Absolutely blown away by this comic book store. I dropped in looking for an annual while on vacation and couldn’t believe what I’d stumbled upon. EVERY. SINGLE. COMIC. is bagged and boarded (including the dollar comics!), the variety and availability of variant covers is the widest and most diverse I’ve seen, the staff was solid in their knowledge and the store is generous with their pricing. 10/10 comic book store experience, will visit again!

This is a great LCS if your in the Tampa area. Huge selection of new comics, back issues, small keys and graded books. They have alot of crates to dig through but they do an excellent job of presenting books you'd really want on the display walls, and they have alot of walls. I scored some great books at a really fair price here so I am glad to spread the good word about these peddlers of picture books.

The staff is really helpful and the prices are great. I went in there to get Strange Academy: First class, they didn't have a copy in stock, they first checked to see if they could order it, when it was unavailable to order from their distributor, they then called a few nearby shops to see if any of them had it, no one had it in stock, so they looked online to see where I could order it and receive it at the best price with the best delivery speed. They have on multiple occasions helped pick out comics for my kid, she always enjoyed their picks. They have ordered comics for me as well as held Comics I requested. They are knowledgeable, polite, helpful, and their prices are fair. I definitely recommend this shop.

I was in town for a concert. I was killing time and found this location by chance. From the outside this location looks unassuming, but to my surprise the inside was nice and clean. Staff was a pleasure to speak with. Answered any questions I had. Selection was a good mix of older books to new books. I absolutely loved the bundled issues. Was even nice enough to give me a discount so I can purchase all of my selections. Will definitely be visiting if I am ever in town.

This is by far my favorite comic shop and my partner and I have made it our mission to visit comic shops in the Tampa Bay area. They have a HUGE selection and if you can't find what you're looking for they will order it for you and call you to come pick it up. They have a subscription service as well which is great because it gets us in there to look around and has even gotten our 9 year old to find a few books she likes! The staff is always super friendly, very helpful and they make you feel like old friends hanging around the shop. I would definitely suggest getting some Magic The Gathering stuff in there, it's really my only suggestion!

This little hidden comic books store it's super easy to miss. The "$1 comic books" was the only thing that caught my attention and I had to lap around to only miss the entrance for a second time. The street being under construction doesn't make it any better may I add. The store itself is super "dark", very tight aisles but packed with comics from the ground up! Keep a look out for the top of the shelves too because the have some cool collectible items that might interest you. Only a 3 of 5 for me because of the lighting and the easy to drive past it.

This was my first visit. Nice selection, lots of new comics and graphic novels/TPBs. Pretty good amount of back issues, but only alphabetized by letter. You have to take a while to look through the whole category to see if they have what you're looking for. I was able to fill in some holes I had in my collection of newer titles that I had missed. There also have some old books for sale in good condition. Staff seemed very nice and helpful, and the customers who came in while I shopped seemed to love the store.

Absolutely adore this place! I'm a big nerd, so I'm always on the hunt for new comic shops and the like, but Comics & Stuff is easily one of my favorites in Tampa Bay! The interior is cozy and the comics are abundant (of course they are, it's a comic shop!). I took my brother there with me and he was able to find some Green Lantern comics he's been looking for, which he was super excited about. It's all very organized. I often stick around for hours just exploring everything the shop has to offer. When I asked about what comics are selling hot right now, the staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting what I should check out based off my interests. I got into a few new comic series thanks to the awesome suggestions by the staff! I now stop by here whenever I know my wallet can handle all the new comics I want to buy, haha. There's a little something for everyone here if you're a DC/Marvel fan or even for independent comic series (which is my favorite section of the store!). This store is a real gem and I'm so glad to have found it. Check it out if you have the time! :)

Stopped in for the first time to pick uo some boxes for my collection that survived a hurricane. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection of comics was incredible. I felt like a kid again walking through the store. On top of that, the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this store.

Great old school comic store. Plenty of copies of new releases and nice selection of older stuff at very reasonable prices. And enough toys and fun stuff to keep it interesting without it feeling like a Funko store that sells some comics. Friendly staff too.

I have been coming to this comic book shop for a year now. It's a very decent size shop, they have a very large selection of comics available, they also have collectibles and toys available. They have very good prices and they are very supportive of the artist and their community. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of comics sometimes you find some good hidden gems. Good hunting.

Picky people pick Peter, the Peddler, of those pretty Picture Books! Comics & Stuff is a great place, with an awesome staff. I cannot visit this place, without leaving with something. Peter and his staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The store is organized and full of gems! Also, they have best deals, in central Florida. Let me just start off by saying, I have been to quite a few different comic shops. This place is hands down one of the best shops I’ve ever been to. The reason why? They actually sell comic books!!!! Imagine that. It’s nice not walking in and the first thing I see is a wall of Funko pop dolls all over the place. The employees and management are top notch. They are easily accessible through Facebook, so if you need to add something to your pull list or just have a general question, they get back to you right away. Not to mention they give pull list subscribers a discount if they have 10 or more titles on their list. The store is clean, it’s organized, the books are taken care of. Everything is bagged and boarded. Bottom line, Comics and Stiff actually care about the two most important things in this industry - The Customer and The Comics. You’ve got my business till I either move or my untimely demise. Keep up the great work guys, love the store.

My number one LCS, if your looking for new or classic titles this is the place! Everyone in the shop has a high comic book IQ which makes every visit worth the trip. Great back issues and services geared to all collectors as well as hobbyist. 9 out of 10...

Became my favorite comic book shop in Tampa really quick. Good guys that know their stuff. I work all over Central Florida, and they have the best Dollar Bin I've seen. Highly organized!! Their key issuses are very reasonably priced as well. They'll get 10 stars from me if I could give them.

Started coming to this shop when the one I went to closed down. Pete, the shop owner is helpful, will give suggestions based on what you might like and has no problem ordering a comic for you. Isn't pushy, won't hover around while you take a look and will remember if you've come in before or what you've bought before. Shop is definitely worth checking out!

I went here looking for a Christmas present my boyfriend would truly enjoy and appreciate. The guys who helped me were absolutely amazing and extremely patient with me as I took forever deciding on the “perfect” gift- one that would surely please any comic super fan AND was still in my price range. Not only did I leave there feeling confident in my selections, they reduced the price on one item and threw in a green lantern picture (a favorite) for free. But best of all- on Christmas Day- not only was I happy because I felt had “nailed it”, my boyfriend was genuinely happy and impressed as well 😊😊 Thank you guys again- I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Walked in here with the intent to purchase as many Captain America comic books in the dollar bin as I could to pass along to my nephew and I was overwhelmed with how many issues they actually had. Stopped by for the first time today. Saw the $1 comics sign outside, had to check it out! It's a very neat and clean store, all the most recent issues are up to date and nicely displayed. The $1 section has sleeved and unsleeved issues, but I wish they were organzied alphabetically! It would make looking for titles MUCH easier. (In fact, if they needed the help for that, I'd love to do it for them) Overall, it's a nice small shop I'll definitely be visiting again.

Updating this review, as - WOW! - this store has grown so much since the review was first written. When I first visited Comics & Stuff now three years ago, it was as someone two decades removed from reading a comic book...and at their small location off busy Kennedy Boulevard. At this location, I met the amazing owner - Peter - also his trusty sidekick, Anthony. I first dropped in with my better half out of curiosity...and then found myself subscribing to an array of suggested titles...also picking up select investment books Peter handpicked. This hidden gem soon grew into a diamond mine. So much so, Peter moved the store to a beautiful location on Gray Street where it remains to this day. With the move, Comics & Stuff tripled in size and staff (Sara and Tim ROCK), and is literally a store for everyone. Dollar books by the thousands, awesome vintage/collector books, independents galore, every mainstream new issue, and a terrific trade book (to include used) and toy section. Most importantly, Comics & Stuff is for everyone, regardless of comic book familiarity. No one is ever shunned for knowledge or lack thereof, and young, old, dudes and dudettes are all welcome. With this being said, serious collections will find highest end CGC slabbed issues come/go through the shop on a daily basis. And Peter/Anthony will ping customers if something they'd love walks in. (Ahem.) Tip: watch their FB page! Since I first wrote a review for Comics & Stuff, so many more gave it a deserved five stars and for great reason. Anyone passing through Tampa and/or with a curiosity/passion for comics will find no better shop in the Bay Area, period.
