Good selection of tabletop and card games, plenty of comics as well. Service is what you'd expect on Saturday night at your local game shop (one helpful person and one person doing their own thing at the counter. Still able to help, but helping is a chore and they will only point you in the right direction) Dig the fact that they still have individual dice for sale, and their mini selection is extremely robust! Dnd players should check them out for sure!

Very friendly staff, large selection of just about everything. They even do trade-ins at decent prices (for store credit, cash is a lot less), be sure to call ahead though. Family friendly and a great place to spend time. Separate review just for their bathrooms: 10/10 would recommend. Not crowded, clean, even have the good toilet paper and a plunger in the stall.

This is the larger location. We found out that they will soon be moving but this location was very nice and much larger than the other location in town. Seemed to have a great selection of TCG, comics, Pops (even had some Chase Pops), etc. I went looking for Pokemon and they had several bulk bins and a few binders full of cards. They even had several etbs fill of 1st edition base set cards. Found several great pickups for collection and competitive; including numbers foreign (non Japanese) cards. Staff was friendly and let us kick back and sort through cards. They had many singles and sealed product as well. They have a weekly league open gaming on Fridays.

Love the place. Prices can get pretty steep, and sometimes there's screaming kids, but mostly it's the best card/hobby shop in town and I love getting my nickel cards from them.

Dragonslair is a great place to shop for tabletop gaming and accessories. The staff have great moods and provide prompt service. Their offer of a punch card to fill for a discount on larger purchases keeps me a returning customer. They also participate in Free Comic Day and host other gaming events that provide a wealth of entertainment for anyone interested in tabletop and board games.

My son is just getting into collecting Pokemon cards and we've been to dragons lair a few times. Each time the staff has been extremely kind and helpful, even giving him some pointers on collecting cards. Jay especially gave lots of good advice and was very knowledgeable! Will definitely be back.

There's no other establishment I'd rather chill at. Visited for the first time a couple of days ago, played a couple of games of MTG with a friend, and enjoyed myself while browsing the PLETHORA and variety of their stock. #1 Game Shop in Omaha

My experience is certainly... Interesting at best. I would heavily recommend that if you want to drop off miniatures to get a quick buck, use eBay, Facebook marketplace, even reddit. The prices they give just aren't good enough to warrant it. On top of that, a select few employees can be quite snarky. However it's not all negatives. If you're not looking to sell your old minis but rather looking to purchase used ones, this place and the other location have a decent selection. Staff are usually quick to respond when you need anything, though seem to be suffering from a bad case of being under-staffed. Given the current economy it's not hard to see why, though it's a shame it really seems to hit hard at both locations. All-in-all Dragons Lair is a good place to get used minis and make the occasional stop in, though it being a 30 minute drive for me tends to make me look elsewhere as sometimes I'm just not willing to make the drive when I don't think it's much worth it.

Everytime I go somewhere else for mtg card accessories they don't have what I need. When I went to the store today they were awesome. My double sleeved cedh deck wouldn't fit my game genic. The guy up front got on the floor and measured other boxes to see which one would work for me. We found one and it's perfect! The magic guy knows his stuff two. He can always tell me what they have or don't when it comes down to singles right away. Best store around omaha.

I love this place. Friendly staff, and a wide array of products. There are tables to sort through whatever you may be looking for. Pokemon and MTG cards, DND and Pathfinder books, miniatures and paints (including Warhammer), as well as board games and comic books. A great place to go, and the punch card system is amazing.

In general, I like the shop. My one annoyance is that the employees seem to stick to their own niches. This makes it hard to find good help when the person who specializes in the niche you're interested in is out that day. If that person works 1 day a week, then you're stuck with employees that don't know how to help you thoroughly. There was a time when I called about the availability of a Yu-Gi-Oh card. I was told, "It's not in the case". I went up to the store about 15 minutes later and they were correct, it wasn't in the case, but It was on the shelf behind the counter where only employees could get to. I wouldn't have known if another customer hadn't mentioned that they did indeed have 2 copies. Although, I'm sure it was unintentional, I felt slightly uncared for as a customer. It was my first time back at the store after ~7ish years. I spent about $600 that day. My advice, it should be an expectation that all employees are familiar and up to date with all of the niches the store services in order to thoroughly help customers.

They have lots and lots of comic books and role playing games. Among other things. Their prices are average, maybe a little high but worth it if you're an avid collector. They have 2 locations and both are very nice and organized. Also if you are looking to sell comic books or similar items, they do buy these things and they usually offer a decent amount depending on what you have. but I highly recommend calling to inquire before going because sometimes certain buyers are not there on certain days and it's a good idea to let them know what you have so you know if they are interested. I would definitely recommend this place to comic book collectors and people who enjoy role playing games.

Dragons lair is always fair in their pricing of the Magic the Gathering cards that I want. I always love to see the friendly faces of the employees who greet me as I walk in the door. They have a great assortment of products, but I mostly go there for MTG related products. Their expertise is also nearly second to none on their MTG products, which I realize is their job, but I enjoy it all the same. The fact that they make time for me even where they are busy is important for me as a veteran. Thank you, Dragon's Lair, for your kindness.

Large and spacious, many areas of interest for the table top gamers, comic book and memorabilia collectors. They have moved their long box system into filling cabinets. Although I am not a collector the staff was not intrusive but have been helpful in the past but my family said they were helpful before when they were trying to find titles. Also I was glad to see both staff and their shoppers wearing masks!

Amazing family owned shop with fair prices and tons of energy. My boyfriend (and Yugioh lover) was so excited when I told him that places like these exist while he was visiting from out of town! We had an amazing experience both nights that we were there with other shoppers as well as all of the employees. I've been going to Dragons Lair since it was a tiny hole off Blondo when I was 9. I would save my allowance, back then paid weekly in dimes, to buy Magic Cards. Even as a poor brown child, I never felt unwelcome there...Now as an adult, I feel good when I spend money at their location. Sometimes their staff seem stressed when a lot is on their plate, but I'd say, if you have a single bad experience, give them a pass and another try. The staff is friendly, seem to love what they do, and will go above and beyond to help you when they can.

I love the selection of nerdy greatness available at Dragon's Lair Comics. Most of the staff are really friendly people, but occasionally you will catch the owner on a bad day. Don't let his occasional grumpiness fool you, this is an awesome place to get great deals on used mini's card games, and a variety of new things to geek out with. They also hold scheduled social events and you can drop by and play games with your friends!

I have been going here for about 4 years now and I'm torn, some of the staff are super great and helpful but some of the staff isn't helpful at all. The staff members in question don't seem to want to help people but just want to stand around and shoot the breeze with other people in the store, I tend to avoid these employee's now because I know I won't get help when I ask for it. Atmosphere is just dirty and not kept up. The redeeming qualities are the staff member who will go out of their way to help you find the board game, comic or , trading card you are looking for. Even going as to special order it if you would like. I would like to see this store prosper but as of right now i don't see it.

As a fan of comics and card games I always have and will continue to reccomend dragons lair. The new location is more open and makes it feel less cramped. As it goes for all comic stores if you dont know the normal crowd of customers and aren't used to the smell some people have then be prepared or dont go in the game room.

(Tho it has some smelly patrons.) prices were fair and it looked like they had a room to rent for viewing movies.

Excellent selection of board games, comics, collectable card games (sealed product, large selection of singles and accessories), miniatures (Warhammer 40k and fantasy, Malifaux, Warmachine/hordes as well as various others). They have staff that can answer just about any question you may have regarding any of the above products. About the only possible complaint is that each employee has a specific field of interest, so if their CCG guy is out you won't be able to get too much unique information. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
