I’m from out of town, we were passing through and had our fifth wheel… and our reservation is over in 2 days… I call on Saturday to speak with a very professional Robert. We had a sensor for ESP/BAS go on in our family Jeep on the trip going back home between Texas and to Utah… Everyone else was booked sooo far out, which normally wouldn’t be much of a big deal… but I’m 32 weeks pregnant and need to get back to my home state ASAP. Robert said to bring it right in when we get in town! I was so thankful! He checked up the vehicle, all was well, he offered assistance in the future and tried to be extremely helpful and kind. It will always be a memory I have of Albuquerque and I’ll definitely be returning here for any issues in the future if we are passing back through. Super professional! Super helpful! Not pushy but very knowledgeable and told me what to look out for in the future based on the test screening.

Had an amazing experience buying my husband a car at Zia Auto. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were promptly called to set up a test drive after sending our info via their website and were happy to hear that they all work as one team. Much less pressure! We also came with our own financing, but they helped us get an ever better loan through our credit union. Saved us SO much money. We were also prepared to be there for the long haul. We were amazed at how efficient and fast the whole team is. We were there for maybe two hours, but never once felt rushed or neglected. We will definitely be telling everyone we know about Zia and our great experience. Will also come back if we ever need another vehicle. A++!

Travis was our sales man and he was great! Thank you again Travis. We purchased our car on Saturday 5/22/21. Paperwork was smooth and everyone was helpful. We noticed on Sunday the car has an intermittent hesitation when hitting 20 - 25 miles an hour. I immediately notified Travis of the issue and he suggested I bring the car in on Tuesday. My husband and I researched potential issues with the car and found there was a recall similar to the issues we were having requiring a torque converter replacement and software update. So we scheduled an appointment with Toyota to review for any recalls. Toyota got us in on Tuesday morning and reported back that the issue is with the torque converter and the transmission will need to be replaced, no open recalls for our car. We went immediately back to Zia to let them know what we were told and to see what their thoughts were on the issue we were experiencing. It was suggested it was the way we drive and suggested to try and drive faster as the car might be used to the previous owner. It was also suggested that the transmission be serviced. However according to the documents received from Zia Auto the transmission was already serviced upon inspection. At this point the car is with Zia Auto and has been since yesterday. We are waiting for an update. I am a little nervous as to how this is all going to play out and plan to update this review once it’s all said and done. Stay tuned...my 3 star rating is only 3 starts because of where we are in the process but want to add customer service was great and so far everyone had been super helpful. Update: Everything went great car was fixed within a week and has been running great ever since! Thanks a bunch for everything!

Was in the market for a new used car due to some unfortunate circumstances. The process has been stressful and a bit frustrating. When my family and I happened to come across Zia Auto my initial thoughts were misleading. However, we were greeted with very welcoming staff and the best part they weren’t pushy. The inventory on the lot is of a very high quality and very comparable or better than major dealerships. Upon finding the vehicle that suited my family’s needs and then some. We started the ever dreadful process of paperwork to purchase a vehicle. The entire team came together and made the purchase extremely quick and very comfortable. Taking note of younger children that I had and also tended to them very well. I had one of the best experiences of purchasing a vehicle with Zia Auto. Excellent prices, amazing inventory, and best part, the AMAZING staff!! I highly recommend Zia Auto as I will definitely be a return customer when in the market for a vehicle again.

This was by far, the nicest car dealership we visited. Alondra was amazing. She knew so much about all the vehicles and was so nice and helpful. Travis was great and took a lot of time trying to get us the right deal and the right truck for what we needed. We even got to meet the owner, James. You simply cannot compare Zia to other smaller sized car lots in town. These guys are organized, professional and extremely easy to work with. Alondra contacted me an hour after I submitted my online application and had set expectations on what they needed from me and the process going forward. My car-buying experience with Zia Auto Wholesale went about as smoothly as it could. I did not finance through them, so cannot speak to their efficiency in that area, but the purchase transaction was handled quickly and efficiently. The staff (Davin, Tim, and Erik) whom I dealt with were all courteous and professional, and there was no sales pressure. My sales rep Ina listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle and was patient while we test drove a few of the beautiful cars on the lot. Purchasing my vehicle from Zia Auto was the best car buying experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked onto the lot I felt valued as a customer and my salesman, Eric Madrid was the best salesman I've ever worked with. He made us feel welcome. The car that initially lead me to Zia had been sold the day before, Eric suggested another car and to be honest I was doubtful at first. He really did sale me this car and he did so without being pushy, aggressive, dishonest and rude. I honestly felt like we had been friends for years. This down to earth, courteous, friendly, personable and overall excellent customer service is rare. Before I made the decision to visit Zia I had done my homework about the vehicle and the dealership. Zia had minimal complaints over the many years in business, unlike some other dealerships I researched which I chose not to even visit. The car I bought was actually the first car I saw. I drove it, Eric explained the features and answered my questions, for questions he did not know the answer to he was honest and said so but he also took the time to find the answer. I had my reservations about the car and expressed that to him, he took it in stride but his attitude towards me never wavered. I went home did more research and decided to return to drive the car again. I loved it and bought it. If you truly want to be treated like a valued customer and appreciated and are in the market for a car Zia should be your very first stop. Rafael was my finance contact, he was friendly and outgoing and professional. He explained everything and was patient as I asked questions. I decided to purchase the power train warranty from Zia as opposed to my own lien-holder because it was a much better value. Eric explained that Zia wants to make the car buying experience excellent because they rely on repeat business and I have to admit I will send everyone I know in the market for a car to Zia. I also like the fact that I can take my vehicle to them for routine maintenance and to be serviced. I was treated better by the pretty eyed service guy at Zia than when I went to BMW to purchase an extra key. I'm all about customer service and I am not the easiest consumer to please but Zia has exceeded my expectations. I hope you'll allow them to exceed yours as well. Thanks Eric -- I love my 328i!!

I was able to get my dream car (2011 BMW 135i) AND the exact payment date I wanted AND as close to the monthly payment as promised!!! I love that Zia has two options to assist people with their purchase - if you don't have the credit, you can get approved based on your income. Love that flexibility, as it allows me to rebuild my credit. There was a slight glitch with a sensor and tires BUT Zia (James the owner) took care of me - at no extra out of pocket cost to me. James promised to make it right, and he delivered!!! Thank you, I am breathing easy and enjoying my car. Despite what all the negative reviews said I’m basing my review on customer service and attentiveness. With that said Zia Auto was really on top of their A game. James was a pleasure to work with, and Armando was very helpful and even if he didn’t know the answer he went to go look for it, so I have to give him a A+ because he didn’t try to BS me. I had a little issue with the cars lights, but was rectified with in 24 hours with James, and he lent me a loaner to get back to work, I will write another review on the Auto side of the business.

Great experience like always! My third vehicle from Zia Auto. This time I did my application on line hoping for a faster process in case I liked the truck I wanted. The staff here were fast to contact me to give info and set a time up to come in and test drive the truck. I got off work 430 pm drove over there went on a test drive and loved the truck! My high school graduate-daughter and I had been looking for her first vehicle and had a price limit - other dealers were showing us junk for our price point - I thought I would try Zia Auto cause I had seen their commercials. I drove into their lot - right away I was greeted by a very "down to earth" salesman named John Jimenez. I immediately told him my price limit and he showed me a few nice vehicles in our price range. The first vehicle was super clean, drove excellent, and had a new car feel for a used car. I fell in love with the vehicle, but I didn't have my daughter with me. John offered to drive the car to my house to show my 18 year old. She was shocked that a sales rep would bring a car to her. She fell in love with car as soon as she came outside to see it!!! The rest is history -I made an offer and they accepted! We love our new car and it was great dealing with a nice sales rep and the professional staff at Zia Auto.

Tim Ruiz, general manager, goes above and beyond to work a deal you can't turn down with the best banks, in town. I have worked with several finance managers and Tim does impressive work compared to top dealerships in Phoenix. Eric, finance manager, will give you every detail you need to know about your payments, rates, and gap insurance info. He's very thorough and shows pride in what he does. They all do. The detail team also goes out of there way to make sure your car looks great! Thank you Zia Auto!! I love both of my cars and will definitely return for my next vehicle. This is the by far the best place to buy a car. The staff was very helpful and noligable. I was not pressured in any way and the sales team was able to get me the exact car I wanted (with an extended warranty) for the amount I wanted to spend. Also, about a week after purchase the check engine light went on while I was driving to work. I pulled over and called zia auto. I was surprised that I was able to speak to the owner that early in the morning. He was just as helpful as the rest of the staff and had my car looked over and back on the road by the end of the day. Zia auto will be the first place I look and recommend for buying vehicles from here on.

WOW! What a positive experience buying a vehicle. The whole crew, from the owner to the finance manager to our sales person were professional, supportive and knowledgeable. We walked in the door about 10:00am on a Saturday morning, test drove the truck we were intrested in, struck a Great Deal, arranged financing through Zia Auto...at a Better Intrest Rate than our own credit union...went to lunch, came back, reviewed and signed the paperwork and we were out the door in the new truck a little after 1:00pm. This is a very different environment from many other average run of the mill used car dealers in and around Albuquerque. Nice people doing business in a clean and safe environment speaking to us with respect and no tricky stuff! Buying a really nice truck, With A Real Warranty, from a used car dealer who has their own NAPA GOLD AutoCare Center to pre-inspect, repair and recondition their vehicles prior to purchase AND provide maintenance and warranty repairs after the sale is like having ALL of the benefits and convenience for of buying a used vehicle from a new car Dealer WITHOUT ALL THE HASSLE!! Go in and meet Ina...she will do her best to help get you the vehicle you want. Finally, a car dealer I, and my family, can depend on...I believe you can too. Went in to buy a 2006 4 Runner, left in a 2013 4 Runner. Can't say enough about Travis. I know we drove him crazy with what we wanted and what our terms were, but he went ABOVE and BEYOND to make that happen. From start to finish, he was truly amazing, really nice guy too. Would definitely recommend this place. Lots of great vehicles on the lot. Definitely ask for Travis when you go there. I promise you won't be disappointed. There are so many dealerships and salesman in this city that truly SUCK, not Travis, And not Zia Auto.

So far everything has been great, very nice,. great while signing papers got the kids cartoons to watch. Very nice people. Had to go back due to the SUV I bought had wheel locks on it and the previous owners didn't leave the key with the unit. They took care of all of it for me. Alex was very helpful and had all the paper work set up and ready for me to sign as soon as I got off work. I was in and out, that has never happened at another dealer.

They were professional and courteous. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision on the truck I was looking at. They had the Carfax readily available to look at and it was online for free as well. They also have an 18 page review for you to review of the detailed check they do at their Napa certified auto mechanic shop next door. I was having a little difficulty getting my insurance set up because of some logistics but Ina was nice enough to give me the rest of the day to get it in. I was so close to the wire that I was about to hyperventilate but Ina stayed late to make sure it was entered in. They have been in the business for a long time and it shows!

I've taken a couple of my cars here and have always had a great experience - most recently, we got some bad news that a mystery issue with our vehicle had been diagnosed as a bad head gasket, and was going to cost us over $3k, which we just can't spare for a vehicle that's definitely not worth that much. Zia's got our back though and called us before doing the work, and ended up kindly waiving the diagnostic fee, totally understanding our situation. Crummy as it is that our Jeep's seeing the end of its days, I still came away from Zia feeling positive overall. Thanks especially to Sean for putting up with our many calls this morning, you guys are deeply appreciated!

I had a great experience at Zia today. I had been looking for a car after I totaled my car 2 weeks ago. My car salesman was Trivis and he was great. I first spotted the car on line. The next day Trivia followed up with me. I went in and he had patience and wasn't pushy. I didn't buy that day, but he followed up in a few more days. I was very happy with the experience I had purchasing a vehicle from Zia Autos. I was never pushed to buy which in the past other dealerships made you feel like you were low life if you did not accept their deal. The process did not take long, like other dealers take all day and they will not let you leave until you have signed all paperwork. Zia told me I could leave and when the paperwork is complete they would give me a call. I was surprised I told John (my salesperson) where I wanted my payments. They were able to do that and even lower than what I told them plus no money down and a very low interest rate through a local credit union. I was driving around ABQ looking for a new Vehicle a specific make of Audi. I had test driven Audi's in my price range at other dealers and they had all had something wrong with them. I finally made it to Zia auto, i saw the car i like a 06 Audi S - Line, and i knew i had to have it. Kelli had come out introduced her self and immediately let me take the car on a test drive. When we returned i had told Kelli i needed to talk to my Fiance about the car and we would go from there. I informed the Staff of Zia of my credit situation, and where i needed to be. They went above and beyond to help me get the car in a payment i could afford while still having a little left over. If you read bad things below about the dealer let me just say, when i was there i saw them personally go above and beyond to make a customer happy, and they still were not happy. They even offered to make them some chicken, or go and get them food from across the street because they were hungry. Great people at Zia Autos i would Highly Recommend them over there competition. (there competition will sell you a car that has been totaled without letting you know,_ but they "let there prices do the talking".)

I had purchased a Nissan Pathfinder from Zia on Sept 2012, for Zia was highly recommended from a repeat buyer I knew. I was treated very well, and the vehicle was in excellent condition.The vehicle never gave me any problems. On July 13 2013 I decided to go back to Zia and check out what they had in their inventory for I wanted something in the line of a Escalade. They did have an Escalade, but what caught my eye was a Lincoln Navigator. Alex came out and told him I was interested in the Navigator. He was very nice and cordial, and gave me the full tour on the vehicle. We took it out for a drive and I was sold. I like going to Zia because the vehicles go through points inspection. Alex and the rest of the crew are very friendly and they work with you with no pressure. Alex also gave me courtesy calls after the purchase which I found was really cool if the I was enjoying the vehicle, if I had any concerns, something no other dealer has done to me. I give these guys five stars!

Me and my husband where looking in to purchasing a mini van....my husband found one at Zia that he liked. I summited the application at 9:00am and by 6:30 Pm we picked up our new mini van and drove it home. Our sales person Alex Cordero was great he brought the van all the way to my work so I could look at it. We did let Alex know we are planning a vacation to California and are planning on driving the van instead of renting a car, they went beyond customer service to make sure the van was going to be safe and ready for the trip. Bought a Mercedes around 6 months ago, very helpful. The car had an issue a day after I bought the car and their repair shop was very helpful, didn't fix the issue ( just a warning light) but replaced the part multiple times, was in and out the shop around 6 times but they covered the cost. I don't blame them, but i do recommend to test drive the cars a couple times and to look it over carefully (The fuel door was taped on). The warning light is something i'll have to live with and it's fine, don't impact the car and how it functions, but welcome to the Mercedes family I guess

What a seamless experience! My current vehicle did not meet the needs of our family. We really needed a 3-row vehicle but one that was low enough to the ground that my 81 year old father could easily enter & exit from. This meant NO SUVs and I refuse to drive/own a minivan. We narrowed our search to the Lincoln MKT or Ford Flex. I did my research and found a used MKT on AutoTrader near us in Albuquerque. It was the only one I could find under $20,000 within 300 miles. We made an appointment the following weekend with Ina to view it. Upon arrival at 10 a.m. we were greeted by the owner James. He listened to our needs and then thoroughly explained his companies business model. He then turned it over to Ina who assisted us with the test drive and negotiations for our trade. Erik skillfully completed the financing with a local credit union. All of this was completed in roughly 2 hours and with zero pressure or cornering high sales tactics. I have never been in and out of a car dealer in so little time. Thank you to all at Zia Auto for a very pleasant car buying experience.

Jeffrey and I live in Santa Fe NM a year ago we lost our 2011 Toyota Yaris to a kid texting and driving he smashed our car flat as a pancake We saved over the year our down payment on a placement second car we went to all our new and used dealers we got our toyota new back in 2011 and since then a lot of things changed I went from being the Guadalupe Inns property manager to being a gig economy self-contractor working over 10 different apps we got appoved at Fiesta Nissan for 30K well when the loan company got my proof of income the loan went from 30K to only 11K with strict restrictions on vehicle year type and so on ........... The cars in the inventory didn't meet our needs and we needed a second car because working my work vehicle for both work and personal use over that year was hard on the Ford already we had no choice but to look in The ABQ it was a Thursday evening we went to checkout the new bowling alley on the Lyft ride home I turned to FB looking on the cars for sale and come across Zia Auto sales they had a two Nissan Leafs for sale and this is the car we got approved for at Fiesta Nissan before the o wait your a 1099 ? ? ? From the loan company this is the car we wanted that we needed I emailed them and in detail explained What was going on with our situation? The Lyft dropped us off at 8PM as I sent the email about 10:30 PM I got a email back from Zia Auto Sales I was in shock I didn't expect a response for days let alone Corresponding over email that night with them we went over everything and we were asked to send our application and documents I was like that was cool and I Expected I'd hear from them Monday or Tuesday the next Morning as I was getting breakfast for the Humane Society desk staff it was Jeffrey's Friday to take breakfast I get a call from Ina Once again, I was utterly shocked I knew right there and then I found a dealer that was going to work hard and get us into our EV no matter what we set up a appointment for Saturday it was Jeffrey weekend to work so I went with my mom Ina showed me the Nissan Leafs and she started the paperwork and we set up a appointment for Monday when Jeffrey was off on Monday morning she said she was still trying to find a loan company for the leaf but as we already knew it was hard cause of my 1099 status she had offers for us on 4 cars that she got funding for just in case she couldn't get the EV Financed she and the Zia team spent all day long working not only on Us but multiple customers it was already Dinner time and We were out eating at El Modelo Tortilla Factory talking about the 4 cars and Ina calls for us to come on back in when we got there she had very good news she got us funded on the leaf Jeffrey and I were very happy we knew how hard they had to work as we had already been going though this for a month with every car dealership in SF Zia Auto Sales did what no one else could do !!!!! I had a outstanding experience buying a used vehicle from Zia Auto. I had been looking at trucks to pull a 32 foot travel trailor. Everything in my price range was high milage and not so good looking. When I spotted a late model GMC Suburban 2500 SLE on their website I was skeptical because it only had 107.000 miles on it and looked to be in great condition but went into expecting the same thing I was running into at other places Not so great condition and the high milage. I picked my Dad up(GM Retirey) to go take a look at the suburban. Upon arriving we were met in the lot by Kelly Medina. She let my Dad and myself look it over real good and we were both impressed that the picture on Zia' s Website was pretty accurate. Great Shape for a late model GMC vehicle.. Kelly informed us that it had already gone through a rigourous inspection at Pete' s Garage which is right behind Zia' s. Next we took a test drive. Beautiful ride for a big old beast. Next we met Larry who at first stood back and let Kelly do the selling. Once Larry knew we wanted that beast he stepped in and congratulated myself on the purchase. Kelly in the mean time already had printed the Carfax and wow Two owner vehicle and the milage was correct. I was to pick the vehicle up the next morning, When I got there they had washed it real good the paper work was already in order, Emmisions were also done. It was a very simple cared for purchase. My husband and I were in the market for a good quality SUV with a 3rd row seat. We live in Santa Fe and didn't really want to deal with buying a vehical in Albuquerque because in the past, buying a vehical took us a couple days and a few trips to the dealership. We saw an ad in a car magazine with a couple options we might be interested in at Zia. It was a Sunday and we had to be in town anyway so I called to see if they were open and if they had the vehical in question. Alex answered and was very helpful in giving us directions to the lot. When we got there, he greeted us with a warm smile and hand shake. (we didnt feel like we were being bombarded by a cocky, out for your money salesman.) Alex was very knowlegable and directed us to exactly what we told him we were looking for in a car. It was also nice to hear about all the inspections they put the vehicals through before they even see the lot. Plus, they offer a 5 yr/ 100K mile warranty and it wasn't expensive. (100K miles on top of whatever the vehical already has on it) When it came time to do the paperwork, Alex set my kids up with cartoons and snacks while we got down to bussiness. He and his finance department got us an awsome interest rate and payment. Being Sunday, the process took a little longer then it usually does there because the banks aren't open, but honestly, it was the shortest wait we EVER experianced when buying a car. We had to leave a bit of paperwork undone until Monday when the bank was open but Alex drove up to meet us in Santa Fe so that we would not be inconvenienced. Overall, the whole process only took about 3 hours total. We are blown away by how simple and enjoyable Alex and the rest of the staff at Zia made buying our vehical. We will definately be back in the future and send all our family and friends there as well.

So my problem is with the maintenance of the vehicle after they acquired it. The vehicle was a company car for a corporation so it had great full maintenance records. Before I even made my first payment I had to fill my antifreeze. Luckily my car told me that I needed to or I could have been caught in a horrible situation. My first oil change was today and I haven’t even made my second car payment, which it being a high mileage used vehicle I can understand. Then the tech tells me there’s no gasket on my oil tank (idk if I said that right) but it was the reason I had been leaking oil- which isn’t cool either. I had to have a filter replaced as well within one month of having the vehicle. So yea... 3 stars because I got what I wanted even though all the Communication and service I expected from a company that boasts decades of years in business didn’t really come to full fruition like I’d hoped.
