My favorite bookstore in all of Minnesota. Everyone in my extended family has been going here for years! They have such excellent selection in-store. I’ve found everything here: the perfect children’s book for a birthday gift, an exciting new fantasy book, a new poetry collection, and even an old French play by Beaumarchais owned by someone in St. Paul in the 60s. Their staff is so wonderful that I order all of my online purchases from them, too. But the store itself is a can’t-miss. It’s one of the loveliest, coziest places around. Oh, and the art/gift selection is superb, too. I bought a dainty pair of blue and pink earrings from here 10 years ago. I still get compliments on them.

Despite frequently visiting Park Rapids, I hadn't been to Beagle and Wolf until this winter. If you're a bookworm, this place is a must visit when you're in the area. Their store is cozy and welcoming from the second you walk in. I had ordered a book for pick up in store and decided to have it shipped to my home after I submitted my order. I'm sure this was a pain to deal with, but if it was they didn't show it and they were very helpful in getting it sent to me. They had to order my book from a different supplier than usual so it took about two weeks to get to me (which really, I didn't mind!) For my trouble, they sent me a complimentary book. I was so impressed with their customer service and touched by their thoughtfulness. Although I don't live in the area, I'll be ordering my books from them from now on! Thanks Beagle and Wolf!

I love this little gem. I always like to rummage around and see what treasures I can uncover. I found a great little book about bicycling the last time I was there. Before then it was a book on music theory. Great selection of unique children's books and a good representation of Minnesota authors. Make sure to check out Beagle Books when you're in town.

Other than purchasing several amazing books discovered along with Waldo in the "Where's Waldo" hunt my 8 and 11-year old granddaughters partook in last week...collecting all 25 stamps...they also won the drawing for the hunt! The bookstore is cozy...amazing selection of books for all ages and interests!!!

Beagle and Wolf books is my favorite bookstore in the whole area including Fargo. I love the cozy store and the great selection of books both new and used. I like the wall of popular books, the new book section, and the emphasis on regional authors. They have a fabulous children's and young adult area that my daughter loves. There's also a great coffee shop next door where you can relax with a beverage and start reading your new books. In response to the review about rudeness, I've never experienced anything like that in my many times in this store. Our whole family loves this book store.
