Fabulous MDB

Nice and quiet. It's easy to browse here for hours. The only drawback I've experienced is staff is reluctant to give a small adjustment to the price of a book if there is visible damage (i.e to the spine etc) so be aware that your request may fall on deaf ears.

Was able to locate a very obscure title. Which previously I had only located online but I wanted a hard copy and Books-A-Million had it! I also purchased several kids books that I thought were very interesting. I was pleased with my visit

The staff here is awesome and friendly. The one thing I do not like about BAMs business model is that sometimes books online and the staff cannot update the price in store. Not the employees fault

I have often wondered how this store stays in business. I used to work at Borders Books and Media Play ( I think still owner of Books a Million). But I figured out that they are a great one stop shop for holiday shopping. Lots of discounted books, tons of magazines, and their best feature: sideline items which are the toys, collectibles, games, and stationery.

This is more of a gift shop than a bookstore. Nothing wrong with that. It's the place to go if you are into anime, best selling titles and fan base novelties. Great place to buy some unique toy for a kiddo in your life.

If I ever considered getting a second home, it would probably be at Books A Million. As someone who needs the feel of paper books, having a place like this so close is just amazing and they have a wide range of genres like classical, newer and legacy fiction, biographies, nonfiction, and much more. You'd have to visit for yourself to see what literature draws you in. And they have some really fun pop-culture knickknacks, too.

I love coming here for books because it's a nice book store with a little coffee shop, good deals on books, and lots of pop culture goodies there. Every employee I've ran into is nice. Yall need to watch out for stuff being improperly marked price wise though. Tired of thinking there's a sweet deal on something and it's not because kids or other adults think slapping a discount tag on it from another item will magically discount it. Makes for an annoying day at checkout.

I used to work at BAM when I lived in Texas & they had no Northern locations at the time...nice to see that the friendliness and cleanliness hasn't changed. Now just add a Joe Muggs (or Biggby, if Joe's isn't in business anymore) and it'll be perfect!

A favorite bookseller. They carry wide selections of books and magazines. Newer titles plus classics. Shelves are well organized and well presented. Good lighting and space to stand in aisles while perusing interesting titles. If you enjoy books, you must visit this store.

I always love going to this book store and finding new things. They've done a lot of changes to the way their store is organized and it's great. The only thing is that I wish they either had a sign that their Joe Muggs was closed or that no one is there. It would be nice to not stand there for 6 minutes, waiting for no one. Only complaint.

They have some bargain books but most are sold at retail price and not much is on sale. However they do have a wide variety of trinkets, puzzles, and gift items, as well as a little coffee shop. Very nice atmosphere.

Absolutely my favorite bookstore! Every time a book is not available on on visit, it there my next visit. I've never had an issue with having an employee look up a book, great place to read and buy novelty items both book and movie related.

Bathrooms in this store are a thing of nightmares. Clearance/used section has a good variety. You can tell staff is pressured to sell their membership...made the checkout process uncomfortable.

Very good selection in a wide array of things to choose from. Good way to spend a rainy day with the kids and let them pick out a few things to enhance their reading abilities. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in locating items. A bit on the pricey side because most Publications are at the full sticker price.

It's a book store. Bootleg Barnes and Noble. The lady running the coffee place was pleasant but slower than I thought was possible... Stood waiting as the sole apparent customer while she made a drink for a lady sitting nearby. I literally developed tree DNA and started growing roots into the floor. Then I waited more. Then I, now a treeant, walked away to find what once was my teenage son in the young adult section only to find him in the philosophy section, now a fully grown man, reading "the art of war" as recommended reading for his business degree program at University. We returned to the coffee place to find it abandoned. We then left... Half out of frustration and half due to an ominous feeling caused by the sudden realization that all the books were made of paper... Which are made from trees.... Which I now am...

To be fair I have always enjoyed Books-A-Million ever since childhood, but I went back recently and it was still as I recall and the staff was great. Only reason for a four star is the layout of the store was slight confusing for me as they had games and toys all around the store rather than a more transparent method of organization.

One of my favorite bookstore chains since 1997. Things have changed over the years: more children and anime/manga merchandise, smaller music and movie items section, and fewer stores in all. But the same great selection of books and Joe Muggs coffee are still around. There are areas to just sit and browse for hours on end. Also, become a member and get a 10% in-store discount too. Highly recommended .

Book selection definitely was good but big issue is the lay out of the store....very odd how the sections were laid out and put. Kids section very disappointing, no chairs or homey feel that Barnes & Noble have. But on the other they did have more book options then other book stores do

Staff wasn't very attentive and there were few customers. They have t-shirts, Disney & Funko collectibles and their staple of books. Overall a good location perhaps the staff was having an off day. (4.5)

The place is huge. Its great. I didnt even get halfway through and found so many cool things. Ended up spending more money then i thought i was going to spend, but it all was well worth it. Speed a signed copy of the newest WoW book and some other great things. Will shop again.
