Stayed here for months without a problem. Donna is a rock solid Landlord. If you have an issue with a noisy or disrespectful tenant. She will deal with it immediately. There were other RV parks closer to my job site but I chose this one for the convenience and friendly staff. If I ever have to work in New Orleans or the Saint Bernard area again I will definitely be staying at Richards Rv Park.

This is a great quiet place to park your camper. Saw reviews from people who do not and have not stayed here before to put it down. Since one was from a new account, more than likely it is from one who got evicted for causing problems. Problem people need to go elsewhere, not tolerated here. So take some with a grain of salt. 3 are from no one who has lived here.

Great location for visiting New Orleans. 15 mile drive straight into NO. 40 MPH, so it takes about 30 minutes. Nice shady park. Donna was great. She was out of town so she asked a neighbor to show uis our site. We paid her the next afternoon after sightseeing in the morning. The sites could use some gravel, but they were grassy and level. Our Antenna picked up 30 channels, so no cable was needed. The sewers could also use some updating, but they worked sufficiently. Laundry could use a little "finishing". It was OK, but no signage telling us that the dryers needed $2, not $1.50 as in the washers. also would be nice to know how long the $2 ran...55 minutes. Wireless didn't work at our site (in the trees) but worked fine near the laundry and office. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we get to NO.

Me and my family stayed here a couple of weeks ago while visiting New Orleans. The location was perfect for us...a 15 minute drive to the French Quarter and yet far enough to feel safe and peaceful after a day of "craziness" in "The Big Easy". The 2 wonderful gentlemen who run the park, Shanon and Jeremy, were SO helpful and knowledgeable. The park is peaceful and I felt safe staying there. There is a laundry on site, but no washroom facility...however, this is reflected in the cheap rates they offer. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this park to anyone visiting new orleans.

My husband and I are long time residents (over 3 years), who live all the way in the back. It is very quiet. And I love having the shooting range right behind us, because there are frequently sheriff's officers in and around the area. There has never really been any problems with guests being loud or obnoxious. This is definitely, by far, the best RV Park in the Parish! And Donna, who is the manager, is extremely kind and helpful. It's unfortunate that one ex-tenant, who was admittedly here for '2 years', and was only here for a couple of months under the last manager, had to leave slanderous remarks about the new manager and other tenants.

Excellent RV park with great pricing, great staff, good considerate neighbors, very quiet, not a lot of little children. Close enough to the action, about 15 miles. from town. 50amp elec. & water work well with no issues. The Sewer set-up is little odd, but works well. They have an open section and a wooded section to choose from with l lots of space between units. Smallish Park with nice sunrises. It's on my good park list!!

Very nice park! Donna, the owner was very helpful. The only difficult thing was the sewage hookup. It was horizontal instead of vertical. We were in a motorhome. Not a pull through. They do have washers and dryers. It was very quite and safe!! We would stay again for sure!!!

Excellent trailer park, the people are very kind and generous, I stayed here during hurricane Isaac in 2012, and the generosity provided by park personnell during the aftermath was unbeatable. We were even given a sort of "hurricane party" with free food and drinks after the fact, and I was given workarounds for my power outage when the energy company had restored only half the park's electric. The manager also takes good care of the place and the people and keeps a sharp eye out for anything that may be less than pleasant for the residents.

We are here right now and would very much recommend this park. It's quiet, I feel safe here, and it is only about a 15 minute straight shot to downtown. We looked at several Parks and we were very nervous about staying in New Orleans because every park seemed to not be in the greatest locations or there are several located close to a major rail switching yard which we felt would have interrupted our sleep. This is not a 5 star resort if that is what you are looking for but it has full hook ups 30 or 50 amp service, cable, Wi-Fi (if you are close to the office) and cable and in a safe area of town. The owner couldn't be nicer and goes out of his way to help you with anything that you need and keeps a very close eye on the Park. We are in a 39' motor home with 3 slides with a tow vehicle.

Great park, we wanted to be away from the "riff raff" of New Orleans but still have access to it. It took us about 25 minutes to get to down town New Orleans. The park was clean, quiet and very affordable. We felt very safe and didn't have any worries leaving the RV all day long. On a return pass thru New Orleans I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great Park, great manager, Loved it!

Manager, Donna, is a five! Beautiful old oaks and level spots. Love this place, and will continue to use this as our NOLA spot. One missing star as owners need to add much gravel to RV and parking spots.

Richards RV Park is what I call quaint in the sense that it is not full of fancy amenities BUT both guys have hearts of gold. When my husband broke his wrist, without hesitation after my explanation about the big rig truck they offered the use of the park pickup. This I think was well above and beyond the call of duty. Its a great place to feel safe and kept clean. Thank you guys.

If you are going to stay in the New Orleans area I suggest staying at Richards. It is safe, well kept and quiet. The sites are large and the wi-fi works well. The host, Donna, is very nice and makes you feel at home.

Donna is very polite and welcoming, the park is well maintained and beautiful trees are everywhere. Very reasonable rates. Probably best rates in this area actually.

Have stayed a month with no issues. I am working not far from there. This place is quite,laid back, and the ones running it are very friendly. Would recommend!
