A really cool old secret place that is owned by the city of Melrose MA. This place was first built in 1933 by the Works Progress administration during the great depression. Several beautiful ponds, a golf course and hiking trails. You can hike to the tower (built during WWII to watch out for German submarines) and have a long range view out to the ocean

Great golf course rates are way too high on weekends and holidays 🙄 …

Winter: Sledding was fun, good size hills for kids. There’s a bigger hill in the distance. Plenty of parking.

I go there just for walk. Great place with huge spread, excellent layout and view. I don't go to play golf. So, can't say anything about it.

I came here not for golf but for prom pictures and also for an eight grade dance. The place is lovely with pretty views. The space inside for functions is very nice and the food was good, according to those who attended (8th graders and chaperones).
