I have been going to Bob's for years. Always has a fresh selection of new and back issues. Very few times do I o there and not find a great book, in all price ranges. His prices are on point and very competative. He is fairly quiet, but if you have a question, he has the answer. Highly reccomend Bob's Comics to collectors and beginners alike.

This is a old school comic shop!! If you go there you'll definitely find something and if not then you didn't want a comic. Had tons of books to look through not only in the back bins but walls full of mint old school books nicely priced. Some were even signed! Even if you have to drive from out of town Bob's is worth checking out.

Definitely the best comic store to go to. It has a perfect blend of really old and brand new and everything between. You have a superb variety of comics and other collectibles that all range in condition. Bob is a really nice guy who is fair and cares about what he does!

I've never been to a better comic shop than Bob's. His new book selection is limited, but that's ok because his back issue selection is amazing. Bob isn't going "wow" you with overbearing customer service, but if you need help or have a question, he's more than happy to help. All his books are priced, so there's no eBay checking at the cash register. If you're looking for a no nonsense, no frills, old school comic shop, this is the one. Great selection, competitive pricing, and an owner who knows his stuff.

Bob's Comics is a great place to find what your looking for. He has a great selection of back issues and gets all the latest and greatest. The best thing about the store is the overall organization and layout. It makes it easy to find what you are looking for and the owner is very nice and easy going. Recommend.

Nice little shop with a huge inventory for DC and Marvel fans. Organized, easy to search inventory and a lot of deals to be found with $1 boxes and Arch / Story combos. If you are looking for Indie publishers you won't find them (I saw a few BOOM issues but that's it). If you need to find that elusive DC and Marvel issue, you can probably get it here.

Bob's has been around for ever. Know his original partner pretty well. Haven't been to the shop in a long time despite living pretty close. Guess he didn't sell much in the way of figures and toys. All he had are comics. Nothing BUT comics. But that is a good thing. He does have a kids section. Everything is well organized compared to my old favorite haunt (where I did once have a pull list). And found an older comic for just $1 and went ahead a picked it up for me and my son. Don't come here looking for anime or manga. He really doesn't have it, but if you're looking for comics from the golden age, silver age and current you're in for a treat... just hope Bob is having a good day when you enter! Ha ha! He's an ok guy just can be a little moody at times and he knows his comics! Just don't go expecting cards, collectibles or much like that...

Great little store. Found Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #s 16 and 23. They were done by Mark Martin, whom I grew up with. I bought #22 for Mark about a month ago. He didn't have that one. Thanks Bob.

..Bob's comics is one of the last old school comics shop left, it has new, old, and the rare. Bob has excellent knowledge of the Golden Age to the present day comics. Bob's has everything from Hardcovers, and soft covers, to original editions, a very enjoyable friendly comic shop, I highly recommend!

I have been a client for 25 plus years. When you enter this old school shop it will take you back to your childhood. Bob is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He has always made me feel at home. Largest back stock that I know of. If you can't find it at Bob's more than likely it's not around here. Don't let that deter you though Bob , can track just about any book you want down. So if your in the area stop in and check it out.

I have been buying comics from Bob for more than 20 years. Extremely knowledgeable of both DC and Marvel as well as all of the others. Always has a huge collection of Silver and Golden Age books from scrappy 2's to CGC 9.8's. If you are a beginner or have like me been buying for many years he will be able to help you find whatever you need.

Bob is a 30 + year xpert in his trade. Shop is a treasure trove of back issues of everything you could ask or hope for. Bob is an honest vendor who prices his items fairly because he know if you treat people right, they will come back. in his shop, I have seen, held or drooled over every KEY ISSUE, 1st Appearance, Variant copy you can think of. Avengers 1 , Xmen 1 , Hulk 1 , Journey into Mystery 83 , Spiderman 1 ,Amazing Fantasy 15 , 1st Flash, 1st Green Lantern, Justice League 1 , Superman single digit golden age comics... I could g on and on but I think you get the picture.. Bob has it, has had it and can get it . Best kept comic secret in Alabama !
