Always a great selection! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Space is wheelchair accessible! But this is perhaps more by accident. The space they moved into already had a cement wrap leading up to the door so it is not to code. If you're there alone you need to call and ask them to open the door if it's not propped open already. If you have an electric chair you should be able to go right in. If you have a manual chair you'll need some assistance pushing up, the rampers is on the steep side. It is doable. I do it all the time, with help up and down

For the size great little comic book shop on 2nd street. I would say I wish they had better signage on the building because I kept missing it and walked right past it. Good stock, great staff, really nice collection of Gundam build kits. Their membership location is even bigger by Willowgroove area will check that one out later.

Probably the biggest selection of newer comics I've seen. The back issue selection is fairly non-existent, but thats ok. Lots of cool figures and statues to buy. Everything is fairly priced (for the city anyway). I've never been here before, and I like it so far.

I Visited today for the first time and I truly enjoyed every minute i spent, everything is well placed and very organized, there's alot to look at as well as to buy from new to old comics, collectable action figures and status, comic book protection products as well as playing card protection sleeves. The shop was great to visit they had a select collection of pop figures that i haven't seen at any other comic book store. If your a collector then i would highly suggest going here they have a nice selection of statues and comics in the back of the store they also have games and gundam figures that you can build and collect i would highly recommend coming to this store i cant wait to go back and collect more pop figures i might even pick up a statue or two

Love this spot. Staff is super nice and seem to really enjoy the work and have pride in their shop. Bought few books from them and seem to have a really diverse selection, but I patron cuz it's also like the only place in Philly that sells Gundam model kits. The manager was the one working the front desk, and he was super nice and helpful. Any time I had a question about a comic, he had an answer, and he was knowledgeable about all of them, not limited to just Marvel, or just Batman, of anything like that. I asked a lot of questions while I was there because I'm fairly new to comics, but he didn't seem put off by my frequent questions in the slightest. I definitely want to come by again if I am in the area.

As a first time customer I had questions about maintaining a piece from my dads collection and learned a ton about what to do to keep the integrity of the comic book safe. This is such a great comic book store. They have a really excellent selection and very nicely laid out. They have amazing enamel pins. Although, they are very overpriced. but they give you a lot of good deals on other stuff. There was a lot of bargain bins and they had a bunch of comic book collection sort of books that were half off. Highly recommend doing the store.

By far the best comic book shop I've ever been to. Even with being in the Philly area, this shop is worth taking a trip to. Big variety of comics but I was there specifically because I collect gunplas. They had a huge array of gunplas from HGs to RGs and Master Grades as well. They also have a discount system where you get $10 off your next purchase after spending $100.00. Highly recommended for people who are into this niche hobby!

This is a very nice looking comic shop, that is certainly the first thing you will notice about it. You are immediately greeted with a few cases of awesome collector figures in the front cases. They have a great selection of new comics and miscellaneous comic collectibles. I picked up a pretty hard to find Thor variant at a decent price here. My only complaint is that their back issue selection is incredibly lacking. If you are looking for older comics this isn't the place, but if you are in the market for newer comics and collectibles I would recommend Brave New Worlds.

*This is a woman-friendly comic store and has female employees! I always visit comic shops when I travel. This was a friendly shop with a great selection of new release comics and trade paperbacks. They have a small back issue selection as well. They also have one of the most extensive collections of statues I've seen in a shop, as well as tons of Funko Pops and some action figures, t-shirts, and other merch. The woman working when I visited was knowledgeable and obviously enjoyed her job. I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in town,

Best comic-book store ever! Excellent customer service, well-versed (and incredibly cool) staff, huge selection and yes, the subscription service is "TOP OF THE LINE!" The staff never forgets to pull a title and keep you informed of upcoming releases, that you might find interesting. A rarity when it comes to comic shops. I shop at the Philly location and will continue to do so, as long as comics don't go digital! Lol.

I'm in town visiting and have been going to each comicbook store in town. This one had a great selection of new comics, variants, TPB and a bunch of cool statues including this badass hulk statue. Parking was pretty easy but the one issue I had was that there was nowhere to just sit down for a few minutes and for me that makes it hard to really get a good idea of what is there. I have a bad leg and need to sit for a little. If I get the chance to do that I will buy more.

I may not be a die hard comic book fan but I do love great stories with interesting plots. I found this place by accident when I visited philly and now I always want to come here. There are a huge amount of comic books and collectables here. I personally love the sales sections they have where I can get a good comic book hardcover to read on my trip back home. Tbis place is a must for people who like the adventure genre and like to keep uptodate with the Marvel and DC world.

Brave New worlds has a everything a nerd could want! Good variety of comic books, board and trading card games, posters, t-shirts, and of course statues of your favorite heros and villians. Today I only went there to meet up with friends, however I ended up buying vampirella vol #1 for character design research. I saw similar comic books about hell and demons, but they didn't have the first volume for any of the other series I was looking at. I had $20 dollars I was willing to spend, but I'm a stickler about starting a book series at the beginning. Well, I'll be back in August to get the next issue of vampirella.
