The prices are high but the shop is well categorized. They have a great selection of Georgia Tech T-shirts, hoodies and glasses. The location is very ideal inside the midtown. Whenever you get tired of shopping in this big store, you can get hot or cold beverages inside. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my time at B&N Atlanta, and bought a couple of Star Wars books (the Mandalorian collection)- since they have a really cool variety of Sci-Fi and sports theme based literature. Let's say the bookshop is OK, in comparison to the one on 5th Avenue in NYC. The staff are very kind and helpful, but since this is a 2 floor bookstore, you will sometimes have a small adventure to find them. There's a Starbucks caffe bar and a Georgia Tech sportshop inside the B&N store, which is convenient. All in all, I was happy to have been and shopped there.

I enjoyed browsing this beautiful store. They have a large selection of clothing, toys, caps, books, electronics, school supplies, groceries, etc. I just wish they had a bigger selection of books. FYI, they do not accept cash at the register.

All things Georgia Tech, and a good coffee shop. We go here looking for our Tech gear, prior to game day, nice selection of shirts, and polos. Not as impressed with the current hat selections, maybe my age gap. Others may like. Picked up some nice etched wine glasses. Plenty of items to choose from. And lots of books upstairs.

I always need to visit here when in America, I love Waterstones in Belfast, I found out that they are the parent company. I thought there was something familiar. The magazine section is amazing and a huge range of books covering all prices. Games and stationary if you want something special.

Not your normal B&N as it doubles as the campus bookstore, so it's book selection is smaller, but it has a great selection of GT merch along with an Apple store. I would recommend walking a block to go to a dedicated Starbucks though. The internal one here is okay, much like I find most Starbucks in B&N's tend to be.

I know this place has a small selection of books but, for what I found was great, Edgar Allen Poe, Dracula, Frankenstein, Interview with the Vampire, yes please! The staff was friendly and patient (A must for me) and so helpful. Conveniently having a Starbucks is added bonus points.

Place is very nice and big. Three story's. Lots of Georgia Tech stuff for all kinds of fans and students needs. A little pricey, but worth a Hoodie or Hat. Also you get your Georgia Tech IDs made on second floor. Parking is across the street, you will have to use the app to use code for parking to pay. They have loads of stuff, and a Starbucks too.

As a GT alumni, I used the B&N for years as a student and it has always been top notch. Recently stopped by to pick up a car sticker for my car and bought a hat. Love them both. My wife, who is not an alumni, but a lover of Coffee mugs had to get a coffee mug because they had great options. 😅 Always a go to for GT swag. Always makes me feel at home.

Very nice staff and a convenient location. Lots of really cool things inside such as a large hanging competitive row boat. Great selection of merchandise since the store is rather large and it's a one-stop-shop for any school supplies you may be needing before classes start.

This Barnes and Noble is is always clean and well-maintained. It's more of an apparel store than a bookstore to be honest - the selection is huge! There are traditional and trendy options for all ages. Browsing the clearance section upstairs is always a good idea for lower prices. I wouldn't recommend shopping for generic notebooks, pencils, folders, etc. there because the prices are much higher than what you would find at a Staples, OfficeMax, or Target.

Lots of Georgia Tech merchandise (clothes, cups, etc.). A small book section. A tech are for buying new laptops. An area with limited dorm supplies. An area for getting a Georgia tech student id. To be honest, some of the items are kinda expensive for ok quality, I recommend checking the bookstore app for discounts if you are a student!

Great selection of Georgia Tech clothing and attire. The Adidas line of clothing is amazing this year. They force you to wear a mask. They have also closed all the bathrooms (they were even closed on gameday Sept 19 2020). Prices are very high on clothing - be prepared to spend $80-$120 for most men's shirts and $40 for hats.

The place to go for all things Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. A wide variety of branded clothing and souvenirs just a short walk from the main campus. It includes a Starbucks coffee shop in case you need caffeine.

There's nothing wrong with the upkeep of this B&N. Everything is clean and the workers are nice. My main issue is with what they sell and what prices they sell at. This Barnes and Noble is more an overpriced apparel store than bookstore. They also sell school supplies at 3 to 5 times the normal retail price. The actual book portion of the store is tiny. I would have loved a bookstore near campus but this ain't it.

What can I say, it’s the Georgia Tech bookstore! Get all your collage related gear here. It also serves as a regular bookstore and has a Starbucks attached to it that you can enter from a separate entrance. I love shopping here as I no longer live in Atlanta. The lower section contains regular books you’d find in a normal Barnes and noble and the clothing and apple area for the college. The upper area contains the textbooks and school supplies. It’s very clean and not too busy.

The staff was great. Important to note this store is only partially a bookstore, it is primarily a Georgia Tech store of t-shirts, novelties, etc. I was expecting this store to have a full scale Barnes and Noble selection of books. However, they did have the two books I was looking for.

The best place anywhere to get anything Geory Tech related. You want Georgia Tech salt and pepper shakers, chocolate or sunscreen? This is your place.They also have a huge selection of clothing. Upstairs this location also has dorm basics like coat hangers and laundry baskets. Their book selection is lacking compared to a regular Barnes and Noble though.

The programming selection is better than most other Barnes and Nobles I've been to, but for the amount of space used, I would have expected a greater amount of engineering and programming options. Most of the area is filled with clothing and novelty merchandise. Customer service appears to represent the student population. The 2nd floor incorporates a high ceiling near its center from the 1st floor but honestly appears to be more of a waste of space compared to other bookstore companies, meaning not very utilized. The plethora of book subjects are limited compared to other Barnes and Nobles and since they are affiliated with Georgia Tech, they don't provide membership discounts.

This is convenient to the Georgia Tech campus but it doesn't have the same selection as of a lot of other Barnes & Noble stores. A lot of the store space is taken over by Georgia Tech specific paraphernalia and miscellany. Still, the book space was clean and organized, and the staff was helpful.

It's in the heart of Georgia Technology University. They have pretty great collections of stuff. All kind of stuff like t shirts, coffee mugs, suvenior, text books etc. The have a Starbucks as well. It's a great place to seat back & relax, shop & have fun. So you are in Atlanta, I would definitely recommend you to visit the place.

It's a lovely place for people who like a peaceful place to sit down and have some quality coffee in starbucks attached to barnes and noble . The collection of books are awesome in barnes and noble. You can sit down comfortably and do your work in the first floor. I came to Gatech for just 2 months and i loved this place a lot.

I love the Georgia Tech bookstore! And it has a Starbucks! However I do not like that all the women's clothing are actually junior size. If you are a female that wears a woman's size large or higher, you'll have to purchase a mens size. I spoke to the store manager and she explained this is because the apparel manufacturers that pay the royalty fees for the Georgia Tech logo do not make enough money on the women size clothing.

I'm going to have to take a star off bc......I don't like how you have to walk ALL the way from the back end of the second floor to the front end of the second floor just to go back to the first floor....The "up" escalator takes you from the middle of the building to the back of the building, but the "down" escalator takes you from the front to the middle??? Why would you design a building like that? The only other way down inside the store is an elevator, and it's ALSO on the front end of the store in a back-hallway. If you want to stay in the store and go back down, you have to walk ALL the way to the front of the store to catch the escalator or the elevator. I can't BELIEVE they would treat students like this. The fact that I have to walk all the way from the back of the store to the front of the store JUST to go back to the first floor is unbelievable! I can only imagine how horrible it must be to work in that building and have to make that UNBELIEVABLY LONG walk several times a day. I would surely faint. and the textbooks and merchandise are overpriced.

The Georgia Tech B&N is a hybrid between public bookstore and college bookstore. As a result, it has benefits but suffers from the worst of both too. The professional staff, the real book people, are great. The students often care less and know less about what they're doing. There is a much smaller periodicals section than one would like and a ton of non media merchandise. It may help subsidize the books. Parking is scarce, so transit is the way to go here. Though wheelchair accessible, some things will not be easy to reach, nor do they keep isles with a three foot clearance.

This Barnes and Noble is also the official Georgia Tech bookstore. Do not expect a substantial selection of books that are not textbooks. You can, however, browse a large collection of Georgia Tech merchandise, and wait in the busy Starbucks inside.

I was in here about an hour ago to pick up my buzzcard for Georgia Tech. I forgot to get my card yesterday at orientarion, but they still allowed me to get one when I arrived. Something happened to their machine, and I had to wait a little longer than normal. As a result, a younger employee gave me a free stainless steel cup for waiting so long. EXCELLENT customer service. It is greatly appreciated!!!

Great Georgia Tech merchandise and even a pretty full selection of snacks upstairs. It's a bookstore, merch store, tech store (mostly Apple products), school supply store, small appliances and roomthings, and convenience store all rolled into one. Don't expect any deals but if you're looking for something that you'll need in college, this is undoubtedly the physical store to go to.

Barnes and Nobles has been one of my favorite book stores since 2000. Being a forner employee and card carryin member this location has a Starbucks and is iin conjuctiuon wirh Ga Tech. Ga Tech apparel, books on many subjects, even a Tecnology dept, in the back if your having problems with any apple, samsung pads, labtops. Recent renovations hav e added more seating to the upstairs Student center with microwave...Students, guest, customers all study, shop ,eat, and enjoy.

GA Tech (Go Jackets!) Bookstore Every book required by every class offered at GA Tech is available on the 2nd floor. Go and peruse the books required for each course listed, great way to see what you would like to learn. Also a great place to get all things GA Tech, Yellow Jacket clothes and anything else your GA Tech graduate would love to have for Christmas or Birthday. -AND- it is a Barnes&Noble bookstore with a smaller selection than a full-up stand-alone BN but still a bookstore for those who love, crave, need the bookstore atmosphere. There is also Starbucks inside, Free WiFi and a mini Apple Store (although expect to pay the highest price known to man for cables and computer accessories but on the plus side, they do have everything you might need)
