Conflicted about this campsite. On one hand it was well maintained, cool views and right on the lake. On the other hand, you can hear the road noise from I-80 all night, the marina often put out a bad smell, and the instructions on how to come and go from the site after hours were not clear. We also experienced some very large wind gusts both nights. Making it impossible to sit outside and enjoy the view, or a have a campfire. I guess if you have a large RV and enjoy sitting in it, this site might be good for you. Otherwise, I might find a more suitable campsite nearby.

Small campground located right on salt lake...good for a overnight. String smell and lots of little brine flies.

This place is awesome. The one star reviews complaining about the gate being closed didn't read the website info. You can get in whenever; just have to call and get the gate code. I think it makes it feel exclusive, lol. It's beautiful here, and yeah it's has "a smell" it's a salt lake...it's not bad, just not what you might be used to. I have heard bugs can be an issue here...just come in the spring before they do! The weather is mild and it's so peaceful. Can't wait to come back again soon :) ❤️

Convenient camping location if you are passing through SLC or headed to the airport. We used this as our last stop before flying back home. The smell of the marine (very shallow water, if any) is quite strong, but it does not interfere with the views. We hope this campground continues to get some traffic as the water levels continue to decline. Bathroom/Showers were very clean.

I pretty place. Unfortunately there was bugs. For $5. To the park and Can't beat it $20. for dry camping.

There is only 5 campsites so peaceful and so quiet. Each have water and electricity hookup. You are right on top of each other but overlooks the lake, can't beat the view! It was very nice to be a close drive j to town yet away from the hussle of the city! Super affordable for a family of 8 to enjoy a wonderful time playing in the gorgeous salt lake!! Highly recommend!!

We went tent camping on the beach. Lots of fun but we should have brought lots of changes of clothes for us and the kids. Played a lot in the sand and lake even though it is beginning of April
