Swaroop KumarCalm atmosphere, perfect place to browse for books. They don't necessarily shelves all the books of a given series, but I'm sure they can acquire it if asked. Compared to Amazon, I'd say that the books are a bit overpriced for similar bindings. However, the staff is well versed and knowledgeable about their collection, and one wouldn't find that online. And they don't bother you eith the usual - Can I help you, which I like because browsing books is a joy in itself.
Jack ZacherBoswell Book Company is an absolutely excellent independent bookstore. They have a huge variety of books, a cozy store, and all of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The store also has events with authors quite often. Boswell is also incredibly friendly to all people, highlighting authors from the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. I couldn't recommend a better bookstore that provides such a great atmosphere, such friendly staff, and such a broad selection. I'd also recommend stopping by the Stone Creek Coffee down the street!

Mollie LundI love Boswell. I used to live nearby and met my now fiancé here for our first date. The book selection is magnificent and the vibes are exceptional. Quaint, sweet and one of my favorite bookstores in the whole country due to its significance to me and who could forget the happiness this place brings?

But then I learned that books are a loss leader item for Amazon, used to retain business loyalty and undermine and outcompete local and independent bookstores. I decided to cut back on how often I buy books, but when I do, to buy from Boswell. It is my favorite bookstore. I love the cozy vibe in here. The employees are always so considerate and helpful. I love the used book section, the assortment of journals, boxed cards, and magazines. I love the holiday gift & ornament options. This year, we bought book lights for Christmas and they are wonderful. I can’t recommend Boswell enough.

roz tornatorei really like boswell books and support them as i love buying books. however, today, their return policy made me really grumpy. i was back with a used book within an hour at most 10 min. over. i bought the book not remembering i had read it previously. they would not make an exchange even though i was going to buy a book that was more money. i understand return policies, i don't understand inflexibility.

Jeremy HowardBoswell Book Company was a very nice book store. We drove over 3 hours tonight just so we could see Veronica Roth and purchase her new book. If they have her back again, we will definitely be there! I hope to return someday when I finish my own books. This book store is definitely worth checking out! Lots of options and everything is in great condition. If we lived in Milwaukee, this would be our usual stop. The staff was very nice and fun to spend time around. The owner was also really great. Check it out if you get a chance.
