Bryan Cooper has take time over numerous car deals to Help me weigh the pros and cons of my purchase and put a voice of reason with zero pressure into it. He knows I sometimes can be a tad impulsive and has really helped keep my head level. Even when one car wasn’t great and just didn’t fit my needs or my business, he made sure I got the highest buy back offer around, including selling my self.
Bryan has become a good friend and I fully trust Fred Anderson to take care of me as a customer. Even if I hadn’t bought a number of cars for my self and my business

Joshua Adams helped me get my 2020 Corolla Hatchback. I’d been looking for a few weeks and finally found one. Buying cars is always stressful but he made the process super smooth and was very accommodating. After the test drive my father figure that accompanied me was worried about the breaks. This Review is for Michael in new cars sale at Fred Anderson Toyota. I worked with Michael over the span of a couple months while ordering/waiting for my 2023 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Micheal was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The truck was everything I asked for, every single option, nothing more, nothing less. It was my first time buying a new vehicle and it went very smooth. Truck came WAY faster then other dealerships in the area had estimated. Fred Anderson does not take deposits until they find the vehicle for you and I was happy to hand it over when they day had finally come. 2-3 weeks later the truck is doing great and very satisfied with my experience with Michael.

I’ve always wanted a 4Runner. When I went to Fred Anderson it was just about finding the right one for me. They had a great selection of used, but I was looking for new. Mikey took down what I was looking for and within a week he found my 4Runner. It was already in route to another dealership but they worked their magic and got it to Asheville! A few days later it was detailed and I was driving it off the lot. Since then I’ve had great service from the service department and follow up with customer service.

My husband was browsing through their Camry inventory. Matthew Bateman drove up to the express service and took us to see what they had.
We needed an all wheel drive for our driveway.
Matthew Bateman said there was one on the way to the dealership. He showed us pictures. He had us signed, sealed and closed on the sale in a half hour!
He is definitely 💯% go to salesman at Fred Anderson Toyota. He was very respectful and courteous to us. I’m very happy with my new Camry!

My husband and I just bought our 3rd vehicle from Fred Anderson Toyota. The sales people and finance staff are super nice and very helpful. Our Salesperson, Bryan Cooper was a great help. The car we wanted to look at was being test driven by someone else and he was very patient showing us (me) many other possible vehicles. I loved them all and couldn't make a decision that day. Told Bryan we would think about them and come back. Got a phone call a little later, Bryan called to tell us the sale fell through on the car we wanted and if we were still interested, it was available. We went right back and bought the car. We also bought the extended warranty since it was a used car. We have had positive experiences in the past with the extended warranty on our previous purchases. My husbands truck got a brand new transmission, no hassle. Yes, it had to go to a transmission shop as it was a Ford but still repaired for free and quickly. We highly recommend Fred Anderson Toyota. I love my new used car.

I had an excellent experience with their service team this afternoon. My service advisor Phillip Boose was professional, insightful, and charismatic. I elected to wait at the dealership until service was completed. They had me out the door within an hour and provided a comprehensive detail of all services done on my vehicle.

Prior to today my husband has always taken my car for an oil change(I know, I know! Don’t judge). Today I was determined to do this on my own and I was greeted by really friendly women upon pulling up, who took my information (didn’t laugh at me when I was clueless as to the procedure) but supported me (especially a lovely customer service consultant, named Paige). She made me feel at ease and confident about what was happening. I love the transparency of receiving a video showing me exactly what was happening with my car. I felt like I was being treated with integrity. They have my business for life for SUPERIOR customer service and fairness.

Didn’t feel like we had to haggle too much and everyone was very respectful of our boundaries (we didn’t feel forced into anything).

The sales staff worked diligently to get the factory to build the Toyota we wanted (rare trim, color, and options). Once it arrived, they spent a generous amount of time answering all of our many questions (it was our first hybrid) and helping us get our trial subscriptions set up. The finance staff also worked with us in a very forthright and responsive manner. This is the third new Toyota we've bought from this dealer (by the way, the service staff is great too) and we plan to continue buying from them in the future.

I’ve purchased quite a few new cars and trucks in my life, but I felt like this was one of the best and easiest purchase I’ve ever made.
My salesman Cameron went out of his way to make sure I was happy and understand everything about my new purchase. I live 3 hours away from the dealership and the truck that I was purchasing was not delivered yet to Fred Anderson Toyota. When it did come in I was unable to drive the 3 hours to pick it up so Cameron made a special trip to my home to deliver my new ride.

No pressure at all. Very friendly. Sat down and patiently listened to what I wanted. Went through the entire inventory of the model in which I was interested until we found one No haggling. Great trade in of my vehicle. They took care of registration, taxes, and contacting the DMV to have them send title and license plate to me.
They answered all of my questions and carefully explained all the details regarding every step of the way.
This was the most positive experience I have ever had with purchasing a car.

I had never bought a new car before and I was dreading the process. I had a great experience with this dealership. I worked with Scott and he was never dishonest or pushy. The dealership was fair and reasonable throughout the process. I had to wait about a month for my car to come in and Scott kept in touch and kept me updated on the status of the car. They even compromised a bit on the price whereas every other dealer I talked to in the area said they wouldn't negotiate because the current market is so slanted in favor of the sellers. But this place made the experience easy and fair and got me the car I wanted.

The purchase experience was good however; I was sent a new license plate instead of transferring my original as I requested and for which I signed paperwork. After returning the new plate to them on 3/17, I heard nothing. Contacted the sales person and was told the title person would contact me. Nothing. I called today and was assured that the sales paperwork would be sufficient for the lacking plate registration until NC DMV sends it, even though the purchase was over a month ago. I sure hope so!

Overall service at the dealership is still good- I have owned Toyota's for my entire adult life. I consider the dealership slightly more expensive than other service centers but find the Lyft service a much more pleasant way to spend a few hours while my brakes are being repaired. Most of your service personal are courteous but could be more so. And the current coffee machine is very frustrating (for many) to use, especially the elderly- this technology does not behave! Please get back the Starbucks machine as I know many would appreciate that as well!!

I first called about the 2023 Sequoia. There was a wait list, I was apprehensive to get on the list at first. However I got on it. Carl from smart path gave me a call one Monday, letting me know they had some vehicles that were due to come into the dealership. He emailed me over my options. I told him which color, package, and vehicle I wanted. From there, he set me up to come into the dealership to meet a sales person and do my down payment. I was set up with Brandon Lance. When I tell you he was the best salesperson I’ve ever had, I fully mean it. He kept me updated while my vehicle was being shipped to the dealership. He would call, text, and email me constant updates. Once the vehicle made it here he let me know. Brandon was so professional, transparent, and amazing at communicating with me every step of the way. Initially came for a test drive and Dave Ebers was very accommodating without being the slight bit pushy. We returned when they listed the car I was looking for at the right price and because Dave was with a client he connected us to Manny Pino. Once again we had a sales representative who was quick to help and transparent about the sale but never made us feel manipulated or taken advantage of as we have felt with basically every other car purchase. Bo in financing was efficient and friendly. When we needed to return for service Dave and Manny both took time out to be sure our problem was resolved quickly. Brandon Davis is a wonderful man! He guided us through the process easily. This is no reflection on Brandon, but I did find it to be really kind of icky that there's no way to get a break for paying cash because they are penalized by the banks they're associated with for not sending them enough payments- not totally sure why we should have to pay both the dealership plus 10% to one of their affiliated banks. I'm sure this is common practice now-a-days, but it's still kinda gross. But as I said, Brandon himself absolutely deserves five stars, regardless of banks being terrible. (5 stars for Brandon, he did get $1.14 off, negative eleventeeseven for commercial banks.)

We went to Fred Anderson Toyota because we had just discovered that our tire pressure was down to 22. We just asking for suggestions for where we could get help. We are tourists and don’t drive a Toyota. They examined our tire and found it to be irreparable. They added enough air to get us to a store that sold the tires we needed. We were in and out in less than an hour and they did not charge us. We were tourist in need of help and vulnerable. They were gracious and kind and so incredibly helpful!

Within less than a week (and between Christmas and New Years), the desired vehicle was located and driven to Anderson, and we picked it up today! Very pleased! I recently bought a new Toyota Tacoma from Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville and had to write a review because of my experience. At a time when new vehicles are few and far between that are actually sitting on the lot and many throughout the country are struggling to get exactly what they are looking for I really didn’t know how well the process of buying my first new truck was going to go. However, my salesperson Johnny Hunt was very helpful to me in my search. At first what I needed and wanted wasn’t on the lot and an allocation of something similar to what I wanted was available but I decided not to go with that one. Johnny told me as soon the next allocation came through he would reach out and indeed he did. The process was extremely smooth and he found me a truck that was DCLB with the right packages color everything! It was delivered to me in the time frame that was expected which was about 6 weeks. The wait was worth it and I am grateful that I was well taken care of in what will probably be the only new vehicle purchase of my life. Thanks Johnny and thanks Fred Anderson Toyota for a great experience!

Most services I have with my car go just fine however on my last service the gasket to the oil cap was left off and oil leaked all over my garage floor, sadly it left a huge stain on the floor which cannot be cleaned. It was a huge inconvenience to have to go back to the dealership which is an hour away, to fix this issue. When I brought my car in to Kevin Bradish he was very rude to me. I did not appreciate his attitude considering I had to drive an hour into Asheville a week after a service apt to fix the mistake that Toyota made. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for his attitude.

When no one else could get my new 2023 Toyota RAV4 AWD XLE asap Ciara and Robert were able too. I was a walk in with a totaled car. And a lot of cash. But they didn’t no that. So I didn’t have 46 days or even 21 days. I had tomorrow. They got my SUV in a week and actually got it before I could get back to them. The SUV is beautiful and all that was promised. And I have to say even dealing with their finance department, Connor, was a breeze. They try to make it as easy as possible. Our salesperson had told us exactly what to bring so we were prepared. Don’t forget that social security card! Great experience! Great service! Oh yes. There was something wrong with the car. Service was there within two minutes and that piece of plastic was snapped on under 5 minutes. He did a great job also. So we had management, sales, finance, and service in one day. Dealership over charged for the plates and after us trying multiple times to make it right, only to be told that the overcharged fees were correct, even though the amounts were clearly different from when we signed.

This place was a breath of fresh air after visiting over half a dozen dealerships. No drama and they tell you the truth. With the lack of available inventory in the area many of the dealerships have turned into rude condescending jerks because they know they will sell the vehicle for the asking price. I asked 5 different dealerships the extended warranty price on new vehicles and no one would tell me until I had filled out paperwork to buy the vehicle.

They have done away with their shuttle service and now you will have to ride in a Lyft car. I wish I'd known ahead so I could make arrangements. I did not feel comfortable doing that, but had no choice. Second I had a new set of brakes and rotors put on my car by them which have squeaked the whole time. I was told it was normal with them being new. Well I was working from home because of COVID and didn't drive it much. I finally went back into the office in June and the squeaking was still there even after driving it for a month or two. I went in to have them looked at and they were going to charge me almost $200 for a silence treatment, which I felt should be done at no charge. I was told the 1 year warranty date ran out 1 month and a few days before my appt. Really? And last they wanted to do other things which would bring my total to $800 if I'd approved it, which I didn't. I was very disappointed because I've been a customer for a long time.

Paying for repairs always stings, but these guys make the experience as best possible. Colby and Justin were both super helpful and friendly through a major service of $500. They remembered me from my last service and asked questions relating directly to conversations we had the last time I was there for a service. There’s a comfy waiting/work zone and they got me a Lyft home. It was found that I had a cracked rim and Colby put in the extra effort to call and fill out a warranty claim for me, which was honored. They had a rim in stock and replaced it. I’ve bought two Tacoma’s here, got a solid deal each time and with this kind of service will shop here again when the time comes. Good was scheduling, time to completion, competence, friendliness and a comfortable waiting room with coffee and wi-fi.
Needs improvement is the quality of service. After performing state required safety check, the car interior had a very strong interior gasoline smell. It took 4 hours of driving performing errands with windows and/or sunroof open to diminish the smell. More care should be taken for this not to happen.
Poor is current openness and accuracy of the up front light replacement estimate with undisclosed excessive added surcharges and the level of clear detail in billing receipt. Add on fees should not exist, as they are either normal cost of doing business or extra profit, both should be included in the original estimate or at least fully disclosed up front. I consider businesses that add hidden extra energy, fuel, service and supply fees as being both greedy, less than open honest and to usually be avoided.

As far as dealerships, I've never had a better experience. Kevin in the service department took excellent care of me. He was super-cordial and very professional, and he checked in on me and made sure my car was taken care of in a timely manner, even squeezing in a brake inspection. I was told 2-4 hours. They were done in just over an hour. They parked my car around by the door where we were waiting in the lounge and delivered by keys to my table. (Only knock is: dealer prices--labor and parts are about 1-1/2 times and 2 times what you'll pay at a family garage or if you can do them yourselves.)

This service department is the best service I have ever had having owed 15 different cars over the past 55 plus years! The steps were simple…. Made appointment, drove up and they greeted me having my name ready for check in. Verified the service details and escorted me into the waiting room after assigning me to a service coordinator. Said service would take 45 minutes barring any unforeseen issues. After 25 minutes I received a text with a video of my car and details of what was discovered. I approved the service again and the work was completed in 20 more minutes and I was contacted vis text car was ready. Service coordinator took my payment and escorted me to my car and addressed any additional questions. THAT IS WHAT I CALL PROFESSIONAL AAA SERVICE! Just plain outstanding and I applaud this dealership for having such an effective clean service process. Thank you!!

My experience at Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville was not a pleasant one to say the least. I am a young buyer and uneducated on things but the time was not taken to fully explain it to me. When I spoke with one of the managers Mark Goodman he was very short and rude. I was not trying to be a difficult buyer by any means but when a mistake was made by the dealership they should be willing to admit to it. When I had to go back 6 days after purchasing a vehicle, I had a much better experience. Luckily I was only having to speak with Josh Binkley, the finance manager. He was very nice. He wanted and listened to my feedback of why I was so frustrated and asked what can be done in the future on his part so that he can make other experiences better. He did admit that a mistake was made and did everything he could to make it right. Fred Anderson takes pride in their "transparent and easy to understand" I did not feel this was the case with me. The only good thing was my experience with Josh Binkley. My salesman Connor was pleasant and did a lot to try and help. He was available when I called and did what he could on his end of the transaction. I do not know if I will ever want to do business with them again but I do appreciate Josh taking the time to try and make it right and Connor for taking time out of his day to do what he could.

Friendly staff and good inventory of vehicles. Had the truck I wanted, but at last minute told me they forgot some taxes and jacked the price up $900 on me after promising me that the out-the-door would be lower (the finance team “caught” the mistake, I hope it was an honest mistake and not a scam). When I asked them to make up for this mistake somehow, the only thing they could offer me was to sell me extended warranties and other expensive services for a “discounted” rate. But I still would have to pay several thousand dollars extra. Maybe they really were offering discounted services… but how can I know for sure? And why not just give me something for the value of the mistake? The whole thing put a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise I would have given this dealership 5/5 stars.
UPDATE:
The management team contacted me and offered to help make things right by giving me a credit towards any service I’ll need in the future. It means a lot to me that they cared enough to read my review and took the time to respond. I feel better about them as a dealer now and would say they probably deserve 5 stars after all.

Update I left the original comment above on August the 2nd. This comment is on August 11th. The day after I received this comment or the next I received an email and it was addressed from the owner asking me to get in touch with the general manager of Fred Anderson Toyota and give me their phone number. I called and left a message on the voicemail and got no response. On August the 8th I called a second time and left a voicemail. I have still received no contact from the general manager or anyone else. This just goes to show as to what I was saying about their lack of communication it just gets deeper and deeper. And after I left my first comment I received a packet in the mail and realized that what I communicated to them on the day that I bought the truck they paid no attention to and now it's costing me more money out of my pocket to get it all straight the way I need to get it straight. Like I said the truck is quality vehicle and I have no problems with it but be careful and get everything in writing and make sure they got their eyes and cross their t's.

There was very little wiggle room for negotiating and available cars. Much of that is not on the dealer due to the car shortage but it weighed on the whole process for sure. It would’ve been nice if they were more proactive with finding other options or offering other ideas or seeing what may be coming in in the next few weeks but still wasn’t a bad experience. The salesman was really helpful and did a lot but again the shortage and current prices made the whole ordeal a bit rough. At the end of the day I’m super happy with the car I ended up going with but it was a bit more than I wanted to pay. Looking forward to having my mechanic look at it and tell me it looks super clean and well maintained and if it somehow turns out not to then I hope the dealer can work with me again finding a solution.

Went in for a recall repair. While there I got scheduled service (oil, filter etc). Recall was free, on their Family Plan I paid only for filters $80. Decided to get new tires while I was there. Everything was done quickly and on schedule. I particularly like the video tour of the service by the mechanic! My negotiation with them was courteous, honest and fair. Having done some prior research, the pricing was very competitive. Overall, a highly appreciated and recommendable experience!

Due to a car breakdown, we were forced to stay overnight in Asheville during our vacation. Anderson Toyota took care of us and got our van fixed in a timely manner. They were very polite and professional. During the repair, one of their technicians accidentally broke our radiator. Not only did they fix it at no cost to us, they offered us a rental car for our use while they did the other repair. I highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for Toyota repairs.

Yesterday I scheduled an appt. for an oil change and tire rotation. Best auto service experience I've ever had! Prices were reasonable. From my check-in to receiving my vehicle after service, it was a pleasant experience. Communication with the rep at check-in and check-out was superb. What I liked most was the video the tech shot both under the hood and under the car. This was new for me, and I think it will go a long way in creating trust between the customer and the service dept. I also really liked the fact that no one tried to sell me any unnecessary services. How often do you find an honest service dept? I will definitely be back in the future!

Made an appointment for 8:15am on a Saturday. I knew I'd expect to wait a little bit to get my service done and Mike Taylor even told me to expect around 90 minutes. That was fine and I accepted it, I knew it would take a bit. However, 90 minutes came and went and my car had still not been taken into a bay for balance, rotation, and alignment. I asked Mike, who btw was great and apologetic, how much longer, as I had to get back to Shelby, NC (70 miles away and where I reside) for a prior engagement. He advised that it seemed no one was really seeming to be in charge out there, which explained why 3-4 people who came in after me also left before me, and that it would still be another 30-40 minutes. He said I could reschedule and I considered it, but I had driven over 70 miles that morning to get to my 8:15 scheduled appointment, so I waited it out opting to just be late. I know everyone is stretched thin and life is still moving full speed, but I was really disappointed in this visit. This is the closest Fred Anderson to me. But it taking 2+ hours for basic/regular maintenance on a vehicle that had a scheduled appointment was ridiculous.

My 21 rav 4 hybrid had a overnite dead battery. This really caught me by surprise. I called for a roadside jump start. They were there within 20 minutes. The man that gave me the jump start advised me to take my rav 4 to the dealership...only 3 miles away to get my vehicle checked out. They got me right in. It turned out I had a computer chip that had gone bad and drained my battery. This was the small 12 volt battery. They fixed the computer chip and charged my battery and I was back on the road in 3 hours. Now that's good service. I will recommend Fred Anderson Toyota in Asheville N.C. to anyone.

We test drove the low mileage 2022 and then the same model 2023 that has the 4 cylinder turbo. Scott Gray, our sales person, helped us to compare our two options. No pressure.
The new 2023 was a little more cost but for the difference with used it was an easy decision to buy new. The 2023 Highlander engine is very suited to mountain curvey roads with outstanding low end rpm torque. This is our 4th purchase from this dealership location. I am going to add an update to this as I didn't report it before. When I was in for two check-ups prior to this current one, which was my 90,000 mile check up, the express advisor I had at that time try to sell me two different services that would have cost me over $300 total. I declined both and on my next visit and this current visit I was told by both advisors that they were not needed until I reached the 100,000 mark at least. That I do not appreciate at all. I am going to lower my rating by two stars for that. But I want it to be known that on my visit today, Allisson rates five stars.
I originally bought my vehicle from Jim Barkley Toyota and not once did I ever feel like I had to be on guard to what was being told to me. There was total trust. Ever since Fred Anderson has taken over, I feel like I have to go in prepared to be hoodwinked at every corner. If I can't trust the dealership then who can I trust!? Also, I had not been there 5 minutes before someone else in the dealership texted me and wanted to talk to me about selling my car. The dealership has contacted me repeatedly about selling my car and I have a responded repeatedly to quit contacting me and if and when I was ready to sell my car I would let them know. Apparently they don't keep any kind of notes or anything. I think maybe it is time that I go to a different dealership here on out to deal with my Prius.

This was hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. I called 3 car dealers and online requested 3 others. Fred Anderson Toyota was the only dealer who answered the phone. The other called back 2 days later. The 3 onlines all sent me back not the information I asked for and also a day or so later. Called Fred Anderson they answered and scheduled me a test drive for an hour later. Held the car till I got there and no longer than 5 seconds of walking in I got help from Brandon. Amazing guy and kept me stress free the entire experience. He pairs me up with Josh in financing who was able to get us exactly the monthly payment we needed. Also a super stress free experience!! When was the last time financing wasn't stressful. Either way can't recommend them enough. I had a problem with my sunroof right off the lot but Brandon litterally took it in and got it fixed as soon as I came back no hassle. He even showed me how to unlock the roof which was an amazing feature. If you want good stress-free help go here. They have even followed up just to make sure the roof was still ok.

From purchasing my vehicle to the service department - all encounters have surpassed my expectations. The service department employees are ALWAYS kind, respectful and helpful. From the time I drop off my vehicle for service, I am greeted with respect. All employees are helpful in assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of my vehicle. This is the first time I have not dreaded taking my car to a dealership for routine services. Appointments are easily available. Zack was great to work with as we picked out our vehicle. The time spent at the dealership completing the deal was less than some other experiences so that is a positive. The reason for the average rating was the arrogance of the finance officer (name intentionally omitted). He attempted to sell me points with a ridiculous interest rate and when I told him what I had recently paid for interest through Toyota Financial, he called me a liar. He was exceptionally rude and bad at his job. When it became apparent he was not going to be successful with selling me on a higher tier he came back with a rate a full 3 points lower. Bring your own financing if you buy from here.

I was pleased with everything but not being sure of how long it would take. They said it was gonna take til Wed so I went to stay with my daughter who lives 1 hr away. Then they called around 3:30 to say it is ready. I just stayed at my daughters and went on Wednesday morning. If I got a rental it would cost me $35.00. They should have a complementary car in case they didn't have it fixed in time. Their work is great. My helper Kevin was very good and nice.

I recently moved to Asheville from Hendersonville and had been going to a Toyota dealership in Hendersonville. I was extremely worried about having an inspection done due to my susceptibility covid-19. I checked with both dealerships and was extremely surprised to find that Fred Anderson Toyota offered free pickup and return of my car for service and I did not have to have close contact. Also the precautions and safety measures they took we're so much better than anyone else. They arrived in gloves and a mask and covered my car before getting in and everything went so smoothly. My service advisor Mike Taylor was excellent and so very helpful and made the whole experience so pleasant and smooth. I will always ask for him now when needing service. I highly recommend this dealership especially for those who need to take extra precautions during covid-19. They care about our health and safety and provide excellent service.

I scheduled an appointment for service work for a noise in my front end this weekend. I have been dealing with an annoying noise and wanted the issue fixed. My vehicle is new with less than 30k miles and still under warranty so I didn't feel it would be a major concern or issue. When I arrived I explained in detail the issue with the noise my vehicle had. I was told they would also do a multi point inspection via video and I would receive this video on my phone. My appointment was 10:45am. I left the dealer at 3pm. I had no idea I would wait for 4 hours to determine the noise. They had no snack or drink machines either. When I received my video from the tech working on my vehicle. It was difficult to hear him so I had to replay it 3 times. He said he had determined the noise and fixed the issue with a piece of felt tape... the issue was not fixed and the noise is still heard. I live in Waynesville so this is quite the trip for me. I wasn't happy with the service I received or the 4 hour wait time for an issue that wasn't fixed.
Update: after contacting the service manager I took my vehicle back to be fixed. They kept it over night and I did have difficulties getting in touch for updates however the next day the problem was solved/ fixed.

What a great place! Honest and dependable. I cant believe they sent me a video of my car in the shop. The video described (in detail) what exactly was wrong with my car. Never been serviced by a place that did that. I recently bought a car from these guys and let me tell you…these guys are the best! The guy who sold me my car (Steve) was such a cool guy. Very patient and knowledgeable. He made me feel very welcomed and helped me through buying a car (this was my first time). Steve answered all my questions and ensured they I was taken care of. I have to break my rating into 3 parts.
I had to have major work done on a Toyota Camry I bought elsewhere and I could not have been happier with the Service Dept. They stayed on top of the repairs, gave me a loaner that I drove to Memphis and back. Explained in detail what the issues were, provided the damaged parts that I was able to claim with insurance, just great, great job. Five Stars.
Sales dept? Not so much. I did my research and decided on a 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited. I used TrueCar through Sam's Club and Consumer Reports. This dealership has a lower Google rating than other Toyota dealers in TN and SC but I thought I'd give them an opportunity to quote. I knew with the chip shortage and my specs, my price would be somewhere near list. I specifically asked for a cash price, all in, before sales tax. I got what seemed to be a pretty competitive quote but I asked if it included everything I asked for and nothing more...days passed. As I was in no hurry, I didn't care. I don't remember if I reached out again but I think I asked for another quote. I got a beat around the bush quote that the Avalon Hybrid Limited started at xx,xxx. I replied that's nice, what's the bottom line. I got a response back quoting a Corolla!!! LOL. I stated I was done with them and would take my business elsewhere and to take me off their contact list. That's my experience.
Update: June 26, 2022. I have my Avalon and I am very pleased. I tried selling my used car myself but did not have one buyer show up, lots of crazos but no legit buyers. I got quotes from Edmunds and Kelly but the locals were not competitive 2-3 months ago and it looked like I was going to Spartanburg/Greenville or Bristol. I gave it one last shot and the locals came up to the out of town dealers. I took my used car to Chris Skulnick at Fred Anderson Toyota this past Saturday....it was a breeze! Chris looked at the car, met with his boss, and offered me a bit more than the Kelly price! I was surprised, thought there'd be a hassle. And then they had a Lyft take me home on their tab. Highly recommended Chris at Fred Anderson.

We just purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander from the used lot at Fred Anderson Toyota. The building was a Saturn dealership at one time. I purchased 3 vehicles from that Saturn dealership. This would be the fourth car from that building. I must say that it was the easiest and best car purchase process that my wife and I have ever had. If you need a person to see, go in and ask for Ethan. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. The first time we met him several months before purchasing, he came out, introduced himself and asked if we had any questions. He answered them and told us, he would give us time to look. He never pressured or pushed us at all. He gave us his number when we left that day and said if he could ever help, to let him know. I called him late on a Thursday evening after my wife's car had a major issue, he came in on his day off on Friday and helped us get into the car we found online.
