Rabata is a tranquil space of higher learning, with a wonderful bookstore, stocked with various books thoughtfully picked out to support muslim women authors, artists, scholars and writers. I wanted to buy everything!! A must stop, if your in the area!

One of my favorite small businesses!!! This bookstore has so much character from the thoughtful displays, the vintage furniture, and the kind staff. I love the collection of books and gifts and how they are organized. It reminds me of how book stores used to be…you can grab a book and sit on a couch to browse it. You’re sure to find some gems that you can’t find anywhere else!

I found 3 unique titles which I have not seen elsewhere - this led me to understand the book selection is extremely well curated. The space is large, warm and inviting, I highly recommend a visit.

Amazing and most beautiful space. You are greeted with a welcome bench and flowers and such friendly staff. You feel great peace and comfort as you walk around the wonderful collection of books displayed. The centre has facilities for classrooms and a space for events. Really enjoyed visiting and looking forward to visiting again.

While bookstores seem to be a dying breed, this one does well and has a great options of various books - especially for female empowerment. You can find religious Islamic books alongside secular regular books to some variety of cookbooks. They also have small gifts like Soy candles and bookmarks. Definitely recommend stopping in and supporting.

Women-oriented and muslim-oriented, very cool place to browse. They have a meeting space, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I bought s couple books on historic women, and have been meaning to go back for two books on history from a middle eastern perspective that I saw there. Very well stocked and organized Muslim history and culture section, but also small shelves dedicated to gardening, poetry, and used books.

I ordered a set of 2 books to be delivered to London, UK.
I received the books today and am very pleased. They were in fantastic condition, with no damage to the books despite them travelling such a long distance and the order arrived within a reasonable time frame.
Thank you!

The most inviting and peaceful bookstore I’ve been to. Their collection of social justice and beautiful Islamic books could keep me curled up on the sofa reading for hours. I wish I could live here!
