It's my go-to for a fun, fresh mix of old finds, classic art books, or books that need to be saved (bookbinding repair or upcycling). They receive a lot of books to keep the inventory very, very fresh! Very knowledgeable staff too; if they have it, they know it. If not, they can make a suggestion or take your name in case a certain book title shows up. Plus, the restaurants around the bookstore make the neighborhood a fun destination. The space is a little small, so it gets crowded on weekends, so I try to go on weekdays if I want to browse a lot of titles.

Such a great thrift bookstore! I’ve found several books here that I loved. Sometimes you can find BOTM club books too which are usually pretty good. The staff is really nice and helpful too.

This is store is packed with books, literally. There are three floors with a large variety of used books from religion to young adult fiction to horror books it's got something for everybody. The store does feel a little cluttered and unorganized, which didn't make me feel the urge to browse as much as other book stores I've visited. However, I am sure if you have an idea of what you want you can probably find it or something similar. The staff wasn't very attentive and kept to themselves while we were in the store. Decent store overall.

What a quaint bookstore! This was found by my daughter while we were exploring after going over the Fremont Bridge. It was worth the time to look around. We even found a couple of books to take with us on our cruise.

The place is adorable and quaint. A nice spot. I couldn’t find any of the books I was looking for which is normal because they aren’t supposed to have everything and my preferences probably just didn’t align with their collection.

I found a book I’ve been wanting to read that was in perfect condition for literally half the price. Ophelia’s has a great selection of books in good condition for a steal. Highly recommend!

the people here are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. every time i visit, i find yet another impactful book. their curation is sublime and the spiraling staircase into the lower level is a lovely touch the store location is fantastic. there’s sushi, bakery, burgers, gelato and so so much nearby as well. though be mindful of the limited space 🐱

I love love love this little bookstore! I have found so many gems browsing through the shelves here, as well as popular bestsellers- this place has it all. I especially love the folks that work at Ophelias, they are super friendly, funky, knowledgeable and generally just cool people. This is the kind of bookstore that I’m so glad exists in Fremont, I hope it stays around forever. If you’re in Fremont for the farmers market or a bite to eat, try to stop by and show Ophelias some love!
