Reviews of Kramarczuk Sausage Company
Pete Blagoev
My family has been coming here for over 20 years and will continue to, what more do you need to know? The Deli is one of the best, and all of their sausages/meats are awesome. The fresh bread is better than most bakeries as are the other sweet treats.
The restaurant is excellent with lots of great options. Soups, salads and sandwiches are the main stays and you won't be disappointed with any of them. All fresh made and very tasty. This time I had the Grinder sandwich with house made chips. It was delicious and very filling. The chips had paprika and were uniquely tasty, I'd recommend trying them.

My partner and I went to Kramarczuk today and their foods are champ!! I believe those reviews say a lot about foods. Ukraine meatball and Ukraine sausage are in heavenly. My sweet partner wants donation for Ukraine and Deaf Ukraine community. I recommend this place must STOP by!
Carrie
Don’t come here on a weekend and expect it to be anything but packed. We got food on the restaurant side first. I got Ukrainian sausage on a bun and a cup of borsch, my friend got a Reuben - 10s across the board, folks. Great, family atmosphere and good service. We went to the store when we were done and got a couple of pastries. We tried the cream puffs and they were great. We couldn’t resist buying some frozen pierogi for later.

Kramarczuks is hands down the best spot to go for all sausage needs in the twin cities. Hand made sausage that edge out any recipes I’ve had by local sausage providers. After visiting the butcher side do yourself a favor and go to the deli and eat. The only place for Eastern European food. Eat the perogi.
Lesia Divonchuk
The best East European food. So many Ukrainian dishes. The food was really good. Great services.
Ruthie Elizabeth
HOLY SMOKES!! what a surprisingly delicious treat in Minneapolis.
ukrainian deli with something for everyone. absolutely cannot recommend enough.
i had the veggie cabbage roll, the beet salad, and the pierogis. the pierogis were so so so good.
Dan Mason
A great neighborhood staple with a restaurant and a delicatessen. Pick up something for the grill and a snack to hold you over. Don't forget their dessert counter.
Stephan L K
Good spot for a Coffee and Pastries break during our walk. Friendly staff, clean store, and I love the sausages here.
Bruce Kivi
Good food and reasonable prices. One thing to note is that they DO NOT accept cash. Credit or debit cards only. Food is served buffet style. You order off the menu behind the counter and it’s prepared while you wait. They have s selection of beers and soft drinks. The deli with a nicely stocked meat selection is next to the restaurant. There’s also a bakery with a wide variety of sweets. If you like sausages of different varieties you’ll love this place.

This is one of the hardest hitting authentic cuisine places I have ever experienced in my life. If your into cream of mushroom sauce that comes from a can this isn't a good place for you to eat. However if you are into: authentic homemade sauces, delicious beef/pork, and sides that involve potatoes with creamy cheeses. Drop what your doing and come here now. Also, they have a good beer selection, and really clean bathrooms.

The restaurant is next-door through an opening.
Polish and Ukrainian foods.💯❤️🔥🤤
Desserts are delicious!❤️💯

First time customer. I was a little unsure at first, but my friends really wanted to go. I am so happy I went! I will definitely be returning. The Reuben was really good, lots of meat, perfect amount of sauerkraut. My friends really enjoyed the cabbage roll and meat balls with mashed potatoes. It’s also a bonus they have fountain coke! (Amongst other “specialty” waters). Worth the drive.

A family deli and sausage company going back 70 years, this is a review for the restaurant side. Cafeteria style restaurant with plenty of seating. Eastern European menu includes pierogis, cabbage rolls (recommended), a variety of sausages and more. A good selection of import beers rounds out the experience. Cabbage rolls come in three sauces (mushroom, tomato onion and one more). Great service and there is an attached deli.
Anthony Levens
Great food and great environment. The staff are suuuper helpful and nice. Had the grinder sandwich (basically an Italian cold cut), Hungarian smoked sausage, and borscht. The sandwich tasted really good - especially the capicola. The sausage was great - definitely recommend the sauerkraut and onions on it. It was good enough that it didn’t even need mustard. The borscht is great, too. It’s one of my favorite soups and I like the way they prepare it.
Removing one star for the sandwich being really wet because it makes it hard to take home and it’s too big for one person to eat in a sitting.
Carol Ellingsberg
It was days before Christmas and there was a long line before 10A opening. Doors opened and the place was packed. Staff were prepared and efficient. Shelves were well stocked and restocked. Quickly got out with two large bags only to return to the deli which was quiet in comparison. Good choices were great and reasonable. Staff Very helpful. Will return again and again!

My kid lives near this gem of a deli, and now I can’t go anywhere else when near there. Wonderful Reuben sandwich and perogies. They have fabulous bread and the bakery goods are worth every calorie! All the employees are excellent. Off street parking available. You’ll love it!
B K
Exceptional gem of a deli! Great food. The Ukrainian meatball with noodles smothered with mushroom sauce is to die for. We have tried several of their desserts and they have all been delicious. We have also taken home several different sausages, all delicious. Recently we bought a loaf of pumpernickel rye- excellent! And we also got a loaf of chocolate babka - wow!!!!! Where has THAT been all my life?!
Lisa York
Kramarczuks has been in it's present location at least 40 or more years. I used to eat there 40 years ago and again 3 weeks ago. The food has always been great here and I wasn't disappointed the other day. The restaurant has greatly expanded with huge booths and tables. If you want good Central European cuisine, this is the place to go! Everything is delicious and you won't be disappointed! Their Deli has everything you can think of from the old country!
Andromeda “Andy” Anderson
If you’re looking for the tastiest classic pierogi in the Twin Cities, you’ve found it at Kramarczuk’s. Their restaurant serves a couple staple pierogi flavors and a seasonal rotation, but I just come and order 6-12 potato pierogies with their horseradish sour cream. I once told a friend these pierogies make me “die and see god in heaven until the end of the meal.” They’re a little crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Super flavorful. I just love them. Everything at the restaurant is superb and beyond worth the price, but I’m just sold on the classic little pierogi. Can’t go wrong here. Do yourself a favor and get to Kramarckzuk’s the next free moment you’ve got.
Chi Woodrich
Their sausage is incredible! Baked goods and all other items are excellent as well. There is plenty of helpful and friendly staff on hand make your shopping experience enjoyable. Parking is easy as well.
Shawn Droll
Old world food and deli been going here 30 years and it still the same place. The bakery has a huge selection and poppy bread that melts in your mouth.
The meat market is the perfect stop before your weekend bbq or family dinner. But the food in the restaurant is the best original recipes big quantity and fair pricing.
Mark Neilson
This place is famous for good reason. The food is absolutely amazing and authentic. They have seasonal outdoor seating too. The deli has an incredible selection of meats, breads, and desserts. Also check out the seasonal candies with extended hours during the holidays.
Peter Berman
First time at Kramarczuk’s. I went with 8 others, partly as a thank you for their commitment to helping raise funds and awareness for Ukraine. The other part…to enjoy their awesome comfort food. I had a cup of Borscht. I was surprised to see borscht listed under “stews”. I should say, pleasantly surprised because it was beyond delicious! They make a heartier Borscht than I had at my home growing up. The other item was a pastrami on rye sandwich with a tangy mustard and a side of pickles. My wife had pirogies and a leek soup. Excellent food! They also have a beautiful deli packed with many Eastern European delicacies. I also brought home one of their Chocolate Royal desserts…can’t wait to sample that! Definitely going back.
Daniel Burwell
Yet another rock solid institute in Minneapolis’s cultural and culinary arsenal. I love shopping here for meats, or bopping down to get lunch. Getting through the cafeteria line is quick and the food is flavorful and fresh.
Brianna T
You’re not in Minnesota anymore! Love it! It feels like home.
Kathleen Krause
Someone recommended the cabbage roll and it was unbelievable! Meat peoge was delicious. Brisket sandwich huge and very good. Took home peoge and brisket for the weekend. Place was packed but service fast and excellent. Will definitely be back.
Nick Caire
Great spot to get authentic polish cuisine. They had a very large selection and all the food we tried was pretty good. The stuffed cabbage and goulash were slightly under seasoned, but the sausages we had were fantastic. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area!
Melanie Shreffler
Especially good borscht and brown bread! Good selection of imported beers.
Bry Berg
The polish sausage & pierogis are the best in Minnesota. I tried the goulash this time & it was very, very good. Cafeteria-style makes it super fast to get a delicious meal!
L Thompson
Iconic Minnesota institution. It's always a great treat when I'm in the neighborhood. You can't go wrong, I especially like the polish sausage at the restaurant with Sauerkraut and onions.
Linda Worm
Always excellent! Had to wait a bit so I went over and enjoyed a lunch! BEST Rueben Sandwich ever! And with my large order of sausage and Christmas breads and treats, a very nice young man carried out to my automobile. Love you all. Merry Christmas! Linda Seviola Worm. Missing my husband Richard Worm this year as he passed away in September from Myotonic Dystrophy at age 64.
Fabrisha white (Breezy18)
Always taste like home! I always wait way too long in between visits.. Cabbage roll smothered in mushroom cream sauce and 1 each of the peirogis with horseradish sourcream and onions! Cream puffs are a delight as well.
Stuart Gillies
I need a week of meals to try everything on the menu. Pastrami on rye was perfect and German potato salad….I could order a tub of that stuff.
Also tried their kolachi which tasted great. Compared to Texas kolaches they were more of a danish, but worth it none the less.
Steve Moses
The food is absolutely amazing here. Everything from the bakery goods to the meat selection. One side is a deli and the other side is the restaurant. If you go to the restaurant you will go through a line. Pick up a tray and look up at the wall to see what is available. Order your food pay for it and then seat yourself. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff are very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food being served. There is a parking lot for Kramarczuk patrons on the side of the building for offstreet parking. If you have never been here give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
Mark Poepping
Great Ukrainian market (kielbasa sticks are a garlic transition) and lunch counter. (don't miss the cabbage roll but be hungry). Very busy for lunch, small parking lot. Credit card only.
Vanessa Morris
I love this place! I went last week and purchased some beef jerky, summer sausage , German potato salad, sauerkraut, Harvarti cheese w/dill and a jar of dill pickles. All out of everything within a week. So, I found myself back again today!!! I'm a happy camper!!! Got some of the same along with some other options and everything smells and looks good. Can't wait to dig into the Rueban sandwich. It smelled soooo good on the ride baby home. Couldn't help munching on the garlic chips due the ride. This is my new go to!!!
Erik Renstrom
This is one of those restaurants you go to and love it so much you end up going back the next day. I love the atmosphere and the food is phenomenal! My wife loves the hot dogs and I’m a meatball guy myself!
Katya Reimann
First off, Kramarczuks is Ukrainian, or Ukrainian-Polish—not to make a fuss about moving borders pre-1900, but we did lose Sikora’s, the Twin Cities wonderful POLISH butcher, to Covid— And these two ethnicities have overlap but are not the same.
Kramarczuks has a wonderful deli style area, with everything from meats to pickles to sweets and an incredible variety of house-made and regional slavic sausages and hams. The German potato salad is amazing. It’s also go a cozy sit-down area, cafeteria-style, with hot foods ready to be served out or packed up to take home. The stuffed cabbage rolls are amazing—pick your sauce. I am always torn between ordering my grandmother’s style sauce which is tomato-based, and the incredible savory mushroom style that I’ve only ever had at Kramarczuks.
Just excellent, savory, eastern-European food. The Twin Cities are so lucky to have Kramarczuks.
Diana Ruiz
If you're in the area, give them a try. You won't regret it. The line was long when we got there but moved quickly. My husband and his dad are the Ruben too quick. They wished it had more meat, but they liked it.i really enjoyed the cabbage roll (got both sauces, but my favorite was the mushroom gravy), and recommend the Grinder sandwich.
Laine
Good food, heard lots about this place and finally got the time to go! Got the cabbage roll and my friend got the Ruben!
Their dessert is gooodd!!
Took one star off because of the service, it was Monday lunch time no one was there, the girl that took my order looked like she rather be anywhere but work. After I gave her my order she didn’t say anything, Told her it was my first time there what sauce would she recommend with the cabbage roll she said “whatever you want”
Anyways....
Saw their paczki and had to stop in again
Was a bit late, they only had one flavor left.
Took another star off because I went there at 7:50 and they opened at 7 AM and they were already out two flavors, before that I specifically asked if they would have enough and the guy said it’s our only day so they should be able to make enough Which is why I did not pre-order...
But overall the second time I went to the service was way better
Marc Abplanalp
Plentiful, delicate, authentic flavors. Friendly service at the counter. A wholly delightful and unique experience. I can personally recommend the original cabbage roll with mushroom sauce, Ukrainian meatballs with tomato cream sauce, and Bavarian cream puff. All were superb.
Eowyn Ward
Giant cabbage rolls great mushroom sauce. Tastes like someone's grandma made it. Very delicious
Came back again to have some more cabbage rolls and perogies and take a picture. Yummmy!!
Keith Hagen
So tough to beat this all time classic in Nordeast! Whenever i stop in I HAVE to get a cabbage roll with tomato cream sauce and their perogies! I must try it you're ever in the area!
Angelica Beaverhausen
First visit...Won't be my last. The food was fabilous! The attached store has so many sausages, cheeses, bakery items, candies, mustards and every Ukranian delicacy you'd want! Great people working there, too!
Kaitlin T
This is a staple to visit. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and some meat pierogis. Decent price, and the food was delicious. Not too busy for lunch during the week.
Andrew T
Really good sausage. All their food is really good. Not quite Grandma's golumpki or pierogis but definitely scratches the itch. The best option I've found so far for Polish food. Bring a few friends and share all the food otherwise it gets pricey if you want to try a variety.
Noel Voss
Loved this place! Great local deli and eatery! Decent, cheaper prices for good, homemade food. Very friendly staff. It's cafeteria style and you can seat yourself. They do serve alcohol. It's family friendly and the items in their deli are AMAZING! I loved the cabbage roll, it was so delicious! They also have great perogies.
Cal P
Amazing authentic food. The meat/cheese in the deli are delicious and made to perfection. The menu changed a bit, so the prices/combinations are a bit pricier. The Sunday brunch is great because you can not only have breakfast food, but also their Polish/Ukrainian dishes as well as a large sample of meat/cheeses. The Kramarczuk's mustard and sour cream have a kick and are like no other!
Barry R
Food is delicious and plentiful at very reasonable prices. Very authentic tasting Polish cuisine, with an attached deli and bakery with even more of the same to cook at home. At the counter they dish up your meal right in front of you, no hiding things. I will happily return to try other dishes I didn't have the opportunity to try!
Matthew Jensen
Tasty food, lots of meats to choose from. Everything was good. The perogies were good but did not live up to the hype. I had a ruben and it was great! Parking is a bit of a B..
Matt Gregg
Let’s hope this gem stays in business forever. Incredible food and a staple of Minneapolis. Only downside is that it’s closed on mondays but I get staffing is hard right now
Cory Miller
what a treat. i sincerely miss nyc delis and this was a great substitute. support ukraine and visit sometime you won't regret it. had the pastrami sandwich. bliss.
Alexander Ross
So glad there is a place in town to get home-made, authentic Polish/Ukrainian food to help me keep connected to my heritage
Laura Brooker
Food was amazing!! The ham and sauerkraut soup was a pleasant surprise! We got dessert and sausage to go. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.
The only unpleasant thing was the bathrooms. They needed a deep cleaning and deodorizer.
Shane W
I love this place. Cuppa wild mushroom soup, 3 Kraut, 3 potato. Fried onions and horseradish sour cream.
Abhishek Reddy Chamakura
The place is located on hennipen Ave and easily visible walking or driving through it. This is not a West European restaurant but a traditional East European Restaurant. We ordered cabbage roll veggie with mushroom cream sauce and tomato sauce , the roll was so yummy .. we also added the house made curry ketchup and mustard and it was yummy. The veggie soup was good. Top to all this the people at the restaurant were very welcoming and spent time explaining to all questions we asked.
I highly recommend this place any day. they have a grocery strong besides with European style
Beth Gasser
What a delightful find. The food was absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying Ukrainian food, and I loved it. The cabbage roll with the tomato cream sauce was incredible. The sauerkraut was really good with bits of sausage mixed in. It was busy, but plenty of seating. Loved the pickle and condiment bar. Good value. Lots of adjacent parking. Highly recommend.
Andrea Kiepe
Simply the best Eastern European comfort food in Minneapolis. Perfect place for warming up in winter or nursing a hangover. Great sausages, cabbage rolls and soups. Love the Reuben! Full bakery with pastries, cakes and cookies as well as a meat counter and candy shop.
Alexis Kus
FOOD- The food was delicious 10/10. We had ordered a Ukrainian Sausage which came with saurcraut as well as onions on a bun. If you are not a fan of saurcraut I advise you take it off due to the strong taste but it definitely adds flavor. Along with that we also ordered the Potato and Cheese Perogoies which were amazing. Definitely an 11/10 in my book. They also have lots of other unique foods along with cheesecake.
LOCATION- A cute location outside of downtown Minneapolis. More along the quit more modern part with lots of apartments.
STAFF- Everyone was very friendly.
ATMOSPHERE- A cute atmosphere with lots of seating. You can sit inside and eat or you can sit outside as well. There is a high top counter in front of the window, booths along the side wall, and tables in middle.
PRICES- The prices were what you'd expect when mixing city and uniqueness. It was 2 dollars for the perogoies but they were very large and filling. Over all definitely worth the cost.
PL M
Cabbage rolls are huge and tasty. Tried it with the creamy tomato and creamy mushroom sauce. Both delicious.
Morgan Waste
Absolutely stunning! Fell in love with the place as soon as my foot stepped in the door. The cabbage roll was underappreciated in the hype for how amazing it really was. Made me fall in love with my Ukrainian roots even more!
Brian Zárate
Best place to find REAL mustard, horseradish and anything pickled ! Great selection of polish, Russian, German, Romanian products and more ! Also the best selection of Ritter sport in the twin cities hands down !
Joshua Herghelegiu-Liu
As a Romanian this is a great place to go to for wonderful cabbage rolls and Borscht soup! Highly recommend
Tanya Troska
Best food in town. Reminds me of meals back on the farm with family and friends as a kid.
Daniel Blanchard
What an amazing gem! There were several of us waiting for the door to open Sunday morning, and now I know why! It was my first visit, and I was walked through the simple ordering process. I really like that this is cafeteria style, as this was my first time experiencing this wonderful cuisine! I was able to see everything, rather than making a guess from a menu. Like many others, I ordered the combination plate and I was not disappointed! It was a massive amount of food, but I did not leave anything behind! Before leaving, grabbed two desserts to go and then picked out some sausages from the deli. Great food. Great staff! I am looking forward to next time!
Jamie Eberle
Kramarczuk is One of the landmarks of SE Minneapolis. The experience of purchasing meats or treats is unforgettable. It could bring you back some 100 years and make you feel like you're standing there with your family/great grandparents all over again. Definitely a place we remember to love and is well worth the effort.
Joshua Hurliman
This place is the best!!! If you like authentic European food this is the place. Everything is good!!!
Kara Mundy
Absolutely loved Kramarczuks! I got a Ukrainian sausage with sauerkraut and onions, a cabbage roll with a tomato cream sauce, and a blueberry kolachi.
My favorite thing was the sausage! It had a great flavor (almost a ham like taste), and if you like a nice casing this is for you! The snap in the bite was perfect. Sauerkraut and onions were perfect accompaniments. I grabbed a mustard packet on my way to the table, and didn’t even use it because it was all so good!
I never had a cabbage roll before, so I had no expectations other than cabbage being an ingredient. The flavor of the roll was really good, and the sauce was super tasty. It was a significant portion.
I also never had a kolachi before, but it was very similar to a Danish pastry though the dough texture wasn’t as flaky. I really liked it, and would like to try other filling flavors.
IURII DIVONCHUK
Was a pleasure to stop here for a breakfast and taste their delicious Ukrainian dishes. Reasonable pricing. So nice to see such a unique place in Minneapolis that keeps traditions alive.
Eric Rodewald
Do you like sausage? Bacon? Even as just a deli it's worth a visit but we really enjoyed their hot sandwiches. The building is bifurcated so you can enjoy your food without the busier and louder deli interrupting your meal.
Patt Scholten
Small world . I just met your daughter in Sparks. We're from Minnesota too. I'm polish too. I will come and taste the sausage when we come to town next week. My future son's in laws live in your neighborhood too. The Lawrence's.
Msjj820 Johnson
My first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, rich and savory. Would have given 5 stars, but they were out of meat perogies..which is what I came for. Still enjoyed the veggies ones, none the less. 🤗 …
Renee Braak
I live for the cabbage rolls with tomato cream sauce. The perfect, casual place to enjoy a warm meal on a cold MN day. You can’t go wrong with Kramarczuk’s!
Smith Shoars
Amazing deli style restaurant and grocery store. Their sausages are extraordinary and their Reuben is divine! If you never have had borscht, give it a try. I was not disappointed.
Renee Wade
Traditional Ukrainian food in the deli and the shop has traditional Polish sausages, as well as a variety of other sausages and treats. Definite must if you love great sausages.
Marianna Dushar
Great location with ukrainian spirit
Kevin S
Very good lunch spot. Great European style sausage meal. They also sell some European snacks.
Sarah Kern
Best Reuben I’ve had in my life! Delicious pierogis! So glad we changed our lunch plans when we were in town. Thank you!
M C
Awesome place. We had lunch and everything was delicious. The sausages are outstanding. The bread is real bread with flavor and texture. The desserts are amazing. So many options.
Duane Camitsch
Very busy at lunch time, there's a good reason for that. A great experience and very good food. I love the pumpernickel ruben, the corn beef and baby swiss make it perfect. Tables turnover at rate where even if it's peak meal time, you will likely get a table. Not sure of the Ukrainian lineage of the cannoli, but it doesn't reallt matter - I love cannolis.
Brandon Reichow
One of the best place to visit. They have a deli and a bakery and also a restaurant. Food is amazing. I've been going there now for 7 years.
Don Fuller
Quite the interesting place. Great deli and unusual menu. I got the combination plate because I couldn't decide, and it was excellent. The sausage was my favorite, along with the belogi. The cabbage roll wasnt totally my thing. Will definitely go back to try more dishes!
evenchunkiermonkey
The Deli is amazing, get yourself a sandwich or sausage and a bowl of soup or some pirogis 🤌
The market is just as great, best sausage haus in the cities, the desserts/cakes/kolachka are excellent as well
Jenae Cavanaugh
I consider myself a connoisseur of reubens. This had to be one of the best reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had. The sauerkraut was sweet not harsh! We also got a cucumber tomato salad and the classic potato salad. Everything was great. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
J Ram
Was it an expensive pastrami sandwich? Oh yeah, would I get a second job to eat one everyday? Absolutely.
Senia Swanson
Love this place. Lots of options to eat and dessert is a must! My favorite things to get are the pierogis.
David Lowell
Such good food. Finally a European deli worth going to. The staff is very friendly also.
Nikhil Kalothia
The combination platter was good and allowed me to sample a bit of most things. The sausage and other meats tasted good. I'd recommend getting the meat pierogies, as the potato one wasn't as good as the others..
Charlotte Breivik
Clean store with prompt and courteous service. The counter person had great knowledge of products within the store. I was thanked many times on my way out of the store.
Dan Mirau
Amazing food. Made my wife and I so happy. Toddler loved it too. Great selection of European beers. Staff are very personable and knowledgeable. Pastries and sweets are fantastic. Great t-shirts. This place is a must if you're passing through the area.
M.MICHAEL KRUCHTEN
Actually food is awesome. The employees are a bit stoic. A couple of them smile all the time, and several dont smile or seem welcoming
Gianni lachance
Kramarczuk Sausage Company is unquestionably the best Polish/Ukrainian restaurants I have ever been to. Their pierogi were amazing, and the cabbage roll platter what absolutely outstanding. It was like eating grandmas home made cooking. But, don’t get turned off by the cafeteria style ambience, this place is a true staple of Minneapolis.
Goodfella 218
Easily one of the Best restaurants in Minneapolis. Delicious food, excellent staff and perfect location. Every meal I've had from Kramarczuk has been consistently delicious. Some of my favorites include Cabbage roll with red sauce, the Grinder Sandwich (One of the best sandwiches you will ever have), the Rueban with extra meat and extra crispy bread, the Borsch, the sausage spinach rolls and the krakroska just to name a few. As delicious as the food is, the staff is really what makes this place special as everyone that works there is an exceptional person. I couldn't live without Kramarczuks.
Ryan Spears
Fantastic!!!! Best sausages in town, even hard to find items such as South African Boerewors.... i know the tray is empty in the pic, its because I bought the last one!!!! Selection is HUGE, definitely worth the drive, already planning the next trip here!!!!
Nathan Majewski
Both the storefront and the restaurant were amazing. The staff was very friendly and recommended some delicious items. Cabbage roll and pierogies were scrumptious. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend! From out of town and definitely planning on going back the next time we are in Minneapolis.
Jessica Johnson
Old-style European sausage served on homemade bread. You only need to order one. They're big. Don't like sausage? Try the goulash! It's amazingly good!
Keely Sechser
Great restaurant atmosphere and the most friendly employees. The food was even more amazing. We loved the Ukrainian Sausage and cabbage rolls!
Laura Pratt
Amazing. The flavors here were so good, I'm going to be back ASAP to try everything else on the menu! I had potato and cheese pierogi, the best I've ever had, they were so fluffy and I didn't even need a sauce or toppings. I had the Ukrainian sausage - so tasty, and the casing was wonderfully crispy. I also had a bite of the pastrami brisket - generous portion of meat, really, really good.
Anne Holecek
What a wonderful place for great food!
Everyone so friendly & helpful!
Will recommend and be coming back!
Brenda Perea
The Ruben was amazing and the desserts? WOW :) I couldn't decide so I purchased 3😬 the staff was also super friendly and helpful. If there is a line, it is worth the wait, I promise! …
Jacky Ng
Had the pastrami brisket and it was great, but felt that it was a bit dry and could use some more sauce or toppings. My friend got the Reuben and it was delicious, the cheese and sauerkraut added a lot of flavour to the sandwich.
Will Garner
Great selections of meat and cheese! Stay for the great traditional food menu! A Nordeast staple!
Sarah Borka
Every time is amazing!! Love the hustle and bustle!! Be patient, the wait is always worth it!!
Theresa Nalipinski
Highly recommend this place for lunch.
I ordered the combination plate with a cabbage roll, polish sausage with kraut, perogi with caramelized onion.
Obviously I had a to go box. In addition to that I ordered a couple more cabbage rolls for the family dinner.
I definitely will be back.
In addition to the great food there is a store where you can buy bakery goods, meat and cheese, and a variety of special things.
Robert Headings
My mother in law has been coming to your place for years. For the last 30 years She would come there and buy polish ham just for me. Being raised Amish I never had eaten that kind of ham It's was the best! Now we moved to Minneapolis I came down there and bought 3 lbs of polish ham myself. Had to throw it out it was not good at all. I'm not one to complain but it was not the same ham at all. I was going to get some for a Amish wedding but didnt

Best deli in NE especially for a takeaway sandwich picnic or dine in casual date. European market and deli has all the pickled vegetables and sweets you’d find in Western Europe. Amazing brats, sausages, and real hot dogs.
janet soczek
LOVE LOVE LOVE Kramarczuk's! Delicious and very unique food. Perfect reminder of my husband and my Eastern European heritage! Be sure to stop by the deli to take a little something home, too!
Esther Derevencha
Oh man.. This place is awesome! MY PEOPLE. Perogis, meatballs with mashed potatoes, all kids of salads...even tried Russian beer. Nazdorovia!

I have been going here for over 60 years! Fantastic sausages and peirogis. Staff is exceptionally nice.
Ben Frayman
Great food that tastes homemade, yet has a certain swagger that makes it feel gourmet. The restaurant feels lively, but not pretentious, so it was welcoming and a place you feel like you want to come back to. Counter service moved quickly through the busy lunch crowd and you notice the regulars that definitely know what they are ordering without looking at the menu. The attached bakery and delicatessen had many goodies to offer you can take to go and was as busy as the restaurant on Friday afternoon.
Grandpa Johns
A Nordeast Minneapolis landmark, Kramarczuk's is a true old fashioned meat market. Kramarczuk's makes their own sausages, and they are still made the old-fashioned way with the same attention to quality developed over the years, and they taste like it! Established over 70 years ago and I have been going there for sausages for most of those years.
My first memory of going to Kramarczuk's was when I was in middle school and my dad took me there for Easter sausage. With the opening of Kramarczuk's deli my family and I have visited more often and now four generations of my family have made the pilgrimage to the corner of University and Hennepin!
Rebecca Froehlich
Cozy and casual environment. Very easy to grab and go a superior sandwich - worth the price compared to similarly quick eats. Good food at the restaurant, deli, and the little dessert shop. Try a Napoleonka :)
JP Beza
Saw this place on various food channels and I had to try it while visiting Minneapolis for a work trip. It didn't disappoint! The bratwurst was the best I've ever had and the perogies were so good too! All the locals in line told me I'm at the right place for some really good food so I'm sure you won't be disappointed eating here!
Zobar Kruk
Delicious, if you love meat and good food then this is the place to go to! Try it out if you're hungry and even if you want to cook for yourself, they have got the supplies.
Wesley Wright
Kramarczuks has wonderful meat options for you to select from. I was very surprised that meals can be had there! Had the chance to have a dessert.... Now I see why so many of my friends ask if over gone
Janice McDonald
I came here 25 years ago and the foods is still as fresh and good as I remember. Love the perogies.
Cristina Davis
Never had Ukrainian food, so glad this was my first experience. The food was awesome, meat filled perogies, cabbage rolls, everything! Buffet service, a lot of folks come just for dessert. Great Statue of Liberty mural highlighting immigration story.
A G
I didn't try their sausages. Wish they have some samples for customers to try.
Neal Sivula
Love this place for the Kolaches…excellent sandwiches as well, we loved the “G Club”
Ray Wu
Amazing Eastern European comfort food. Come in hungry because the combo platter is a serious amount of food. Rich, heavy, and full of carbs, there's no better example of what comfort food is all about.
K S
No cash be sure to bring your cards. Half loaf caraway rye was $7.00 - assumed it would be less than whole loaf.
Owner replied it was mislabeled, I emailed for $3.50 refund.
Michael Ballard
I absolutely love the food there my grandma was from Czechoslovakia and the food tastes the same as she used to make me when I was a little boy, absolutely a must to go eat at I give it five stars
Joshua Squires
Years later and I still dream about the cabbage rolls. Excellently made and utterly delicious.
Brian Tang
Not just sausage! This place is a hidden gem.
(Pictured: cherry cheesecake, Bavarian custard-filled choux pastry, and almond Danish)
Matthew Thompson
This place really does everything very well, amazing deli. Try ther gypsy bacon!
Toby M
Very good food and cool market. Parking is a little tough (downtown) and prices a little high. Otherwise, friendly staff!
Dave Flaat
I love this place!!! The meats & Deli are the best. The grocery store has hard to find goodies too.
Andrew Miller
Nothing here has ever been anything, except amazing. Next time I go, I will get pierogi and cabbage roll.
Julie Pittsenbargar
My favorite place ever ...
Grew up eating the food now I live in CA. I visit every chance I get :)))) and bring it home with me .
Nataliia Kuchma
Nice place. Delicious Ukrainian cuisine. Always fresh products.
Steve Haro
The Pastrami Brisket may well be the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
Matthew Gress
I have been incredibly delinquent. I have lived in Nordeast since 1993 and this my first sit down in their restaurant/deli. In-house cured corned beef sandwich! Also got Syrnyk, a Ukrainian cheesecake slice. I will not neglect this place again.
Ed Vine
Astonishingly good, seriously. If subway had a premium, "best possible ingredients no matter what" version, it probably still wouldn't be this good.
Jamie Viger
Third generation customer. I love this shop. The best sausage, the best people. When I was a kid, my parents would always run into extended family around Easter, in the lobby, number ticket in hand. Never minded the wait.
Urban RoninX
Love this place. The meats are great quality and flavorful. The other items they offer such as perogies are easy to cook and delicious. Also very convenient to take home. Their cafeteria moves at a good pace so you get your food pretty quick. The only two things is that they only had one cashier which did slow down getting to eat the food so some of what we got did get alittle cold while waiting to pay. Also their parking lot fills up quickly which does make finding parking alittle difficult so be prepared to street park. But otherwise a great place for food to eat in or take home. I always recommend their deli for great meats and sausages.
Kelly McGuire
Growing up with a Ukrainian grandmother, I thought I’d never experience the delight of a varenyky again. I had my first pierogi in nearly a decade and a half and I could taste the nostalgia. The authenticity of this food is amazing. Cannot wait to go back!
t aurand
Had lunch there. Great Polish/Ukrainian food and would highly recommend it to those that enjoy this type of food.
Hayden Christensen
Chef's kiss. The food, the ambiance, the history, the deli, the GUY FIERI picture. What's not to love?
Heidi Winter
First experience in-house since Pandemic - long awaited!! Ate lunch, which was excellent & spot on & bought cabbage rolls to go for dinner. Customer service was great as always & every area super clean & well managed. Didn’t get out the door without hitting extra goodies in store, even a shirt!! Thanks for great day.
Carol Keller
A must visit every time we are in Minneapolis.
Lunch is delicious & portions are more than generous. We get there early, about 11, to beat the lines for lunch. The borscht is heaven.
We then fill the cooler with sausages & brats to take home to Iowa for our freezer & future meals.
Thomas Albinson
Everything looks and tastes homemade here! I lived in Central Europe for a couple of decades and spent considerable time in Poland, Czech, Slovakia, an Hungary. All I can say is Kramarczuk’s is as authentic as their offerings are tasty. It’s the cheapest way I know to travel to Central Europe. Portions are generous and flavorful (wurst, stuffed cabbage, Pierogi, etc.). I’m a fan of the wall mosaic in the simple dining room - a nod to the migration story behind every plate. They also offer cheese, meats, desserts, and imported foods from Europe in their attached deli/grocery store.
Jeffrey Bauers
Wow Eastern European food has never tasted better. I really enjoyed this place.
Alice Ts
Best Reuben I've ever had hands down!!! Also their bakery is immaculate. The halva and vanilla custard napoleons needs so good! All staff is very friendly! New favorite Minneapolis gem.
Nader Banilohi
Amazing Ukrainian restaurant! Very good sausages and sandwiches! The staff is very friendly! The manager gave us a free pretzel at the end of the night! Get the Reuben and Ukrainian sausage!
Sarah Daignault
My favorite restaurant in the twin cities. Have been going since I was a kid. You HAVE to try a cheese or almond kolachi. They are phenomenal. The pierogis are top notch. Always kind and friendly staff.
Diana Mckenzie
Food is excellent. Had lunch there and bought food home we bought.
Alexander
Really nice eastern European restaurant And shop. I got to eat some nostalgic food which my grandmother from Poland used to make frequently. Super nice place to turn up and eat, especially considering it's central location. Check it out!
knitnrun MN
Great currywurst
First place I found currywurst since moving back to MN from London. Friendly staff even with long lines. Bought some imported kraut too!
Mike Otten
Awesome food at a great price. Take some stuff home from the butcher too.
jessica hartkopf
First time stopping by! I picked up a little dessert and it was just heavenly! The neighborhood is wonderful, the atmosphere inside was great!
Sarah Karber
On the eat-in side, I enjoyed the Reuben and a cup of Forrest mushroom soup. Every part of the sandwich was excellent. For take-home, an excellent selection and knowledgeable people to guide you to choice selections.
Scott Hiland
Quick, delicious Eastern European fare, with a few taps, and a lot of bottles and cans.
Recommend that you get something with a sausage, something with noodles (a meatball, maybe?), and some pierogi.
Tara Spear
Generous portions and beyond helpful staff, this is an absolute gem! The grinder was definitely enough for two.
Christopher Joseph
Always good food. I haven't had anything here that isn't good yet.
Adam
Every time I'm in Mpls I MUST visit Kramarczuk's. Their baked Polish treats are authentic. Their sausage is the perfect blend and I take home a hundred dollars worth in my suitcase. Such a unique and ethnic treat in a world of chain food stores.
Andy Martinez
Iykyk this place doesn't need promo, it's dabomdotcom
Lauren Moffett
I totally loved my stop here. I can't say that I've eaten anywhere similar, so it's hard to compare, but I felt that the unique cuisine was culturally authentic. Savory comfort food is the heart of what's served here, and it feels just right for the Minnesota winter.
The food is served cafeteria style which I'll admit was confusing and slightly stressful for me but I imagine that this would be a non-issue if I frequented the location. Some options are made to order but the wait for these items wasnt long.
I had some potato and cheese pierogis, a Reuben sandwich, a san pellegrino soda, and a russian beer. I don't really love Reubens, but this place changed my mind. It was the best I've ever had and will likely ever had.
Afterward we picked up some bakery specialties and frozen pierogis for the trip home. I would recommend the pistachio halva if you're an adventurous eater!
Edward Adams
Highly recommend this deli if you need any bread or meat of any kind. Reasonable prices and great food.
Also the deli has good food!
Josh Tunks
I've been going to Kramarczuk's for 15 years. They have slimmed down the options in the lunch counter to the most commonly ordered items. The two I miss the most are the combo plate (three pierogi, cabbage roll, a sausage, and a side) and the Cossack sausage; they will still make the combo plate, but it is all a la carte. Lunch can get a little expensive compared to other lunch options in the area, but they lack the quality. The meat and bakery area is a fantastic collection of all things good. Check the place out; it's worth your time!
Sweden Torgerud
Great eastern European comfort food. The service when I went was a little slow, but it was right after the dinner rush and the staff were probably tired. Gotta check out the deli on the other side to stock up your pantry afterwards.
Javier Gonzalez
Great polish, Ukrainian, and Eastern European pastries, sausages, cheeses, food, and much more! The food I had was high quality and quite tasty. The staff was very friendly and even took the time to teach me more about Eastern European food as a whole.
vlad y
Great food, good prices, and an awesome bakery/deli.
Kevin Youngblood
Got the Grinder and wife had Cherry Bomb Sausage. Was really good but felt a little over priced for what you got.
Jessica Scheideler
An amazing place to eat! Staff is very helpful and patient with first timers. Will definately go again!
Mike Chehoski (Mike C)
We had kielbasa, pierogi, cabbage roll & pastrami sandwiches. Soo good.
Cheryl Kosec
We were so excited to hear that our son found somewhere to buy pierogies, authentic polish kielbasa and potitsa for our family Christmas celebration. These are truly family classics from ours and our kids growing up when we would visit our family in OH. So thank you for being there for our MN Christmas!
Pat Remington
These guys are very friendly and helpful it's always a pleasure to come in. The ethnic food is fantastic.
Amber Pearson
I love the deli and restaurant. Never had a concern. Cabbage rolls are delicious. Variety of canned beers/ciders.
Val Rosenbaum
Excellent, melt in your mouth, cabbage rolls. 😋 Cafeteria style. There is something to be said for sit down service. Kind of nice to chat while waiting for food at the table, so if you go there for dinner, May I suggest that you order a beverage first..wine or beer is available. Chat, and then when you feel you have connected with your dinner partner, go up and get your food. Wish I would have thought of that.. Live, and learn.very kind and patient staff experience. No cash, allowed. 🤗
Tieg Summers
Wow what a place! You will not be disappointed with anything you try. The Smoked Ukrainian was juicy and rich and the polish kielbasa snapped with every bite. I enjoyed the red cabbage. Not on the menu but ask about a combination plate! I would absolutely come back here!
Allison Johnson
The servers are so respectful, attentive and kind. The food is great and the atmosphere is very fun. If you are visiting from out of town, you should try a sausage/brat here -not just for a great meal but also for some MN historic atmosphere. Skip the brat chain that is up the street.
John O'Neill
Just an outstanding Minneapolis institution. There is an expansive deli and bakery but the restaurant was what we visited and enjoyed. They have a cafeteria set up with delicious hot food options. Pilsner Urquell on tap is another huge plus!
M Godlewski
Great place! Meats are delicious. If you haven’t been here need to stop by!!!
Ana & Karl Lies
Very nice local place. We only had brat's so I can't speak to the rest of the menu (though there were many things that sounded delicious) and the brat's were great.
There's also a very nice deli attached to the restaurant.
A fun place to stop for a bite. Recommended!
Bob Schumaker
Absolutely amazing food and incredible staff. Everything was delicious!
Jessica Brouillette
One of my favorite places in Northeast Minneapolis. The deli is always start with the best European favorites and some of the most delectable desserts I’ve ever seen. I often stock up on Vienna bread and dill Havarti cheese because they make it better than anyone in the city. You can’t beat the restaurant though. They are potato leek soup is out of this world.
Jon Sikorski
Anytime I'm in the Twin Cities, I stop here. It's a great place, with great employees, and sausage. Sausage. It's delicious every time.
Edith Waters
oh yeah this place is awesome! Get some sausage here!!
Rebecca Miniscalco
Great Paczki here for fat Tuesday! Not to many places in the metro area that even have them, including the iconic box!
Kevin Melanephy
Delicious. Central European comfort food. I had the sausage and pierogies but many people around ordered the cabbage roll.
Bob Christie
Great Breakfast or Lunch choices.. Their sausage is incredible and the butcher shop with all the selections is really cool.
Brandon
I simply love this place, there's not much more to say. Everything is fantastic!
Matt Cefalu
Love the food at Kramarczuk's - can't go wrong with their pyrohys!
Lauren D
Kramarczuk is a Twin Cities icon. If this place ever goes out of business, I will cry. Their restaurant is okay for a quick bite, but the real star of the party is the deli. This is the best place in the metro to buy sausage. Their bacon is out of this world. Even their jerky is top notch. The people that work the deli are always happy to answer questions and if you happen to stop by when it's not too busy they'll tell you all about the latest cool thing in stock. I bought some pickled fish on their suggestion and they even went into detail on how I should prepare it to enjoy it best.
Kiernan Johnson
The pastrami brisket was excellent, and the attached meat market has a great variety of things to try.
Michael Yell
When friends come to visit, I often take them to Kramarczuks. INCREDIBLE FOOD!
Gloria Johnson
The best authentic food of which my Grandma used to serve me… (Polish-which is just one of the ethnic areas in the Eastern Slavic Countries! AWESOME Cabbage rolls and Polish Sausage! Still trying for Psacki
Sam Fleming
Amazing homemade food. I will definitely be back soon!!
John W. Devore Sr.
Wonderful selection and a great restaurant attached. Parking lot adjacent and behind the store.
Colby Era
Yum. Yum. Yum. Can be busy but they handle crowds well. Diner and sausage store. I could spend much money in here.
CPR
Cabbage Roll with Mushroom Sauce and a side of Potato and cheese Perogies with fried Onions.
Nick Olson
I’ve been coming here for about 20 years, and it’s one of my favorite spots in Minneapolis. The restaurant and the deli are both full of delicious stuff. I tend to go for the pierogi, sausages, and cabbage rolls in the restaurant, and the potica over in the bakery section by the deli. Everything is good. The deli section also has frozen pierogi to go, which I really like.
D Gram6
Good old fashion European cuisine! The best deli sandwiches around - try the Reuben. The Stuffed Cabbage w/tomato cream sauce is just like Mom used to make also, the deli is THEE place to go for arguably the best kielbasa and other homemade sausage you'll find and the pick up some old fashioned sauerkraut-not that canned stuff either. Lastly, don't forget dessert - real, like homemade cheesecake + many other delicious treats!
Definitely, definitely worth the trip! Enjoy!
Andrew Klebe
The Combo is the way to go! It’s a bit expensive for a lunch but it was enough food for dinner too. Classic place and I always buy something in the meat shop.
Alice Paczkowski
Food outstanding...lots of helpful servers...can't wait to go back
Jeff Moffat
Stopped by for lunch and got the combination platter (I wanted to try everything). The smoked Ukrainian sausage was especially delicious.
Kristin Gustafson
For starters, this place is AMAZING. Great quality sausage. Smoked Pork Hocks, Amazing! Krakowska Sausage (we had ours cut for lunch meat) Delicious! On top of the that, very friendly staff and great service, oh and let me not forget the Hungarian Bacon, WOW. This is just the deli side. We went over to the restaurant and had Perogies and Polish Sausage with house made sour kraut. I wish we were able to buy everything in store, yet alone try it all. Helpful friendly staff. All very knowledgeable about the products they carry. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know. Thank You for a great experience ........Oh by the way we found this gem from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Ben Ernst
A longstanding tradition in Northeast Minneapolis that simply can’t be beat! The experience and the food are top notch!
Greg Pettersen (RDAmidwest)
After picking up some items in the deli we decided to eat supper in their cafeteria.
A cabbage roll for the Mrs. and a Reuben for me. A couple of exotic pilsners topped off a fun dinner time sausage acquisition run.
Bob Charles
Amazing eastern European food. I went for the bigos and it was just like what I've had in Poland. My friend had pierogi, goulash and a kielbasa. All very authentic and very good value for money. You can get a beer with your meal as well. They had a fantastic deli as well with tons of smoked meats, cheese and sausages.
Deborah LaChapelle
I do not feel it's right that you have to use a credit card here.
Eric Doty
Great stuff here but a bit pricey. Enjoyed the Ukraine flag frosted cookies & various pierogi in particular. A real NE institution.
Hung Like Horse
Love this place. We have been coming here for 20 years. They have the best polish sausage on the planet. Great food, and great customer service.
Missy Isles
Awesome place for a quick bite or a full meal. The servers there are helpful for first timers and do a great job of offering suggestions. There's great variety there. The cabbage rolls are amazing! They have specials all the time. I got the combination plate, and it has so much food, but it was totally worth the price. I went home with lunch for the next day. Food is served cafeteria style, which is fun and different. Love this place!
Nate W
Excellent selection of traditional Eastern European style offerings.
K Fritz
Always feel like a kid in a candy store when I come here. Everything from the sausages and baked goods to the amazing food prepared for you for takeout is on another level. Just ask Guy on DDD. Put their Pastrami on your bucket list if you haven't already tried it. It's worth the drive
Bob Sammartino
Very good ethnic food in an old style cafeteria setting.
Emily Bevelacque
I cant say enough about this deli/restaurant. I have been eating here my entire life. When I turned 5 I asked my mom to take me to Kramarczuk for a cherry Kolache. I still eat them today as a rare and special treat. The recipes haven't changed and the quality is top notch. My favorites from the restaurant side are the homade soups and pierogies. Also note worthy are the homade hamburger and hot dog buns. This is a Ne Minneapolis treasure and I hope it lasts for ever.
Doug Junker
Great restaurant/deli/grocery store sor Eastern European food.
Kris Krager
Food was quite good. Not traditional American versions of what you order. My criticism is of the meat pierogi which were just not good at all. The pastrami, beet salad, and potato pierogi were all quite good. Would also recommend the chocolate malt cheesecake.
David Schardin
Excellent food. It may look pricey but it is actually a really good deal when you consider the quality and taste. Get some Polish sausage and sauerkraut if you are curious. You won't be disappointed.
They have more than just meats. Great bread and pastries. You can also pick up fresh perogies and horseradish. Good selection of candies and treats, too.
There's also a nice restaurant there. Great for a quick and delicious lunch.
Robert Wicks
Their customer service is always exceptional. They have a great selection of house made meats, a great cheese selection, wonderful sweets and the best fresh breads to choose from. They have something for everyone. If you're a jerky fan, you should try theirs. It's really nice.
Dennis Evans
The best sausage shop in Twin Cities. Their beer sticks, spicy and regular, are outstanding. They also have a nice variety of brats and polishes. Make sure you eat at the restaurant attached to store. Great Eastern European dishes. I really like the Italian sausage bowl with its tomato, green pepper and onion sauce on a cold day. The meatballs and cabbage rolls are good too. We try to make there it at least once a month to sample their different food items.
D Barlow
We have been coming here for years. Great people, great sausage.
Joel Marsh
The poppyseed loaf and kolaches are always soooo good here. Loaded with poppy. The meat selection will have you drooling. They have great pickles from all over that taste just like my gram used to make. They have parking in back for shoppers free of charge
Alex Schmidt
The cabbage roll earns five stars by itself but the pierogi and sausages are fantastic too. Excellent deli and bakery options too.
Anita H
Been enjoying this place for years. Had a bowl of Borshch and slices of fresh bread for lunch today. Hope to be back again soon!
Margaret Roslik
I would give Kramarczuks 10 stars f I could. The staff is great but they don't even rival the food. My husband's family has been going here for decades. The bakery is amazing but what they know well is sausage - all of it is amazing. Try everything. The restaurant has Polish and Ukrainian favorites. Pirogi, sausages, galumpki, cabbage. The cheesecake cookies are horrible so don't ever get them (so there are always more for me). ;) Seriously, the cheesecake cookies are wonderful but get the plain, even if you're tempted to get the chocolate chip. A wide assortment of chocolates and gummy candies are available and some European imports as well. The roast beef, hungarian bacon, smoked and fresh sausages, cheese, krakoska, apple and gouda sausage, linguica, all beef franks, and jerky are just some of the favorites we get every time we go.
Ryan Larson
The smell when you walk into this place is amazing. The deli is stacked with meats and cheese and desserts and is the perfect place to start a picnic basket.
The restaurant side is pretty good but I feel that some of the food on this side is hit or miss on how tasty it is.
Still, its a fantastic restaurant and glad its here.
Chris Norris
A very unique place to eat. There is of course the sausage which was excellent. I had the Krakowska and it was great. You have to love garlic to appreciate this one. Wife had a stuffed cabbage roll which was great. We also tried the beet salad and German potato salads which were awesome. For dessert we tried a few things from the store. They too were great.
If you love sausage you can't miss this place.
Michelle Bartos
Stopped here on a "Taste Twin Cities" food tour. Great sausage and red cabbage.
Mark
A long-standing staple of the Minneapolis community, Kramarczuk’s is everything you could hope for in an Eastern European deli, restaurant, and bakery.
Their soups, homemade sausages, perogies, and pastries are all truly delicious, but the piece de resistance of this lovely little jewel are the cabbage rolls! Order with whichever sauce you prefer, tomato and onion, tomato cream, or mushroom and cream. Each can serve an adult meal, but I ate 2 last night with absolutely ZERO REGRETS!
If you’ve never been here, and like to taste authentic cuisine from around the world, head over right now. If you’ve already been, then you know what I’m talking about. Get back again already!
Grace
Love this place can't wait to go back. I wanna try everything....
Cory Germain
Amazing Eastern European comfort food you just don't find anywhere else, friendly staff, and an expansive selection of the highest quality, house-made sausages. Kramarczuk's is a Nordeast institution not to be missed!
Gifted Hands LLC
Referred by Diners Drive ins and Dives...very well worth it, fresh food cooked to order...Excellent service. #followingGuy lol great I'll be back often
Anne Wetherbee
Absolutely love Kramarczuk's! Hands down THE BEST variety and selection of European sausages! Great selection of deli meats (salami, prosciutto, etc...) and a nice variety of cheeses. Also has a lovely selection of pastries, and danishes. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products, and give excellent recommendations if you're unsure--overall absolutely phenomenal!!! ❤️
Diane Ingalls
Excellent Polish Food!!
Brings back child memories just walking in the Deli. The smells of sausage!! Crazy I know.
We normally get the fine hot dogs and Polish Sausage.
You won’t be disappointed!
Always a 5 star in my book.
lorie duffy
I have been going to to Kramarczuks for years!! It is a family tradition of ours because simply they have the best polish food in Minnesota. Trust me they do not disappoint. From there polish sausage, straight to there sour soups and porogi's. They have the best bakery, polish rye breads, poppyseed breed, Danish pastries. Yummm!!! The whole team their from the owners right to the people that help you with parking are so wonderful they are so helpful with what ever you need. A number one stop in my book when I'm in the neighborhood!!!
lucy streich
Come get the best cabbage rolls and peroggi you will ever have
Madeline Protas
I have been coming here since I was a baby, and my Polish family prior. The food, deli, and store service is always amazing! The cabbage rolls, pierogi’s and Polish sausage are a must.
Greg Kesper
This place is a good stop for meats and pastries that you don’t find every where. Food is always fresh and there is an eat in area. Due to it serving harder to find foods they do charge a premium for almost everything in the store. While delicious, prepare to spend some money.
Dylan
I’ll be honest, I am pleasantly surprised. The galumpkis were incredible, pierogi perfectly cooked and sizeable, the Ukrainian sausage was absolutely amazing, sauerkraut and onions were great. I’d definitely return! But not that often as it is a little pricey. I also wish I they would give sour cream instead of horseradish, because quite frankly horseradish is terrible.
Jodi Zeimetz
The best rueben around ~ seriously! All of their food is incredible, but the corned beef was so tender. Our only issue was we were super hungry and as a result ordered way too much food ~ we were stuffed! The staff are all so friendly, the deli / meat counter / bakery has more goodies to take home. We will stop again whenever we are in the area!
Hal Werner
The sausage sandwich I got here was tasty, indeed. But at first, the layout threw me for a loop. You enter through the deli part, and you have to take a left if you want the restaurant part where I was trying to go. I was also expecting a more traditional restaurant style experience instead of the cafeteria-style ordering setup they have, but ultimately everything tasted great. The dining room is clean and has some character, but it definitely hasn't been updated in a while. But I don't think most people are coming here to take flawless selfies.
Mika Baer
An absolute staple of the area. Affordable, delicious, great service, and something for everyone. There are some really authentic eastern European items on the menu as well as some more modern items. If you wish there was a Jewish deli in the area, this comes pretty close! You can never go wrong with pastrami. If they have mushroom soup on a day that you go, definitely try it! This is a great option if you are visiting and only have limited time in the city.
A Murphy
I had a wonderful pastrami with provolone and mustard. It was basic and spot on. Between the thick slices of pastrami and the mild provalone the spice of the mustard just blended in perfectly. My wife had stuffed cabbage rolls. The portion was huge for her but that just means she can have a second meal from it. She said it was great. If you want Eastern European deli this is the place to go. We will definitely be going back.
Erik Nibbles
Huge selection of sausage made on site. All the other deli items you would need including a large selection of baked goods. Very busy on the weekends. And the restaurant is top notch deli food, and it's inexpensive. If this review isn't convincing let me say, just go eat there. You won't regret it.
Edward Morafka
Been going to Kramarczuk's for years, just like my Dad side of the family!
Great spot for a delicious meal almost doesn't matter what you get,it is all fantastic!
Even better for there meats along with assorted breads, pantries and so many treats!
I highly recommend going and enjoying a what is left of Old Minneapolis!
Kaitlyn Iliff
A must stop. They have borscht, cabbage rolls, a big delicious meatball wtih noodles and sauce among options. The bakery is such a wonderful addition with the puffs they offer, definitely give those a try if you haven't. The option to walk through and get food is nice and you can pick your own table. I also must add that you should try varenyky so delicious with the sour cream-the potato ones are always good.
Johnsie AD
Our Easter Platter Compliments of Kramarczuk's
Pumpernickel toast, pierogies and kielbasa, colored Easter eggs, poppyseed bread and a little taste of ham for fun! All served on mom's Easter tablecloth!
Thank you Kramarczuk's for continuing to help us fashion our traditional Easter that was spent in the kitchen as we ate, drank, and relaxed with family!
Jen N
Food was fantastic!! German dining at its best. Saurkraut, German potato salad, pork, mmmmm!! So good. We'll be back!
brandon brolin
I have been going here since I was a in my mother's stomach. It is the only place to go for the best sausage in a at least 5 state ratios if not 10. The polish are to die for, but try everything as I get a little of half of what's there once a month, and the bakery.. can't leave without some of the best bread or pastries in the twin cities.
And the best thing is right next door they cook the same food.. so try before you buy. By the way you know the food is good if I talk up the meat shop and bakery..

As soon as you turn down Hennepin, the smell hits your nose drawing you inside. My personal favorite from their meat section is the bacon jalapeño cream cheese brat. SO. GOOD. Pierogies are always a delight too. Been going here since I was very little, 2 decades later I'm still coming for the great memories and delicious food. Hope they stay as long as I live in Minneapolis!

My second time here and tried the Cabbage Roll and Meat Perogi...they were both amazing! So tender and flavorful it was unbelievable! I highly recommend the Tomato Cream Sauce for the cabbage roll as it was suggested to me by another customer and the gal waiting on me.
willie cotton
First time customer. Amazing food and service.
Peter Werrenrath
Super good! Smells great when you open the front door, and tastes even better when you get your food. Amazing selection of traditional deli items from all over the world. Huge portions...the pastrami was piled 6" high. The mustards are world class. Loved the t-shirts subtly promoting world cooperation through food. I'll be back every time I'm in the area. Kramarczuk ROCKS!
MaryTerese Schifsky
Went for lunch with some coworkers. My first time here. I got the cabbage rolls with all three sauces, it was wonderful. Would definitely get that again next time around.
Benjamin Schuster
Buy sausage in the deli not the restaurant. Get the Linguica sausage, cherry bomb, or Ukrainian. All very tasty!
Tammie Sikes
Great selections of meats! I had the stuffed cabbage rolls and perogi were amazing! The best I've ever had!
Steve S.
That probably explains my “girlish” figure.
Old world Sausage - the best.
Update 6-2021
I remember visiting Kramarczuk Sausage Company when I first started to drive.
Mom would send me down to pick up Polish Sausage for the family.
Some kids drove to the library when they first started to drive. Me, I went to the meat market.
That probably explains my “girlish” figure.
Given that I have been visiting this establishment since about 1970, you could probably consider me a regular customer.
Any business that can keep someone coming back for that amount of time is probably a little more than OK.
Adam Levy
Kramarczuk is wonderful! The ambience if the restaurant and store is fantastic. The deli looks and smells wonderful and is filled with delicacies both old and new. The staff is extremely friendly and interested in helping everyone understand all the foods and choices. The restaurant and particularly the kielbasa and sausage with onions was out of this world! I'll happily return as often as possible and look forward to it each time.
Craig Strand
Took the wifey there for lunch on Sunday. Had the grinder sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle and potato leek soup. Soups were very tasty and well done. The grinder sandwich was also delicious and definitely big enough to split. Can't put my finger on it but there was a wonderful little sweet vinegary flavor in the sandwich I'm guessing it came from the sauerkraut. Grabbed some kielbasa sausage and kraut at the deli for dinner tomorrow night. We plan to come back for an evening dinner - well done!
Sasha Mercedes
The staff were amazingly helpful and kind- being that it was my first visit and I was totally overwhelmed by all the delicious looking options. I went with the combo platter, which had a huge cabbage roll, pierogies, sausage, sauces and sides. The meal was completed with a locally brewed tall boy for $3. This food is fabulous, the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the venue is comfortable. One piddly complaint is that the sink faucet in the bathroom is confusing and I thought it was broken until I tried every possible way to twist it. I will most certainly be back here and have been spreading the word about this local gem!
Yitian Zhang
Love the sausage. The best I’ve had
Marek Tylko
Best meat/sausage in town. Decent collection of eastern european pickles, cordials and sweets.
Might as well. Start with bigos in the restaurant attached, then you won't be hungry when you do your delicatessen shopping.
C C
The restaurant changed quite a bit in the last few years. It used to be a place where u can enjoy great old world food at a reasonable price. Great selection and generous portions.
The neighborhood changed and so the restaurant. Portions are A LOT smaller and selection is a lot simpler. Sandwiches and salads replaced the food that made the place famous as probably they try to bring in different crowed. And prices are up high, far from what they used to be 10-15-20 years ago.
Change is generally good, but in this case I wish would've stay on course and not deviate from the winning recipe. At least the front store still sales traditional products from the old country...
Recommended, but don't expect what it used to be...
Quentin Smith
I had lamb sausage in pita bread and the gyro sauce (I always forget the name) with green peppers, lettuce and such. It was pretty good and was more than enough for my late lunch.
There is ample seating, very clean, and the workers were very helpful! Cakes are displayed and they have the deli part in the next room over.
I would recommend going to try the food if you haven't but I don't think I would go back. It isn't because of the place because the place is awesome! But more so because I didn't enjoy the type of food. There might be something on the menu that I like and maybe will try but I won't go out of my way to go back. The main driving force to go back would be to get more cheesecake!
Even though I don't like the cuisine, I have multiple friends who love this place. It is Zagat rated for a reason!
Noah Raisanen
Got the grinder. One of the best sandwiches in Minneapolis
Shane
Pierogi's and onions. My happy place.
Jonathan Hinseth
Will be back soon. Fast service and great food. Love the bread and food...so tasty...well worth the effort.
Tatiana Fisher
The best place to buy fresh East-European food: sausages, cheeses, frozen produce and desserts...you can also have a good meal at their diner!!!
Kristian Olson
This is literally my favorite place in my neighborhood. I've been frequenting this establishment for years and am always, literally always, more than satisfied with the service, quality, and taste of the food. Their Hungarian bacon and Moscow ham are especially good. Sausages are amazing as well. Pastries are exceptional but fall by the wayside. Please try everything! The beer selection in the restaurant is great as well. Make sure to eat as much as you can.
Leigh Grueber
Every employee I’ve interacted with has been so kind and extra attentive. Great for dining in or take out! Don’t miss the deli.
Tim Swain
Great polish food! We had a great meal at the deli and then got some great items to take home! Try the Ukrainian meatballs they are fantastic!
Bree Baker
One of the best delis and restaurants in the Twin Cities!
Fantastic food quality and insurance.
This is a world class place!
Alison Evans
A friend from the cities took me here while I was in town and it is going to be a must visit place for me every time I come up to the cities. The smell when you enter the parking area is so enticing, when you come through the door it is heaven! I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded so delicious. I ended up ordering a cabbage roll with the mushroom cream sauce and a side of bread with butter. My friend ordered the Reuben sandwich. We both got some wonderful chocolates from the deli side.
We couldn't wait to eat our food and since the dining room was closed we decided we were eating in the car. The smell was just too good to wait and I wanted to taste my food hot and fresh. Oh boy, that cabbage roll was the best food I've eaten in as long as I can remember. The mushroom cream sauce was SO delicious. I could have eaten it by itself with bread, oh wait, I did. I soaked up every single drop of that sauce with my bread. No butter needed. The filling was moist, flavorful and huge! I couldn't finish the entire roll after soaking up all the sauce with the fresh sourdough bread. But I sure tried. You have to visit this place, you will fall in love! My friend and I didn't speak a word while eating, all we said was mmmm, ohhh, and oooh, as we devoured our food. If you stop talking to eat, you know you've got an awesome meal!!
Jamie Schaff
Great place to bring little ones. As in: you don't have to wait for your food! I didn't see it posted anywhere, but they offer buttered noodles with sauce ($1) or a hot dog for kids. We like to share the sampler platter and our toddler liked the cabbage roll and pierogies as well. Wish I had room for dessert, as they look amazing.
Michael O'Leary
This Ukrainian deli style restaurant is a real gem. In addition to fantastic sausages, they have cabbage rolls, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I've eaten just about every single item on their menu over the last 6 months and never been disappointed. Their daily specials are a great way to get a cheap lunch, but even the normal menu is reasonably priced. If you like meat, this place is for you.
Cheryle Gagner
My ancestors were Polish and Bohemian, so, to find Kolachi, Pierogis and such was marvelous. The staff there were great. My only negative would be that I don't live closer.
Emily Day
Heaven on Earth! Everything thing here is fresh and homemade. Cafeteria style service with nice restaurant seating available. All the Eastern European classics made to perfection. Choice of wurst with sauerkraut and a side of red cabbage is the basic meal that more than satisfies. Definitely don't leave here without their famous torte, it is incredibly rich and filling, you won't be able to stop until it's gone. Enjoy!
Tom Noble
Fantastic variety of Eastern European foods - soups, salads, sandwiches, sausages and cheeses - as well as specialty grocery items. Beautiful and delicious breads, cakes, torts, and other desserts. Expect brisk service at the deli counter, get a European or local beer, then find a seat in the spacious dining area in a beautiful old building. Always seems busy - for good reason!
Robin Melcher
Incredibl local restaurant, bakery, and sausage maker. Their sausages are all over Minneapolis. I had a polish at the Twins game and it was superb. I stopped in after a meal and tried their Chocolate Royale. It was to die for 🤤. I'll be stopping here everytime I'm in the area …
Albert Danielson
Very nicely organized and large selection of desserts and meats. Everything we've gotten so far have been hits! Favorites so far are the bacon and cheese brats and the ghost pepper jack cheese.
Kathy Hromadka
We drive 300 miles for their sausages! The restaurant is very good and the staff helpful and friendly. Love this place! We come here each time we are in town, and take sausages home with us. Also looking forward to a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving.
Neerja Bakshi-Sharma
The food is super heavy and filling.
Great, authentic dishes and the bakery is amazing too.
Don't order too much, the servings are massive, as is the amount of cream, sugar and butter/etc.
FYI: the seating is on the left when you enter. If you just buy at the bakery section itself - they'll pack your food up, instead if you go in first - you can seat yourselves.
Renee
Beautiful old world store offering homemade sausages, cheeses, pastries, and condiments. Restaurant isn't open for sit-down, but offer hot food to-go. It's a little pricey, but worth the stop.
Pete P
This is an old stablishment in Minneapolis and has been around since 1954. They have an assortment of homemade meats and saussages.
Olha Rouse
Great choice of sausages. Also would recommend pierogi with potato and cheese, and cake napoleon. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Comfortable big parking.
Susan Kosnopfal
The cabbage rolls are so good. Bakery items tasty 😋. Perogies are the best. Nice place to eat outside on patio along Hennepin ave. …
Rob McCarter
Fast-causal food with a spacious dinning room and attached market. If you like sausage, you'll love this place. Even if you don't like sausage it's still worth a visit (stuffed cabbage is very good). Not sure it'd be my first choice of restaurant to take a vegetarian, however.
Tab Fellows
The place for Eastern European slaw sausage perogies etc. Historical roots.
Ashlee Martini
Lovely family owned restaurant! I absolutely love eating their delicious pierogies and looking at all the wonderful photos on the wall. Everything is really wonderful from the food to the staff! The co-owner, Mike, is extremely kind. Also, the cheesecake is to die for!!! Their fresh cut meat and jerky quality is remarkable. Eating there is absolutely amazing. And don't get me started on the delicious, fresh, baked bread. Thank you, Kramarczuk's!
Loreen “Lolly” Fread
Love the stuffed cabbage rolls with the mushroom sauce. Oh yum! The pierogies are wonderful too. I missed going there and I will be back.
KnD Gale
We enjoy meeting family and friends at Kramarczuk's. This restaurant provides plentiful seating and a family-friendly, casual dining experience! The variety of Eastern European food offerings delights our taste buds. The staff is friendly and helpful! We often shop at the meat market/ bakery in order to purchase our favorite sausages or bakery items!
Patrick Leon
Just always the best sausage in the cities. One of the big things I miss about no longer living there. Whenever I visit the cities I always bring home like 10lbs. A d don't sleep on the stuffed cabbage rolls a d kraut. Awesome anytime of day. Lip smack.
Patrick Evans
This is one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities. Everything on the restaurant side is delicious and a fantastic value. The pierogi, the sausages, the cabbage rolls so many good choices. I recommend getting a side of the house made chips with whatever you get.
The shop side has a variety of fresh and smoked sausages. Every time I go I try to get one type of sausage I haven't had before, but I always get at least 6 beer sticks which aptly enough go great with beer. If you're going to have a cookout, grab some fresh sausages, buns, and up your game beyond Johnsonville or Oscar Mayer. Only downside to the buns in store is they aren't sliced, but that is easily remedied with your hands.
Parking in the parking lot is free but can be difficult to find around lunch times. The ramp nearby is expensive for the amount of time likely spent there. Street parking isn't so bad, but you may end up a block or two away.
My sister says after she eats here she has "the best burps." She wanted me to put down those three words as the entire review.
Tiffany Tank Dogiel
We anticipated a traditional deli style polish market, like you find in Chicago but encountered pre-packaged sausage. It's just not the same.
J
Never tried Ukrainian/Eastern European food before. The staff was super helpful guiding us through their menu. They made great recommendations. The food was delicious! Their sampler platter and Rueben sandwich were delicious. Their deli/bakery was great; cool selection of foods and kolaches were awesome. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.
Ricky Santos Wolf
One of my favorite place in the twin cities
elisabeth oh
Great Polish Deli, bakery and even a small cafeteria! I walked in just to pick up some eastern European treats and was so happily surprised to find a cafeteria inside as well! We walked in on a Sunday and everyone was very welcoming and nice. I can't wait to try the cafeteria -- will update when I do!
Tamar Kranz
Amazing meatballs and mushroom sauce! The sausages are fantastic also and that's just what I've tried so far. When you walk in, the delightful smell of smoked meats greets you. On your way out, a huge selection of deli meats and cheeses is there to tempt you.
S
We were in town for a wedding and stopped at Kramarczuk's for lunch. I had stuffed cabbage with the creamy tomato sauce and a cup of leek potato soup. My husband had a sausage with sauerkraut and a side of coleslaw. The food was delicious! We definitely recommend this restaurant. Next time we're in town we'll eat here again.
J K
Hands-down my favorite spot in Minneapolis. I've made great memories over the years at Kramarczuk's, and look forward to many, many more. The food is as good as it gets for Eastern European cuisine. Great beer selection. The deli and bakery are outta this world. Staff is always a highlight for sure. If you're visiting from out of town, you'd be remiss to pass up a visit to Kramarczuk's.
Michael Pet
Happy to see this authentic store and Cafe. Tasty food, good meat and breads, awesome location.
Carol H. D. (Carol)
Great food. Great people. So glad I had a chance to go there today!
Sam Atkinson
Great spot! Best deli and bakery around. Make sure to get a kolachi while you're there! They have options for all dietary restrictions in the restaurant so it's a great stop for all occasions. Friendly staff is always more than willing to help and creates an amazing atmosphere.
Lex Talionis
I've been coming here since I was a kid--when kielbasa hung from the ceiling and the place reeked like borscht. If I need to meet a friend for lunch or dinner, this is one of my go-to spots. The sandwiches, sausages, brats, are all awesome. The soup is great too, especially the borscht. The butcher shop and bakery are also awesome. I think the krakowska deli meat is probably my favorite lunch meat of all time--I grew up on the stuff!
william charles
I stopped by here for some meat gifts for the family and then stayed for lunch. It's was an excellent meal! I just cooked up the maple sausage links for breakfast, everyone agrees that this is the best sausage we've eaten in some time. If your looking for 100% in-house made food, this is the place! This place is on the list of top ten places to eat in Minneapolis.
Jeremey Wade
Came here for dinner during my Erik's Bike Shop manager meeting, they make some really awesome food! Glad they had some gluten free options for me and their cheesecake is amazing. I will visit this place again next time I'm in the Twin Cities.
Kim (Kimba)
This is a casual place where you get in line and pick your food. They make it for you as you wait. Then you sit and eat. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere is nice. They have a little shop attached where they sell sausage, cake, cookies, and other snack items. This was our first time here and we will be back.
Mike Suter
Stopped in for lunch, had the smoked Bavarian Cossack style (split with cheese, kraut and onions) and a few pierogies. Food was all great, nice tangy kraut, well seasoned and smoked sausage and great buttery pierogies. There was a line when we got in shortly before noon but service was very quick less then 10 min to get our food from walking in the door! Very good sized portion for your money, if you walk out of here hungry you’re doing something wrong.
Kim MacDonald
This place makes the german girl in me so happy. With a great selection of meats, sandwiches and sides, there is a little bit of everything for everyone. Prices are on the more expensive side but not overpriced for the quality of food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is served cafeteria style which can make choosing a little difficult. Grab a tray and enjoy.
Christopher Wheeler
While a little pricey, the quality and deliciousness of the food outweighs the cost. Their borscht soup and cabbage rolls are phenomenal and will leave you coming back for more! The fresh made sausage will gain you compliments on days when cooking out with family and/or friends.
BJerry BYonga
This place serves good food and they have been doing so for years. Everything is so good and fresh. Their sausage is out of this world. I have been coming to this place since mid 2000 and no regrets. Anytime I am in Minneapolis, I make it a trip to visit this place. You will find a friendly staff and very courteous. Good food for good price.
Ashley Ruffead
AMAZING. The care they put into making the sandwiches was mind-blowing. Italian subs are my favorite and they did not disappoint. My boyfriend got a sausage (I had a bite) and that was great as well. I wish I was local so I could come here more.
Darwish Harper
There is no better in Minnesota.. just go and eat everything..
Matt Bork
First time hear. Excellent food and quick service for what looked like a long line. Deli is excellent. Picked up all the ingredients for some pastrami sandwiches for dinner tonight. I am sure they will be great!
Anthony Steyermark
Excellent food, very good market.
Eric Matson
Absolutely great selection that you can't go wrong with
Peter Stampfle
One of the few places you can still get blood sausage. They have a great selection of sausage and meats and various products from Europe. The prices are on the high side but you do get a high quality product and it's great having an authentic style butcher shop around.
Nikki Bufkin
A deli style restaurant where you get your food then sit down, they make fantastic sausages. I had the special (duck and cherry sausage) and it was wonderful. I bought the bacon and polish sausages to make at home and both were fantastic.
Joseph Jurek
For authentic European/ Polish food (sausage, pierogi, etc) I highly recommend this place. They have a butcher shop connected to the restaurant which is always a good sign. They have their own parking lot which is rare in north east minneapolis. The portions to price are fare but the taste and quality are what really stand out. The cabbage roll is my favorite!!
Shawn Schultz
If you get a chance to go here, take it!
The atmosphere, staff and food is absolutely fantastic. My favorites are the Ukrainian meatball dish. The Ukrainian sausage dish. The Cherry Bomb sausage dish and the traditional potato salad. YUM!
Robert Brandel
Wonderful meat counter. Recommend the cornbeef . Had a pastrami sandwich at the deli.
It was a little dry. Good soups.
Linda A. Winn
Great food-friendly staff!
Jonathan Hill
Delicious sausages from around the world, authentic and varied cheeses and baked goods. The deli/restraunt is wonderful.
The staff are always friendly and eager to help, answer questions, always ready to help you sample nearly anything.
I've been coming here for years.
Morgan S
Great spot! Generous portions. Don't miss
Alex Arneson
Have had a sandwich here and tried their pierogies. Both fantastic, I also like their beer selection. The shop right next to the restaurant is also great and has a bunch of Eastern European delicacies.
Anne Clark
Classic eastern European in NE! Been coming here and loving it since I started walking. More than just meat, they have a bakery, cheeses and some sweets. The staff are always SUPER helpful and friendly. Love this place!
Alex Sneed Miller
Pretty wide menu with an option anyone will find something they like. They also have a deli and gold desserts too.
S W
Always try to get here when in Minneapolis. Beer sticks and landjaegers are top notch. Huge selection of sausages spans the globe for styles. Smoked and fresh sausages I've had were excellent. Friendly and fast service, and they've always been happy to package my purchase for travel. Hot lunch counter is great too. Highly recommend, this place is outstanding
VALERIE HANNAH
Great eastern European food. Super sausages and meats. Cafeteria style restaurant with soups, sandwiches, hot entrees, desserts, beer and beverages. Condiment bar and "help yourself" to several kinds of bread and butter (I love this). Connected to meat store and bakery with delicious meats, cheeses, and baked goods. It's one of my favorite lunch places:)
Derek Morris
This is a must visit place for me whenever I visit Minneapolis. If you love meat of any kind, you will find something to love even more here. I also love their curry ketchup. I should buy more as I never get enough. This time I also picked up Lieberkase for the first time, and was not disappointed. Looking forward to my next visit.
Ken Seaton
A "must go" spot. The Grinder sandwich is likely the BEST sandwich I have ever had in Minneapolis. Opt for it with Kraut for a real kick. It's a marriage of their best smoked and cured cold cuts with provolone and an outstanding dressing - and the roll it comes on is a delight. Cabbage rolls and virtually anything else there is outstanding. They do an outdoor grill in the summer (brats and Ukranian sausages among others).
Dave Bucklin
What could I say that hasn't been said? Awesome bakery, amazing sausage, Eastern European treats, cabbage rolls that won't quit, pirogis for days, and Baltika #9!
Kyle Lohman
Always amazing. Great soups, pastries, stews, etc.
Sandra Walter Meyer
You will be so excited that you took the time to try this Eastern European food. All homemade food gotten through a buffet line. A small meat/food shop is part of the experience. The food is very good and you will all be smiling with self satisfaction having gone.
Matt Cohen
I like both sides of this establishment: the deli where you can get easily the best sausages in the Twin Cities and the restaurant. Please note that the restaurant is cafeteria style and can be a bit of a hassle especially when it gets busy. But the food is great! Don't miss out on the extras located in the southern dining room, where you can get things like extra horseradish.
Lynn Shoberg
Always stop when we're in town. Great meats and bakery. Grabbed a few meats and cheeses for us and a friend who we introduced the beer sticks to. We usually eat too but had a huge breakfast before we stopped. Took a piece of cake to go for later. Had to settle for cookies. Their kolaches were wiped out in my favorite flavor.
Isaac Hanson
My kind of place! The lunch counter atmosphere, the sausage, the beer selection, the sides. I loved everything about it! I had the peasant pie and it was spot on. The cossack was also delicious and the German potato salad really completed the meal. I was only disappointed that I was too full to try one of the tasty looking desserts.
Steve Kummer
I had lunch here with a friend of mine. It's cafeteria-style service, so you get yourself a tray and ask them to prepare your meals. Menu is fairly simple and quick to order. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was ok; the pastrami was dry. The soup was a bit on the bland side. If I were to come back here, I would probably order what this place is known and that's the sausage and try that. Otherwise, venue is nice. We ate outside on the sidewalk, but overall a nice place to go. Maybe they can get that 5th star from me the next time I come for the sausage.
Yuriy Naidyon
Absolutely insane and delicious selection of sausages!
Charlie Demerjian
Insanely great meat market and resteraunt. Makes thier own sausage, pastry, and breads, then cooks them too. Slab bacon cut to order as thick as you want, and much more. Don't miss this place.
Joe Reicherts
A nice deli with some plate dinners, and cold or hot sandwiches. The bratwurst was delicious, as was the pulled pork. It's hard to stop in just to eat without picking up a bunch of stuff to take home at the store inside too. Left with a bag of smoked sausages and some damn fine desserts for later.
Jesse
They have the best beef jerky in Minneapolis. Try it, you'll probably agree.
Elizabeth Arndt
We had the grinder, cabbage roll, pierogi and German potato salad. Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Also, the service was above and beyond. We can’t wait to return!
Crystal Lefoy
Delicious meatballs and wonderful experience trying food from Poland! Can't wait to try something new on my next visit.
Eva R
Food was OK but it is not Polish (I was born and raised in Poland), more like "resembling Eastern European cuisine - with LOTS of potatoes". The staff seemed very confused and hurried although there was no line and the restaurant was almost empty. It's a nice space but the food and staff is mediocre, at best.
Mallory Besler
Authentic Polish and Slavic restaurant with store attached. The food was excellent and the portions are large. The prices are appropriately. The food is served à la carte and you seat yourself. Beer is offered. The store has a deli counter and bakery along with merchandise. Restrooms are available, and there is a travel agent office inside the restaurant to help you plan your trip to Poland.
Max Richie
Very good food. Can't speak to the authenticity but it seemed authentic to me.
The staff are easy to work with and have a little sense of humor.
The cafeteria style service with a tray line and register at the end makes service move at a steady pace.
bethany kelly
Best beef jerky ever, totally worth the pretty penny! All the sausages we've ever had from here have been great, and their buns are wonderful too. Never eaten in the cafe, but I love the shop!
Collin Mcnulty
Great sausages and pierogi's... getting a little expensive w inflation but still awesome food.
Prime Risk
Get yourself in here! Absolutely fabulous market and restaurant with your finest sausages and other noshes. Always quick and with very generous portions. If you like sausages and sauerkraut, you will never be disappointed here.
Nick Cialek
My family's been getting kielbasa and pierogies from Kramarczuk's for almost 30 years! In that time it has changed very little and still offers the same top notch quality products that it did back then. I still go there frequently to this day, and recently discovered that their ruben sandwich is about the best I've ever had! Kramarczuk's has been a staple source of traditional Polish food for me and my family almost my entire life, I can't recommend it enough.
lil flip
Went here looking for a little action. A little "after hours service." A Sunday special, if you will. I entirely misjudged what types of "services" this establishment provides. That quickly became a reality to me, after my soft, and occasionally explicit requests were met with mortified and utterly confused expressions. Embarrassed and turned on, I apologized and attempted to buy the first sausage I laid my eyes on. The owner was nearly done with my me, as the Polish sausage I wanted to purchase was not quite the type they were offering. So, I instead purchased an item that was actually for sale. Can't blame me, the name is misleading! Cheers! 🍻
Brianna Halverson
Quick, respectful service. Delicious food-- Ahhh, I love Perogies! Will have to be back to try more dishes.
Will Sabol
The restaurant serves authentic Eastern European did that is delicious. The butcher shop had a huge variety of sausages from all different countries. They mix their own seasonings on site.
Steve Bski
Ok, awesome place! My whole family seems to know about this one too and have been here! The food is amazing. We were in the deli side and the smell drew us in. I highly recommend you try this one out. This is definitely not a fancy place it is just the best ethnic food. WIth Polish heritage I had to try it out.
Cassie Mil
Don't veer too far from the classics, like the cabbage roll, smoked Ukrainian sausage with kraut, and pierogis. The beet salad and goulash were forgettable. It would be great if they labeled the food along the cafeteria style line. Feels strange to point to a section and say "what is all that?" before you decide. Staff along the line seem tired and uninterested in the food when I visited yesterday. Their beer and wine selections are damned good though!
Donald P
If you are looking for Slovak/Polish food - This is your place. The food is great, the portions are large, the price is high, but for being a treat it is good. Their market area is nice with a wide variety of meats and treats. The people are helpful and was a nice experience.
Jenny Sijan
After visiting the Mill City Museum, I wanted to find a good local place to bring my visiting relatives. It was so delicious (I even went back for more pierogi). I felt like the food was more authentic than just another chain restaurant and the price was very appropriate. They have a variety of options to eat in and I bought extra food for the week from the deli. You better bet I'll be back for more some time. Thank you!
Candace Kassow
Great foods, from sausages, meats, delicious pastries and desserts to flavorful breads. Deli delivers yummy Eastern European comfort food, with large beer selection. Our family has enjoyed Kramarczuk's since the 1950's, 4 generations appreciate the taste, quality, price and service. The borscht heals colds! The bike jerseys are winners.
Brian Isles
This place is a utopia in Minneapolis! The heavenly smell of meats that hits you when you walk in is so inviting and splendid! I also can't speak highly enough of their food in the restaurant. I've had the combination plate several times, and it's a greatest hits of amazing Polish and German comfort food!
Greg Brough
I’m from Atlanta so we don’t have delis’ like this. I had a wonderful sit down meal of their meatballs and mushroom gravy. Then I got some sausage to go packed suitably for transport. The linguica Portuguese style sausage made for a mighty fine kale and potato soup. I plan to mail order in the future!
Nicole Hughes
I honestly cannot say enough about this restaurant! We loved it and I would honestly say, without a doubt, it was some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Definitely on my top 10 ever! We were there at 12:30pm on a Wednesday. We had a zero wait (though there were others in the place) both on the restaurant and deli sides.
Dianne Schuchard
Kramarczuk's is a great place to go for Eastern European food. Husband had the Holidazzel Brat and a cup of Goulascz Stew. He said it was excellent. I had the Cabbage Roll with the tomato onion sauce. This is the second time I have ordered this and it is delicious. You can also get complimentary 🍞 bread that goes well with the meal. The coffee is good and went nicely with the Walnut Torte which is a winner. When we were ready to go home we stepped into their bakery/meat market and purchased some kolachi and brats. Both items were quite good. We would purchase them again. Chicken, parsley, apple brats and cheese and prune kolachi. The kolachi reminded me of ones I had eaten many years ago. Really nice place!

Authentic, good portions and tasty!

Family owned, great place the beer sticks are my favorite. When I go to Minnesota (I'm from Tacoma) I always try and stop for a couple of pounds of beer sticks.

Many excellent sausages, like the Ukrainian and Polish, but will ONLY buy breakfast sausage from here from now on. Delicious!! Especially when baked in the oven!! Many other delicious foods here as well!!

Exceptional variety of sausage, bakery and extra's. Service is top notch!
Barry Kennedy
Great sausage's and desserts from around the world.

This has become my absolute favorite grocer in Minneapolis. There's an enormous variety of sausages (including some surprises, like a fantastic andouille), plus various cuts of beef and pork-- exactly what's available for cuts seems to vary, but everything I've tried has been exemplary. The desserts are pretty good too, but it's the sausages that are king here. Make it a point to visit and you won't be disappointed.

First time eating in the delicatessen. I brought my elderly Mom and Auntie. They all enjoyed the meal and said they enjoyed the daily special and deserts and will be back. I had the Reuben which was excellent. Love this place!

An awesome dining experience for those among us searching for an old world feel. I know that the website says that the founders came to the U.S. from Ukraine, but I wish a dzien dobri to everyone from my Polish roots east of Bialystok. Sto lat

Fantastic food, casual atmosphere, deli with awesome choices, their donuts never disappoint. Whenever I work in nordeast, I make a point to eat something of theirs. If I lived nearby, I'd stop here multiple times a week.

I have a Christmas Eve gathering at my house for about 30 people every year for about 25 years. I cook 20-25 different types of kramarczuk sausage. Around 35 pounds. They have the best variety and quality. Always friendly and polite. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

My review will focus solely on one specific item. Their beef jerky. It is simply the most delicious jerky I have ever had anywhere on earth. That isn't hyperbole. I'm a beef jerky fanatic and have sampled jerky from around the world. I still come back here when I get the craving. It is tender, perfectly spiced, and feels like you're eating a steak dinner with every bite. Yes, it's that good. I love this place for everything else but thought I'd focus on what keeps me coming back.

The grinder is magnificent! Make sure to bring a friend to help you eat it. Also make sure to have a cooler with you in case you want to buy some of the excellent sausages and other delectable items that they have in their shop.

I just love the smell. Almost nothing better than smoked meats. I always get (I mean it) the Moroccan lamb brats. Such great flavor as all their stuff does. Recently tried the apple, gouda smoked brats and those will be in the shopping bag again next time.
When I don't have time to make my own pierogies, their fresh Deli ones are great. Pretty basic recipes but they're tasty in a pinch.

Amazing food!!! When we walked in it felt liked you where in an old time deli in New York or something. Then you go to the cafe side where it is setup like a cafeteria and you order off the board and its served right up to you. The wife is a Ruben conisure of sorts and said it was one of the best she has had. I had some kind of roll that had ham, cabbage, and swiss cheese in it and it was amazing as well. I tried a potato and cheese perogie that was good to. Well worth your time to experience this place!!! Before you leave be sure to hit the deli they have lots of deserts and fresh meats there were a lot of locals buying sausage in there.

Wide selection of Old Country foods...a bit daunting for those of us not well versed in the flavors of Europe. The folks behind the counter were very helpful and patient with us as we perused the menu.
We settled on a large portion of the Polish and Sourkraut with the 8 Perogi split between the beef and the potato/cheese versions.
Everything was very delicious and the horseradish and sour cream mix for dipping the Perogi was the kicker! The sausage and kraut was excellent...we'll be back and expand our choices :)
Stopped by this last weekend once again and the Cabbage Roll was fantastic! Highly recommend the Tomato Cream Sauce!

This place is a meat lovers dream! Incredible selection of cured meats of really high quality. The cafeteria isn't too shabby either. Large serving sizes at an inexpensive price. This place is the Mecca of meats in the Minneapolis St. Paul area. If you haven't been here you need to go!

A lil bit of Europe without getting on a plane. The food and staff are superb!

The last word in comfort food. Everything here is delicious, and the hot pierogi or the shepherds pie are both wonderfully soothing on those dark, frozen winter afternoons. Another thing that's great about this place is their wide selection of European beers, which mostly all taste alike, but are crisp and refreshing nonetheless. I also enjoy the European grocer next door to the deli, which I believe to be affiliated with the deli.
Scotch n Sodas
This place I am giving 4 stars for the quality of it's food. This is despite the tiny sausage in my gyro and the deli dude foisting odds n ends off on me. Were it not my own desire to preserve places that offer multicultural food; two stars at best for minimal portions and deceitful service. At least the food is fresh, with no msg! A rarity.
Patricia & Jim Harper
Love the old fashion experience of shopping in a European shop with smell of sausage, cheese, and desserts, borscht, gulash, etc and first-class customer service.
Rosalie Wilson
I've been coming here for years as it's a great place to pick up a loaf of freshly baked bread, or grab a bite to eat. The potato leek soup & spicy beer sticks are delicious. Helpful and friendly staff.
Mr. Ed Dumblauskas
Deli selection was great. We purchased Dutch dark chocolate sprinkles that we cannot buy near home. Service was great and helpful. When we return will stock up on favorites.

I was first introduced to Kramarczuk's menu at their annual Beer Festival. I impressed with their pierogies and kielbasa that I had to go back to the restaurant to try out more. I was not disappointed with my visit. I ended up having a sampling of pierogies, the cabbage roll, and borscht. Everything was so flavorful and the portions were large for reasonable prices. I could see this being a regular spot for comfort foods on colder nights in the cold Minnesota winter.
Katherine Longar
The food was authentic and delicious. I had a wonderful time. The deli had a wide variety of meats and cheeses and the desserts we got were delicious. The cannoli itself gives the place five stars!

Finally visited Kramarczuk's yesterday. The special of the day was the garden dog. It was a great quality dog that snapped when I bit into it, yum! The potato and cheese peirogis were excellent, as was the bread. My husband had a pastrami sandwich which was great, and we loved the mustard. Bought a blueberry pastry for today and it was unbelievable. Glad to find this gem!

The owners treated us like family before they knew we were. My wife is the owner’s niece and they hadn’t seen each other since she was small. I was highly impressed by the selection, service and pricing. We wear their shirts with pride!

He kielbasa is where it is at!! You'll never want another bratwurst or sausage, reasonable prices and great food, the deli has a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses and imported goods. Really fun place to stop if you need a change up in your cuisine. Glad it is a local place!
Renee Vandervelde
Great tasting, unique food you won't find at many places. Sausage is really good. On the other hand, the cafeteria feel of the restaurant isn't a great experience. Overall highly recommended, though.

I've never had a bad experience. This is a delicious, traditional place that makes fresh food in house. They also have a deli so you can purchase meat to take home and cook.
Joseph Wheaton
Good butcher and cafeteria. One of the best places to experience Slavic food in the Twin Cities.
Josh Ide
Easy curbside pickup and great customer service. Delicious food that's so hard to get anywhere else in Minnesota. Can't go wrong with the deli or the butcher shop.

24 hours in Minneapolis = very little time for all the great food offerings of the Twin Cities. Upon a recommendation from a friend who used to live in Minneapolis, we decided to try Kramarczuk's as our one and only full meal here.
Everything here is made in house from scratch. The food looks and smells amazing. If you like sausages, pastrami, pierogis, cabbage rolls, and East European food in general, this is the place for you. Kramarczuk's will not disappoint.
We shared the combination platter ($18), which comes with a cabbage roll, three pierogi, a sausage, and a side. We picked the cherry duck sausage and sauerkraut as the side. Oh my, the cherry duck sausage was so, so delicious. I'm so glad we decided to go with it. The pierogi was also fantastic.
I love how everything here is handmade and the food is pure, authentic East European delicacies. So delicious and filling! There's also a bakery and deli attached to the restaurant, where you can buy various breads, cakes, tortes, fresh meats, and imported European foods.
Highly recommended if you're in Minneapolis!

We shopped in the store part instead of eating in restaurant. It is such a great place to get sausages, bread and other unique foods. The spicy Italian sausage is the best😊 …
Shawn Karber
Great little dinner with classic Eastern European food. Deli is best I've ever been to. Many kinds of sausages, meats, and wonderful pastries. Worth a visit!
