OK so first of all just know we go along with the flow of my Son who is obviously younger (LOL) and knows all the COOL places to try while his ancient Parents just stay around home in West Allis. Anyway he took us to this cute Deli and had us order some sausages from the Deli counter and it was so cute because people were in there speaking Polish I think but anyway my Hubby found a good Black Beer Porter that he liked and my Son got some Peerogies to that he said were tasty! He even said he would have us over for dinner and make them for us with the sausages! What a nice Son!

Great little deli! Went here on a recommendation from a Polish friend of mine.. he said it was the best place to go. I went in to find some Polish desserts for a Christmas party and was not dissapointed! The lady working the counter was very nice, food was great, beer was good, and they had the vodka that my wife (and her family) really liked! Will definitely shop here again!

This place brought me back! It is a small place just like J B Deli in Necedah, WI with tons of chocolates, cookies and imported polish beers! The meat case was full of sausages and meats but they were out of garlic ham (my youngest favorite!). The fresh Polish looked too good not to leave with! We also had to get 6 packs of pierogies, too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was cool to be waited on again by someone that spoke Polish! That hasn't happened for a long time. They told us that they could have the garlic ham by Wednesday but we won't be back in Milwaukee for 6 months. We will definitely stop back then!

Wow what a place. Lots of polish specialties, liquors, pierogi's, meats, etc. Found Debowa and Turowka (zubrowka pseudo knock off), and the prices are good. Cool touch is a front window full of giant rubber plants, palms, and other neat things. Well worth the trip. Need to go back soon to try some of my favorites.

Been coming here since I was little with my grandma. It's small, but has the BEST polish sausage and other little polish treats. Staff is always friendly and very helpful.

Google maps will tell you it's on the left but it gets you there. It's right next to a gas station. Pretty good polish meats.. no homemade deli counter . their polish is better than an average grocery store's. Casing is a little tough ,alot of hams and lunchmeat products and lot of canned and glass jar foods. All in all worth a visit Fresh polish usually on wed. or better Friday.

Great little market for authentic polish food. Unfortunately when I visited on 12/19/20, none of the employees were wearing masks, which is why I didn’t give five stars. Would absolutely give five stars if masks had been worn.

Excellent Polish mini-market / deli! Every time I step inside I feel like I'm back in Poland. The sausage and cheese come straight from Polish companies in Chicago and in Poland. Friendly honest owners and staff. Polish food is good food, and A & J carries the best. Fresh bread and bulki, sok, canned goods. Also, Polish chocolates, seasoning packets, beer & vodka, magazines. Highly recommended. (PS If you're visiting from out of town take a drive down Lincoln just a block or two East and admire out famous statue of Kościuszko. There's a Polish mass every Sunday at 10:30 at St Cyril and Methodius / Maximilian Kolbe Catholic church just around the corner from the deli.)

If you want authentic Polish food, this is the place to go. Free street parking. However, don't expect to carry on a robust conversation in English with the lady who works there, her level of English comprehension is very basic. I bought kielbasa, Polish smoked sausages, pierogies, and Polish sauerkraut there. The kielbasa and the pierogies were excellent. Haven't eaten the other stuff yet.

Went there to buy kołaczki, but some many more delicious Polish goodies, there are cookies imported from Poland that taste heavenly. You can also find magazines in Polish and several other items, not just deli meats. A place to go.

Highly recommend to anyone willing to taste the original Polish sausages -- kielbasa -- the so called 'Polish' sausages sold in big grocery stores have very different taste, and lost a lot of the original Polish taste. In addition kielbasa sold at A&J is minimally processed, so it is more healthy. A&J is also great place to buy variety of delicious candy and sweets from the Eastern Europe. Try it!

Drive one hour to go there once a year to load up on kielbasa and Polish saurkraut. Great products and friendly service. Shops like this are a rarity enjoy them before modern practice's gobble them up.

Great fresh Polish Sausage. The hole family looks forward to the holidays when we bring the Polish Sausage. Best deli selection ever. Making the trip from Caledonia is well worth it. Be seeing be there soon.

Great local business, extensive deli counter with many sausages. Good canned fish and dark rye breads. They have polish spring water like Nałęczowianka. Many of the groceries are imported from Chicago but some are straight from Poland. One of the best on lincoln

A & J Polish Deli is awesome. This is a Traditional Polish Deli with many different kinds of Polish Sausages & Polish Foods, including Polish Soda that is imported from Poland according to the bottles. The owners are really nice people from Poland. I Love listening to them talk with their Polish Accents. It reminds me of listening to my Busia & Dziadzia (Grandma & Grandpa in Polish). I absolutely Love shopping at A & J Polish Deli. There are not too many Polish Places that are left in Milwaukee. European Homemade Sausage Shop on Muskego Avenue was a Polish Sausage Shop that Sadly closed up a little more then a Year Ago now. They had the best Fresh Homemade Polish Sausage next to my Family's. Frank who was the owner of European Homemade Sausage Shop really knew his stuff when it came to making sausage. I now shop at A & J Polish Deli since European Homemade Sausage Shop closed. The Southside of Milwaukee used to be predominantly Polish, German, & Irish. There are only a handful of Polish Places & History that is left in Milwaukee County. The Basilica Of Saint Josaphat which is also known as St. Josaphat's Polish Roman Catholic Church which my Great Great Grandparents helped build in 1897 is still here. It is just down the block on 6th & Lincoln from A & J Polish Deli. St. Stanislaus Catholic Church which is a Polish Catholic Church is on 5th & Mitchell. There is one Polish restaurant that is left in Milwaukee County besides Polish Fest which is "America's Largest Polish Festival" & The Polish Center Of Wisconsin In Franklin. I am Happy that I found A & J Polish Deli. They sell all kinds of Polish stuff there including Polish Tyskie Beer. Go shopping at A & J Polish Deli. I Promise that you won't be disappointed. I will give them the benefit of the doubt...maybe they were sold out of a lot of things by the time I went in there. BUT....coming from Chicago and being a Pole, this place was kind of embarrassing to call itself a Polish deli. The Polish deli's in Chicago are like taking Poland and plopping it into the city and here you go...Polish food galore! At this location, there was no bread, the deli choices are very slim, no premade food (hot or cold) and a bit overpriced. Yes, maybe I am spoiled by the big city, but it just cannot be the best Polish deli in Milwaukee. The stuff I found here I could find for cheaper at Cermak's grocery store in West Milwaukee. I wish I could have found a great Polish place in Milwaukee since moving up here, but honestly, I would rather drive back to Chicago and spend my money there.

Great fresh cuts selection. A wide assortment of sweets and pastries. A very friendly personnel and awesome prices when compared to any other deli places in town. Highly recommended.

Fast & very friendly service, super low price for processed meat products (compared to grocery or butcher stores) easy access to and from highway 43. Hours open: M-F 10 am - 6 pm, Saturdays 10 am - 5 pm and Sundays 10 am - 2 pm I visit the store on different days and hours and yes, they have breads! Kind expensive bread but on shelves. Pro: low price and 7 days a week service Cons: no web site & often run out of the Buchon rolls
