Maumelle Park, Little Rock Arkansas.
The park is absolutely beautiful and very large. The sites are well spaced and there are quite a few that are long enough that a large rig would fit in such as ours (we're almost 70' long).
Negotiating the drive through the facility was fine. There was a ditch on one side of our site which made backing in a bit of a challenge but it was doable.
Many sites are well shaded and have a nice picnic table along with a fire ring setup. There's a playground for the kids, and a boat ramp for the bigger kids!
The bath house, although fairly clean was well abused. All the hooks in the showers are broken off and there is no shelf or anywhere else to set anything. In order to use the water you have to continuously push a button approximately every 60 to 120 seconds. There is no type of soaps at the sinks and the only hand dryer in there was broken. But don't let that deter you from going to this beautiful Park!

Very pretty park located right in the heart of town...although once you enter the park, you'd never know you were so close to civilization. The park is very nice with modern hookups and nice bath/shower facilities. Spaces are very nicely laid out with lots of room between campers. Roads are paved and it is easy to maneuver throughout the park. The lake was beautiful and clean and the whole area was very pretty and natural without being too rustic or remote. We would definitely stay here again. We camped in a 34' RV.

Beautiful riverside park with nicely spaced out sites. Water and electric at sites along the river. Sites are paved and level. Nice gravel patios with picnic table and fire ring. Bathrooms are clean but surprisingly lack soap. Showers are bare bones and need some updates.

Maumelle Park was an amazing campground to experience! It was very quiet, had great facilities, was extremely close to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and Little Rock. The proximity to Pinnacle Mountain allowed me to hike it at Sunrise and Sunset which is something I haven't done with any mountain in my life! The river runs right next to it and makes an amazing area for all sorts of water activities. We had some lightning storms come through the area and they could be seen straight across the river which had it's own beauty. I booked this park the day of and was able to extend to the same spot for another day after. I loved my experience here and will definitely be back!
Stacy Pennington
Really nice park, with lots of electric spots right on the river. Most of the park is well shaded, making those summer days more pleasant. Well kept facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and a great playground and activities for kids make this an easy choice.if you are glamping, lots of restaurants are only a few miles away.
Jeffrey LeBaron
Beautiful park for water lovers with boats, but NOT for hikers, as there are no trails other than a short 5-minute asphalt walkway through the trees. We ended up hiking in Pinnacle Mountain, which is day use only but only a 5-minute drive. Beautiful geese with babies roaming the campsites.
Beth Niedoborski
Friendly staff
Very clean campground
Nice area with picnic tables
Dog friendly!
The trails to the national park start right at the campground
The bathrooms are clean, but be aware that there are no showers and the hand soap doesn't get refilled
Good experience overall

Perfect for open grill. There are individual shelters that can be occupied on first come first serve basis for free. There are camping site too that should be reserved online and pay at the entrance of park. Even during the peak of summer, this park will be pleasant.
Terry
We love this campground on the Arkansas River. We would definitely stay here again. So beautiful and quiet!
Laura Thomas (Thefreemovement)
Well well well I believe I've just found my favorite. Excellent everything!!! Huge body of water to explore. Excellent arrangement for placement of rv, motor home, trailers. The most friendly, customer helpful, office helpers available.
Austin Esry
Absolutely incredible. Beautiful park. Spacious. Quiet. Calm. Peaceful. Restorative. As a traveling ICU RN, this is far and away my favorite camp site I’ve been to so far. @ only $24/night, it’s a great deal.
Kelly Bunting
Very clean and quiet campground. Nice for relaxing and walking trails.
Steven Holland
Beautiful and quiet. Patrolled by a Park Ranger. It was just uncomfortable to get to. You have to drive by some jaw dropping mega mansions to get there.
Lorelle Carey
Awesome park! Always busy though. We have a 41ft fifth wheel and fit great in site 31 right by the water.
Tamela Ramirez
Very beautiful park. Spacious sites. Clean!! Have stayed here a couple of times will be staying again whenever we return to Little Rock!
W W
Nice place. Sections C and E are nicer than B. The eastern end has very few trees. The sites along the river had the fewest trees. Not much advantage to river sites unless you have a boat. Trails are nice and paved but very short. Nice bike ride to the state park arboretum.

Awesome place pretty quite. With good views. I did notice some of the campsites flood when a good rain comes in but overall great place to stay.
Jake M
Nice quiet park right next to the river.
Well maintained grounds.
Hot showers
Campsites with water and electric.50amp
Covered tables along river and pavilions and playgrounds.
Loved it!
My site D02 was the only one covered in mud.
I felt the grounds keepers could've managed that a little better.
Pinnacle nearby and Two Rivers park!
Both lovely parks to enjoy as well! We biked to each and enjoyed the views!
Andrea Birch
It was a beautiful day at this park, so that always helps. The bathrooms were very clean and there were people picking up trash while we were there👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I would love to come back and bring my camper. The one thing that disappoints is that they don’t have full hookups. It is a wonderful park with spacious areas fir camping. …
Steve Bohn
Very nice staff. Nice sites and view. Be careful of sites B33, B34, and B35, if there is heavy rain or thunderstorms. They flooded to where the guests had 6 to 8 inches of water all around their trailers and vehicles. Also, take hand soap to the restrooms as there was none.
#Lawrence #Hammersley
I like this place first time here was referred by relatives, not disappointed plenty of room pet friendly dogs and cats things for children to do. Play ground equipment fishing hiking they have RV pads with power water some with sewage and they have spots to put a tent up. Its quite at night and have showers restrooms also.
Jonah
The park is huge and very well maintained. It's amazing how close to Little Rock it is. There are a lot of RVs but everyone was extremely courteous and it was very quiet. Park staff were friendly and helpful as well. Lots of birds and I even saw an armadillo swim up to the boat launch!!
FYI - The website mentioned firewood for sale but they weren't selling it when I was there.
John Smith
It is a Great place. I am always going over there with my family. There are lots of fun there. It is a camping area. Whenever I am stressful, I go there and it makes me relax. The restrooms are ok. There are so many types of animals my kids can learn so many things
Andrew Hilton
Love This Place.
Fishing, Boating, Kayaking, Walking, and Swimming.
Plenty of parking and the fishing is fantastic. Alone or with some friends it is always an exciting Adventure. Plenty of wildlife to see and capture in a photo. Me and my friends drive 25 minutes almost any given day to enjoy the picturesque scenery and cool waters. (SEE PICS)
Jody Carter
Pretty busy and not a lot to do... No hiking, swimming, etc.
The sites are flat and level. It's relatively quiet, close to several amenities, and 2 miles from Pinnacle Mountain State Park. A Kroger Marketplace is just a few miles down the street. Reservations are completed through recreation.gov and are about $22/night with some pull-thru spots available.
Glenda Askins
Beautiful park. We are parked facing the beautiful Arkansas River. Well maintained. We will definitely come back.
Natasha Parks
Absolutely beautiful, nice place the rent an RV spot, showers, and so much more
Melody Snider
Beautiful park with large shady sites. TMobile and Verizon cellular data coverage for the digital nomads. Blazing speeds.
Gayla Dial
The hostess was absolutely wonderful upon arriving. We arrived late to our check-in and she was so gracious and helpful. Beautiful park, well maintained, and nicely spaced so everybody has some privacy. I will absolutely keep this one in the “places to go back to” list!
Trace Johnson
Excellent, clean, park on the lake short visit but now on our re visit list.
Mrs. Johnson
Rv park, nice people, covered picnic tables on the water. Bigger pavilions for reservations, public restroom with showers, great scenery, swings & small playground with slides.
Lots of shade, nice sections of open area by the pavilions for playing games & running around/family sports.
Watch for red ants & wasps. We saw several ant & wasp nests.
This location is less than 2 miles from the pinnacle mountian state park visitors center, which is also a great place to visit!
Phillip Russell
This is a beautiful park. Very clean and green. lots and lots of trees. The river/lake sunrises are great. Pinacle mountain state park is just 2 miles away. Great hiking.
Casey Ernest
This park is beautiful. Usually is well taken care of, but the grass has grown out of control this time... I stay here for 2 weeks at a time and it's always quiet and everyone is very nice.
Jim Cornell
Beautiful park!!! We camped for 1 night. Site B5. Sites were clean, paved, long and fairly level. There was enough room on our site to park our boat next to our rig. The bathrooms were clean and bright. There are many riverfront sites. We got a site across the road from the river and it was almost as good as a riverfront one. The park also offers sites away from the waterfront which are large and nicely shaded. We'll be adding this park to our "must stop again" list. I would recommend reservations if planning on staying there over the weekend.
Teresa D
Nice park. Very quiet. Good location on the water. Locking bath/shower rooms and very clean. No curfew to lock gates. I would definitely go again. Close to Pinnacle Mountain with lots of trails from easy to tough at the summit. Oh! And love the squirrels!!!!
Mariann Nielsen
Wonderful Corp of Engineers park.... discount with your national park pass. On Arkansas river with great sites and plenty of space. Perfect for bicycling and hiking.
Janet Cantrell
Very clean. The campers we met here were all very friendly. Felt very safe staying here.
Britton Stopnik
More of a campground than an RV resort. Each campsite has power and water, but no individual sewer. You have to dump at the dump station. There is also no trash pickup. But other than that, it's clean, on the river, and well shaded.
Jacques Chatenay
Nice place to camp close to the water
The RV Bunch
On behalf of the RV Bunch group: "Maumelle is a nice, well kept campground on the Arkansas River. It is our go to park when we visit Little Rock. Awesome views from the visitor center. Plus hiking. And great Honey!!!! Water and electric at site. 3 dump stations. Nice view of Maumelle Lake."
Ann
Spacious campsite. Beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the stay.
SullivanFarrierWnc
Beautiful view right on the river. Peaceful would highly recommend. And heated restrooms
Jana Hall Lane
Nice quiet and peaceful. Park had water pressure issues on our last day but overall excellent
Markus Renno
“Hiked” here with my 2nd grade Cub Scout from Two Rivers Park bridge. Wanted his first backpacking experience to have some backup in case anything went wrong. The hike itself was great along the Arkansas River Trail (aside from a couple miles along regular roads). The campground had a great playground, but I’m pretty sure we were the only tent campers there. Lots of RVs. Otherwise, it was the perfect place to crash for a night!
Christine Ballin
Great staff hot showers warm bathrooms when it's cold and the keep the park clean
Derek Woods
Great place right on the Arkansas River.
myjeepzia
Nice friendly beautiful and peaceful place great location very nice and helpful host hot showers.
Jennifer Nyhart
I fel in love worth Maumelle and did not want to leave. Its quiet everyone is friendly and there's plenty of wildlife. My only complaint is I didn't bring my fishing pole😢 …
Scotty Tucker
We had a wonderful experience at this campground. Wish we could have stayed longer. Campground was beautiful. To see our adventures subscribe to SIMPLE LIFE BIG ADVENTURES on YouTube.
Tim Raines
A great campground and would get 5 stars except for some of the sites are oriented with the picnic table and grill on the backside of the camper.
Kelly Gee
A beautifully arranged park on the Arkansas River, nearly everyone has a roomy and shady spot. There are many spots and right now in June, almost all are full, but it's still quiet. Bathhouses are interesting in area A-just two for each gender which are open concept-a toilet, sink and shower all in one room with a door to lock. Despite how full the park is, we have not had difficulty showering when we want to, though. Close to Pinnacle Mountain State Park and other goodness, one hour from Hot Springs. We've decided we need more than 5 days to really enjoy the area. Great park!!
D W
Been there before and it was well maintained, wish I could say that about this visit. Instead of Mowing the grass it looked like they were going to bale hay!! I'm 6'1" and the grass was up past me knee. I still have chiggers!!
Leonelle Nash
Nice place to stay in a RV or camper. Clean bathrooms but they don't have soap so make sure that you bring your own.
Jerry Rogers
Quite spot with river on one side, mountain on the other, and hiking trails to tie them all together. Great adventure.
David Chafton
This is a great camp grounds and park!!! Very quiet and family friendly.
Judy McDyer
Beautiful campground, nice breeze from the lake.
Dudeareno Rodent
Staff very helpful..This place has multiple showers/ restrooms very clean..close to town most convenient
vineet saini
Perfect place to come out and enjoy good weather
Maureen James
We just checked in and set up the camper. I never want to leave. It's raining a little but it's such a beautiful park!
My husband said the bathrooms are large and very clean.
The sites are so far apart compared to all of the KOA campgrounds we've been frequenting. They're nice and all but THIS is really what we've been looking for.
And the river is steps away from many of the sites.
There's a large boat dock for launching plus a couple for swimming (I'm guessing).
If I could give this 10 stars, I would. $24/ night with water and 50A/30A/110V electric.
rick cawley
This is one of the best COE parks that we have stayed at ,the sites are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel to crowded. There is a boat ramp in the park so that you can get on the Arkansas River
Jennifer Heflin
Beautiful place for camping, picnic or boating
Aaron Durden
We loved our week at Maumelle Park. Nestled within the hustle and bustle of the Little Rock area was a this gem of a park. The park staff and campground hosts do a great job keeping everything nice and neat. The sites have electric service and water. We found 3 dump stations within the park so you aren’t far from one wherever you set up. The Ranger on duty advised me that grey water can be responsibly be drained at your site. The location along with all the nearby nature activities made this a “must return to” for our family.
Robert Dalga
Nice Campground and park! Many sites right on the bank of the river. Most sites if not all have electricity and water.
Tammy Lee Casey
We went out here for family weekend with our church family word aflame. We had a remarkable weekend. We will be defiantly making this a yearly thing. It was truly remarkable. Great time, great place.
Kesha Robinson
We will definitely be back. It's peaceful, lots of shaded areas to eat and great views.
Fuat Bakisli
Great place for weekend getaway. Close to everything Little Rock.
Greg McGill
Love this place. Clean and comfortable place to stay for a few days. Lots of room between sites.
Maryssa Gehm
For around 25 dollers a day, I think its great. The camp ground has many small playgrounds, and a basketball hoop. The are a few places around the camp ground to take showers. There are paths to bike on, and a boat ramp. There is a river that is easy to access if you want to go kayaking. All in all is a great spot to hang out and chill for a few days!!
Mary
Beautiful campground. Nice spacing and lots of shade. Bike trail right near the campground to take you into little rock attractions and only 2 mile bike ride to a park with hiking trails. Love it😁 …
noryRN
The best sunrise 🌅 it’s the best campground near little rock and Pinnacle Mountain 🏔 …
Lisa Damico
Nice clean camping....view of the river is gorgeous...4 stars because the woman at check in gate could be a little more friendly. Also they need to communicate quiet hours clearly..
Room4Two
Very nice campground on the Arkansas River. Beautiful giant trees throughout. Paved walking trails.. The campground was well maintained and clean and quiet. Lots of space between campsites. Only con is that the shower rooms were industrial feeling and could use some updating.
Wayne Riley
This is a great campground, situated on the banks of the Arkansas River on the outskirts of Little Rock. Other than camp sites, they also offer picnic sites, pavilion rentals, and boat ramp access to the river. For outdoor recreational experiences the nearby Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers many hiking and climbing trails, as well as other nature viewing experiences.
My Brilliant Life
Close to Kroger etc but still nice and peaceful, well run and kept up campground,
Robert Coleburn
This is a really nice campground, beautifully situated on a nice lake. Spacious sites. Very friendly man checked us in. Unfortunately the showers do need an upgrade. Water barely hot enough, couldn't avoid getting partially drenched with cold water turning it on. Still, highly recommend this place.
Sandy Wheat
This is an AWESOME park.. Lots of things to keep family busy. The worker in check in station was very kind and helpful to us ‼️ Definitely will come back when we come this way
Justa Guy
Camping here is nice. Bath house is clean. Lots of folks here.
Connie Westerman
We were actually at ToadSuck Corps Park. It is a really nice park. The bathrooms were hot - it was over 100 every day we were there.
Jim B
Large COE park on Arkansas River. Seemed well kept. It took some damage from the Spring Floods of 2019 but have heard it is now back operational. Camped there many years ago really enjoyed it.... most camp sites are pretty spacious and level. Some in loop look to be a little short and uneven. I counted at least 2 dump stations throughout the park.
James Mcguirk
Great location. Nice sites. But … there’s no enforcement of noise policies. 2/3 nights we were there, different large groups of very rude and loud a**holes partied far past the 10:00 PM quiet time.
Sharon Stroud
Very nice area for large or small gatherings. Plat area, electrical outlets and bathrooms.
Dakota Dog
One of the nicest & well maintained campgrounds that we have ever visited, Nicely spaced sites and very helpful lady at the front gate made our one night stay a pleasant experience.
Skip & Pamela Wilkins
Great place to stay with lots of shade trees.
Royce Barnett
Must get river front spot. It's a lot of fun watching all of the boat traffic from your camp site
Mark Robbins
Great campground. They have great shady sites and several pull-throughs. All sites are paved and most are level.
Betty Parker
The park is clean, quit, and all employees are helpful and friendly. We have been fortunate to take advantage of the medical sites off and on for over a year. We appreciate the help the park has provided as we make our way thru cancer and on to wellness.
John Zargo
If I could give it a 2.5 stars I would.
The sites are spaced well enough apart which was nice. We were in A loop. There was barely 18 inches to play with on the sides with a 6 to 10 inch drop off on both sides. Our stairs had to be put down into mud pit. If this park had camp host they we well hid . Our site was full of broken glass and cigarette butts. There was also trash in the fire pit. We were here for a week and couldn't even set up outside. There we some sites that were setup a little better, some up in B loop. The bathhouse fairly clean but it was the first time I have been in one with no soap dispensers . I
Jerry Lathem
Very nice campground, $22 to $26, elec and water.
James Pruitt
A beautiful place to camp, fish or ride a bike.
But who knew it was a place where you could drink forties and smoke dope openly and not be afraid of someone telling you that you're wrong and doing that in front of the little kids that were playing next to your table. It's a little sad commentary of our country
Balinda Bushong
Love this place. So peaceful and relaxing.. And right on the river. The geese are a bit of a problem but they stay out of your way if you let them rule.. We stayed for 7 nights and even thoughed it rained a few days we enjoyed ourselves. We already booked our next stay in September. Hopefully it won't rain. We live only 20 minutes away so very convenient to home, and my husband could still go to work...lol he did take a few days off... Thank you Dee you are very kind and accommodating for our stay you went above and beyond your duties... See ya in September 2021😊
Richard Dixon
Too many campers...unless you are into that kind of thing, then party on Garth.
Stephen Nicholas
This is a beautiful national Park on the river. Myspace is right next to the river. I'm doing the 2200 mile track from Nashville back to Carson City Nevada. This is the least expensive of my stops especially because I have the senior pass. Lots of friendly people with dogs and bicycles and enjoying the early May weather here in Little Rock Arkansas.
Anthony Broome
Very nice location on the river. Very busy during the weekends. Space between sites so everyone is not piled on one another. Pet friendly and plenty of things to do for the entire family.
Aaron Mcclure
VERY nice park! The staff is awesome! Very personable, friendly people to deal with. Located right be the river, the scenery is inviting and tranquil. Love the pavilions that are available for renting... Great for church picnics, family reunions or just to grab some friends and hang out all day. These have playgrounds for the kids, grills for cooking, electric outlets for convenience and playing good Gospel music!
Dee Elkins
It's a great park to camp with family or group. The pavilions are great for any type of gathering. I recently attended a wedding held in one of the pavilions. It was the perfect setting for the couple. The park had an area specifically designated for scout camping for troops, for free last I knew.
Michael Brooks
Nice campsite on the water, level with electric and water. Nice Scenic park. Only minor issue was the grass really could use a mowing. Campsite next to us experienced electrical issues.
Terry Goss (The Next Hundred Miles)
This is a beautiful property, well maintained, with paved roads and sites. Most have a river view and all are well spaced and oriented toward the view. Water amd 30a electric only, strong cell service on TMobile, Verizon and ATT, and over 50 broadcast tv channels. This is a fantastic park.
Natural State Miniature Horse
We come here all the time. Always beautiful and campers are always friendly. Office staff has always been amazing till this trip. Not just me, but several have witnessed that office staff is rude! (First time ever in all the times we have came) even witnessed her speeding through the park. I guess rules dont apply to her. Time for new help to make the perfect park! When they get new office help I will give 5 stars.
Katherine Lambert-Pennington
Nice campgrounds with a great view of the river.
Bill Smith
Sites have plenty of space between them. Could easily set up a couple tents next to RV. Big beautiful trees and great lake views. The end of Loop A loses lake view to a marina, but is quiet and out of the way. Very quiet area and very pretty.
Woody Glover
Beautiful park, lots of shade. Not crowded campsites. No sewer.
pinkandgeek
Great little campground with reasonable rates. $25 for a site with a view of the river. They have some that sit right on the water also. Facilities were clean and well kept. Short drive over to Pinnacle Mountain. If you're looking to do a couple days of climbing at Pinnacle, this is a great base.
Steven Shook
Nice park, very pleasant atmosphere. Only draw backs are no 50 amp service and if you have a larger trailer it's hard to cool your unit down on hot days. Other than that recommend the park for anyone that enjoys peace and quiet.
Crys El
Gorgeous, one of the best campgrounds I've been to
Steven Long
Nice clean park. I will be back.
Teresa Anderson
It's a bit out of the way, but very easy to find. It's quiet but not boring. There are walking trails everywhere. The campsites are large and private. The pavillions are huge, and come with lights and grills. There is lots of parking for them too.
DJ Durrett
We stayed 3 nights over Columbus Day Weekend in a 24-foot travel trailer with 3 kids (under 8 yrs old) in sight D1. The park was clean and well maintained for the most part. The sights are well laid out and even though some are close together, there is plenty of room. AT&T and Verizon cell signals are strong 5G, good enough to stream Disney+ on the apple TV on a rainy day. The sight was pretty level. We only had to use one leveling block under the Driver side of the trailer to get it perfect. The dump station is not level, however and canted away from the hook up. We used a couple of blocks when we dumped out. Water pressure was on the low side but not bad. Water was clean and useful.
Though very full, it was very quiet, with one exception... Sunday afternoon was crazy with birthday parties and bbq'ers. D1 is directly across from two large group pavilions and picnic tables. For most of our stay, we had unobstructed view of the lake/river and solitary access to the playground and swings. On Sunday, however, the park filled up and there was a ton of traffic, loud car audio and people everywhere. It was not an issue and we felt safe, just be prepared that activity picked up on this particularly nice Sunday afternoon. Also, if you stay along the main drive between the boat ramp and the entrance, there will be a steady stream of trucks pulling boats just before and around day break. Again, wasn't a bother for us as the AC/Fan drowns most of the squeaky trailer noise. If we had to do it again, we would stay further into the park away from the main road and common areas. The campground has lots of mature trees with many little gray squirrels running about. We did not encounter any other critters aside from centipedes and daddy long leg spiders, which the kids loved messing with. If you park under a tree in the spot, be sure to check the canopy for dead limbs a.k.a "widow makers," and be prepared to be awakened by very large and loud acorns intermittently falling onto your camper... they are loud! But harmless.
All-in-all, we had a blast in the park and spent most of our time there. We will defiantly stay here again. We hiked Pinnacle Mountain via the West Summit trail, nearby. I highly recommend it. Although pretty technical rip-rap at the top, even our 4-year old made it. Also, we drove 20 minutes to North Little Rock to see the Old Mill, which is the only standing structure filmed in "Gone With the Wind." Great quick stop and the kids loved feeding our leftover picnic bread to the ducks. We also checked out the "Big Dam Bridge" and walked to the top. We wished we had brought the bikes as the greenbelt trail there looked amazing.
Joshua Stillman
They have kept this place pristine and welcoming as long as I can remember
Nicole
This park is one of the best places to go camping, and take kids. I would definitely recommend it to others! :)
Danielle Davis
Beautiful park with excellent sites right on the river. The woman in the guard office was so cordial and welcoming. Without asking she made sure we had a nice spot with a water view. When we were leaving she took time to thank us for coming and let us know how to make reservations for the good sites when we want to come back. We were only passing through but Maumelle is definitely bookmarked!
Kayla Campbell
This is our favorite campground! It's always neat and clean. Reasonably priced. Great for biking, as there is a trail within a couple of miles from here. Great places to hike around and up Pinnacle Mountain.
Kunal Girdhar
Lots of space for family get together for all age people
Gary Richmond
Maumell park is our home away from home, beautiful campground with pavilions, very quiet, as well as unmatched river views for watching tugboats and barges on the river. Very friendly park staff and always accommodating. We love it here.
Joann Dunn
It was very nice. It was roomy. We had fun. The restrooms didn't have soap but did have tissue which is a plus because we always bring hand sanitizer. The weather and River was pleasant. Everyone was so courteous.
John Lodholz
Great park, wish it had full hook ups. Sunrise over the Arkansas River.
David B
Decided I should take the kids to the pool in the middle of the night and was pleasantly surprised to find the bathrooms were heated.
Niki Allen
My family has traveled all over the US and has stayed at many campgrounds (mostly state and national parks), but I’ll have to say this is one of my favorites. This was so refreshing after a long drive from Ohio in a fifth wheel with lots more miles to go. We decided to stay an extra day to enjoy the river and walking trail. The site we stayed at was furnished with water, sewer, and electric. We will return.
Holle B. Me
Amazing place to watch the sunset & fireworks on 4th of July without the crowds.
Kris “ADHD_Carrier” Dudoich
Very scenic, clean, well organized, wonderful place to camp, bike, fish or just go for a walk.
Judi Lowell
What a wonderful place. We had a site (A13) right by the water. It was quiet and peaceful, and so much so, we decided to stay a second night. Our neighbors were mostly geese and ducks with a few herons. We didn't use the comfort station, but I suspect it was quite clean as the sites certainly were. This is a large place and all the sites are close to water. We did have a tornado warning during the night, but fortunately, all was calm. Definitely stay there if you have the chance.
Runn Oft (Joel Vinson)
This park is really nice. I had a spot right on the river and had a cool time by the fire watching the river barges. The access roads are wide enough and the spots are easy to get in and out of. It's a great place to camp for Pennical Mt. The sites were very well taken care of. The staff was Southern friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.
Valerie Davis
Was a nice campground. Did not use bathrooms since I had motor home, but two of the four had wet paint signs on the door the 5 days we were there. The river was nice to see but no swimming. Many bike trails near by and lots of deer at Two Rivers Park close by.
Rebecca F
Loved it!
David Hammer
Nice campground. The restroom wasn't ventilated so it was very hot in there. Each restroom contained a toilet, sink and shower so if someone used the shower, nobody could use the toilet. Thankfully the campground was quiet or there would have been a long line.
Tom Lee
This is a beautiful park on the Arkansas River. The sites are spacious and the park is quiet. We could only stay for one night, but will be back.
Thomas Fernandez
Serene, close enough to town but you can't hear traffic.
The bathrooms are typical for a public park and really spread out.
It's wonderful for a relaxing riverside picnic or grilling.
Leigh McQueeney
A beautiful place. Lovely reception staff. We loved it so much we had to extend our stay.
Brook Harman
Quiet, low key. Great for just relaxing or having a get together by the river. Lots of nice camping spots under the shade trees with picnic tables and grills. A few walking paths but nothing strenuous.
paul mayes
Easy access to Little Rock. Beautiful view of the Arkansas river.
Paula Haberer
This is one of the most enjoyable Army Corp. Of Engineer parks we stay at around the country. On the Arkansas River, it is a popular campground and day use area with several pavilions and shelters for family gatherings, school and scout outings. Great bird watching and boating location too! Can't say enough about how much I enjoy camping here in the Fall.
Robert Henry
Maumelle Park is wonderful. Clean, well kept, nice river views. Lots of geese flying over today, landing in the river.
Casey Crocker
Not a 5 star, but I wish it was! This campground and day use area is worth a campout if you've never stayed there because its a breath of fresh air. Its just west of Little Rock, sits along the Arkansas River, and features about 120 campgrounds- all provide electric and RV hookups. They have extended stay spots for UAMS patients!! <3 not going to tell you the best spots, but come out, stay here, bring yiur bike, visit Pinnacle Mountain (just down the road), put up a hammock and relax. Clean amd has showers.
Valecia Adair
Very pretty, park was peaceful. Stopped to have picnic on way back home from Russellville but flies were so bad we had to run for the car. Still enjoyed it.
sherman conder
This is one of the cleanest and nicest corps of engineer Parks I have ever visited sites are easily accessible dump stations are readily available I am extremely impressed with this corps of engineer Park
John Darrell Garrett
The USACOE does a great job of keeping up their campgrounds. This is one of the best I have been to. It's very clean and maintained. The location by the river is very beautiful.
Neri Carter
This place is really nice to hang out with my toddler. There are two activity playhouse with slides and obstacles for little toddlers older kids and swings. The turf is real nice, it protects toddlers for serious injuries. There's shade from trees making it more fun not being cooked under the sun.
susanbruni
What a beautiful campground right by the water. Nice trees and a very stunning setting.
James Mugabo
Great place altogether! Well kept grass and clean facilities. The RV's were all parked orderly and we had a great time, even with the large group as we had. It is also very secure to be out at night. The lighting o the streets was great!
Matt Thorn
Easy in and easy out. Excellent help at the gate. Beautiful park and fabulous facilities. Definitely going to be back when it gets cooler. 🥵 …
arkansasvinny
Beautiful location with trees and the Arkansas River for fishing and boating. Close to Two Rivers park for walks, running, biking or just watching the wildlife. Pinnacle Mountain State Park just down the road!
And, Only 10 minutes away from major restaurants, grocery stores and shopping.
Facilities are also great! For the price, this location can not be beat!
Benny Goodwin
Beautiful park with spacious campsites.
Jim
Beautiful park close to town, but you would never know it. It's a COE park, and as always it is clean and lovely. The price is extremely reasonable. I will be back.
Adrienne Mesko
Beautiful campground with river views. Clean, spacious, quiet. Can't wait to go back.
Cathy Mathyssen
I love Maumelle Park. It's close enough to the city if you forgot something, but far enough away to feel like you are out in nature. We love to sit and watch the boats on the river and there are trails nearby for us to explore.
Julia Staley
This was a great park. The drive down here was worth it as you drive through a beautiful neighborhood. We were paying through but we'll be back someday and stay longer.
Julian stirbing
We enjoyed a quick overnight stay in our tent. We had a beautiful early morning view before we got up to leave. Decent bath house and restrooms too.
Sue Fowlkes
Best campground even though no sewer!
Melissa Holcomb
Green and shady, well maintained, good showers, nice entrance staff. We came on a warm Monday night in October and found plenty of sites, but many are reservable. Thank goodness for Google since this Corps of Engineers park wasn't on our AAA map.
Betty S Jeffers
Made reservations online because I knew I would be late getting there and couldn't find my spot. Otherwise it was good. Hot showers. Quiet.
Sherry Shepherd
Spent two weeks. Right on the river. Park staff very accommodating and friendly. The only negative I can say (and no one can do anything about it) is there are many Canadian geese that call the park home and therefore much goose poop.
Christian DeVries
Nice park with plenty of room to spread out. We have experienced some rednecks here with backwards attitudes. But 95% positive.
Vickie Brown
This is an attractive park on the Arkansas River. We enjoyed our stay even though it rained several times during our days camping. We had a beautiful view of the river.
Toshana Dixon
Nice place. Lots of agressive ants near Loop B pull thru spaces. Dumpsters are pretty far from all the spaces and not near dump stations. 1 dump station right next to loop B pull thru spaces which is nice. Boat launch is nice and roomy!
Joyce Miller
Very nice park. Clean and quiet. This is the second time we have stayed here. Love watching the barges travel up and down the river.
Rocky Pritchard
It's average. Spaces are set up weird at least in "D" loop. Ours had a lot of trash from the previous occupant . River is nice ! Saw a barge navigate through while we were sitting by the water.
John Roshio
Awesome place. VERY reasonable. Clean
Candice Johnson
It's a beautiful RV Park where you can go and rest and relax and fish and just enjoy nature my mother-in-law has been camping there for 2 weeks now and it's totally and utterly enjoying herself she's rested happy and wants to do it another two weeks I personally would do another two weeks myself so I recommend you go and visit for yourself and see the wonderfulness have it all
Bryant Moyer

Great place for group picnic.
Jill Adams
We had a nice, peaceful, pull-through spot by the river and close to the boat dock. It had a picnic table and grill area.
No dump station, though.
Danella Grant
Maumelle Park is located in Little Rock, Arkansas on the Arkansas River. It is a beautiful campground with camping, pavilions for picnicking, playgrounds with slides and swings for all ages and a wonderful place to walk or ride your bike. It's perfect for families and close to groceries, restaurants and shopping. There are many places to visit in Little Rock...museums, Clinton Library and more plus many activities. You will be glad you went to Maumelle Park! Memories are waiting!!
Miguel A. Alvarez
It's at the height of winter, on a cloudy day, when I visited for the first time. So I'm guessing it's going to be awesome come spring and fall with all the trees around. The facilities look great and the river view spectacular.

Very nice RV park. Right on the river, lots of trees, lots of space between spots. Only down is no sewer hook-ups, just a dump station, and no WiFi or cable. But at the price, it was wonderful!
Meagan McK (MM)
Wonderful atmosphere alongside the river. I do wish there were more playground areas for children, but as far as a peaceful, family friendly campground, it's excellent.
