Expensive but worth it. I had El Presidente and it was insanely good. The bread had a good crunch and the pulled port was smoky and fatty and everything I wanted. Glad I didn’t eat it in the car because it was a complete mess in the best way. Plus they have Guanciale, which I can’t find anywhere else. Will definitely be back.

Transcendental doesn't even explain how good this place is. Coming through on the way to BC on a whim was the best decision of my life. Kim is like the mother you always wanted, and the food is... I don't have words for how good it is. Come here. Get the pork belly and the danger fries. You will not regret it.

This was easily my top3 burgers in Seattle. The quality of pork meat is just top. The Spectacular contains both pulled pork and pork belly. The fat of the belly is surprisingly not that greasy. Also, the lady working there was very friendly and pleasant. She alone will earn a star.

If you plan on eating at The Swinery I recommend you clear your schedule for the rest of the day. The only reasonable thing to do after eating one of these sandwiches is to take a nap. I wish I was kidding. They are dangerously indulgent & rich, with incredible flavor from the smoky, well seasoned, and high quality meat. The sandwiches might actually be underpriced for the portion size & calorie density. If you’ve never been, you have to try this place. Lady Jaye gets a lot of hype for being a trendy butcher & BBQ restaurant, but The Swinery has been doing it a lot longer & doesn’t get nearly enough respect after all these years. This is one of the best eateries in Seattle period.

So first time stopping in today. The Cubano was awesome. It doesn't quite scratch the itch I get for a Cubano from Sandy's (Key West) BUT it was amazing and it's sandwiches like those where even when I reduce my meat consumption, I won't ever go full vegetarian. I'll be back. I'll be telling my friends about this place.

Can't go wrong with anything on this menu but the value buy is the Swinery burger. So delicious and will definitely leave you full, or two meals if you don't want food coma. All the other items are good too but the swinery burger is standout. Patty was full of flavor and juicy. Our group ordered the spectacular, Banh mi (not authentic but still delicious), kalbi steak fries. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Average cost of each sandwich ranges from $13-$16 and the kalbi steak fries were $16.75. There's limited seating in the back with some cover with picnic table over vibes, perfect for the unusually hot and sunny day we were there. Reasonable prices for a local shop delivering awesome food. Thank you!

outlandishly good. everyone that comes to seattle to visit us is required to go to the Swinery with us... it's like "mike drop" quality. the fries are mindbendingly good. i think ive had every sandwich on the menu, and i've never been dissapointed. cute place, kind of a tight fit if you want to eat there, but cudos to Swinery, its super cozy and fun... not terribly expensive relative to the quality of the food....

Five stars because this is a neighborhood institution. I don't go often, but I did stop by recently as McDonalds dining room was closed (LOL this is true). A lot of people shop here. I decided to go for a Presidente and danger fries, based on a review. I found the sandwich to be good in size, but not life-changing in flavor per the earlier review. One reason why is the danger fries are garlic and salt bombs, they overpowered the Presidente. Nothing wrong with that, but I had to take a salt/fatty break and that's saying something. They do the minced garlic cloves which I normally don't like - much prefer white sauce based garlic sauce, which would make the danger fries 11/10 but is more work. The presidente has a nice smoke taste when I tried it later. I wish it had more mayo. Not as good as Paseos, I wish it had a bit more of everything except the arugula. Also, you get a healthy portion of fries. Presidente + Fries $27 and change I think. Good for two meals.

I had high expectations of this place given the rave reviews about the selection, food and service. The Swinery exceeded all of it. In fact, this may well be one of the few places I'm willing to drive 45 minutes out for. It was my first time coming here and I came in the later afternoon. The lady behind the counter was busy slicing meat behind the counter and turned around to acknowledge me. She asked it it was my first time at the Swinery, offered recommendations and gave me time to make a decision without bothering me. I hear the Cubano is the popular item on the menu, but I was in the mood for Poutine and a side of Pork Belly. Both items did not disappoint. The Poutine was $11, but I think it was worth the price. It came in a large box with a gracious amount of gravy, cheese curds and crispy, fried french fries. It was so delicious and filling. I think this is something to be shared next time. The side of Pork Belly came in three small slices and lightly sprinkled in salt flakes. They were fried and the fat was still juicy. Everything was delicious and filling. The lady behind the counter was very nice. She recognized all her regular customers that came in and was very hospitable to new ones. Her personality was amazing and genuine. I think I'll come back for the Cubano and share some fries next time. I forgot to take home the Porterhouse Pork Chop & Smoked Bacon.

We came here because we heard the burgers were amazing but we were a little but underwhelmed. The guy behind the counter asked how we would like them cooked and we ordered medium but got burgers that were well done. The bun is too big for the patty and the texture of the party seemed like it have been overworked. The swine fries were good. No free water

This is just a little hole in the wall, but I had one of the best pork sandwiches that I've ever had. This place would get 5 stars, but it is pretty expensive and there's no real comfortable seating inside, so plan on taking your food to go. The sandwich was so good though, that I will definitely be going back.

This cute little butchers shop in west seattle serves one of the best fresh sandwiches. They open at 11am but i highly recommend calling them at 11 to place your order to pick up your fresh sandwiches else you will have a long wait time. We ordered their Swinery burger and their spectacular sandwich along with the danger fries. The sandwich and burgers were juicy and would melt in your mouth. I liked their danger fries but they did turn soggy cos of take out. Still had a lot of packed flavors and I enjoyed it all. Happy to have an amazing loval sandwich shop right here in West Seattle. Highly recommend.

If you want obscenely indulgent, greasy, artery-clogging pleasure, this is where you want to be. The sandwiches are one good reason to come here, in particular the cheesesteak - which is NOT in any way authentic Philadelphia style, but in fact better - and "El Presidente" which is a Caribbean-ish pork sandwich. The "rib & fry" uses pork belly ribs so it is extra fatty and rich. Honestly, eating here feels a bit like self-abuse, but don't we all do that occasionally? Additionally, the fresh and smoked meats are top-quality. They even have beef bacon, which for a place named after pigs, shows serious dedication to animal products. If you need guanciale, this is the place to go. Also, they've got smoked duck breast which is fantastic.

Honestly, the only sad thing about the Swinery is that it's in West Seattle and with the bridge out, it's hard to get to from anywhere in Seattle proper or north of Seattle. Otherwise, omgosh! I got the Supreme sandwich, and it was wonderful!! The crackling on the pork belly was perfect! The pulled pork on it was succulent and perfectly seasoned! The brioche bun was soft and yummy, the swiss cheese melted just right. We also got a side of pork belly... They salted it after cooking it, and I assume they salted it prior to cooking it... So it was a little too salty. I say, season the raw pork belly, but don't salt it afterwards. Guests should salt it themselves if they like salty food. However, all in all, it was absolutely wonderful! 🥰

Best burger..of.my.life. Of course had to add all the fixings including the pork belly. Will definitely be back. Stay away! They're all mine :) PS- The owner is usually working and this definitely has a neighborhood feel. Smaller inside, so plan to take them to-go and find a spot outdoors to enjoy!

I really dont even know where to begin with this review. I think the most important advice I can give you is to simply just get in your car and drive here as fast (and safely) as possible because it would be a shame to never try this place. My husband and I ordered the El Presidente and the regular fries and while it definitely was enough food for the both of us we would've easily devoured a sandwich each simply based on the flavor alone. I had pretty high expectations for The Swinery and they completely exceeded those and more. Such great flavor, such great service and I already can't wait to go back!

Two words: Lamb bacon I hadn’t had it in quite some time and I went in on Saturday, and luckily, they’d plan to have it in today (Thursday)! They were sweet enough to set a bit aside for me😍 Just made a great LBLTA sandwich! On Saturday, I grabbed their cheddar-jalapeño sausages to tied me until my lamb bacon run! Great service, wonderful meats and well worth a visit if you’ve made the trek to West Seattle Island.

The double B burger was five stars and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. However poutine was really really salty, both the gravy and fries which made it less enjoyable. The cheese curds in it were good though. I'm from Canada and been trying to find a great poutine in Seattle :(.The woman in the store was really friendly. Amazing Sandwiches Holy Jeez, the pork sandwiches here are amazing. Most of the food is super high quality, if not a bit pricey. But the prepared food is so worth the cost and the wait. Unbelievably delicious. The Swinery Spectacular is the biggest and best sandwich. It's absolutely in a league of its own and is a must-try item if you love pork. The Swine Fries are also phenomenal, dressed with pork fat, garlic, and chives. Perfectly salty. The Cubano was mediocre. Great bread, but half the size of the Spectacular (at the same price). Their version of the BLT is great as well. They offer tap water and cane sugar sodas to drink. I find their cooler meats to be a bit overpriced ($20/lb for most items). If you love pork, look no further for the best sandwiches you've probably never had.

The customer service was top notch and the food was to die for! While I prefer my bacon to be very crispy, the flavor and freshness of the meat made for a mouth watering snack, and the fried pork belly sent me to heaven. One visit for some snack food was all it took to make me a huge fan; I'll be back for sure!

This is the go to butcher in the neighborhood. Unbelievably good meats. They give great recommendations. I didn't know that a hangar steak was a thing, now it's my favorite cut. Super smokey meatballs were Hella bomb. The turkey is as good as I have ever had anywhere. Now the real deal, the kitchen will blow your socks off. Amazing sandwiches and fries that you can't beat. I think this is the best burger I ever had. And the one with pulled pork and pork belly is why you should come by. AWESOME

Update: Still the best sandwiches in Seattle, period. Love this place, they can't fix the bridge quick enough so I can come here more often. Awesome sandwiches, friendly staff, and they don't skimp on the meat.

Yum, our first visit and it was so good. Swine fries, cold day so eat them while they are hot. Cubano (sp) and Carolina sandwiches were tasty. Seating in back on nicer days, limited seating inside, with canned and bottled drinks.

Really good local place. Would love to pick up some deli meats next time. Between our group we had the BBQ pulled pork and the Carolina pulled pork, as well as the danger fries and the "regular" fries (still fried in the pork fat). The danger fries were good but really rich. If you're concerned about too much flavor, you can order the danger sauce on the side, which id do next time. Overall great food, nice nice service and a good vibe.

Great place for a pulled pork or ham sandwich. Just by the name you can tell they focus on meats. The place is quaint and clean. But there aren't a ton of options, not necessarily a bad thing but just know that if you are coming here you are getting a big stack of tasty meat. It feels very local and friendly I would go back for sure.

Quality ingredients combined with creative technique. This place isn't just a butchers shop, don't forget to check out their lunch menu too! If you, like me, hope to find the best swine on the coast- look no further! The west seattle swinery has only the most premium swine, conveniently located in west seattle (near seattle). I went here with my family recently and loved every bite of it. My son simply couldn't stop eating, so we ordered a few extra "dogs" to go! My daughter told me it was the best swine we've had all year, and I'm inclined to believe her! The swine was delicious, the staff was delightful, even my notoriously ornery husband enjoyed the ambiance. We came for swine, and we shall return for swine. My only advice: Be careful if you bring your son!

The garlic fries were intense! I can't believe I'm saying it but they were too garlicy. Not really sure you got $5 worth - felt more like they should have been $3. The B&B Burger was tasty and juicey. I will have to agree with everyone - it was a $13 burger that I had to pay Xtra for to get fries. I bit too pricey. Yes. Just, yes. The sandwiches here are what Panera aspires to be but falls well short. There are only a few stools, so don't show up with all your kids and expect to sit. Take it to go, and enjoy an absolutely amazing sandwich that will make you question all of your previous meal choices. I wish I lived closer; I'd eat here almost every day.

Great food!!!! Okay great isn't quite the word.... EPIC is more like it. If you are going to eat at this place, just remember, wear stretchy pants, come hungry, & you can diet tomorrow. Only 5-6 places to sit down so and it gets "cozy"

We tried three different sandwiches, two different types of poutines and some pork caramels Sitting in the back courtyard you get the smells of your meal along with entertainment from the cook! The sandwhiches are quality made and tasty, the fries were "ok" but the caramels stole the show! It's worth the drive, from Vancouver, just for the caramels. For the food you would expect the price range to be "mid-range" but we found it rather expensive, I would still return for a second try though. Even just for the caramels :)

Netter kleiner Imbiss mit grosser Auswahl an Schweinefleisch. Das Hawaiian Sandwich mit Ananas hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Nur der Verkäufer war ein bisschen durch den Wind und musste unsere Bestellung mehrfach aufnehmen. (Translation) Nice little snack bar with a large selection of pork. I really liked the Hawaiian sandwich with pineapple. Only the seller was a bit upset and had to take our order several times.
