Super serene. Nice and clean. I enjoyed my time until the horrible sun burn I inflicted upon myself 😆.. took the kids and went camping, the one and only thing I did not enjoy was the smell of the river.. it's not the greatest, but over all this camp site is amazing!! 10/10 …

Renaissance faire here in April! It was good. Nice people and fun joust. Definitely worth a trip but the food wasn’t the best sorry you all were so nice but food was mediocre at best.

Nice little gem!! I wish we could've stayed longer. The staff was super helpful during an emergency. My step kid played around with the camp shower and burned himself, but the staff helped us conduct first aid as my kit want prepared for burns (all of us have fire safety training... But not stupid small children trained) Nestled right along the river, I wish we could've stayed for the music festival

I’ve been staying at river west, now elkhorn shores for the last 5 years through the summer. I’ve celebrated 3 years of birthdays there and plan on next year as well. The grounds have been through a lot of changes with the flood and the change of ownership but they are always working on making it better! They’ve held amazing concerts and events over the years making it a community space for many. Anytime I show up on the land I’m overcome with a feeling of calm and excitement for the weekend to come. Consider staying at Elkhorn shores for your next escape from reality :)

A nice campground location recovering from a record flood. The owner Bill and his people are down to Earth friendly folk that are still working to get the Park back to its full glory. We had a nice visit in a very shaded water and electric site. The place was packed on Labor day weekend and we stayed for the full week prior. The staff and management ensured we had everything we needed.

Good campground, very friendly staff. They seem to run a tight ship while staying out of your hair. Know how to park your rig, the turnarounds can be pretty tight.

the time i got here was after a big flood but everything still worked awesome. It is a good property, probly good haunted house at halloween (bloodrush i believe). outdoor shower though (not a problem) warm water.

The park is awesome and so is the staff. The manager on duty Epi was sweet and very accommodating. Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing weekend and will definitely be back!

In spite of being extremely busy due to the Halloween event, they found a way for us to squeeze in anyway and made our stay worthy of repeating. Thank you especially to Angie and Epi!

4.5 Stars! I like this campground because of the beach and good fishing spots for the boys. We have gone several times and always have a good time. Would be nice if the port-a-potty was emptied more often during the busy season. I would recommend paying online so you have your own record. When we were accidentally overcharged, Bill was quick to make it right.

Absolutely wonderful vibes at this park! The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean and the river access and beach are awesome!

Great place to escape and enjoy yourself! Wonderful and fun events. Adults can be adults. Outside showers with port-o-pots through out. Great beach access to the river. Great experience watching movies with a fire pit. Highly recommended!!

This is hands down the best place to camp. Super nice staff, well kept grounds and plenty of activities Spring, Summer and Fall. I rent a spot in the Fall for their Camp Fear seasonal event and it is a blast every year. Huge shoutout to Bill Novak! Thanks for making memories for my friends and family.

Was great! Staff were amazing, So friendly, So very helpful and kind. Our dogs loved it as well. It was nice and quiet at night, except for the trains which is awesome though because that's all part of camping and country livin! Our neighbors in the rv part were so awesome as well, we even did a float with one family that wasn't from around here! Our other neighbors sat around our fire and talked and laughed! Great place! Will defiantly be back!!!! Thanks again River West for such a great experience!

We went here to tube down the Elkhorn river and camp to celebrate my friend heading out to basic training for the Navy! The manager, Bill, is absolutely phenomenal. He was very kind and extremely patient. We had a large group of 12-18 college kids. The atmosphere was also really fun. We spent the evening hanging out with other campers at other campsites. The night was a total blast.

I work for Tops Tents and Rentals and do alot of business with the Bill at river west park. I have always enjoyed working with him. He is a great person to work with. While my experience with him has always been on a professional level, I you can bet that he will ALWAYS take care of anyone having any kind of event here. I strongly encourage you to spend some time there.

I wasn't really sure about this place when we first got here but I was very impressed with the owner and the people who work for him. They are all very nice and are working hard to bring this campground back from a really bad flood. The owner even made sure we were able to watch the Nebraska game. I would come back here again. I felt very welcome.

Fantastic! My fiance and I love going to camp fear. It's a great place to spend an evening in the fall. It is well lit enough that you aren't stumbling in the dark, but not so bright that you are bothered by it. I definately reccomend it for a date night

My friends and I rented two places and the owner Bill made sure that our spots were together so that we can set up our pop up campers. The manager on duty Matt when we arrived was very helpful and told us where everything was. One of our pop up needed some support due to one of the lines breaking so my bff’s fiancé and his friend along with the manager Matt assisted in setting up our pop up. There was music playing and there was also a large screen playing a movie. For a first time camper it was a really great experience and it was a clean campsite.

Laid back place, minimal bathroom/shower situation, pretty surrounding and the staff was nice and very helpful. There's a soccer complex very close by so Sat/Sun mornings bring some noise in the right season. We would go back!

I had my bachelorette party out there this past weekend, and it was everything I could've expected. Bill and his team are amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed and that we had fun. My best camping experience yet solely based on the work of his team. I highly recommend this place to anyone

I stayed here when 311 was in town celebrating the 20th anniversary of Grassroots. We drove from Colorado, and my brother met us from Illinois. It was a blast. We hung out with the owner, and gave him some leftover Godfathers pizza. They had movie night on the big screen. It's usually a Disney, or Pixar for the kids. It is definitely a campground for people that want to stay up late and drink. My camp neighbor thought it was funny to wake everyone up with a bullhorn at 0700 when most people passed out at 0200-0300 hrs, but other than that it was an awesome time. I recommend grabbing your beers and floating down the river. Have a day party on the sand bars with people you've never met. Don't forget the sunblock.

So much to offer and there's always something going on. Its a great place to schedule a company outing or even a small get together. I highly recommend taking a tube down the river with uncle Scott's outfitters.

Really enjoyed going out west to find camp fear. I brought my dog, not sure if dogs are allowed, but i sat by a camp fire infront of the z bunker and friends took care of the boy, while i went into the haunt. Z bunker got me good. Got over my fear of zombies and haunts at the same time. Also good parking and clear singage.

Totally AWESOME!! Between South BEACH camping, River floats on the Elkorn River, outside moves, Live music, and all the upcoming Fall Event: Camp,FEAR, Blood Rush, .....There is always lots of fun to be had! And its BYOB!!!

It’s located on a river side and I have been there for my photo shooting assignment. I was really expecting more to photography but didn’t really happen cuz it’s a really small place but I believe this place is good for camping and having a birthday/prom/ wedding organization because it has some equipments to get help for your event. ( instead of this park I suggest Platte River State Park)

Was just passing through Omaha and the KOA was full so decided to spend the night here. Wish we actually spent more time here because of all the cool things they offer like floating the river and kayaking. They even have a beach on the river! Glad we stayed here instead and would highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time here! Yes you need to check the website for which type of atmosphere you would like. We went on a family weekend and they showed movies and the host/owner Bill was so great! We are definitely going back for more fun!

This is THE BEST campground if you are looking for a fun atmosphere! It's not your average park and has exceptional staff. I highly recommend going to a music festival on these grounds!

Everything about this park rocks. Camping, grilling, river tubing, fire pits and an ample amount of portapottys throughout the park. Bill the owner and his crew keep the place tidy and safe.

To: Riverwest Park I wonder if this operation has taken into consideration the huge chicken plant going in upstream. It will have two lagoonsthe larger one will be 10 acres. At 350,000 chickens/day it does make me wonder.

Great location by the river and friendly staff. Whenever we had a problem they were quick to respond. Would definitely recommend and come back to visit again someday.

like it...was pretty cheap, and the staff was helpful even tho we got there at about 930 PM....It was a Thursday night so pretty quiet, only two other tents there and about 7-8 RVs...would def stay here again when in the area

It was Ok didn't have the amenities a park that cost 47.50 a night should have. No showers, pool or cable nothing more than power, water and dump.
