Quite and peaceful. I expected more campers sharing the site, but I had it to myself. It can seem hidden to people new to the area, but if you park in the upper parking lot (3-4 car capacity), it is just behind the lot. Don't take the side walk. Go down the rocks and follow the path straight.

We enjoyed our short hiking. 😊 …

My 13 year old daughter and I decided last second to go camping. We packed up at sunset wondered around to all the other camp site which were full or closed. And thank goodness because it led us to this one!!!! Beautifully kept up! Clean! Spacious! We had such a great time. My daughter and I are use to roughing it. So that fact of no water, electricity, or cell service didn't bother us a bit. We like it that way!!!
I WILL BE BACK AGAIN!!!!

Description said no water. Bring your own. Toilets were clean. Campsites were nice. Will definitely be back.

Had an amazing time camping here. The grounds are clean and it is easy to reserve the entire sight.

Beautiful site. There is no running water of any kind so remember to bring plenty for drinking and cleaning.

Nice escape from the heat of Las Vegas! Large groups can reserve the biggest camp area, the rest are first come, first serve. Tent pads make it easy to set up on flat land. No running water, so make sure to bring what you need. Otherwise, good views and cool breezes.

Beautiful any time of year, with summer being the most verdant. These particular photos were taken in late August.

Wonderful place to get away from it all and relax. The sites are wonderfully laid out and the walking trails are a fun challenge.

Group camping with lots of space. All of the pictures posted are from the McNutt site. It doesn’t have the best view compared to other ones but the rate is only $60 a night and has room for 7 tents, seating for about 25. There were no fires permitted because of the fire risks at this time but we were able to use a portable stove. Bring water for hand washing, the water was not turned on for campers.

It's a very nice campground with picnic tables and bathrooms. No running water or electric.
Honestly, my only complaint is that is right by the road and you will hear loud motorcycles driving by all night long. Hard to sleep.

Beautiful and spacious campsite. The view of Mummy Mountain is amazing. Downside is that there is no running water but luckily I packed plenty. I will likely camp here again. From the site, I took a hiking trail on my bike decending about 2500 feet down and had my wife pick me up at the bottom. I'll likely do that again as well.

Nice campsite. No host as far as I can tell. The trash bins are small for sites meant for 40 people so plan on handling that your self or schlep it out. The site was dirty and outhouses where also. We had people trying to squat in our spot when we arrived and some showed up in the late evening. I would only return when our group gets to big for any of the other grounds near by.

Really pretty! Lots of room, close to the bathrooms and while there are plenty of trees I recommend you bring shade structures. Also, no water! Bring more water than you think you'll need!

This is a great place for a large group to camp. Church groups, school groups, family reunions etc. There are vault toilets. Each spot is furnished with LARGE charcoal grills and fire rings.

Well groomed and looked well taken care of. Lots of picnic areas, parking, campsites. We didn't camp there as it was closed but we walked past it. Would campus there though.

Clean campgrounds that are well maintained by the forest service. A must for large group camping around vegas

So beautiful here. This week was a bit full.
But the forest is so lovely this time of year. The breeze filled with the fragrance of fall.
The stars seems so close,I could almost reach out and caress them.
