Decent size manga section. Hundreds of gift options from babies to however old you can get to. We got a puzzle for a low impact family activity and husband got a book from the religious section. As always, I wanted to get all of the things and the staff was very helpful even though we couldn't find a book on the topic I was looking for (but let's be real, UCC law sounds like a special order kinda book anyway lol). Overall good experience in the store with a relaxing atmosphere.

I have trouble finding things at times but they're great about helping me find them. Everyone here is nice. My only complaint is nearly all books are cheaper on the website by $2-5 and you have to ask them to price match or they will charge you full price.

For a bookstore, they don't have a lot of books anymore. There is a lot of toys, games and music that makes up at least half the store now. They didn't have any of the books I was looking for.

Some of the selection were very slim vs other B&Ns I've been too. I would say it is very average size store, not to small but also not too big. Their cafe area is design very nicely and is much more appealing than some. I like to browse at many B&Ns around the country this one wouldn't be my go too unless I like a quick grab, even then I like to see more special editions hardback boxes here more like the other B&Ns without online ordering. Seeing is better than visualizing.

I checked ahead for a specific manga online, and it was correctly listed as in stock. Unfortunately, there was a big tear along the backside of the book! They let me order a different copy to my house for free shipping though, so overall I'm happy!

I'm always in awe of Barnes and Noble, like I am of libraries. I used to feel intimidated when shopping there, but the employees are so friendly, and so helpful. I'm still in awe, but now it's awe of all the fascinating treasures that are within those walls. It's so much more than a book store, its a magical experience. Even if i don't make a purchase (I'm sure they would rather that I did), I always feel enriched by my visit. I can't sing their praises highly enough!

This is a great location everytime I stop by. Always impressed by their selection of books, puzzles, or games, I can usually always find what I am looking for - or else a staff member is willing to get it on order. Cozy atmosphere as well. If I were to pick one thing they could improve upon, I would suggest that employees working the floor be a tad bit more aware of customers/customer needs. Though I have nothing bad to really say about this location. It is a more than adequate facility, and definitely has friendly staff.

Have literally spent hours if not days here. Every time I go it's nearly a 2 hour ordeal. I always loved the setup here. The Cafe is a perfect touch... a useful place to take a pile of books and grab a bite and drink as you plot whether to by 20 or 25 books. The book prices can sometimes be high, but at the same time some of their deals are always super awesome. I also don't mind paying for knowledge. Recommend.

Good selection of books from infants to adults, plenty of educational material as well. Love the coffee shop inside, really gives it that inviting atmosphere. Bathrooms were pretty gross so definitely go before you leave the house but rest of store is extremely clean and well kept.

Very lovely place to go look for books or have a stay in the cafe! I've not needed to speak with the employees here very often but each time I do they have been rather rude, almost with an I'm better than you attitude. But otherwise if you don't plan to have a chat with them it very well stocked, always clean, and usually quiet given there's no large families that entered.

One of my favorite stores. Staff was very helpful when I needed assistance locating some books. Checkout was very slow however with only one cashier and several people in line. After about 10 minutes, a second cashier opened up and line moves quickly. Very friendly!

this is readers paradise! I love this store ! I can spend hours in there and I love the discount card . I don't get there more than couple tines a year but need a new bookcase every time I go! They gave a lively coffee juice and pastry bar that you can sit and read or choose a novel to take home. this is a literary treasure trove and I can't get enough of

Lost a star just because of how hard they pressure you to join their membership. Had a manager check me out and he asked about 5 times and explained the benefits twice, not exaggerating. Barnes & Noble isn't just a book store, it is an amazing place to study as well! I go to Barnes & Noble all the time to study, and it is great. The cafe is awesome, though some things tend to be a bit pricey. They serve a decent amount of Starbucks beverages. The place is pretty chill, but with an occasional running child. Staff and workers are always friendly and helpful, but the cons. It is often cold, so bring a jacket. Also, the books are usually 5-10$ more expensive then Amazon and online book vendors. Almost every book I am about to buy, I find 5 bucks cheaper online. Otherwise, Barnes & Nobles is pretty decent.

Always understaffed. Long waits at checkout. Staff are friendly and helpful but just not enough of them. And for some strange reason they feel the need to frequently move sections around the store causing confusion. Maybe the manager once worked in the fruit and vegetable department in a supermarket where they also do that.

Great place for adults and kids! Tech section for adults to look at all the fun things and a kids section for the kids to spend hours begging you to get them something. If you kids like Legos they this is the place to be, as they have a huge selection. They also have a Starbucks inside so you can get your coffee fix. Did I mention they have books too? Loved this store overall. My daughters and I visited on a Tuesday afternoon while our husbands were gun shopping. Parking: 5 STARS - so much parking! Loved being able to park close Coffee Shop: 3 STARS - We went to the barista and ordered drinks. There was quite a long line and it took about 25 minutes for us to get our iced coffees. We didn't mind waiting, and I don't know if that's the norm - the barista was apologetic and friendly and doing her best, so there was no point in getting upset about it. Books: 5 STARS - We shopped the books and enjoyed the selection in the store. The employees were super friendly and helpful and were able to point us in the right direction when we asked about a certain book. Bathroom: 5 STARS - Big, clean bathroom - I stress the clean part. Very nice.

So much to choose from, and good deals if you know where to look. I could spend most of my day in there. The only negative I would give it is I miss the chairs that they used to have possession all over the store so you could actually sit down and look at a book for a few moments. But I suppose they kept getting a bunch of squatters who ruined it for the rest of us. Either way it's still a good store and obviously well known. The Sioux Falls location is clean and the staff is friendly, yes I would recommend this place.

Friendly staff, they're also very helpful and will help you find any book you're after. They also have a decent sized vinal section and lots of fun games for kids and young adults. It may be a little picky, but the main reason I didn't give five stars is because of the Starbucks. The service was very slow even though there were only 3 people in total, I'm also not the biggest Starbucks fan either.

The store itself is beautiful and well organized, despite the massive amount of inventory they keep. The employees that I encountered were just absolute dolls. Over all good selection of titles. Definitely regional tastes. High octane coffee and excellent atmosphere for studies. I had no problems with customer service; I was completely ignored and allowed to search at will and with much confusion. It made my ultimate success rather fulfilling but, unduly lengthy. Sales staff polite and informed regarding sales merchandise, provided helpful suggestions.

I do not want them to order it 4 me and send it to me. So I went home order it on prime recived next day free delivery. Always a quality bookstore experience. They have basically anything you could want short of local flavors, and if they don't they can usually ship it to the store for free. They also have plenty of deals for various books. Their movies/TV shows are outrageously priced, but I guess that's what you get when you buy movies from a bookstore. Will continue to buy books here whenever I buy physical copies.

Love being a Barnes and Noble member and getting all the discounts. I enjoy going there just to look at what's new and there are always open spots to sit down with a new book and relax. They have movie sales quite often and you can get classic movies that aren't on streaming services for a great deal. I had an issue with my account and the store manager was outstandly helpful as the rest of the staff tend to be as well.

I could live here!! There is so much offered here. The cafe was baking fresh cookies while I was there and it smelled so good--it was frustrating to know I had only a short time to get what I wanted and not long enough to wait until the cookies were done. I like this type of store. I could literally spend hours, days 😀browsing here. The staff helped me easily find a book that I only remembered part of the name- it's true, ha ha (a book about sisters). I actually bought a membership card as it would save me a lot of money in the long run. The books I ordered arrived in 5 days with free shipping. Great place.

Complaining about not understanding memberships, or coming into a store right when it's closing? really? I have shopped here since it opened, have always found the employees helpful and polite. Order a lot from online and useful for the occasional return. We are lucky to have a well-run bookstore here. Not 5 stars because generally don't give top rating.

Absolutely love this Barnes and Noble. They have a great selection of books of all kind. It's really nice that they have a Starbucks inside as well. The one thing I don't like which is unoversal among all Barnes and Noble stores is the overpriced dvd's and bluray's. Other than that, love the store to death.

I love how large the Manga section is, and I'm really happy they have the Persona series. I always find new books to check out when I'm there and I love the notebook selections as well as all the collectibles they have too.

And for kids who don't like reading there are a bunch of toys available. And for when I'm hungry (which is most of the time) theres a cafe with a good selection of food.

The Barnes and Nobles staff is incredibly helpful, polite, and even funny. They seem to truly want to make connections with their customers. Whenever we are in Sioux Falls, we always stop by, it is a whole family affair. We always find something for everyone. Plus, when you're a member you get great discounts and that with coupons really helps this teaching, book loving, sux member family keep our budget.

Staff is friendly and helpful if you ask a question. I will admit that I rarely go into book stores any more due to the internet and digital copies. I recently went in and went straight to the section I always do: SciFi/fantasy. I was shocked. It was only one aisle. I know it's due to lack of sales due to people like me buying most of my books as digital copies but I expected a little more I guess. Although, the comic book and manga section was quite large by comparison.

I usually go there to get coffee and sweets and they really have varieties of sweets than any other Starbucks and I like that, however one barista at cashier she doesn’t smile, and don’t ask my name, when I asked something for drink because it wasn’t prepared, to put away, her attitude was back to me in order tone. No one has been rude to me. and I usually find what I am looking for. There are people that might not like Walmart, and they are allowed to think what they want; I do not have a problem with them. They are the only big game in town, but I would still go there if they were not. Target charges too much for food items, and they support political causes that I do not.

Even if Barnes & Noble *didn't have a Starbucks it would be my home away from home. Not only can you find your favorite books, games and souvenirs from them, but you can stay as long as you like just reading the books they have! How can you not love a bookstore that gives the option of knowing whether you want to invest in their product before doing so??? To me, if this place ever went out of business, life as I know it would cease to exist! Don't forget to check them out when the opportunity arises!!! They are more than worth it!

Clean and well distributed with interesting books, fuzzy/homy nick-nacks, games, and puzzles. I find their selections to be very mainstream. I tried to look for language books on Hindi, and I was ready to buy anything they would have had, but nothing was there. But that's no reason not to go to this B&N, they have a quaint Starbucks with a surprising amount of food and coffee choices. It may take a minute extra to get your order, but it's done up very well.

The cafe serves Starbucks coffee and Cheesecake Factory sweets. And, consistent with Barnes and Noble stores, they don't accept Starbucks cards or apps, so bring cash or credit. The cafe au lait with soy was hot and perfectly balanced. They suggested the smores chip cookie warmed and it was the perfect compliment. Oh, and they have books, too. So, go read already.
