My family and I were passing through and we had a break down on our pickup about 900 miles from home, The service team was courteous and professional. Brain was up front from the start and and gave me a couple updates while the service team was working. Turns out it was an electrical issue on a sensor connection- three hours and we were back on the road. Forever great full.

It was interesting comparing 2 Melloy dealerships. We just bought a truck after Christmas. That experience was 10s all around. This experience was what I expected since I simply drove onto the lot without an appointment or any online conversations. The salesman, Michael, was enthusiastic, professional, and listened to what I was looking for in terms of an SUV. The Pathfinder pretty well sold itself. I saw one thing that gave me pause and Michael quickly made seat adjustments accordingly; no more issue. I did not feel too much pressure from Michael and things were going well. Eventually, we met John Melloy and then things took a turn in terms of pressure. He encouraged us to take a second test drive in a different color vehicle, which was a good idea, but when we returned, he said he NEEDED us to drive the Pathfinder home that night because he already had interest. I did not believe this nor did I appreciate the tactic. I wanted to drive my current vehicle home to take my time to clean it out etc. I had already been there longer than expected and was tired. I also made it clear if they needed to check my credit I needed notice to unfreeze it. I was paying cash, BUT if I wrote a personal check they had to check credit which was not true. I did some homework; nor was it the case at Melloy Dodge. Just saying... Regardless, getting a cashiers check in the morning delayed things, but worked out fine. I was NOT happy driving home an unfamiliar car in the dark either. There was an issue, but I got it worked out. Ronnie the finance guy was easy to work with and made the closing out experience pleasant. I would definitely return to Michael as a sales rep. I enjoyed his positive-can-do attitude. He was delightful, personable, and knowledgeable. On another note, Amy was another plus. this is the first time we ever encountered a separate person, whose sole job was to go over every button on the car and help with apps etc. Amy was VERY thorough, professional, personable, and knowledgeable.

Bought a Nissan Leaf here. Worked closely with JC for our sales and he was excellent - very responsive, very friendly, super knowledgeable about the car. There was some delay on delivery of the vehicle that was outside of the dealership's control, they kept in great touch and helped me out with a nice rental to cover the interim period. They also helped me get a great rate with a local credit union for financing. Super happy with my experience here and will definitely be returning for future car purchase needs.

We shopped almost every car lot in ABQ trying to decide what exactly we wanted.....we returned to Melloy for a few reasons: the lifetime warranty is a great feature, and Melloy offers it exclusively to it's customers; Nissan's reputation for quality and reliability sells itself........everybody knows a Nissan will run forever! Finally, and most importantly for us, the thing that brought us back to Melloy were our sales reps....Jason and Michael. After talking with countless sales reps over the course of two weeks time, we realized our outlook was becoming more a feeling of defeat.....except that we kept wanting to go back and see our Nissan guys one more time....we realized that they were the only ones that didn't make us feel rushed, they didn't become hostile towards us for not making a purchase in 20 minutes time or wanting the vehicle they told us we needed....they respected our process and our need for time, and they worked hard to show us everything we wanted to see......most importantly for us was simply that they were NICE!! Jalen and Mike the service manager, were super nice and provided me a car to drive while they worked on mine. I would not take my car anywhere else. I was disappointed that I had to pay for another seal on the transfer case, only because they put a new transmission in June. And another seal on the transfer case In September which was no charge. This seal was further up and cost over 2,200. It's a lot of money for me on a limited income.

I have been a loyal customer here since 2017 and love my Titan XD. I had a bad experience last year involving customer service for a collision repair (not related to the Service Dept.). Anyway I had to take my truck in for some routine service and to replace a piece of trim due to the work done last year. Jed Glaser, the service adviser, got me in and went over and above with the repairs and maintenance items. I had some additional items I wanted to have checked, like an oil leak. I was right at the end of my warranty, but Jed took care of what would have been an expensive job of replacing an oil pan and covered it under warranty. Both Jed and Mike Anderson, the service manager are great people to work with. After the collision repair experience, the Service Dept. went over and above expectations to make it right, even a year later.

I was never advised of additional maintenance until an email received two days later. All work I requested was not done when I picked up the vehicle, when I pointed it out to the tech, he immediately offered a car wash and had the additional repair completed. I had purchased a prepaid package deal but I received a text advising me that I owed money, I paid it but when I went to the service desk I asked why I was charged a fee, since I had already prepaid ( repair order #568944,) I was advised that I had erroneously been charged and a refund (which has not been credited to my bank account) would be issued. Afterwards, my right front tire said it was low on pressure so I took it back and they found nothing wrong with the tire and simply had to put more air into it. Mike Anderson called me back the same day, and asked me to bring the car by the dealership so he could check all the tires, as well as the spare. The experience was as expected for what I took it in for, other than that not so much. I took it in for warranty work on ABS as well as a Judder code, both of those were corrected to my satisfaction. The issue I had was on the "inspection" they did to see if I had any other issues. One issue that came up critical was that my battery tested bad, they said it had to be replaced. We had not had any starting issues with it up to then, the service advisor said it would have to be jump started if we picked it up. I went ahead and had it replaced but I still find it hard to believe the battery just suddenly died at the shop. I have another car, same battery in for 11 years, no issues. One of the reasons I am skeptical is because another recommended service after the inspection was to replace my air filter. If they would have taken the 30 seconds it takes to remove the air filter they would have seen that it had just been replaced, two weeks ago, so this goes to show me they did not inspect it. This is the reason Dealer service gets such a bad rap. How can I trust anything you tell me? If it needs warranty repair I will take it back to you, for anything else I will take it to my trusted local mechanic.

What a wonderful staff you have at Melloy Nissan! After finding my car would not start and needing a tow, it was quite comforting to deal with Brett when I arrived at the dealership just 30 minutes before closing. He was kind and considerate and explained very clearly what my car might need (possibly a $800 repair). Furthermore he promised to keep me updated regularly. What I didn't and couldn't expect was a call the next morning telling me they had reassessed the car and my bill would be hundreds lower. I also received a thorough checkup, and was given a list of suggested maintenance and a free car wash. What is more, Brett arranged transport for me to my home, and from my home the next morning. Isaac Griego helped me through two months of working out the kinks with my vehicle and he was phenomenal. His customer service is off the charts amazing. He did everything to make sure that the issue finally got resolved and bent over backwards to help me. Any time that I needed something he would help me. I bought my 2nd car in 2008 (I believe) and recently gifted it to my daughter. It's still in descent running condition and didn't give me major issues. I recently got rear-ended and needed a car. Scheduled service to diagnose service engine light and rough idle. Inspection revealed misfires on cylinder 1. My advisor recommended replacing the ignition coil, but said they did not have parts. I could not leave the car with them until the part arrived, so I picked up my truck. When doing so, I checked with the parts department and they *did* have 3 ignition coils for my truck. I purchased them and an intake manifold gasket and did the repair myself. 1) I would have preferred to let the service team do it, but a miscommunication about their inventory suggested that they did not have the parts when they in fact did have them. 2) A short time before this visit I was offered a $25 coupon for any service by email. In all the confusion, I forgot to mention it when I paid my bill. It was not offered to me at checkout. So, I strongly suggest that promotions for service discounts be communicated to the cashiers so they can be offered even if the customer forgets.
