The employees are really friendly. I had the meatball sub with tomato sauce. That was excellent! I initially wanted to go to try their lobster tails. I was not disappointed! It's $8 but I think it was well worth the money. It felt like it weighed two pounds. I wanted to have the vanilla custard and they only had the ricotta which I was apprehensive about, but boy was it good! A very nice treat

Frankie's is to die for!!! The food is incredibly fresh and the flavor is so true and authentic! I had a village (eggplant, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers and balsamic, on semolina bread). The eggplant was fresh, not full of grease. The bread was so fresh and delicious. I loved every bite. This place is truly a hidden gem. I can't wait to go back and try more that they offer.

I think I just found my new favorite sandwich place! I just tried this place for the first time on my lunch break. They have more than just sandwiches. It was a tough call on what to try first, but I settled on the Figgy Piggy. I had prosciutto (and a lot of it!), burrata, arugula, balsamic glaze and fig spread. That first bite was so good, I closed my eyes and was in heaven! I can't wait to try some of their other sandwiches now! And the coffee soda was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but definitely did.

Finally got a chance to go here and it was worth the wait. Francesca was friendly and helpful. The sandwiches (got the Fat Boy and Chicken cutlet with a la vodka sauce) were great sizes and everything seemed fresh. This place is going to be a hit for sure. Give this place a try and support them.

🤌🏼🤌🏼 Right from the start when you walk in you just get a fresh, fun and funky vibe!! Your eyes are met with all of the Italian pastries and cookies and New York cheesecake from Uncle Louie G’s (which are ALL amazing) and then you land upon the glorious deli counter for Frankie’s. Sooooo many options to try but for our first time we decided on the Fat Boy. So fresh and tasty and pretty easy on the eyes too. Between Uncle Louie G’s and Frankie’s you feel like you are home….if you grew up in a New York Italian home 😂😂 it’s amazing!! Go give them a try.

Did not appreciate that no one greeted me for awhile while I stood at deli and awkwardly began looking around because I assumed I had missed some instructions. Aside from that, it's a cute deli with salads, pastas, ice-cream, Sandwiches and more. I modified a sandwich and perhaps thats why it wasn't quite balanced but the ingredients were fresh. Will try again but definitely need better customer service!

Did not disappoint. Got the Fat Boy with hot peppers. The bread, meat, cheese… everything was fresh and came together sooooo well, especially with the balsamic glaze. My wife got an eggplant sandwich, also amazing, so thinly breaded! We live in Channelside and come this way for Costco trips… going to be making more frequent Costco trips just to come here!

I ordered a lobster tail and an Italian sausage and peppers Sandwich. The lobster tail was amazing it made me miss the New York bakery’s. The Italian sausage was good and full meat. The bread had a nice chew. The peppers could have used some seasoning but was still good. My only complaint would be that this cost 25 dollars. It was very good but not 25 dollars good. Definitely worth checking out.

Some might find the atmosphere cramped but that's a good deli, grab and go. They've got some of the best prosciutto I've had in a long time. The idea that this is the freshest cured meats you will probably ever have is ironic. That pales in comparison to their bread. Solid crust to hold it all together and a soft almost flaky inside to soak up the juices so they can be enjoyed together. Fresh mozzarella still sweating out topped with basil as the garnish. That simply makes the best sandwich you should ever have. Mix that with their ridiculous amount of ice cream options. Imagine Baskin and Robbins and Cold Stone decided to go into business together. From vanilla and pistachio to something called monster that is a shade of blue that might not be edible but I definitely got a bowl. It's just a fun place to get a late lunch or an early dinner to take out to the beach to watch it set on the sun. Not that I need a reason to have a delicious sandwich with some niche drinks and ice cream that questions whether it's food but it tastes good. Good food, good people.

We had Frankie's cater for a party. We ordered Italian subs, pepperoni roll, antipasto salad and pasta salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and such good quality! The antipasto platter was my favorite. All of the guests kept commenting on how much they loved the food. We can't wait to use Frankie's again for our next party!

This place is amazing! So many great gluten free options! This was the first good sub I've had in over 10 years. My kids said the gluten free pasta was amazing as well. I felt their prices were reasonable for the sandwiches and pasta as well. The ice cream seems way over priced but I would eat sandwiches from Frankie's every day if I could.

What an awesome spot! They were open right until the hurricane hit when everything else was closed. Food was amazing and the employees were great! Definitely going to be coming here on the regular. The açaí bowl was perfect and the Buff Buff pass sandwich was DANK. You won’t be disappointed with this place!!

This was my first time ordering(I used UberEats). I really wanted some sort of pasta with tomato sauce and came across Frankie's on the restaurant list. Well they had just that on the menu! I wasn't expecting the pasta to hold up being that it was a delivery, but it did! The pasta was fresh, the tomato sauce was perfect. I'll definitely be ordering again, but I'll probably stop by next time to try some ice cream too. :)

Excellent food. The chicken cutlets are very good. The pizza was excellent. The crust had some nice color to it and good mouth feel. It will take a few months to try all the items that I want to try. Well worth the time and effort.

Our first visit here. It is a small place so, don't expect a full dining experience. There is a great selection of ice cream and desert treats on one side. The deli counter is to the back where you see friendly people busily taking your order. *Review the laminated menu and be prepared to place your order. *The food is fresh and prepared in a reasonable time...WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN to this place to experience the many ice cream, desert and food options.

Everything was perfect! We got a couple of sandwiches, a pizza, an arancini, and ice creams and absolutely everything was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned! The service and atmosphere were great too! We will have to try everything on the menu! Update: the sandwiches are great, pasta seems a bit overcooked, but sauce is nice. They berate their employees in front of customers and it seems inappropriate and feels uncomfortable. Some ice creams are a little gummy sometimes, maybe sitting too long, but others are great! Reply: I didn't see any way to reply to the owner reply, so I should clarify that the ice cream was spumoni and the parts scooped from the top part of the tub were gummy. A few other flavors had a similar look to them, like when ice cream is exposed to dry air for too long in a freezer, but that's my favorite flavor anywhere and I figured it would still taste good.

Just had an amazing dinner @ Frankie’s Deli. My husband had the bolognese pasta and I had a Boda Bing sandwich. Everything was so fresh and tasty! The pasta melts in your mouth . The staff was exceptional and went out of there way to make it and awesome first time experience! Reminded me of the Italian delis from Jersey. We will definitely be back!

We’ve heard great things about the place from Funtampa and had to try it out! The 2 sandwiches we tried were delicious- the roast beef and the turkey. Very fresh and tasty. Good quality meats and ingredients and the sandwiches were huge. The only thing I would have changed is that I would have preferred a different cheese on my roast beef sandwich, instead of American- but the menu says no substitutions. But all in all, I was super satisfied with the food and would definitely come back.

My first time here. I ordered the Delancy Street. It's stacked pastrami on rye. With chips and tip it was over $20.00. It ain't cheap but it's the closest thing to a NY deli I have been to. Worth every penny.

I have been meaning to come here and today was the day! I picked up an order for take out, I knew we wanted that award winning sandwich, The Fat Boy. A little overwhelmed with options, I quickly scanned the menu and went with a pastrami on rye. It was a little pricey, so I was really hoping it would hold up well on the car ride home. You guys. Listen up. This was hands down the best pastrami I have ever had!! Sorry, Katz. I know I know… I shouldn’t but I am. Wow! This is the real deal right here in the outskirts of Tampa. And honestly when we opened the sandwiches, suddenly the price was irrelevant. I would have paid double for a 1/2 pound of that pastrami alone. And yes, the Fat Boy deserves Sandwich of the Year award! Do not try to eat a whole one alone. You’ll barely make it through the first half. We’ll done, Frankie’s 👏🏼

This place does NOT disappoint!! I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re a northern food lover of all things hard to find, this is the place for you. We ordered the Brooklyn, Paeson, and the eggplant parm.The rye was so fresh, the sandwich was piled high with pastrami. The Paeson had fresh Mozz, not that shredded generic cheese. Reall Mozz! Don’t get me started on the homemade cannolis. Excellent first experience!

A good place that needs to do a few things. Signage is non-existent. Put food menus on the wall, especially the ice cream. Those little tiny signs are almost unreadable. The cashier was awesome. I am somewhat handicapped and she was nice enough to bring our sandwiches out to us. The bread was very nice. The salads were as well. My Fat Boy was way overloaded. I say that because it's my opinion less is more sometimes. I had an 1-1/2 inches of meat. It would been better to have 1/2 that and let your customers taste the other fine ingredients of a well-made ssndwich! (Your food costs will go down as well.) You also need small plastic bags for sandwichs. Both for to go orders and for doggie bags! Paper wrappings are okay, the plastic bags will let us enjoy our leftovers. Loved the selection of breads and salads. You guys are a winner!

Food has been pretty good since we have been ordering. Why a 4? Well, today ( i dont know if it is becase we order early) the bagel and roll were stale, but of course i ate it since i was really looking forward for that becspk! We just wish it was fresh. They have a lot of great deli, ice cream, and dessert options. Everyone there is very nice. The food is all made really fresh. The pineapple chicken is awesome. I got the 6 inch sandwich and could hardly finish it. Bread was crunchy and fresh and the meatballs were a great size. The sandwich could have used more sauce but you can just ask for that and problem solved! Would recommend coming here for lunch dinner or dessert!

We visited this place for a sweet treat, excited about a new local ice cream spot. The menu is insane, and it took my little family about 15 minutes to narrow down our selections. I selected a more basic option - a chocolate peanut butter milkshake made with one of the flavors of hard ice cream. It was so yummy, and I’ve been craving that rich flavor every day since having it. I found the portions to be very large - I asked for the smallest serving of ice cream for my little one and it was a good 2 scoops. There was such a vast selection of toppings, ice cream, Italian ice, bakery items …the list is endless. I will absolutely return so I can continue trying everything they have to offer.

Finally made it here. Enjoyed looking at all the pastries and goodies upon entering. Ordered The Godfather roast beef sub. Was very good, flavorful, nice roll (and a bit pricey for half but …). Saw they make their own bagels and rolls so took home an everything bagel for tomorrow morning. My grandson would love this place for an ice cream fix so will be back when he visits.

I ordered delivery. We got two sandwiches- the meatball sub and the Brooklyn. They use carnage deli pastrami. I look forward to visiting in person. I have to give the sandwiches my highest praise. Finally visited and tried a bunch of things to the tune of about $100 😅. Pros: the sandwiches are fabulous and so filling, the pepperoni rolls are really good and the ice cream selection is HUGE. Cons: I wasn't a huge fan of the bagels we brought home... maybe it was a fluke, but the bottoms were already a little burnt so when I toasted them, they got hard. The pizza crust was also a bit underdone, however the flavors were great and you can't beat the fresh mozzarella. Overall worth the visit!

Time Matters

Frankie’s is the best spot for lunch. We stop in often for lunch and the staff is always so friendly and attentive with each of our orders. I catered lunch for my staff from them, ordered the day before and they had it all ready for the time we set up. The owner delivered personally and even brought some desserts! We loved it and will keep coming back!!

My husband works for UberEats and had a pick up here. After delivery he immediately told me about how amazing everything looked, so we decided to try it for lunch today! OMG! It was amazing! My husband got a turkey (Williamsburg) and I got the Ginzo. Yes, the bread is tougher than what people might be use to, but it honestly makes the sandwich that much better! The way they take simple, fresh ingredients and put them together is outstanding. We are sandwich lovers and typically stick to our “norms”, but this place is 100% our new go to place for desserts and sandwiches. I can’t wait to try the pasta, pizza, etc! Everyone was friendly and gave great recommendations! Worth every penny!

WOW!! Today I had the Brooklyn pastrami sandwich. It was the best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in the Tampa Bay Area! Awesome pastrami…It’s the real deal from Carnegie’s Deli in NY. So glad I don’t have to fly to New York to get a authentic NY pastrami sandwich. Happy I found this place so close to home in Riverview! This is an authentic Italian deli with homemade meatballs too! Great menu, with lots of choices from Italian sandwiches, fresh pasta, and pizza. I promise you will not be disappointed. It was so good… I didn’t have a chance to take a picture before it was all gone!

3 of us went here for an early dinner, had the "Don't break my balls" hot sandwich, the hot Brooklyn sandwich, Disco fries & the Aranchini. Everything was delicious. The meatballs were yummy. That Mariana sauce was quite unexpectedly light, bright & just amazing. We had ice cream, lobster claw, brownie & cheesecake for dessert. The owner came over to check & make sure we enjoyed our food. We had dinner here tonight. May I say that the food was Amazing! The Arancini Balls with the meat sauce...OMG! Outstanding! Disco Fries Outstanding as well! The minute I bit into my "Brooklyn" pastrami (Reuben) sandwich I closed my eyes and could swear I was back in N.Y.! My sister's had the "Break My Balls" subs & both LOVED them and raved about the meatballs! Service was on point & owner Enza was such a delight, making a point to come out from the kitchen and ask how everything was to everyone dining, not just our table, everyone in the establishment! This is definitely a must go to if you really love New York Italian food! The only regret is that we didn't take pictures! We will be seeing Enza & her crew in the very near future! Thank you Enza for making our dinner experience wonderful and most importantly, Delicious 😋! To "Love Love", Perhaps you should visit your doctor? My wife and I finally got to try Frankie's Italian Deli, we certainly weren't disappointed. We have lived in Florida for almost 20 years, after living up north our whole lives. We have looked for a place like this since we moved here, but they all fall short. Frankie's uses the best ingredients, take pride in their establishment, but most of all, make sure the customer is always satisfied. There sandwiches are the BEST IN FLORIDA! Fresh mozzarella, meatballs handmade with beef, veal, and pork. I could go on and on. We went in on a day when the owner Enza was there, we felt like we knew her for years. This is a family business, she along with with her daughter Francesca, and the staff are the nicest most friendliest people you want to meet. They are proud of their food, and it shows. We love the food and energy of everyone who works there. The place is spotless, and you literally want everything on the menu. We intend to do just that.

My husband and I - both originally from NY - absolutely LOVE Frankie’s! The food is fresh and delicious, and they offer options that we have never been able to find in florida since we moved down here from Long Island. It’s a taste of home, especially the bacon egg and cheese and the bagels - omg the bagels!! The owners treat us like family. Bonus of course is the amazing ice cream and pastries that they offer as well. There’s something to truly appreciate about family owned businesses. We are so thankful to have Frankie’s local to us!

I fully support the deli however a few suggestions. We ordered the peasano sandwich, pasta w/vodka sauce, cannoli and cheesecake. The deserts were amazing and I highly recommend. The sandwich should have the option to put a thin layer of prosciutto, garlic and instead of a balsamic glaze, a quality balsamic vinegar would be more complimentary (salty & savory). Unfortunately, the pasta that was delivered was completely overdone and you couldn’t taste the sauce, all you could taste was the starch. Next time I may try it in store, in hopes it’s better but I definitely will not order this for delivery, it was completely inedible. Happy to see a new Italian deli in Tampa and look forward to trying more of your menu. Thank you for your hard and efforts!

OK so here we go Frankies deli is new to the area I walked in not knowing what to expect little did I know I was gonna run into a authentic Italian family from Long Island NY🗽 who knows their stuff everything we ordered was excellent I recommend the Carnegie‘s pastrami sandwich and also the Rice bowl was excellent and you can never go wrong with an order of Disco Fries 💃🏼🕺 Not to mention they have every type of Italian ice or ice cream you can imagine as well as a nice selection of pastries including New York’s famous Junior‘s cheesecakes So save yourself a trip from going all the way to New York stop in to Frankies deli who gives you a little taste of everything without the hassle of having to go back to New York City great job guys 👏👏👏
