Meramac is a nice campground that’s convenient location wise. Nice sites. Lots of sites to choose from. I do not understand why they were using the chainsaw at 7:30 am to cut down trees while they had campground guests. Quiet curfew should be until at least 8 am. Otherwise, no complaints.

I believe it is 2 or 3 campgrounds. Park is huge, campgrounds spread around. Very nice, spacious, green. Hot Showers, laundry. Not many trails. It us very family oriented park.

Such a great family friendly campground. The bathrooms were nice. Playground was awesome. Hikes walkable from the campground. We absolutely loved this camping experience!

I haven't visited the whole park but what I saw was great! We loved how clean the shower house was and how nice the playground was by the site. We also love the trails and caves you can go too while you are there

I feel like I found a pot of gold with this campsite! Even had friendly visitors during the night trying to raid the pantry! Keep your stuff locked up or you will have some full raccoons sleeping near by!

We have camped here a week. Camp sites are a little close together. Weekend was busy of course. Trails were in good shape. States everywhere need to spend some money and labor to repair steps on the trails. Note to campers, "we do not go camping to hear your dog/dogs bark" ... Thank you Missouri State Park for our enjoyable time spent here.

The park is really nice, but the campsites are right on top of each other. There are showers and real bathrooms, river access, playgrounds, picnic tables, BBQ pits and pavilions, but on a busy weekend, it's like tent city 😕 …

Me and a friend stayed here late September 2020 and it was lovely! Lots of easy to access campsites, clean shower house with flush toilet and showers. Very green and lush and we saw a family of deer hanging around! We were there a weeknight the last week of September and it was very quite, only a few others there, but that may have had to do with the timing/ time of year. We bought wood at the entrance when we checked in, not the best for fires as it wasn't too dry yet but it did the trick.

Visit atleast once a year, great camp ground with great staff. Playground for the kids, clean restrooms, pet friendly, river access.

Clean place to camp. No water on most of the sites, so be sure to fill your tanks when you come in. Shower houses normally stay clean. Dump station gets a traffic jam if leaving on a common pullout day. You can dump at the loves up the road if you dont want to wait in line.

Beautiful park and would go again if in the area if not the the BUT below. Site was flooded so we were able to just take any other open site. BUT>>>>>> The road down to the campground is very narrow and curvy for larger campers. If you were to meet another camper in the opposite direction there is no way to safely get over.

Camp sites are VERY close together and small. Quiet hours need to be enforced more rigidly, people and their kids are trying to sleep...kinda hard when music is blasted and 3/4 of the park can hear it.

I stayed here overnight in 19' travel trailer. The camp host was friendly and helpful. My spot was level and good spacing between campers. The area was beautiful, surrounded by trees and hills. There was even a cave that you could explore on the campground. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there wasn't a sewer hookup but, they do have a dump station. It was also very inexpensive and no charge to enter the park. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Meramec State Park :)

Restrooms were clean. The area is so beautiful and we also had little animal visitors. Keep your food locked in your car or in your RV folks.

Park presentation is very educational. Plenty of room between campsites for camping games. Level sites. Shady. Great bird watching especially the hummingbird ❤️.

Raccoons! Raccoons everywhere once the sun sets, they aren't very afraid of people either so I'm sure people feed them. We stayed next to the woods so they harassed us all evening, but they do go into the middle of the sites too. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms/showers aren't very centrally located but mostly clean.

Our 5 day stay was during the week. It was a beautiful and quiet stay with access to 3 shower houses and river floating, hiking, cave exploration and more. Several deer families graze and sleep in the meadow of the campground and are a beautiful sight. Location is close to a town should you need necessities. We are looking forward to coming back to visit soon.

Been camping here since I was a child (to long ago to say, ain't giving up my age, lol). But have greater appreciation for it in the last 10 years. Especially since I became disabled. They do have great handicapped sights. Love going to camp/float as much as possible during the warmer months.

Great place. Terrible outhouse... could have used a little more weekly maintainence.... Wish Fisher cave was open, otherwise staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful big campground, lots of trees, only downside is it is very wet in spots after a big rain. And being a Mo state park only 2$ discount for seniors.

Camp sites are great and shaded. Maybe a bit better pathing to the swim beach and some bouys in the river to mark it as such so that folks with speed boats slow down.
