I worked with Cooper. Usually, I am hesitant to discuss the specifications of my car search with car salesmen because of the common stereotype of them being pushy and attempting to pressure me into buying something that I am not all that sure about. However, with Cooper, the experience was completely different. He was very attentive to my own wants, needs, and specifications, wasn't overbearing, never got discouraged after I shut down a potential option due to it not fitting my taste, and was very patient in exploring different options. Two things that I have to especially commend Cooper for was his effort and perseverance. He put forth a tremendous amount of effort in finding potential options that fit my on specifications as well as calculating and providing costs and financial options of these potential options when I requested them; He was very open to doing things the way I wanted to do them. His perseverance was also great as he had no problem staying after business hours for multiple hours so that I could have the car I decided upon as mine on that day. Lastly, I would also like to mention that Cooper was very quick to respond when I would call or text him, which made this process a breeze!

From start to finish, my experience at Larry H Miller Honda was superb. At the start of my buying process, a sales representative by the name of Raven helped me find the car I was looking for and made setting up a test drive super easy. He was very consistent when it came to responding to my messages quickly and made sure all the questions I had were answered. When it came time to buy the car, Raven unfortunately was busy with another customer but he introduced me to Ruben who carried on the experience. Ruben made sure to hear me out and truly understand my concerns when it came to the buying process. He was transparent and made the whole sale smooth and stress free. After that, I was moved to Finance where I met Justin Ross. He was hands down the best Finance Manager I’ve ever worked with. Very reasonable, straight to the point, and recognized that we didn’t need our hands held throughout the whole entire process. When a question was presented, he answered promptly - short and simple. It was great working with Frank today to get my car fixed. Had a check engine light throw a code so I brought it in to have it checked. Turns out this was covered by an extended warranty Honda issued and the entire tab was picked up by Honda. Appreciate Frank listening to me and taking time to research this out for me. Chris at Larry H Miller Honda allowed me to extensively test drive a 'new' used car, explaining many of the features of the vehicle. We then drove the same car to their used car lot where I was able to drive another vehicle under consideration (it failed the comparison test). Then we waited to see if another used vehicle would be taken in trade that day for further comparison. Finally, the 'new' used car went through the Honda checklist for certification, was serviced and detailed, ready for me to drive away THAT SAME DAY. One thing lead to another and I am impressed with management and how they reached out to understand the issue and trying to resolve the problem the best they can. They correct over charges or miss billing issue but it doesn’t feel good when I find it. I do find their technicians service knowledge to be very good however and I like using genuine parts.

UPDATE: I brought my car back in a chatted with the service manager Chris. He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Did a little more digging, and we did figure out what was most likely causing the issue. Extremely happy that Chris took the time to look everything over and not just brush off my concerns. The service here is great and im glad we came to a resolution. With everything all said and done, im sure I will be back for vehicle maintenance soon. I had an issue with my vehicle. So I brought my Honda down to Larry H Miller Honda. They recommended services which totaled to a little over 600 dollars. The services did not fix my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle they gave me "your vehicle was in econ mode." I drove my car away and I immediately notice my car had the same issues. I called the day after and told them I was still experiencing the same issues. I went on a test drive with a technician who was very nice but told me my vehicle was underperforming because of the heat. So they basically told me to drive it till something more detrimental happens. He also told me that it seems like I want more power in a vehicle and recommended a newer vehicle with more power. When in reality I just want my car to drive like it was before something clearly happened. I've had this vehicle for years I've drove it in the summer and winter. They brushed off my concern and refuse to investigate further. They have left me with an unfixed vehicle and no money left to have another shop diagnose the problem. Their staff was very friendly enough, just not very helpful to my situation or concerns.

Okay, I just had to leave a review for Frank Beard. I don't like going to dealerships because I don't like to deal with pushy sales men. Frank was unlike any car salesman that I habw ever dealt with. He greeted me right away. He ask great questions about what my son and I were looking for in a vehicle for my son and found the perfect car. He knew I was first worked about the safety in a vehicle since my son would be driving it. He knew my son has his heart set on a Civic. He found the perfect car! At my last visit in November part of the service that was supposed to be done was tire rotation and check the wear of the tires. Since then I put only 1000 miles on the car but the tire pressure light continued to come on. I had them checked at a local tire shop only to find out that the tires had only 3/32 left and they had not been rotated. I was told at Larry Miller (1000 miles ago) that the tires had 7/32 and paperwork showing that and the rotation. I took it to Larry Miller today and they confirmed that the tires were in fact very worn. I was also told that the person checking the wear previously must have made a mistake. I suspect that the tires weren’t even looked at or rotated as scheduled. Update 1/16/23 - Ken from Larry Miller just called me in reference to my negative review. He was very apologetic and committed to resolve the issue and make things right. I am very satisfied with the resolution and feel that he was genuine with his apology. I have always given the service department great reviews in the past and hope that will continue.

Updated review. I dealt with Sandy and she was great all through the ordeal. After a few issues to do the recall repair on the Honda Ridgeline, such as a long wait in the waiting room and the gas neck not fully connected, the service department wanted to make it right and provided an added repair at no cost me. I would recommend this shop in Boise over the one in Nampa due to this shop willing to provide a loaner vehicle while the one in Nampa refused over the phone. They weren't quite the right fit, so we went on a field trip to the other LHM locations. She showed me Foresters and Outbacks, which she figured would be a bit big for me (and was right, based on how I felt about the HRV vs CRV) and I eventually settled on a Crosstrek. Stay away from service dept. They scheduled an inspection for a recall without having the Honda "tool" to evaluate if it needed repair or not. No inspection (or consequential repair) was performed. Thus I wasted some of my time and have to go back yet again. (if I choose) Update: added one star because the dealer and LMH manager did try real hard to make amends to the debacle. I decided still to not go back there as there has to be some ramifications for the bad treatment. I'm now going to a competitor dealer. 2nd update: added a second star because they were eventually able to repair my Ridgeline. Much of the back and forth turns out to be a Honda problem rather than Larry Miller problem. Turns out that my truck failed the safety recall and I had to press LM for a loner as how could I drive a vehicle that failed a safety recall and was not yet repaired. LM did manage to find the repair parts quickly and fixed it in two days. Nice. But...there is always a catch...LM did not inform Honda that the repair was done as evidence that when I checked the VIN on Honda's website it still showed the recall as incomplete. It took a call to LM from me for them to then notify Honda. In the end LM did the repair and were mostly professional about it, but I also have to say they did just the bare minimum of customer service only to step up when pressed. Hope your experience is better.

I went in not expecting to buy a new car. Fredy was very helpful and I ended up signing for a new Honda CRV on May 21st. Was told the car would be ready the first week of June. I didn't end up actually picking it up until June 15th. I got over that. My problem was with the finance person, after he signed me- he didn't give me any of my paperwork and since I was in a rush to get to work, didn't realize it. When I realized he neglected to do so I called and didn't get a response back from him. Over a 2 week period; I called the dealership, left voice mails, texted and also tried to get ahold of him through their FB app. Justin Ross the finance person didn't bother getting back to me. So, I kept getting told my car would be in later and later and I ended up going in 2 weeks later upset that my finance person didn't feel the need to get back to me once the papers were signed. When I went in- I was told he wasn't scheduled to be in until 12. I picked up my car almost a week ago and haven't heard anything back from this finance person. First, I would suggest going to anyother dealership if you are going to get a new car and if you do decide to buy from Larry H. Miller- DO NOT SIGN with Justin Ross. He doesn't care about anything past your signing the paperwork. If he did- he would have at least reached out for his lack of professionalism and apologized for not getting my paperwork to me at a reasonable time. I'm sure if I hadn't gone in, I still wouldn't have it. Buying a new car should be a good experience- this was not.

Did not expect to be writing a 5-star review about a car dealership, but truth is: We had a 5-star experience. Our 2015 Honda Pilot was totaled earlier this year, so we returned to where we bought it as a CPO vehicle in 2017. Plan was to use the insurance funds for another CPO, but wanted something a bit smaller - hence the move from Pilot to CRV. Damian was our initial sales rep. He showed us the (very) limited inventory on site and eventually helped us narrow down the trim model we wanted. When we sat down to review hard numbers, it was quite shocking to learn that a brand new 2022 CRV would be *lower cost* to us than a 2020 CPO CRV with ~25k miles. However, that would require a wait of about 10-12 weeks, as new ones were on backorder. We decided to wait for a new one -- financially, it made much more sense -- and when Dony picked up our "account", we got the call that the CRV was about a week out, so Dony started the process of getting all the paperwork ready. (I should note that there was a ~2 week delay as manufacturing was pushed out just a bit. Minor nuisance, but we knew that was a risk.) The day before the CRV was to arrive, Dony set up an appt for us, and he did a WONDERFUL job of explaining many of the features, plus a number of tips and tricks. Truly, he spent at least an hour with us - and I'm sure there was no additional compensation for him. He just wanted us to get the most of out our new CRV. All in all, it was a surprisingly great experience in a very challenging environment for car buying. One more thing I will note: the car was supplied with a full tank of gas. At today's gas prices, that's not an insignificant benefit. Just an example of the way Honda in general and Larry Miller in particular like to do business. It was a nice touch! (Especially since we didn't exactly negotiate a killer deal - certainly not in this environment - it was nice to get something "back" from the dealer.)

UPDATED REVIEW -I am editing my review as our salesman went to bat for us and was able to get the sales manager to work with us. We walked away feeling as though we had been treated well and fair. PRIOR REVIEW - The salesman was great, but feel the online team was deceptive in their contact with us before we went in. We had done an online trade in estimate on THE Larry H. Miller website that gave us an estimated price of our trade in. Understanding that it was just an estimate we thought we would go down and investigate further. Before we left the house I had a voicemail and an email from their online department stating they were interested in our trade in and the estimate was conservative and that they usually give more than the estimate. On the way there we received another call stating the same information about the trade in. Well when it came down to the numbers they were about $3000 - $5000 short of that estimate. That appeared to be a very large variance. I would think with the information they ask about your vehicle they would underestimate rather than over especially after being told 3 time that it was a conservative estimate. Consumers time is important and people don't want to be getting the run around, especially for a large purchase.

This was one of the better experiences I have had buying a car. We gave our Sales Person (Damien) two models we wanted to look at for the Honda Accord. He showed us the cheaper car first so we could see if we needed the extras for the more expensive version. He did not push us toward the more expensive car. My first experience with Larry Miller Honda of Boise was incredible. I have a 1971 Datsun 510 with full race suspension that is quite low with almost zero tire clearance. In addition to this difficult setup the paint a very $$$$ expensive one off color. I had taken it to a few Alignment shops but was told they would not touch a car like mine. I asked a few friends with high end sports cars and they referred me to Larry Miller Honda. As you would imagine I was quite skeptical. They said to ask for a guy named Cody. So I called and did just that. He was busy so they said they would get him the message to give me a call. Within minutes he actually called. He asked for pictures so he could confirm that he had the right attachments to safely and completely measure/adjust all parameters. He instilled a great deal of confidence in his abilities. Met with Frank about looking at Audi A3 for my son. After sending information over to my son he was having second thoughts of SUV rather than sedan (SUV class was always his top choice). I notified Frank to let him know this. This all took place on a Tuesday. So I went back to looking for SUV class vehicles for my son around the Boise area. On Friday, Frank called me to let me know that an Audi Q5 had just arrived to the dealership. He sent me pics of the vehicle and I arranged a test drive and inspection of the vehicle for the following Monday. As it happens my Son flew into town that Sunday. Frank in the mean time pulled the vehicle aside so it would not be shown to anyone else. Long story short, we ended up purchasing the Q5. The Q5 never even made onto the website listing. I'm indebted to Frank, cause through his understanding of what we wanted and diligence of staying on top of this, it finally brought to an end of over a year of looking at dozens of vehicles for the right one.
