Personally, I'm not a table top gamer, but I know a good diverse selection when I see it. Ig they may not have everything, but they have a wide selection. The gaming area is large enough to accommodate many players. I was pulled in by the puzzles in the window. They have an excellent puzzle selection.

I love this place. They have a great selection if you like board games. My major complaint is about their pokemon selection. The prices they offer for cards are not market consistent and it doesn't seem like they want to give customers good deals, they makes me value the store less because they value me less.

This was my first time visiting the store and I will absolutely be back! The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable about all things Magic the Gathering and was helpful when I had silly questions! I highly recommend this game store and I look forward for many more visits in the future!

There is an accessible entrance. The staff is super friendly and will show you the way! The shop has a pretty cool variety of manga and comics. Def worth a pit stop for the traveling nerd.

There are so many types of board and card games here. There's even a back area where you and your friends can reserve a spot to play your game. Overall very cool place and I'll be back to get more games.

We visited out of town during a convention and decided to check this place out. It's a pretty awesome game and hobby shop all around. I was a bit surprised by some of the selections of model kits they had, even though at the time of visit it was a pretty small pool to choose from. Card game choices were also fairly good too. My only complaint about this place, and this isn't exactly at the fault of the establishment, is that parking is an absolute pain. We came by at opening and even then everything was packed to the brim likely due to the other businesses and homes around there. I'm sure the locals have ways of getting here without dealing with parking, but I can't imagine going to weekly TCG meet ups here unless there's some mode of public transportation or ride share. Either way, would come by here again!

Good Games is an exciting new addition to table top Gaming in Chicago. They have fair prices and a huge selection. You can find every niche including miniatures, collectible card games, puzzles, and board games! The game floor has tons of space and there are events every night. The staff is very courteous as well.

Im visiting Chicago and was excited to see a small shop like this as back in my home town in Texas I don't see stores like this.The store is full of various games and recommendations from the employees on certain ones saying why. It was a great store I just wish my suitcase was bigger.

Awesome store! I was feeling like trying out a new board game but didn't know where to start. There are store recommendations put up all around the store, and the games are grouped kind of by interest, so it's easy to find your section. The staff is super knowledgeable and kind, they let me browse but answered my questions! I'll be back.

Wide selection with some items I haven't seen many other places. Worth a stop in but you have to know what you're looking for. Not sure if staff was just overwhelmed with the event being held or they are really just that quiet but help was extremely limited.

In town for vacation and the family thought it would be amazing to find a game store. We had plans to get a board game to play at our rented for the week apartment to pass some of the time. The store was well kept, well stocked, and inviting. The biggest praise I want to give though is to the staff. We had a specific need and their knowledge of the products and the willingness to help above and beyond, helped us find exactly what we wanted. Excellence personified.

Very good, clean store with a lot of weekly events. I've mainly come for Tuesday MTG drafts and I'm always impressed with the turnout - we've had 3 drafts each time I was there. They payout is generous as well. They have a good stock of board games as well as some puzzles and toys, additionally they have stock for traditional tabletop RPGs such as rulebook and figures. Overall I'm very happy with this store and am willing to drive out of my way to visit.

Vacationed in Chicago and wanted to take my girlfriend to a game store looking for Pokemon cards (our fav!) Talked to Bill who was super nice and friendly and recommended so many games i couldnt decide on which one! Ended up buying one and had a great time. Bill deserves a raise!

Nice shop with good variety of games, art things, collectors cards, kites, and puzzles! Games are expensive if you don't know what to expect, but they're all unique and quality, probably worth the price. We bought a puzzle that was also a game and a game with cute animals on it! Not a very professional description, but we have yet to play it so I'm not sure how else to describe it. Anyway, worth a stop if you're into games and fun little shops!

Very helpful staff here located near some other small bakery shops which is a great area to be in. The games selection is not too large but they have enough for the average board game enthusiast. They've got a "lounge" area where you can sit and play. This area isn't the most aesthetically pleasing but if you're just there to hang out it's fine.

Love this store. Good selection of products, snacks, and they have a very helpful and welcoming staff. Busy with weekly events, too. This is not a downside and has *never* stopped us from going, but in the dead of winter the store can get chilly/drafty. If you get cold easily (like I do) I recommend an extra layer or two. I can't imagine how tough it would be to keep a store warm in subzero temps!

My friends from work and i didn't have anywhere to properly play Dungeons and Dragons and i met someone online who showed us this place. They have a great table top game selection and do Pokèmon and Magic the Gathering stuff. The backroom is large and full of tables which are free to use for anyone who just walks in. It's a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are very polite and professional and very helpful if you need it. It's a very good location, there's plenty of other shops nearby, including good food places. The ONLY complaint i have is the lack of parking, but that wasn't enough to keep me from giving 5 stars! I really enjoy this place and i intend to continue going there as long as i can!

This store is super friendly! Two aspects of this store sold it to me: 1) there's a wide open back area for playing whatever you'd like! And 2) i went in to buy a bag of skittles and the cashier gave me a dime, 10/10 will enjoy again

Great place to play board games with your friends! They have about 4 dozens of board games that you can borrow for free to play there, plus a giant collection that you can buy. Not too crowded when we went (Sunday afternoon).

Cards are everywhere, customer service is not. I’ve only met Chuck and Lauren there but they are both on top of their game when it comes to both knowledge of the games, and how they treat people. I’ve enjoyed every interaction I’ve had there and their personal kindness to people seems to tend to keep drawing back the other nice people who play. It’s a great environment, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The staff especially Lauren are very friendly and knowledgeable about their Games and MTG. Most of them have in depth experience with Mtg and or are Judges, being very enjoyable get their perspective on the game state among other news. It's been refreshing breath of air to still have more stores in Chicago that fire off modern tournaments events consistently. I recommend the store to any who are in the Logan Square area.

If you're looking for another game for family night or looking for some competitive ccg, lcg, miniatures, or rpg Good Games is your local place to be. Prices are fair, there are frequent buyer discounts, and they do carry some gaming accessories that are hard to find even in Chicago. Update: Gundam Models, Warhammer 40k, RPG books / accessories, and Board Games for simple to pick up along with hot board games like Wingspan and Oath

I went on a Saturday for a Pokemon League Challenge; the space is very nice, can fit about 60 players maybe? There are playmats on the tables already so no need to bring a playmat, with some chargers. Pairings are posted on the TV so you don't have to crowd around the posting. Props to Matt for running an efficient tournament!
