Nice park, they seem to have a lot of planned events coming up. Miniature golf course on site. Disc golf course. Nice lake for fishing and boating/kayaking. Campgrounds are pretty fun. Lots of trails for golf carts/walking/biking. Roads could use some pavement, dust kicks up pretty easily. Some sites are in need of leveling. Price are different for certain sites, so ask about each individual site.

This is a difficult one to review. The facilities and property were well maintained, so kudos for that, but the topography and layout of some campsites on Whitetail were tertible. The gravel pad on our site in Whitetail was not level or sufficient in size. It was long enough to accommodate our small RV (26') but we barely had enough room for our picnic table anywhere on our site. Also, the electric and water hookups were located too far away from the pad. I had to buy a 30a extension cable and did not have enough hose for the water. The layout of some sites is just unacceptable...they should not even reserve them. Having said that the grounds themselves, the scenery, the pavillions, the boat ramp, and the lake are beautiful. Staff in the camp store were very polite and helpful, too.

We loved West Boggs Campground! Nice camping areas (we had full hookup!), hiking trails, multiple playgrounds, beautiful lake, golf course next door....we will definitely make this a yearly campsite!

The lake is beautiful. The campsites are good for the most part. Some of them are pretty crowded. The shower houses are all very dated and dirty. The lighting in them is terrible at night. The dumpstation is also a problem. You can't hook the hose up to spray out your tanks and you can't put the end of your dump hose down in the ground to empty it.

Never have camped or boated here, we have only ever sun bathed on the beach or swim. We also attend fireworks every 3rd of July. Great place to be.

Staff is friendly helpful,shower house has hot water with good pressure,they have several play areas,they have bike paths,pet friendly,pretty clean,and swimming,I don't know if they still have but you use to be able to rent paddle boats.plenty of shelters for picnic's,you can bring your boat for ski, tubing ,or fishing,also camping. And fireworks every 4th of July.

Boggs campground. Its huge! The lake, music fest(blues), trails, wildlife, flowers,, abundant walking areas, hills,wooded arras, putt putt golf, disc golf. All areas we abundantly enjoyed and were thankful to find to be so very very nice and well maintained. 2 thumbs way up! Thanks Jameson and Boggs lake!

This park has several but short hiking trails. Be careful of kids on golf carts flying around trails. Roads inside park definitely need repaired. Plenty of activities for families, see PuttPutt store for activity posting. Plenty of camping site options for all types of camping.

The scenery is beautiful and it's a very clean park... Camp sites look really nice but a lot of algie in the lake. That makes it hard to fish off shore.

Its actually a nice park with lots of activities for kids, but the sites are too close together. And for some unknown reason, the put the electric and water hookups at the front of the sites, so the cable for your camper is not going to reach. We arrived with a fridge full of food, so we were facing a disaster. I wouldve given this place 2 stars, but when addressed about the hookup location problem, they kindly let me borrow an extension cable. Also, theres alot of golf carts and kids. Kind of a party athmosphere. If youre unto silent and serene, this probably isnt the best place for you.

So special to my little family! One of Indianas hidden treasures! We honestly do not swim. But there is PLENTY more to do here. The park for the kids is fantastic! They have events and follow cdc guidelines well! Great people!

The employees were much more polite than they were last summer. The park has great views and is very clean, even the bathrooms were decent. We did run out of TP tho and the showers were scolding hot, definitely a safety hazard there, and there were no trash cans anywhere. They definitely cater more to campers & RVs, with some crammed together and small sites and expecting everyone to use their own TP, showers and trash cans. But campgrounds are becoming more like that, but overall we had a great time and the issues were few.

Great park. We have our Indiana Guard Reserve picnic there in the summer and they don't charge us admission. Many of our people camp, but I just come for the picnic. Nice wooded camping spots. Bathrooms are close to everything. There is a beach and I am told boating and fishing is good.

My wife and I are tent campers. This was our first visit to West Boggs Park. The reason for the visit was to check out camping. It is just a short 30 minute trip from our place. It looks like it has been set up mostly for RVs. The campsites seem very close together. Especially for tent campers. A number of folks that my wife work with rave about this park. The day we went was very rainy. They publish lots of activities for kids. I expect that the rain was a major damper on the activities. I can't really comment on facilities such as bathrooms or showers, since we didn't use them. We like to tent camp and we are senior citizens as well so kids activities aren't really of interest to us. But as I mentioned friends of my wife love this place.

We enjoyed a wonderfully restful, quiet weekend camping here (it didn't hurt that the weather played along with cool temps for the end of July). Our site was laid out nicely with full hook-ups, and we enjoyed a view of the lake. Our campsite was quite roomy, and the other campers were friendly. Quiet time comes around at 11:00 p.m.--and it was quiet! No loud drunks partying all night--what a novel concept. The park is nicely landscaped, the roads through the park are paved, with the road into our camping area graveled. I took advantage of one of the trails to walk our dogs. While we didn't boat (or fish or swim), we saw many others who were.

We camped there for 2 nights. The staff was very helpful. The park is overall in good condition. The trees could use some trimming and the camping spot we had needs some leveling. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, it's the perfect place to go.

They could have thought it out better for the water and electric poles. We had to buy extra hose like 40 ft extra and burrowed 2 25 ft electric cords to have power. But in all a great place to come.

I love it so much except for what's going on in the lake. If I could I would live at Boggs, I used to live across Boggs and the sunsets are so beautiful. Some trails do need to be filled in with more gravel and the new playground by the beach, the zipline is broke. The part where you sit on keeps going backwards and won't stay at the platform where the kids get on. The bathrooms could use some work. It's truly is a beautiful spot to camp. The top complaint I have is how late at night, not saying you need to change the time for driving a golf cart but some golf carts with radios go by with their radio turned up all the way and everything. We wanna camp in red fox it's always taken but that fine because my family enjoys camping at bobcat.

Went here as a kid with grandparents, aunt and uncle, and sister. Great week coming from a young teenage boy. Caught lots of crappie and other panfish. 40 years later, looking forward to another visit.

I have never been till this day and it was lots of fun and not to crowded and my kids had a blast they playground there is amazing .there are showers in the bathroom and camp lots and also a cabin and some trailers that you can rent definitely will be going back nex time I'm bringing my fishing gear too

This is the 2nd best campground in all of Indiana. I've been here several times during my younger childhood. I almost got sucked up by a terrible storm, I played golf here, I drove all over the park, I swam, I caught over 30 fish in one day, I've just sat and watched the sunset coming over the lake. They're some of the most memorable experiences of my life, and I'll never forget them.

Great place, beautiful lake, nice folks, had Halloween celebration, bought candy, bathroom showers need updating, but overall had a great visit. Until we moved our rig to empty the potty, came back and our rug, electric cord, charcoal bags, cords of wood were missing. That wasn't fun. Office said nothing we can do, not I'm sorry that happened. Be human show some compassion! We did meet up with a red golf cart that had our rug & cord so we got that back. They said they were going to return it to the office.

We went today and scoped out the park, we haven't stayed there yet. But we have some family that have a permanent spot, after driving and getting a tour of the park we decided to reserve a campsite for July. From what we seen there is a lot of activities to do there. Looking forward to our adventure.

West Boggs Park is ok except their roads are full of pot holes and many are gravel. They need to do some major road work. It's been like this I know for2 years, maybe longer.

Nice park located on West Bogg Lake. Lots of camp sites but most are water and electric only. Overall the campground is okay but 2 of the 3 bathhouses are in need of some serious renovations and if you don't mind a luke warm shower.

Very nice people to deal with. Very large campground. We stayed on site 28 which is on a peninsula on a very large lake. We also boated while there. Amish restaurant right next door . We will definitely be back.

Great family fun park. The beach is great, the new play ground is great, the bathrooms and showers are clean. This was our first time camping here and will definitely be back.

Great Park in Southwest Indiana. You can camp for a day, a week, or long term. The bathrooms are above average. There is boat dock and a small beach. The park has some designated places for people to gather outside. Until recently, I had a camper in the long term area, where the plumbing is permanently hooked up. You could live out there. The employees are very nice and helpful. A must see for campers! (and check out Lakeview, a great Amish restaurant down the road)

Looks like a great place. Was here early in the year before things started up for the year so it was pretty barren and empty. Bathrooms were clean and maintained, though. Difficult to figure out where to go for just one quick overnight stay.

Beautiful weather. Our favorite place to camp. Camper next to us caught a lot of fish. When he left he threw them in the lake to rot and the smell was bad. The lake has a very bad algae problem.

Well for one there is alot,of golf carts that are being driven by young kids and flying thru the park. I know the DNR pulls people in a vehicle over for going too fast. How about those young people who aren't really suppose to be driving those golf carts. Pull them over.....thats my 2 cents.

Fishing is fun but if you are looking for bass don't expect many legal sized ones yet. They do not seem to be growing as fast as the last time the lake was drained and refilled.

This is a very big campgrounds where is feels like you are in town there is traffic going past your camper all day and our lot white tail #13 has a plugged sewer line which the employees told is that it has been that way for over a year there was no offer to move us or correct this issue this place is all about revenue not keeping the customer happy
