Humberto was a very courteous and helpful salesman from start to finish! I would've given 5 stars but unfortunately supply was so low and demand was so high that there were some added dealer fees that I didn't feel were necessary. That said, they worked with me and we got the deal done. Also, I was advised to take on an extended warranty, but only learned after accepting that I had selected "platinum." I would've liked to have seen more information (and other warranty tiers) before selecting, but I suppose it's partially my fault for not asking. In my experience, all of the warranty options are laid out with brochures, as opposed to spoken about as if it were the only option available. When it's all said and done though, I'm happy with my new car and satisfied with the extended warranty, car's been driving great and now I'm covered for the long haul.

Great experience from start to finish by all involved. Tried purchasing vehicles from two other dealers prior only to find surprise add on fees and inflated financing when I arrived, walking out of both with no vehicle. So expected the worse and and all day event. Price and financing were just as quoted, financing even slightly better as they found someone to beat my own bank. In and out including test drive and vehicle clean up in under 2 hours. Jose Flamenco my sales consultant and the team that helped arrange, were great and will definitely return when I need another vehicle.

Jose Flamenco was the first person to greet us through the door, and he was extremely personable and friendly when fielding our initial questions and getting us settled in when looking for our new car. After speaking with Jose, he searched multiple dealerships in order to find us a car that was in stock, and even with the low inventory, he was able to find us something that we were excited about buying. Jose was took the time to ensure we knew what we were getting into, and was great at clarifying what our options were for what we were looking for. Vj DeFreitas was also a big part of our positive experience here, as the finances are always something that bring a lot of question. He was more than happy to answer everything we had question and concern about, and took the time to ensure we fully understood what our payments would be, and what was the best way to manage paying off our vehicle. This was mainly because of salesman Shell Lewis, who went above and beyond in making sure I got the car I wanted for a terrific price. Shell followed up with me immediately when I first inquired about a vehicle and he then made sure I was informed of all my financing options. Even when I had troubles with my bank processing my payment, Shell was patient and still made it possible for me to drive home that day with the car I wanted. He even went outside in the freezing cold to help me set up the Bluetooth in my new car. Shell is really a one-of-a-kind salesman. He cares about customers and building genuine relationships and he’s flexible. You really feel like he is working with you, not against you. That’s what I appreciated most! Great experience from start to finish.

I had been looking nonstop for a very particular model of the 2021 Sienna with no luck. I finally found the car at DARCARS in Rockville but was unfortunately busy and couldn’t go all the way there. Instead Humberto secured the car from their Baltimore location, completed the entire sales process with me in one day via text, email, and phone and then he hand delivered the car to my house! This was my first time car purchase and it was a bit lengthy, I did come with a preapproval from my bank, car insurance, and already knowing the car I wanted. I was there from about 7:45pm and ended up having to stay after hours until about 11ishh (most of that time was all paperwork). BUT overall I give 5+ Stars to Shell Lewis!! He was an amazing sales rep and really went above and beyond for customer service and satisfaction. He provided a very detailed explanation of the ins and outs of my car, gave me the best deal possible, provided beverages to the kids and other family members that came with me, and stayed with me throughout the whole process. The people who usually wash the cars and do detail cleanings were already gone, but Shell stepped in and did it on his own since I wouldn’t be able to return to the dealership the next day due to it being a lengthy drive away from my house. He even offered to call me in a couple days to check up on me and how I’m handling the car. THANK YOU SHELL! If you go to the DarCars Toyota of Baltimore ask for Shell! You won’t regret it! I’ll definitely recommend him to my friends and family looking to buy a car, he made it worth the long drive!

The car i wanted wasn't in stock and their was a small problem with financing. They were not only able to help with the financing at a much lower interest rate then i expected (also managed to lower it a bit more after some talking), but get the vehicle from one of their other dealerships in a timely matter. My salesman was Mr. Williams and he was very friendly and helpful. We even shared a few laughs. He also managed to turn a terrible day into a very good one when he texted that i got what i had wanted so much in the color i wanted (the color was actually my second choice but my first choice was out of inventory even on Toyota's website so i wasn't expecting it).

It's hard for me to rate a mechanic because I don't know much about cars. I do know that I paid a lot of money to have repairs done that I didn't even realize I needed. That being said, the person I worked with was very nice - he explained everything he was doing, helped me prioritize what to fix first (or what could wait), and offered a free loaner vehicle for over the weekend because I had plans to go out of town. We discussed options and preferences on the phone, and when I showed up to my appointment he had several prime options ready to go. I traded over my car in the same two hours and drove home with a brand new car, with my phone synced up (thanks again Murel) and knowledge of all the bells and whistles. This dealership is really excellent and full of kind people. The finanical wizard VJ was involved and kind, he helped through every step of the way. He was clear and patient. You can instantly tell that this team works as a unit, from the kind receptionists, to the car inspectors, fantastic sales staff, and competent financial team. With the help of the online services of TrueCar, I requested quotes from Toyota dealerships from Frederick to Baltimore city. Of the nearly a dozen responses that I received, the one from James Anderson - General Sales Manager of DARCARS Toyota of Baltimore - was hands down the best offer. After a few quick email exchanges with Maria Dye, I scheduled for a test drive and signing the sale paperwork for the upcoming Saturday. On a Saturday afternoon, we were met with Murel Hurt, who accompanied me for the test drive and guided us through the sale process, The whole process took approximately 2 hours. This was the best car-buying experience I have had. I give this dealership very high marks for price and customer service.

I’m not the type to write customer reviews, but I do read them and was a little concerned from some of the old reviews of this place. But after purchasing a brand new Corolla LE Eco this weekend from Darcars Toyota of Baltimore, I felt the need to share my car buying experience. My wife and I were looking to replace our 97 Camry for the past month and a half. During this time, we debated between buying new or used, small sedan or small SUV. Our sales rep Shawn Reddick displayed a rare combination of patience, knowledge and persistence. He checked in on us even as we explored offers from other dealers (and we reached out to 14 other dealerships in total!!) and responded to our evolving car needs with meaningful updates to earn our business. In the end, Shawn’s offer was the best of the bunch and his patience and professionalism sealed the deal. I’d also add that I’ve heard of nightmare scenarios in the finance office of different dealerships when people close on their car deals. My experience with Devin Jones was straightforward and stress-free. Devin’s financing terms were fair, clear and he gave me as much time as I needed to read over the documents requiring my signature. I would absolutely recommend Darcars Toyota of Baltimore if you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle. They’re a bit of an underdog dealership because of their size but their willingness to go that extra mile in the name of customer service makes them a great choice. Laid back atmosphere. Not a crowdy place. I would be happy if they had better staff. The finance person I dealt with tried to rush me. I almost felt like I was wasting his time because I was considering his options. I felt cornered almost. I met a few nice people at the end.

Bought my RAV4 there a few years ago. At that time, the way they worked was the salesman and you would negotiate a deal, then the contracts person would take over and try to change the deal (with me, she changed the price and interest rate), but when you catch them, they change it back. Then they try to upsell you ("but everybody buys that") ... so stay on guard and you'll do fine.
