I absolutely love this place. I love to go there with my wife and pick out yarn for all of her knitting projects and it is an easy place to pick up nicknames and shop for everybody on your Christmas list. Their book section isn't extensive but it has some pretty good titles and titles and they have some specialized candies. Again, I love this place and this is one of my favorite places to go for nickname shopping.

Very nice store with a fairly decent selection. Sales staff leave a little to be desired; at first it seemed they were bothered by my asking a question when they were chatting, then getting information given started with an outright lie, followed by some vague attempts at getting me to wander around as I had been doing prior to asking for help. Once they saw I wasn't buying into their attempts to send me off, they finally relented and actually used their computer to find out if what they were saying was accurate and finally gave me good information to answer my original question. Was a bit like pulling teeth but my hope would be this was an isolated pair of staff members and not indicative of all the staff 🤞

I have a tendency to stop by here when I have time between jobs for work. The Cafe staff and the book store staff are all incredibly nice! The outside doesn't look like the nicest Barnes and noble, but when you go in the layout is much better than you would expect! Definetly a place I like coming to hang out!

Great selection of books and the like, but we were overcharged on a buy one get one 50% deal. I am assuming you had to be a paid member to qualify. With things like this, it's just better to buy books online if you can wait a few days.

Great place for book and game lovers! The Starbucks is perfect for getting a coffee or treat while sitting down to read. On a side note, it also smells amazing in there. There is a variety of books, puzzles, and games for all ages. However, the books are very pricey, only allowing you to get a few at a time. If it wasn't for the expensive price, Barnes and Noble would be 5 stars. Overall, still a great store.

Quiet, we’ll stocked and relaxed. The bookstore in general is a dying industry B&N is one of the last big names. I really don’t know how this location is still going. It’s nice though clean and quiet. Lots of old people here on a Thursday morning just hanging out. Starbucks server looked and acted like she wanted to be anywhere else on earth but the coffee was fresh. Would love to see a bookstore with big comfy chairs and game tables for the younger crowd.

I was looking for a certain book and she was able to order it for me and have it shipped to the store so I can pick it up there. She's an asset to your company! A quick update about 5 minutes after I posted this. Mary the assistant store manager called me and is going to have it shipped to my house, and she even gave me a discount to make the book cheaper for me to get and give as a gift!! Definitely visit this place and ask for one of them both wonderful girls!😉❤

Today I witnessed the most patient respectful staff at the registers. This man continously berated them and ignored their clear instructions on how he needed to call another location to check in on a paper. He disrespected, belittled them and even threatened they would lose his business and they maintained composure. It was so bad that my sister and I stepped in and told this man how ridiculous his behavior was. While shopping the staff had been helpful and respectful. Will definitely continue to come back.

It's a great bookstore. I've not eaten in the cafe so I have no opinion there. I can browse books forever and they seem to have nearly every interest covered. If you want really of the norm topics I also found another great but small bookstore.

I love this store. It's arranged nicely. The staff is helpful. Rhere is a deal depot in the left side of the store and a second deal depot in the ample kids area. They sell games, toys, magazines, unique gifts and of course books. The coffee place is clean and makes good drinks.

They have a HUGE selection of books, they also have Manga and light novels for those who've been seeking where to buy them. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you. Overall a great atmosphere where you can really enjoy finding the perfect book.

Good selection, I usually come here to get new Manga volumes and other Sci-fi books. The Movie section is great, but a bit over priced. They have a decent selection, but it is limited sometimes. One of the last bookstores in town, just too bad I live in Bellevue and it's so far away.

Clean, great customer service, well presented with great lighting. I was disappointed in the number of books available in the store. It seems there is a lot less books around (a few authors that are popular not found at all) and a lot more fluff. Children's certainly had a lot more toys then it did 10 years ago.

As always, I came here expecting to spend money, but still spent even more. 😂 They have such a vast collection of Manga, Music as well as the classics from Jane Austen & Edgar Allan Poe. This is always a place I need to stop by when I finally get close enough to one. The employees here are also so relaxed, yet very helpful. When inquiring about a couple of items, they not only were able to direct me to where they normally are (they were completely out of them), but also explained when they usually came in (one of my items is a Christmas only ik stock). Always a pleasure.

I asked a worker for help and she took me to non ficiton new releases. When it still wasn't there she went to the back and found it in box. Really am grateful for that

Enjoyed my time there with my best friend and her nieces. For those that are there for Starbucks, yes there are open and seating is available and marked where you can and can't sit due to what is happening. But you have a 30 minute limit to enjoy your drink. Favorite area is the blind date with books wrapped for a fun read. Located right in the front upon entering.

Great place to find the next great novel! The staff can always assist for those hard to find books. Grab a book and a cup of coffee, ahh! Love being able to browse for new reads plus they carry great gifts for those hard to buy for. So much better in person to visit and plan on shopping for an hour or 2. I hope we can keep this great bookstore around for years to come! Always a nice escape!

I could stay here all day every day if I could. It was such a relaxing environment that is taking proper covid precautions with plexiglass barriers for cashiers and requires masks. Bathrooms were very clean. Book selection was high with reading material for children all the way to adults. I would rate 5 stars, but selections for different book series, both novels and Manga, tended to be incomplete. Otherwise, it is a highly recommended experience. Books are also reasonably priced.

Absolutely love B&N. They are pricey compared to say BooksForLess off Center, but they have so much to offer here, and love being a member and saving even more. Fun games and other specialty items, as well as great selection of books. Would be nice if they price matched online, but won't dock this location for a corporate policy. I have been going to Barnes and Noble Oakview for at least 25 years and I have never had a bad experience here. To begin with, they are one of the last few book stores in Omaha. Their other locations have gone and other sellers are closing one by one. However, they always stock a great supply of books and magazines. They have a nice seating area where you can have drinks and pastries while you read. And, there are other seating areas outside of that area too if you want more peace and quiet. If you purchase a lot of books then it might also benefit you to get the Barnes and Noble card. I have had for years and have always enjoyed it. It gives you discounts on books so if you big purchase habit it will benefit you. Overall, I will continue to return until they close eventually.

This place is down to earth book store with a nice coffee shop. Plenty of spots to sit, read, and relax with a area for kids to play and learn. It does get busy on occasion but not huge crowds and the books/items might get expensive but over all a great place to read and shop at.

Barnes and noble is a unique store, especially this location. There is something about walking in and smelling the coffee and books that brings me back. I always loved coming here for a drink and browsing through the books and magazines. I like that it's free standing and not attached to the mall, it makes it a bit cozier. I hope this location never changes!

So many things have changed in book stores! I was really excited to find out this store sells Gunpla, but the section was very very small. Not a big problem really, but would love to it get more room. The selection of mangas is amazing and vast. Many different series and types. The staff at the coffee shop inside were nice and very pleasant to talk with. B&N staff were always polite and making sure help was available to find what people where looking for. my wife and I took a trip to Barnes and Noble the other night. They have an endless selection of books. because what you cant find in their store they are more than willing to locate it for you and either get it shipped to the store or to your home. the employees are always very nice and super helpful when it comes to any questions you may have. With all of that there is also a kids area for parents and a Starbucks for that coffee fiend. They also have a small assortment of board games and other neat trinkets. All in all I think this is one of my favorite book stores in omaha!

I was a huge fan of Border’s before it closed, it was my favorite. So many places to sit and browse, soothing atmosphere, the best. Barnes and Noble may not be Border’s, but I still love it. Not as many places to sit so I sit on the floor, but when you’re surrounded by books, nothing can be wrong.

I left with a couple of large scale maps. Google is Handy, but it doesn't replace a large laminated map. I also verified I could readily acquire key planning references. This place has done well during the retail recession, they have added games and other Nicky-Nack things to entice sales so even if you aren't in the market for a new book, there are hundreds of games and things to choose from. Plus there's a Starbucks inside. My wife and I go weekly, she does work and I read magazines and we both get coffee. It's a nice place to hang out

Like other Barnes & Noble stores it is cozy well organized and inviting. The selection is great and they will most likely have your title or will gladly get it to you. However the prices are not on par to other sites like Ebay or Amazon a good example some books are new for 39.99 or 49.99 yet on Amazon they will be still wrapped in plastic and new for a half or a fraction of the price :/

While looking for a set of books the website said they had in stock, I called to have them held at the desk. Upon arrival, the book they set aside was not the set we talked about nor was it even by the same author. Drove almost 45 min to get there and find out they did not carry the set or books at all.

I've not often had workers ask if I'd like assistance, but I often prefer to look through the books myself anyhow. When asked, the staff have been knowledgeable and very helpful. There's a wide selection of books and assorted media. The yearly Get Pop Cultured event is a fun way of involving the community with all sorts of different products, giveaways, special events (e.g. signings, costume contests), and the like. The café is a great place to read a book or meet up with someone in a fairly quiet environment.

This book store is FUN! Because books are FUN! Chairs are provided so you can sit and read. They have a nice language section with plenty of Latin. It's a very relaxing environment. But the restrooms are unkept and dirty. And often smell bad. People that go there have been hacker's and once when I bought a brand new computer a hacker sat across from me and put a powerful virus on it. He laughed at me and I left. I had to return my computer bc of this hacker. Sometimes I go there and people r often loud and smell bad. Kids run around the store unchecked and unmonitored. Kid's scream and holar about. The cafe baristas r Nice and the customer service isn't always great. The staff often don't help in any great way. It is a nice place but bookstores r for Reading and relaxing. Not for loud crude people and uncontrolled kid's. I'm ethnic and I'm often not treated well bc that store is in a predominately white area.

Love it. (Note, I might have just missed them while looking around) I would like a wider selection of comics, however. And not just DC or Marvel comics. It'd be nice to have a wider range of new, creative stories. Otherwise, it's my favorite bookstore.

One of the few Brick & Mortar bookstores left. Books, records, games, magazines and a coffee shop. Cozy seats for those who want to sit and read. The store is generally well organized, anyone looking for a specific book should have no trouble finding it. There is also a customer service counter centrally located with knowledgable staff that can help you find a book. If it isn't in stock, they can order it for you. My only contention us they've done away with promoting their line of Nook e-readers. The product stands up well against the Amazon product, without being as closely tied to the 'universe'.

Barnes & Noble had a really good atmosphere you could tell when you walk in that you were surrounded by books and there was a sense of security and you could just tell that you were being surrounded by Book Lovers like you if you happen to love books as much as I do what was also nice is they have a cafe where you can order something they have croissants and cheese cakes and then drinks and then you can sit down at the table and just read a book and I think that is at least for me a really really nice thing. They also had all of their books sorted into categories so their kids section had lots of kids books and it had dinner at fun things to keep the kids entertained if the parents wanted to do something and then they organized it by teen fiction young adult and then adult and in history, science, and they had math science reading in history books that you could work in and also school books that could be used for help the staff was also really nice and the cash registers went really fast.
