This is a fun book store, and I'm impressed that Two Harbors has a store that has current books as well as used books. It was a little difficult to know where the different genres were located. There were some signs, but not on every section. The arrangements of the books were very interesting and unique. I will stop in again when I'm in that area. The clerks were very helpful and gracious. I was ASTOUNDED by this bookstore! I’m a native Minnesotan who moved down to Chicago, and did not expect to find a store up here that eclipses the bookstores in the Windy City. This is largely in part due to the thoughtfulness and care the owners put into the books they sell: their new books are well-chosen, reflecting a keen eye to the big movers and shakers in contemporary lit, while their used books are in excellent condition and are expansive, from childrens books and thrillers for casual readers to an impressive fiction section. I got a glimpse of the back room and felt like I was in heaven - if you name it, they probably have it! In short: these people love books, are extremely friendly and helpful, and they’ve built one of the best bookstores I’ve seen in Minnesota yet! I’ll be back every time I visit!

What an experience! Awesome bookstore. A fabulous Family business to support. I was looking for a book I had seen at another bookstore yet didn’t purchase. I didn’t know the author or title. Told them what it was about and that the author was from California. Mom and daughter Kelly went to the computer and searched. They found it! Will order and ship to me. Wow! I spent at least two hours there! Between talking with Randy and browsing all the books and crafts there. I had a wonderful time! He was more than happy to help me find what I wanted and even what I didn't know I wanted! He was fun to talk to and really has a passion for books. I recommend this store as a must see when in Two Harbors!

Wonderful store. Their book selection is top notch & the store has a very comfortable feel. The owners are very helpful & kind people. I can spend two hours looking around & not get bored or told to leave. They have a genuine appreciation for books & literature, unlike Amazon, Sweet Peas has soul! I go for the books but they also have some CDs, movies, & art/crafts as well. They do buy/sell/trade, another cool thing unlike Amazon. Overall a great store run by good people, highly recommend going there for any avid reader like myself.

This is one of my favorite stores. The owners clearly love books. In addition to a selection of new releases, they have a great collection of used books. If you're looking for something in particular, the owner can often locate it on the shelves or in the back room. A variety of local art and crafts is also for sale. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and there is always interesting conversation to be had. It's always worth a stop.

Clean, well-lit, impeccably organized. A fantastic used book shop which does not have the lowest prices, but more than makes up for it with friendly and knowledgeable staff and a delightful atmosphere. Complete series are available for many authors. Further, unique jewelry, art and pottery are featured.

We came to this bookstore for a Valentine's Day date and had a wonderful time chatting with the owner. He is generous, and took genuine interest in the books we had been reading lately. The store has a great selection, including both new books and a lovely organized section of used books, including classics. I've never seen so many titles I wanted to read in a used book section. They also had some local crafts for sale. I will definitely be coming back!

Many of the reviews of Sweet Pea's are from traveler's. This is a great bookstore. I am a local and just wanted to say that yesterday I was able to find Christmas gifts for most of my family at this store that amounted to a sale of over $250.00 to a local business. With the current stresses on business, this was satisfying for me. The owner is very accommodating and cares. He even gave me some free books for myself when he realized I had not picked a book out for me (he has been equally generous with my kids) and although this is not expected, it is a kind touch during difficult times.

My husband and I stopped in while we were visiting Two Harbors, and walked out with a huge stack of books. The owner was so helpful and engaging, and searched for a first edition to complete a set for my son. Then, when he found that I like a specific author, he grabbed a signed copy of one of her books for my collection. Best of all, I spent way less than I expected, and got to support a local bookstore- which is something I am always happy to do. All in all a great experience!

We stopped in just to check it out and found a fantastic experience. Lots of sets of books. Some old, some new. Everyone in the family found a gem or two. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He even showed us his stack of books he was organizing for the floor. The whole shop was very organized. We enjoyed our time there. Stop in. My mom and I visited just yesterday. There are SO MANY books to chose from, both old and new, plus it's cool to see locally made art and crafts for sale as well! Staff was friendly and pleasant to talk to, I'd probably have to stop in here again next time I'm in the area.

The owner is a great guy to talk to and is a literary wealth of information. I have been back numerous times to buy books and greeting cards . I allways have a great experience !

We love this place and now make it part of our regular experience when visiting the North Shore. My wife found this place and both of us feel it's so fun to explore its many arts, crafts and gifts. I love their assortment of books and post cards. You are guaranteed to find something unique to Minnesota's North Shore when you visit no matter the time of year. We have visited both winter and summer months - the husband/wife independent owners are very willing to assist and always have something new to find.

This place also doubles as a bookstore and offers hundreds of gently used books you can pick up to read on a rainy day. The owners are always friendly and kind, quick to help you in any way. This store is a great place to pick up a gifts and souvenirs.

Sweet Peas is such a fun and unique store. They have a gift shop in the front and craft booths in the back so there is such a wide variety of items being sold. I love the soap and essential oil rollers! They also have one of the best book selections I have seen. The owners are super nice and friendly.

I see other bad reviews on here and I’m surprised because I’ve been in this store a number of times and it’s always been wonderful. This place is a must stop when you're in Two Harbors! I've been going here every year we are in the area for at least 8 years. They've got a great selection of books and also lots of little things locally made that could be nice gifts or even something for yourself! It's worth at least checking out and the drive from Duluth if you are in the area.

My wife and I randomly came across this store in Two Harbors. The owners of the store are amazing! It appears that the store actually sells several people's items in different sections of the place. You can find some of the best deals on the north shore on souvenirs and more. If there is one place you will stop for gifts on your Lake Superior trip, make it Sweet Peas!

The owners Randy and Katie are wonderful people, they bring minnesota nice to a higher level and make you feel like family. They are very knowledgeable of what they have in the store and can bring you to any book you may want if they have it as well, and can tell you all about the Northshore . There shop is always spotless. Go there and get all your gifts. Sweet Peas is a true asset to the Two Harbors area.
