Huge selection for magic cards and comics. Guys are helpful but not the friendliest. I'm guessing because i went for Pokémon cards. They had a decent selection not too over priced. I purchased the 36 booster box @ $149.99 overall I'll be back again!

The store has a good selection of Mtg cards for a fair price. the dude at the counter was helpful to me, but he kind of ignored my mom and friend that were there to get cards as well. So because of that he lost the business of my mom. There were 2 dudes there who could have helped search for cards but only did, maybe the one dude was over whelmed and only focused on me because I was asking first? But the other dude working should have jumped in to help and they wouldnt have lost business🤷‍♂️ I would go over there again but I can't say I would recommend it over the eclectic cave on central

Nice selection of comics but focused on major brands ie DC and Marvel. But definitely if your into Magic the Gathering and other dueling card games this is you place. Also depending on the employee working have had good and bad experiences with staff.

I'll leave room to change opinion but as of right now, this is what a game and comic store should be! The selection of board games was not the largest but covered a wide range of styles and didn't just cater to the cult of the new. There were lots of collectibles that were well displayed. I'm not a huge comic book person myself, but that collection seemed resonant well represented. The gaming area in the back was large and well lit. Best of all, the staff member who was there at the time was extremely helpful and kind. I cannot wait to go back!

Went to the store for the first time yesterday... I just started playing Magic The Gathering a few months ago so I'm still a noob. The guys there were friendly and amazing. I bought some very good cards at good prices. I also stayed for Friday Night Magic and entered the Draft tournament (my first ever!). I enjoyed it immensely and I would definitely return. All the staff was great and answered all my questions, they were very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Twin Suns... they have a great selection of games, comics and memorabilia. Looking forward to more Magic events at Twin Suns! :)

Great selection of gamer and geek stuff! One of the best stores to browse for games and cards! I've been here two times, first time was very busy and everyone was friendly. Second time it was dead, and I sold some magic cards for a decent price. Selling cards was very informal and quick, but I felt awkward because employee/owner was kinda unwelcoming. Didn't get a "Hello! or "Welcome!" And I felt like I was inconveniencing when I had to interrupt their magic game to ask questions. Otherwise it is a great store!

This place is awesome. The brothers that run it are super friendly and helpful. The store has a wide array of anything a new or experienced player of table top or card games could want. The one draw back is one employee. I don't know his name but while he is helpful he is a bit abrasive (but I highly doubt he is trying to be)

Fun, friendly atmosphere for playing Magic the gathering. Pretty solid stock of comics, graphic novels, and tabletop gaming supplies as well. Definitely one of the best hobby shops in New Mexico. The twins, who own the place, are pretty cool, and the rest of the staff is good as well. Highly recommended for nerds far and wide.

Great board game selection, friendly staff, and a clean store. Great for families, a regular game group, or just shooting the breeze with the staff. It is a game store that makes a great impression and avoids the dark crowded aesthetic of some other shops. The staff are knowledgeable, provide great game suggestions and have no problem placing orders if you don't see it on their shelf. My favorite game shop in Albuquerque, and one of my favorite places in Albuquerque period.

Twin Suns Comics and Games is a really nice and fun local game store. They have loads of great things in their store, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I don't go for the comics, mainly just the games, but they have a great selection of both. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star review is that their website is not user friendly on a mobile device.

When I was young I would play DnD in their excellent play space, as a teen I found great community in their Friday night magic, and now as an adult they have been endlessly help as I involve them in the creation of my own games. Helpful, honest, and honestly fair. I say, it is a great place to go to for a nerd night out. Plenty of Magic to build a current rule deck or take advantage of their back stock for, building a kitchen top deck is easier there. No nerd hangout cannot be missing comic books and statues of your favorite DC or marvel superheroes for a great price that you cannot find unless you go online. Being somewhat an avid customer, I get awarded with discounts and energy drinks. Just don't take your girlfriend there! ;-) Thanks and keep up the great work.

This is the best place in town to play magic or other table top games period. There are some obnoxious, overly competitive people who play there unfortunately, but the store does its best to make the environment friendly. The staff are knowledgeable and excellent and they have a great selection of collectibles, comics, cards and games. Check it out!

One of the better game stores I've called my FLGS. Pretty much the best store in Albuquerque right now. Great gaming space, and they are willing to support a wide variety of games, even those that are more niche. For some product lines, they don't have a lot of shelf space for lots of items, but they're generally pretty good about making/getting special orders in. Likewise, they're very good about maintaining comic subscriptions, and have been very good in my experience about getting back issues on series I had missed starting subscriptions. I've had no problems with the staff or owners, and they are generally quite friendly.

I had the chance to be a regular patron of this store for the end half of 2016. It was a pleasure. The owners are often in the store and are very personable and knowledgeable - true gamers (they even regularly played with us on edh nights!). The overall vibe of the store is one that fosters and encourages a laid-back, relaxing approach to gaming, which I very much enjoyed. The store has a good amount of table space, but more importantly it has three of the finest custom-made large tables perfectly suited for miniature gaming that I've ever seen - and I say this as someone who has probably visited at least a dozen gaming stores over the years. The store also has a cozy couch-widescreen tv area, complete with a dvd player and some dvds, so it's a great way to rest and unwind between games. Overall, being a gamer of this store was a wonderful experience.

My daughter recently got into Magic. I played on and off since 94. I took her in and they were a bit busy, but we were greeted at the door. After looking through a few boxes of commons and uncommons for ourselves, my daughter picked out some angels creatures along with a few I grabbed for standard. When we went to ring up, one of the brothers rang us up, a few bucks for mine, and he gave her her small stack for free. About a week later, I went in solo with a list for Commander. 100 separate cards. I knew it would be a lot of work finding all of them. But they both took the list, snapped a few photos of it, and both of them were on it. I left and came back a few hours later, and they had 75% of my list in a stack on the shelf, not only that, they went through the effort of picking out a second stack to fill in the gaps in my deck. some picks were better than what I had put on the list. I requested that they only pull no-foils, as I didnt want to spend a whole lot on glamouring out the deck. couldnt be helped though, there were a few foils in the stack. They rang me up, I grabbed some sleeves and a box too. they threw in a free entry fee for the commander game nights on wednesdays for the month. I tossed on a stack of lands, which one of the brothers said "no charge." Grade A service. fun environment, and you can tell these guys know their games, take the extra mile for the patrons, and have a passion for what they do. This is now my new LGS, an awesome place indeed.

I have been going to various FLGS's for only a few years now (5, come to think of it), and I have always steered clear of the stereotypical smelly and dimly lit sceptic tanks full of shambling fail elementals what call themselves stores. This is not one of those stores! Before visiting from out of state, I dropped a message via Facebook and got a very prompt response even though the hour was getting pretty late. The person at the other end answered all questions and gave some great info. That weekend, I came in to find my meager expectations blown out of the water. The back was busy with a MtG release event (I assume) and people were chilling out on the couches. And the best part? No smell! Indeed, the whole place felt really welcoming and familiar. This was the type of store I have grown so used to. Sure, I had to wait a little before being noticed or helped by the gents behind the counter, but at least one was actually helping another customer at the time. Not sure what the other was doing... But when it was my turn, the employee was very prompt to satisfy my needs and, even though he got busy shortly after, was able to finish the transaction so I could get on my merry. If I lived nearby, I would definitely return. Indeed, I will definitely come back next time I am visiting the in-laws. Seriously, the only thing wrong with this place that I could see was just the wait to be helped at the counter. But if them doing good business is the worst thing going for them, then we've found ourselves a good game store.

Look, the options for LGS's in ABQ are limited at best. On the west side, Twin Suns is the choice for MtG. Wiley is awesome during FNM, visit a few times and the regulars are pretty be welcoming. Don't be discouraged during your first visit or two! I only wished there was more options for Limited play than just FNM, but that goes for all of ABQ, not just Twin Suns! Give em a try!
