On a sun-dappled day, this bookstore was a haven. There was a wide variety of books and the shelves were filled with them. The lighting was just right and there was this old cozy feeling. However, I wish it was easier to take out the books I wanted. The books were arranged in tall piles and I was afraid that they would topple over if I tried to pull one out! I was helped by the person at the store which was a relief!

Awesome book store and I love their convenient hours. If you are even slightly literate, plan on spending a few hours here shopping and browsing. Deep selection of topics for sale here.

In my not so humble opinion, the best book store in the entire Market! Located on the very bottom inside levels, which, by and large, JUST HAPPENS to be the coolest (and least crowded) level of the entire Pike Place complex. This shop gers its name from the fact that it's got Books Like a M*tha F*cka, the collection is curated really well, and quite browsable in all the ways you want from a used book store, but rarely find. It fits in perfectly on this gem of a level in the Market with a record store, a pop art shop & galleries, a rummage shop, a photo booth, a psychic, and so much more. If you're in the Market for books, shop small, shop local, and come here first 🖤

I loved this place. The owner was super friendly and helped me find some treasured hard to find comics. My favorite book store in Seattle by far. Great prices too.

Masterfully curated selection of books! Most used bookstores I've been to require some digging to find gems, with an over-abundance of pop lit and lesser-known 'meh' authors, but every shelf I went through had MULTIPLE novels that grabbed my interest! Not to mention their graphic novel/comic selections, the variety of authors available, the clean organization while still maintaining that "used bookstore" feel - absolutely loved all of it. Oh, and the atmosphere felt like they were clearly part of the community; they had customers drop in just to talk - including someone from NY that just wanted to see the owner!

I love this place, its my favorite book store in Seattle. Honestly though, I wish there was a better way to browse the graphic novels. They're mostly all in tall stacks, which is fine if I know EXACTLY what I want, but its very inconvenient when I want to pick up something NEW.

great selection of books in a pretty small space, with a solid dollar rack.

The best used bookstore! Browsing is a dream and the owner knows where almost every book is! Picked two titles in horror and mystery. At checkout the owner was able to talk about each author, and it made me even more happy with my purchase. Do NOT miss out on this place when you’re at the market.

Definitely a highlight of my trip to Seattle while visiting this bookstore. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable and had everything I needed! Will definitely come back on my next visit to Seattle. Went three times during my stay there! I hope the community will continue to support❤️

I think this might be the best used book store I've ever been in. Everywhere I looked there was a book I wanted, or had read and loved. The person behind the counter, I assumed it was the owner but I don't know for sure, knew where every book was. It was incredibly impressive to just ask after a title and watch them go immediately to where it was in the store. A very nice experience and very reasonable prices.
