He repeatedly told me that I needed to LOVE a car I was going to buy and drive for a long time - and he helped me do just that! Murph made sure that all of my boxes were checked and he answered all my questions and researched what he needed to help me make the best decision. The F&I Manager, Doug, was also very helpful in the process and made sure to thoroughly explain all of my options and made me feel confident in choosing extended warranties, etc. Underriner preaches "customer for life" and they really did earn my loyalty in the buying process! I'll be back - but probably not for awhile... because I LOVE my new car!! :)

I ordered a Honda Pilot about 4-6 weeks ago with Joe S. I knew I wanted an SUV, but did not know which one. He was quick to answer questions and helped me pick the perfect vehicle. Car shopping sucks, but these folks don't! After visiting several lots in town and dealing with a variety of better and worse salespeople, James Murphy found me on the Honda lot. Even though their inventory didn't have what I needed at the time, he stayed in contact with me for over 2 weeks, showing me vehicles that fit the parameters I was searching for. I completely stopped shopping at other lots, because I knew James had my back. When 'The One' finally arrived, he texted me before the car even hit the lot. Aside from going above and beyond when it came to service, James was also kind and *honest* about the vehicles available, and at no point did it feel like he was making up details to sell the car-- something I can't say about some of the other salesmen I encountered at other lots. After dealing with my picky requirements, James sent me to Doug to handle my financing. While I didn't get a brand new car for 10k (a girl can dream), I walked away believing they did the best they could at negotiating price and payment so we all signed happy. Doug was friendly, organized, and took my money only after going over every question I had until I felt comfortable. I definitely recommend these guys for your next used vehicle. Worth mentioning: I also trust the Honda mechanic service team, which has been recommended to me independently from my car shopping experience. I look forward to hassling them with all the oil changes, car washes, and other maintenance I have covered by my warranty add-ons. **Special shout-out to Edwin, who is also a rock star and will treat you right if you can't find James**

I meant to do this a week ago, but we bought our new 23 HR-V from Joe on 1/30/23 at Underriner. I was having a hard time finding a new one in stock due to the sheer demand on this vehicle. We live in the Bozeman region and I called every Honda dealer in the state. Underriner was the only one that could get me one in the timeframe I required. I had my own financing, but they wanted to see if they could beat my rate with Honda financial. The Honda rate was a little higher, but they let me pay a down payment and held the car for a few days until I could schedule the drive over to Billings. The sales process ended up taking a little longer than usual, but we missed our scheduled time due to a recent blizzard making the roads rather treacherous. The test drive process with Joe was exceptional. He had me drive around the area so he could explain all of the features. I felt this was important due to us making the 4 hour drive in that weather and having never driven the HR-V yet. My wife loved the car, so we went back and did the paperwork. The temps that day were around -20, and they couldn’t get the battery to “final test”, so they gave us a brand new battery. After a very long day, we were extremely satisfied with Joe and the sales manager, and just the overall experience with this dealership. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I see some reviews about the service writers, but I stood and chatted with them while they were replacing my battery, and they were extremely friendly. Oh, and the lifetime power train warranty that they offer really gave me some extra piece of mind. 5 stars.

Update: Went back after my low tire pressure light came on, nothing wrong just user error. James saw me, recognized me and in less than 30 seconds had me back on my way. Customer service that doesn't stop! If I wasn't before I'm now an Underriner customer for life! Thanks Underriner and James for the amazing job you do. After searching and researching for roughly 9 months I ended up buying my car at Underriner. While car shopping as a lone lady can be a bit daunting James made it a fantastic experience. There was no pressure and after my test drives he even showed me incoming vehicles to give me options. Wound up buying a car that day! Doug in finance was amazing! And even worked on my loan the next day to ensure I was getting the best. These guys really go above and beyond. Customer service and retention is obviously highly important to them. I've already recommended them to a friend and highly do so to anyone looking. You won't find better service!!! I definitely didn't in my months of searching.

James was great, I felt at ease working with him. I didnt ever feel pressured or harrassed into buying my truck. As a woman these situations have happened to me in the past. James let me know up front the ratings on the truck as well as anything that needed repair and backed it up with documentation. James worked with Doug P. who was the one finding me the best interest rate on my truck and Doug was successful at giving me a great interest rate!! Doug was very thorough in explaining everything to me and I didnt feel dumb or like I was takin advantage of and his office smelled good - lol. My in-laws had been in Montana, helping me recover from 2 surgeries. On the day they were packing to go home their honda pilot broke down. We had a local shop tow it into their shop. They looked at it for a few days. They determined the computers were not talking to each other. They said the car must go to a dealership. We called the closest one which was in North Dakota. They couldn't get the car in for over 2 weeks. That wasn't going to work for us. They wanted to go home just as bad as we wanted them to go home. I called Shaun, told him the situation and asked when they could get it in. He asked how soon could I get it there. I responded tomorrow. He said we will see you tomorrow. When we showed up he walked out to meet us. Then they had guys come out to help get the car off the trailer. I can do anything over 10 pounds. He had us wait in the waiting room while. They started looking at the car. They found that the fuel line needed to be cleaned out and new gas put in. After that the car started. They ran a diagnostic on it as well to make sure they would make it back to Washington. After a few hours we left and got dinner. By the time we made it back, the car was ready to go home. Even though their trip back home was delayed 5 days, they made it. Thank you for helping us get them home safely.

If I could give more stars I would. We have been in the market for a new SUV and have been looking around as the options are limited. We had the pleasure of working with Laken and he was fantastic! Not an overly pushy salesman that forced us into anything. Made sure we were happy and well informed on every! We did not end up purchasing and we still wanted to drive a few styles they didn't currently have on their lot, but no one in the dealership made us feel bad for doing so. 2100 miles away from home and 450 miles short of my destination, my check engine light came on. I called the Underriner service department to confirm they were open and spoke to Shaun. He told me to bring in my van. I arrived around 3 hoping my repair would be a quick one as it was Saturday, July 3rd and everything was going to be closed for the next 2 days for the holiday. It was not a quick repair. Once the problems were diagnosed, it was going to be an hour and a half or more to fix. It was only 20 minutes until closing time.
