Great campground with nice facilities. Lake, beach and lots of trails to walk and bike on. They also have 5 cabins that you can rent, with electricity, small screened in porch, fire pit, picnic table, lights and a ceiling fan. Lots of big RVs here too. They also rent bikes and sell firewood. Ohh I almost forgot..they sell ice cream where you check in.
Kacey Borin
Great spot- nice walking trails out to the lake and around the area. Easy check-in. Fairly priced. Stayed in round 3, a little hard to find the small “C” loop sign when dark out, but nice area.

A very nice place to camp! The grounds are well cared for, sites have plenty of space so you are not right on top of your neighbors. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Staff patrolled the park day and night. They encourage people to call the police for noise complaints, so it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again!
Daniel Randolph
Very nice campground 20 mins west of the city. Mostly quiet and well cared for and very clean. Lots of sites so usually can find a spot.
Buy wood is the most frustrating experience you'll ever have outside of calling CenturyLink.

Went camping here for the first time and it was nice. But I feel I was so close to other people camping around which was fine but it didn't feel like camping. We also just happen to go when it was raining on Saturday and Sunday so we didn't get to rent any boats to use. They have firewood at the office for people to buy. Staff was friendly and they provided us a paper map of the campground. Bathrooms without the showers could be better but it is what it is when you go camping.

This is a very nice campground. It is very close to Minneapolis so Baker camoground is harder to get a reservation at, but worth it. The showers are clean and the bathrooms are immaculate. I stayed for six days and had a very nice time. The pathways are all paved with extensive walking or biking opportunities. The swimming area and boating is excellent as well. Baker camp even provides after hours security and a locked combination gate. 👍

This place is a jem. Lots of trees, beautiful lake with a swimming area. Walking and biking trails and boat ramp/dock. They will loan you life preservers if you need them. We fell in love with this place. The spaces are nice and big. We have a 38 ft Class A and had no problem getting in with 2 slides. Your not on top of each other. Big open area between site. Put your reservation in early because it fills up fast. They only have 30/50 amps here. So fill up and dump before you come. That being said you can fill up here and dump. No extra charge. Such a neat place to stay.
Robbie Templeton
Beautiful park with lots of maple trees-colorful fall! Electric hook up only but water and dump station available in park.
Alesha Brizius
The grounds are so well kept and the bathrooms are actually really great. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised while camping there. The park could be updated but still very fun for the kids and the beach is great!!! I'm a happy camper!!!

Looking for camping near the cities with lots of accomadations, then this is the place. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Trails and paths up the wazu for biking and walking. Fishing, boating, picnic and play areas. Pretty nice place.
Ching Hung
Good place to camp, there is s bike path, a beach, nice facility, and no too far out of city
Carrie Atkins
Great place for family fun! Very kid friendly! Beware of stone steps near playground it can end very badly as my found found out 7 stitches later. Other than that super clean very nice professional staff.
Patsy Stuva
Great place for "hybrid" camping. Just 20 minutes from home. Park the RV there for the week then go back to town for grandkid care as needed. Best of both worlds
Shane Guptill
One of my favorite places near the cities it feels like being up north right in the middle of all the excitement
Chris Medeck
Loved this campground! Plenty of beach space to play.
The new playground was awesome, and the kids had a blast there. Very unique activities and two zip lines.
Our camp sites were good sized with light to moderate tree cover. Fire pits had the flip grates for cooking, which is nice.
There is a water station near the entrance so you can fill your tank on arrival. There are also TWO dump stations when you leave!
My only complaint is that backing a camper in was a little tough. It took a couple tries to get the angle and placement right due to the confined space. The roads felt narrow, and the gravel pads could be a little bigger. I watched several others struggle getting in as well.
Julie Kuenzel
Wonderful camp ground. Nice, big sites, beautiful lake and walk/bike paths all at a great price.
Liam Boverhuis
He's campgrounds are great Beach playground areas to bike. It's beautiful there
Susan Auyer
The cabins are well kept and very clean. The whole park is well maintained.
Elaine Gilbert
This campground is fantastic and has everything we needed. Great walking paths, bikes for rent, immaculate bathrooms and shower houses, a beach, play ground, large camp sites, recycling and composting bins, and very friendly staff. We had a perfect stay. During our stay we went out on lake Minnetonka, Paisley park, and to the state fair. The location was close enough to everything we wanted to do with still having the camping experience.
We rented bikes and rode around Katrina lake. Would definitely come back and stay longer.
DeanNance
Beautiful park! Lots of trees and lawns. Dog friendly. Unsure if any of their RV sites have water hook up. Ours did not, so plan ahead. There was a hose near the restrooms to fill water containers.
timcove
We have no complaints. Really enjoyed our stay in July 2019. Spent 5 nights in a tent with no issues. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Generally clean washrooms (if they're dirty, it's because of the inconsiderate idiots who use them). Phenomenal shower building. Sites have loads of room. Had a blast fishing at the lake for Bluegills on a fly rod along the shore.
TerryLisa Moore
Very nice campground. Only hookup is electric. Have a water station to fill up as you enter and a nice dump station as you leave. Bathrooms/showers are very clean. Bring the bikes to ride around on the trail system in the park. Like that the also offer recycling & composting.

We are regular here ever since we discovered it like 3.5 yrs ago. My family comes here almost throughout the summer; our kids love it. Wonderful staff and great environment. Clean showers and bathrooms. I especially loved the washing dishes sink outside the restrooms. It's so helpful instead of bringing my own water.
Amy Salzl
Our favorite campground close to the cities! Literally has something for everyone: huge beach, rentals for kayaks/canoes/paddle boats/paddle boards/bikes, tons of trails, huge park (rebuilding this year will make it even more epic), nature programs, great fishing/boating. You usually have to book in advance, but we have had luck with last minute reservations with cancellations. Campsites are nice...some more wooded/private than others. Facilities are kept very clean!
Crystal Reese
Quiet campground and very clean. The showers are the best and cleanest I've seen at a campground yet . They have a gate that locks at night so you feel relatively safe. My only concern is there are only two shower/dish washing stations, at opposite ends of the grounds, and it's quite a trek to have to make multiple times a day ..
Valentine Nde
Love this place. Location is perfect just outside the city. Excellent camping sites and bike trails. If you are looking for a camp site and don't want to drive a long ways, this definitely a good spot to checkout. We had a good especially since it's not mosquitoes season yet.
Ethan Olson
This is a great campground and our family has been coming here multiple times each year for the past few years. It quite large, so there are usually sites available. The entire park is connected by bike paths, which also connect to other bike paths outside the park. There is a nice playground for the kids, and three separate beaches all within walking or biking distance of the campsites. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and they even have educational programs for kids on weekends. There are also bike and canoe rentals if you don't have your own. All in all, this campground has everything our family likes to do, so we will continue going back.
Caitlin Drew
Very Quiet and clean campground! Loved staying here because each campground was spaced out more than others are. The grounds are covered in trees so it's nice and cool in the shade.
Matt Hagert
Amazing campground with very clean facilities and ample family activities. Baker Boo in October is our favorite festivity of the year by far and the staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone has fun. Best place to camp, hands down.
Colene McClard
Fantastic customer service with a beautifully maintained Campground. New camper cabins add a new fun twist! Excellent lake for boating, fishing & 2 great swimming beaches. Boat access close & easily accessible to campgrounds. Children's play area just a short walk away. Gorgeous golf course, Baker National just a few miles away. All of these options allows fun for the entire family!
Minnesota Mike Fishing
Loved it i just wish that the grounds were a bit more spread out but it was a blast
John Greig
I love Baker Campground. Peaceful, open, clean with a lake and recreation area. Biking, hiking and a great golf course nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Larger than usual campsites.
Cenz
Loved it here, very friendly, 🏳️🌈 welcomed. Wood is expensive and small, ice is the same, spent $40 on wood for 2 nights. Camp sights are clean and get patrolled. The sights are close together in u shapes. Beaches very sandy and sea weed free 🙌🏻 I will be going back …
Ashley Menges
Really nice camping area just outside of greater Minneapolis. Very quiet and extremely well kept!
JESSIE JEAN
Very nice swimming beach, great bike trails, and my kids absolutely loved the new playground. It’s a long walk to the beach and playground, so I’m really happy we brought our bikes.
Tabitha Thompson
I love this campground. The staff in the office is wonderful and always very helpful. The campsites are clean and spaced far enough apart. The facilities are much cleaner than a Koa. There's so much to do at this park and so many different campsites. It's nice that the forepit has a grill that goes over the top so we can cook over the fire with a cast iron pan. I love the location too - right on the lake. My only complaint would be their rule of only being able to camp there for 14 days out of a 30 day period.
Logan Krant
The Baker Campground is always a good spot, whether you like fishing, biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, etc. There is always something to do there. Their camper cabins are the perfect balance of comfort with actually being camping. The environment is great during the summer.
schlick mick
Very nice campground. Shower house, dish washing station, clean restrooms, nice beach, fun play area for the kids, nice boat ramp. Biggest thing I didn't like you have to pay to park your vehicle and trailer at the boat ramp. Other you have to launch your boat and drive back to your campsite. The water fountain tested bad next to shower house no.1. Bring you're in drinking water..
Yvonne Cobb
Very nice camping grounds. Fire pit is small, so if you're planning to cook a lot you'll want to bring your own grill. Picnic table provided. Only real issue was the amount of spiders on campsite. It's nature, I know...but, there were soooo many on the ground felt more like an infestation.
Meg Daniel
An enjoyable weekend of car camping. Not as wooded between campsites as we were hoping. There are rows of trees/brush between sections of the campground.
The park was quite enjoyable. A great playground for toddlers and up. There were 2 ziplines though one was out of commission. Very popular with the kids.
There were 2 main beaches which are well kept. Several bathrooms and numerous grills and park tables. An area to rent rowboats, canoes, paddleboats, kayak, etc.
An enjoyable stay and within easy driving of the Cities!
Nick Lawson
Had a great time with friends and family. Nice layout. Good facilities.
Misty Hagen
Fantastic campground, showers are clean and spacious. Can get crowded on holiday weekends so make your reservations early! Provide cabins if you don't have an RV or tent. Recommend this park!
Kevin Theisen
Great scenery with a variety of different camp sites. Clean facilities with nice playground close to lake independence.
Barb Williams
Large shaded sites. Beautiful trails for walking or biking. Gorgeous beach and fishing pier with small boat and sheltered picnic sites available to rent. From tent to large Rv sites this park has become a not so hidden gem just outside the metro area. Pet friendly adds even more to this park's amenities.
Lori LaFleur
Love the proximity to Mpls. Nice campground but definetly not for wilderness campers. I like that the lake is seperate from campsite if you have small children. The have nice playground, beach and fishing dock. Price is reasonable. Wish the had full hookups. Only electricity.
Debbie Crow
Beautiful campsite with lots of trees. It only has electric hookup but has nice area that you can wash your dishes. Nice bathrooms and showers. A great place to go fishing and a nice beach to go swimming.
Keren
We have camped all over the country and Baker Park Reserve has been one of our best experiences. The RV pads are level, the sites are good size, and campground is exceptionally well maintained.
Dakota
A good place to go camping, fishing, boating, renting paddle boats and other boats, bikes, buying ice cream from campground office and candy. Its fun being by the campfire with family or by yourself. They also have beaches and places to swim, and have a great playground for kids to play. There is more to the place, you could walk on trails, bike, other things. Go to the place and check it out, last day is October 18 and starts making reservations on March 9 2015.
Ron P
Great campground close to the cities. Too busy on weekends though. Great staff that keeps things clean and running.

Stephen Ebner
Good clean camping. Dog walk, park, fishing, swimming.
Steven Pruden
The facilitys are nice and well kept but it is very open (modern campground). It would be nice if they had more secluded sites available so it doesn't feel like camping in your backyard.
Richard Anderson
Huge campground with nice amenities. Unfortunately lightning struck the water pump and all bathrooms and showers were unavailable during my stay. Tough to give 5 stars without those amenities.
Donovan Pace
Absolutely immaculately kept campgrounds. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone
Chris Pauly
Great camp ground. Baker Boo weekend...saw the Ghostbusters!
Lisa Bright
Their well got hit by lightning, they offered to cancel our reservation at no charge. And those of us who chose to still go, were offered, free of charge, bottled water. Very nice on their side of it. We would go back!
Keanen Wold
We like to go here in the spring for our first trip of the year. It's close to stores and home. The campground is very nice and open, we've enjoyed many stays here.

Caron Theis
Nice quiet camp ground full or empty. Close to home. Very Nice I reccomend to visit.
Krista Bjork
Was peaceful the day I was there but the individual sites are very small and the firewood was the most expensive I've ever encountered at over $7 for one bundle and the wood wasn't even dry!
Kim Mork
Nice wooded spots, however park and beach is way too far away from campsites. Good bike trails.
Kelly Klisch
