Reviews of Haworth Park
Missouri Riverside sight is worth spending time in the evening. Park trails are closed for the time being. However one can take a walk on the other side of the park, which is American Heros Park.
Very Nice owners, and quick to pay and get a spot. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked with hand soap etc. I have a 30amp and water hookup. With no problems.
We love camping here. Their public bathrooms aren’t working yet but the place is looking great. I’m sorry the only picture I took was of our new camper. I’ll get a picture of the park next time. Roger has the place looking good.
The Flood Waters have gone down Significantly. However there is so much damage..... it's Heartbreaking to see.
But on a brighter note, at neighboring Hero's Park....the Flags and Memorial are Standing Nebraska Strong
Wonderful place to camp. Nestled on the Missouri river in Bellevue, Nebraska. Haworth has a nice little fishing pond to take the kids to. There is also a 9.5 mile long biking/walking trail. This campground also has a large playground area for kids. Across the street from Haworth is another park with a large fish g pond and another hiking trail.
We didn’t camp here but it is a nice area. Quiet and pretty. They do NOT accept tent camping. I don’t know if that’s just currently of permanently but we were disappointed.
Bellevue Rocks is awesome! A perfect place to have this event!
Our stay at Haworth Park was perfect. The hosts were responsive, the sights were so roomy and private. We will stay there any time we go to Bellevue. I’m looking forward to exploring the trails there. Thank you for a great stay.
Used to camp there often years ago until the flood of 2019 destroyed it. Camping the park is under new management and the owner is slowly restoring the camping area. It is open, with some water and electricity on site. I don't believe rhe dump station is operational yet, so you'll have to dump your tanks elsewhere.
I'm guessing you're not really supposed to wander around in here since they closed it after the flooding. Regardless, great place to get some sunrise photos
We stayed here for 3 nights as we were in town for an event. We didn't spend much time at the campground, but I can tell you it was quiet, as we'd hoped it would be. Upon our arrival, the manager (owner?) approached us. We informed him we'd reserved and payed online. He was then quick to let us know, under no uncertain terms, that there was absolutely NO tolerance of dumping, including grey water. We'd also seen that on their website while researching that particular park. And just to be sure we understood, he went on further telling us that they'd garnish our paychecks to pay the fine for dumping, as well as having a member of law enforcement in the family. We felt as though we'd just been read the riot act without having a chance to do anything wrong, since we'd just arrived less than 15 minutes earlier. But despite all of that, it was a decent place to stay for a couple of days. They are working on getting things "put back together" after the floods and if they aren't quite so intimidating to arriving campers, they may have a successful park once again. Be advised that at this time there is only water and electric hook up. No bath houses, but well maintained port-a-potty's are present. No internet available either.
Its a fun place if you like long walking. It's got a nice fishing spot and it's near a lake that's very beautiful at sunset (you can also fish at the lake). For a more challenging walk, walk along the river. It'll take you through rough terrain, but its fun.
Lots of flat open land, and perfect for your dog.
The grounds are awesome. Nice walking trails. Infrastructure is recovering from a recent flood. No septic hook-ups or dump on site. Great place to stay for a day or 2.
Nice campground with very spacious sites. Most sites appear to be level and have both water and electric.
The host is extra here very friendly sites are clean and will maintain Nice place close to home
Since the new person (Mr. Windsor) took over the lease the park has been slowly improving and looking much better! The sunrises there are also amazing!
Much more spacious and park-like than your typical private RV park. Lots of walking along the river or walk to old town Bellevue, cycling path scheduled to open in August 22, ride your bike all the way to downtown Omaha.
I used to charter the BELL OF BROWNSVILLE for about 6 years and 4-5 times a year. My music Store Olde Towne Music Bellvue held Bellevue's first EARTH DAY EVENT IN HAWORTH PARK IN BELLEVUE. I ALSO STARTED MUSIC DOWN BY THE RIVER. I MISS THE PEOPLE THAT WE'RE MY STUDENTS AND CUSTOMER'S. THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN BELLEVUE ARE GREAT 👍 …
Clean, level concrete pads, dumping station and beautiful path on the river.
Nice park but people should really pick up after their dogs I know we do,Not that we want to but out of respect for the park and People!! Please pick up your dog's droppings. Thank you
The campground is seasonal, so is shut down until sometime in the spring. There is playground equipment for children, walking and biking paths, and a boat ramp for those wishing to try their luck on the Missouri River. Lots of water fowl, a few eagles make their nests in trees along the banks of the river. This time of year it's very peaceful, a good place to reflect.
Honestly love it. Even if it was flooded it’s still amazing considering the history it’s been through. It’s a cute little place to stay for a bit if you like to walk near the riverbed. The view is amazing too let’s be honest.
The new parking lot and sidewalks are really nice! The construction isn't finished yet, but its already a good place to walk or just spend some quiet time. I run RC cars there when it's not busy.
Had a perfect site for a great price!! Came here for our family reunion and to go to the zoo. Decided to stay an extra day. Bathrooms were not kept up and fire pit was full of garbage and ash. No fire wood on site but not too far away. Overall, would stay again.
In my personal opinion I think this is a great campsite and I like camping at Winsor Cove and it’s pretty nice place
I wish there were just a few more sitting in shade options. Otherwise it was great
Park is being restored has water and power hookups. Currently the sewer is being reinstalled. Nice owners next to Missouri river.
We usually just drive slowly through the park. It was devastated by flooding and only now beginning to be recovered.
It's great to simply drive down to look at the Missouri River
I would love it more if it was not still under water!!!. I do not think she will come back this time though. She has neen underwater to long and there wasn't much left to start with. Thanks t the Stormchasers and Royals at least the sports fields may be salvaged.
Haworth Park in Bellevue is a location for perennial Missouri River flooding. When it's dry, the fun abounds. When wet, it's a mess. It seems that a new company is in charge of the park now, so I'm anxious to see what is done to put the fun back in it.
Nice place to walk. To bad the flooding is still bad
Across the other side of the bridge is new and improved Heroes Park. Wide walkways and lots of sidewalks winding around the beautiful lake. Fishing is allowed ...or walking thru the Woodlands area thru the boy scout trails. Dogs are allowed...on leash... bicycles...kite flying...fishing...picnics!
Wide open area for RV's. Water connection took 3 25 foot hoses for my site. Nicely maintained park with helpful park hosts.
Camped here twice. Seems to have plenty of spots. Free unsecure wifi. Camping spots a bit close together. Lots of flat trails to walk/ bike ride. Near Missouri River, nice view. Boat ramp. City water hookups. Both times we were there, police were called to site. Once with a rescue squad so it was a medical emergency. Second time it was a very loud drunken argument about 1 AM with a lot of 4 letter words (which my teen grandsons found entertaining). Police stopped it very quickly. Most people keep to themselves and don't bother anyone.
Rather noisy. Restrooms were closed due to vandalism. Not great.
Hayworth still not fixed after flood. Go to park across the street. Plenty of walking paths. Great place to ride a bike for kids. Plenty of parking.
The campground host was super nice and very, very helpful. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the river. Would have been nice to have a sewer hook-up, but overall great experience and great host.
Walked my dog there 5 miles every day. Clean, beautiful view of the Missouri River. Offutt AFB close by, can watch our vets in training landing and taking off.
Very nice setting. Not too crowded. Everyone adhered to the distance requirements and masks. The park is well kept and clean.
Very nice place, recovering from flood damage, mostly 30 Amp some 50 Amp. Few water outlets, visited in 38ft motorhome
First time going, and I loved it! Would have been better if it wasn't so wet, but definitely not disappointed! The sunset was amazing!
My son passed away it was his favorite place. I go there to talk to him feed ducks talking to him and God crying wishing I could have my baby back. Jesus jr 8/21/86-2/2/19 I miss you so much <3
Legend has it once every 3 years or so this place isn't flooded and you can actually visit it for a week. During that time it's quite nice.
Was by the Missouri River so that was nice. Play ground for kids. And others were there to camp and it was a quiet place to camp.
Trees were small so no shade!
I had a great time at the Celtic Festival this Saturday. Too bad Mother Nature had other plans for the weather. The bouncy obstacle course was a great idea.
Drove by on a nice day and was surprised that many of the trees are gone. Flooding in recent years has taken its toll.
Will be 5 stars once the showers are reopened.
Haworth Park is a very nice park . The only problem with the park is when the mo. River gets up to high the park gets flooded . Haworth Park has free WI-FI And it is excellent . Range on the Wi-fi is exceptional.
Roger is working very hard to get the camp ground back like it used to.Way to had a real great stay!
This park has been a staple since my childhood. It unfortunately floods about once annually, and with severe flooding it will stay closed through the season. It has a boat entrance to the river.
The park is under construction , no showers or sewer hookups but still charge premium for water and electric spots
Nice park but it's totally flooded right now. I wonder if it will ever open again.
Went there for baseball game. Very clean
Great park!
Quite which is great if your wanting some where to go just to relax
only down fall is there's not really anything to do for kids
The park is well maintained.
Joe Nichols was a great show. Clean park and pet friendly.
Glad to see it up and running. Good to see RV's keeping the place busy.
I love Haworth Park the trail never seems to be too busy the people that ride bikes on this Trail are very courteous
great place and run by the city...
Professional and put to gether nicely.
Calm beautiful great for a walk ,really nice place, a perfect time for families.
Currently closed. We have enjoyed camping there in the past. Didn't know how many stars to give. I am concerned if it will reopen.
Great park, nice place to walk or run trails.
Really nice but not a whole lot of seating. I give it four stars.
Very clean with lots of space. The fountain is very nice.
Good sized sites. Nice and clean. Pretty quiet for a busy weekend. Not enough 50 amp sites.
Solid baseball fields and play ground equipment with tennis courts 😊nice walk to the Missouri River & new lake / soccer / football fields. …
A fine place to camp, picnic, go boating or to take your family for a day in the park.
Great views on the river. Had a great time fishing. Nice place to take the family.
Nice Park, you can camp, hike, walk, run the trail behind it, fish, have full facilities bathrooms with showers.
Nnot very pretty after the flood but the kestone trail ends here
Asphalt pads, electric and water hook ups. BUT a lack of trees, the pads are below grade all of the one way roads are a negative.
Its looking better still needs some loving though
Nice park to walk your dog and picnic, boat ramp to boat the river for the day and not mess with crowded boat ramps
Great quiet place. Reasonable rates. Host is very accommodating
They have cleaed it up, repaved the road and RVs are welcomed.
Pretty, good camping accommodation, only could be a little noisy, three trains went by during the night
Nice place to put boat in.
Hayworth park is underwater. And may never be used as a park again. Floods all the time now.
Love it. Hope they plant more trees on the trial side and by the river.
Nice place to walk, walking trails, fountain, nature trail, lake
Nice family park for birthday parties, good camping location, close to grocery and gas stores.
It's an awesome place to see the mighty Missouri River I had a blast
Open and spacious, playground, camping, great space for open activities. Also an on site recycling bin(s).
Wish they would fix it up a little better , after the floods it's just not the same BUT love RiverFest
I loved it got to hang out also good spot maybe romantic
It’s changed drastically since the flooding but the new additions are nice.
Love this park but it's currently under water
Nice quiet place to walk when it's not under water
It's still flooded but one can access the bike trail.
I just play softball here. The only issue is the river floods every couple of years.
Great place to fish when it's not too crowded
Love to bring my kiddos!!! Walking, fishing, playground, camping lots more
You have trails, the view, campground, the river, everything in one place, love it!
Nice place to go and relax by the river.
It's nice lot of people go
They need to work on a drainage system. There's no where for the rain water to go
Riverfest 2016 was awesome! Fun for all ages.
A better place to walk one's dogs in Bellevue, NE does not exist.
Nice, quiet place but the grass is extremely long.
Good ball park & my kids enjoy the hot dogs.
