I’ve had mixed experiences here. I did buy a truck from them a few years ago. It was an easy process and a great truck. I actually wish I still had it. I have tried to buy 2 cars from them since and it was not at all the same. If I could get someone to call me back they did not sound like they really wanted to be at work or help someone at all.

Staff was friendly. Needed a second key and Lee recommended a mobile locksmith, got that done. He also referred a place to store it while I'm out of town. In just a few hours I was driving away. He asked for my driver's license, made a copy of my license and handed me the keys to the car. He told us to go have fun. He was so positive, he made us feel so comfortable. When I arrived what was to be my new car was in a place of prominence right outside of the front door. My husband and I had been looking for a specific truck for quite some time. When we saw it was at Dependable we rushed right over. Kanuri remembered me from looking at their inventory 3 weeks prior and just gave us the keys to take it out. It was more than we were hoping for and we bought it on the spot. The next day we noticed a sensor was malfunctioning. When you buy a used vehicle you sign paperwork stating that you bought it as is and can't bring it back. I called multiple shops looking for a place to have it fixed. The wait was a week or two, so I called Kanuri. He didn't waste any time. Just told us to bring it back and he would have it fixed for free. 3 days later we picked it up and it runs like a dream. We are so happy with our truck. And so thankful to Kanuri for making this process a positive one.

Initially, I went to Dependable to check out a vehicle that I actually didn't end up loving after I test drove it. Surprisingly, Cory, one of the salesmen, did not try to push me into being interested in any other vehicles, which I appreciated. Later, I was notified by Dependable of a Subaru that was right up my alley & everything I was looking for. The vehicle had just arrived on the lot that day, and thanks to Chris, Cory & Denali FCU (my bank), I purchased this vehicle with ease. The customer service was superb. Chris even drove my rental car back to Enterprise for me! Worked with Kanuri Stokes and he was fast and efficient. Was able to borrow the car for a night and return when the bank was open the next day! DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY! UNITED CAR CARE refused to work with me. I need the dash removed to complete a dx as I have about a gallon of water sloshing around due to a leak. The mechanic checked every area and I had to pay ~200 and came up with nothing but stated that the dash would need to be removed to find the source. That is upwards of 1k and the warranty claims adjuster stated they cannot cover it because it is diagnostic and so I would not be reimbursed "for a diagnostic service"

Lee and his Boss can be trusted fully. We (tourists) bought a Car to go up north where you are not allowed with rental Cars. After 2'000 miles there was a Transmission Problem, which should have been covered by the additional insurance we bought (unitedcarcare.com). The insurance was very rude and unprofessionell and declined any coverage!I!! Stay away from this insurance!!! In Europe I would have taken them to Court!! The Jeep dealership in Soldotna got our car working again so that we didn't need to trade it in. We purchased a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee less than 45 days ago. We did a test drive and checked Carfax for no accidents. The check engine light lit up on the drive from Anchorage to Homer. The car starts shaking anytime we go over 55 MPH and loses power going uphill. We called the dealership and told them our concerns and were told they'd call us back multiple times after speaking with the owner. No one ever got back in touch with us. After taking the vehicle to a local shop, we were told that cylinder 6 on our engine was misfiring. The back lights keep burning out after being replaced multiple times. We were told to take the car to a Jeep dealership in Soldotna to get a more professional idea on what is going on. Apparently, Dependable isn't so dependable. Now, we are just so sick and tired of this car and its issues we are trading it in before the first payment for a brand new 2019 Jeep. It's been such a headache. Save yourself the trouble.

As soon as I had parked I spotted a gentleman coming out of the building, this has got to be David I told myself. He came up and shook my hand and introduced himself to my family. He led us over to the vehicle and opened the door for my wife and tossed me the keys, the wife and I joked about his chivalry later but it was a nice change. We loved the test drive and really wanted to get it! When we got back I put my game face on, time to play. David and I fought some verbal judo, I grilled him pretty hard on the vehicle. He was on point with his answers and was very knowledgable. I think we both managed to come away happy from the deal. We went into his office and started the paper work. I came in my first year in Alaska needing more space than I had in my Avalanche and right away Brian Harlow took care of me. Without a second thought they brought me in and took good care of me. I didn't think they would remember me but they did. Chris Gearhart came to my rescue and immediately took control, went out his way and knew what I was looking for. Started out great got a good deal Jared went more than above and beyond to help me out( if you buy then buy from him) on our truck with 0 down, got financed through AKUSA which was fine and dandy except there was a slow leak from 1/4 inch nail in the driver side tire. They said just take it to Johnson and they will patch it and bill dependable for the fix. Well Johnsons wouldn't fix it because the nail is bigger than the size of a pencil (Johnsons tire service policy apparently) so I figure I would use the spare tire under the bed of the truck but the tire and rim were the wrong size altogether. The rimbwas for a ford truck and the tire was for a small size car and dependable wants 500$ to keep the truck when onebtire is upwards of 400 to 500$ for this truck
