A writer from Ohio, I wanted to check out Virginia Beach's newest indy bookstore: Wow! What a great bookshop in a cool, artsy area! Read books is well worth a stop for the good reads on the beach and at home. Take time to talk with the friendly local owners.

A wonderful addition to the Vibe in a cool vintage Airstream trailer! Read Books is chock full of treats to satisfy every reader’s taste. Their customer service is superb, and they also offer read aloud times for kids.

This is an amazing space with a proprietor who knows her stuff (she is a former teacher and school librarian). Great for kids' books, too: we've found several new favorites for our almost-five-year-old. A wonderful local resource!
