Recently visited this campground with my partner & dog (pet friendly), enjoyed our time so much we decided to purchase a seasonal site. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The campground also has various amenities… onsite laundry, camping store, swimming & fishing pond just to name a few. Highly recommended!

What a great campground! Everything was very well kept and clean. We met the new owners and you can tell that they really care about the property and your stay. They have been fixing it up since they bought it and you can tell it is being upgraded from the nice beach area and playground to the brand new picnic tables and very well kept grounds. They had events for the kids so their was no shortage of things to keep them entertained. Overall great experience we will be back for sure.

This was our very first camping trip owning an RV! And it was fantastic! Once we pulled in, we were checked in quick, and given an escort to our campsite. Our utilities were a little far from our space to park and they were gracious enough to lend us some gear. All throughout the weekend we saw all of the workers cheery and chatting with everyone. From what some of our neighbors said they are remodeling and park. It looked great to us! Our dogs loved the fenced in dog park. They had a blast. We are very anxious to return! What a wonderful experience.

I am a Seasonal camper, I was getting ready to move my trailer somewhere else, However the new owners they did a wonderful job Upgrading the campground. Cleaner and better than previous owners. I live in New York and I go up there to relax. If I was retired I would be there until closing. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Give them A+++. Wishing the Owners all the luck in the world, prosperity in their new adventure. Thank you

I need more stars!! The new owners are working incredibly hard..always driving through checking on things, mowing lawns, raking the beach, yet always find a moment to say HI and chat. The set up of the grounds is ideal. sites in the woodsy area and gorgeous sunny pull through sites surround a center field, play area. Power and water hook ups strong, there is even a grey water hook up at the sites. Campground style Bathrooms are clean, and the push button showers refreshing. There are walking trails, 2 ponds, a play area, a rec room (was nice to see this room always open and welcoming) a small camp store with supplies, propane, easy access dump station. There are chairs and umbrellas on the beach area! There are horse shoes and an easy to reach dumpster. Lots of room to wander and walk your pooch! Very peaceful and friendly. AND they went above and beyond in their kindness. We broke down about 7 miles from the campground. AAA would not tow our trailer, only the van. We didn't know what to do and chanced calling the campground to see if they could help. They got us connected with an excellent tow service, were able to accommodate the trailer, doggie and myself while Hubby dealt with the van. I felt safe and comfortable. So very nice to know there is someone you can turn to when the tow vehicle goes chugga chugga chugga grooooaaannnn. I fell in love with this campground...if that is a possible thing and look forward to another visit in the near future

At the end of our stay we will have completed 2 months. We are just beginning our second month and we have to say The Quarry Campground is exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, friendly, dog friendly, local to great restaurants, lakes, shopping and grocery stores. Each weekend there are many tent and camper sites that fill up and lots going on. There are weekend activities including cookouts, concerts, ice cream trucks, hay rides, socials, campfires by the lake with s'mores and more. We see people fishing and utilizing the beach area and we often hike the two trails that surround both pond areas. We see the owners everyday working so hard to maintain and continue to develop this amazing space. We're looking forward to seeing all the new developments and have booked our 2023 season. It's a little gem in the making.

Great experience at The Quarry. One of the top campgrounds in CT, in my opinion. Staff is really great, sites are very clean. We'll definitely visit again!

My brother and nephew have campers at the Quarry so I will be visiting often. The new owner has done a wonderful job updating the property A+. There is a playground for the kids and from what I understand there will be activities for the kids also. I highly recommend you visit The Quarry. Not only has it been updated the new owners care about the vacationers who reside in the park. Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

The new owners have put so much work into this campground! I’ve stayed there twice and have been incredibly happy both times. Definitely thinking about a seasonal site next year since I never want to leave when I’m there…

We are neighbors to this campground and are super excited to have young enthusiastic new owners. Place looks great..... I live next door so I may not camp but my family will definetly get day passes to enjoy the playground, swimming and things they will be hosting.

We visited the campground over the weekend as part of a trip to New England for the college lacrosse championships. We arrived late on Friday so had a delayed check in (passes were posted on the board). Everything has been re-done. We have a Leprechaun 319MB motor home (33 ft long) and used one of the pull through sites which are new. Bathrooms appeared to be refurbished and the shower was great!! The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were very attentive. I would wholeheartedly recommend and will be coming back.

The new owners of the campground are very helpful in making your stay comfortable. The power has all been upgraded. The sites are very nice also. They have an upgraded playground for the kids and more kid activities. Come on people, let's go camping!!!
