FANTASTIC bike shop. I brought my bicycle in after many months it sat in a parking garage. Many garage cleanings blew a lot of dust onto the bike in that time. I did this before actually and brought my bike into another shop in Redmond because this shop was so busy that they weren't taking any services! This time, there were three service workers working in the back on bikes and another person at the counter helping another customer. I really liked how they talked to the other customer, very helpful and knowledgeable. They took my bike in right away and gave me some air and told me it was in great shape other than that, and to see if it loses air in the next day and day after, to see if there is a problem with the tires. Anyways, I had a good experience here. The shop is clean, has an amazing location, and I liked looking around at all the bikes while waiting.

AMAZING! I was looking for kids bikes for my 8 year old and was helped by the MOST knowledgeable and kind staff. Specifically, if you have the honor of working with Mihir, you are so lucky. Mihir knows his bikes and isn’t afraid to flex his knowledge while teaching you along the way. Any question we asked, he had an answer. So helpful! He was also incredibly honest. If he believed a bike wasn’t worth our time, he would go right out and speak his truth. 11/10 would recommend. (also very handsome if that matters to you)

Gregg's was the only place that was able to squeeze me in for a brake bleed when everywhere in town has a 1+ week wait. It was a rear brake bleed on a kid's bike. Ended up taking 3 days. What i didn't realize was that it will cost be $65 + tax for a single brake (not a pair). For an entry level hydraulics brake, i could have gotten a brand new rear brake for < $50. Oops. Guess i should have asked first. I was expecting $20-$30. They did do a good job.

Bought a liv alight bike from them today and they were extremely helpful. I was able to test ride this bike and ask as many questions, get demonstrations, make adjustments etc. The staff was friendly and seemed really passionate. Would recommend for bike purchase! :)

***THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SALES TEAM ONLY*** Went in to get help selecting my first MTB and I was met with Tyler as I came in. Right away I was pleased by his nice demeanor. He was very knowledgeable with bikes, parts, and clothing. He allowed me to ask many questions and gave me useful responses. I sure learned a lot while getting my first mtb. You can tell he likes to take care of customers by meeting their needs. Will be returning. There was another coworker of Tyler’s but I forgot his name. Coll something. Also just as helpful!

Talk with Ben. I was looking for an e-bike to commute with and be able to go on trails when I felt like it. I had a lot of specific questions around mileage, motors, power/torque, front vs full suspension to name a few. This is where Ben's expertise about e-bikes they had made the process just easy. He took the time to walk me through all my questions and offer details that I didn't consider (first e-bike and all), which really helped me narrow down what I wanted. Thanks Ben.

Solid customer service. I typically handle all of my own bike upgrades and repairs but I had failing front brakes and couldn't work out why. Quick trip in and the tech resolved the issue quickly and gave me some solid advice to prevent the issue later. I definitely recommend Gregg's to those who bike in the Bellevue area.

My front derailleur was out of alignment so I called Gregg's and they said to bring it on in. Technician fixed it in 10 minutes, making multiple adjustments to ensure it was right. When he brought it out, I asked how much and he said no charge. I'm not even a Gregg's curlstomer. Didn't buy my bike there. This is what exceptional service is all about. They now have a new customer in me.

The guys at Gregg’s really know their stuff. Every time we come here, we have a great experience. Stopped by this week and Scott was incredibly easy to talk to and helpful. He helped my husband pick out some shoes and cleats and assisted me with a new saddle. You could just tell he was excited to talk about bikes and his enthusiasm made the entire experience fun. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped by about a month ago. I had called on a Friday night before closing to find a quick release skewer for a bike wheel. We went up Saturday morning and there was a fairly large line. They are (rightfully) taking covid quite seriously and limiting the number of people in the shop. After talking to the gentleman who was tracking the number of people entering/exiting, we explained that we had called last night to ask about the skewer. We had planned to wait until we were able to go in to the service counter to pick up the part. Instead of having us wait longer, the attendant went to pick up the skewer & gave it to us for free! It was exactly what we needed, and fit perfectly in the bike. It was such a nice gesture, and let us enjoy our bike ride in that awesome September weather. Incredibly nice customer service, we'll definitely be back. :)

They were super helpful in responding to my queries and Evan (their sales rep.) went beyond and also helped me to install the bike rack in my car (which I did not bought from the store). It’s been a while since I have done a review for some place. Considering we are in this “new normal” of not being able to go anywhere, and this was one of the places we ended up going to should say a lot as to why they received 5 stars. My journey actually started on the Specialized website to find bikes that would fit our needs (Family of 3 — with a brand new baby boy!). I saw a bike that interested me as well as one my wife liked also. I reached out to a couple shops, but one in particular got back to me extremely quick. A representative from Gregg’s Cycle (who I come to find out later is one of the GMs/Owners - Marty P.). He was super informative and very responsive. One issue that I had was our new car did not have a tow hitch, so I couldn’t use our bike racks like normal. I asked if they offered home delivery like a few of their competitors. He said they did not, but if I was truly interested, they would find a way to work it out. Fast forward to a couple days later, after heading to get my car serviced, we were in the area of the Bellevue Greggs cycle - we ended up talking to Evan who was great at determining our needs and “keeping it real” with what bike would best fit our needs. I told him how we would be riding the bikes and he helped us solidify our decision on a couple of Specialized Bikes! The process was pretty smooth and bikes were purchased. Their sales Manager Rob definitely went above and beyond to help get our bikes to us and having a new born baby boy - we really appreciated the service and dedication of Rob and his team! Thanks again for everything Marty, Rob and Evan. We will definitely send as many people we can to your location! When it’s time to upgrade and get our son his very own bike, we will be back down to come see you! Thanks!

I had a fantastic experience even in the middle of this pandemic going to their busy store. Eric in the service department was able to diagnose my problems and get me the parts I needed to get up and running. He even gave me enough information to make a decision to try and repair my bike myself since they were very backed up. I cannot recommend him and Gregg's more.

I've had mixed experiences with bike shops over the last 30 years but I was stunned by the helpful service of Marcus here! Two consecutive days in a row, I went in and he answered my questions, looked up parts, and gave me some helpful tips. Even gave me some plastic blocks to help with putting inserts into my brake cables. I didn't ask for them and they probably cost next to nothing but I would have struggled without them. THAT is exceptional customer service; anticipating a customer's needs and elevating convenience. Truly excellent! Thank you and please keep up the professional work!

I was absolutely delighted with every part of my bike-buying experience. Being a first-time rider of a proper bike, it took me a long time to find the bike with just the right fit and features to meet my needs. The sales staff were patient and helpful while I figured out what I wanted, and genuinely shared my excitement when we finally found it! They really know their stuff, and were happy to explain to me about the different options for frames and components that go into choosing a bike. Aside from the actual selecting of a bike, I brought it back a few weeks after I bought it because the front disc brake was rubbing intermittently. They explained to me that it was a simple case of user error, fixed it up, and took the time to show me how to adjust my braking technique so that it doesn't happen again. I'm super appreciative. :)

Gregg’s Cycle’s repair shop recently totally saved me when I developed flat biking about a mile from the shop. They were open and immediately were able to sort out my bike; additionally, the woman handling the repair fixed up a ton of other minor issues on my decades old bike as well, no extra charge. I bought a bicycle online but my assembly skills are not so great. So I searched online for the assembly and tune-up service in Bellevue. I called all of them, and the prices were outrageous, plus the waiting list was up to 3 weeks. The last I called was Gregg's and on the phone I couldn't believe: they asked for a very reasonable price and "we will do it in 20 minutes, just walk in". Well, I went there, they fixed and tuned-up the bicycle in 10 minutes, and the final price was totally in line with what they promised over the phone. In addition, the guy who served us was extremely nice and friendly and ready to give suggestions and ideas. Great!

Really a top notch bike shop. They have good brands for high end and entry level road, mountain, Cyclocross, urban, and electric. Good selection of kids bikes too. They are very open to test rides and have good terrain around them for road tests (mountain, not so much). The staff is always friendly and usually knowledgeable--they often hire newbies who aren't much help, but they know when to get an experienced staff member. The only down side is that they get very busy when the weather is nice.

Workers are very helpful in answering all questions and they have a huge selection of beautiful bikes! Only criticism is 95% of bikes are $700 dollars or more but if you can afford it the store's 5 stars. Great store!

Have used a lot of shops around Seattle over the past 10 years. This time, I have a race bike that I was having a problem with the shifters over the past year. I was told that I probably needed to change out the dura ace groupo because the parts were going bad. Not searching for a different diagnosis, I went into Gregg's because during COVID, I assumed they had the most inventory to get what I needed. Worked with Fritz, who immediately recognized that the problem was a lubricant used at factory on that the specific groupo. All it needed was some alcohol flushing, and specific lubricant. I was prepared to spend a couple thousand on entire drivetrain, and it was such a simple solution. Fritz is the MAN!!!

Awesome quality work Sold me what I needed, a new rear sprocket, adjusted derailleur bracket, and charge a fair price for the labor and expertise. My bike has 24,000 miles and needs work to keep it running efficiently.

My ebike got a flat 10 miles into a 20 mile ride, and of course I forgot my tools at home. I walked the 70 lb. beast 3 miles to Gregg's Cycles for help. David from the service department fixed my flat, and trued my wheel in less than 30 minutes, no small feat because the wheel is very heavy and delicate due to the motor. He even allowed me to remove and reinstall the wheel at my request, using the shop's tools. Gregg's Cycles and David from the service department really came through for me today. Consider my expectations exceeded!

I think this is a top notch LBS. I've had them assemble and fit my tri bike and they did a great and good job, resp. The fit should have included vid of actual riding - it does not and the fit, unsurprisingly had to be tweaked by others that are more experienced. The service department has been great - unfailingly polite, responsive, professional, and - most importantly - expert. I trust them and would definitely recommend.

I always go to Gregg's before any big ride because I know 1) they will make my bike right and 2) they will treat me fairly. My GF and I are visiting from NC and my buddy from Idaho. After a mechanical on the trail earlier in the day, they had us bring the bike in and fixed it on the spot. They saved the beginning of our journey North to Whistler! Then they ran the water bottle I left on the counter across the street to us, where we were eating. These guys are great!

I had a fantastic experience with Francis today while buying bike shoes. I thought I needed road shoes, but in actuality I had mtb shoes that I used for both road and mountain biking (I bought them 10 years ago!). I saved myself a huge hassle of returning shoes bought online and picked up a pair that I just loovvveee. They're so perfect and snazzy :)

Look at the review below mine by Spyros. What a moron and a liar. Nobody buying a $6000 bike goes without a helmet. Speaking from experience from buying pricey bikes and riding with many others, if he was telling the truth he would know the laws, likely brought his own overpriced helmet, and know the test ride process. Greggs is a great shop who knows what they are doing. Don't be influenced by trolls.

I was replacing my worn tubeless tires on my bike today and couldn't pump the tubeless tire with my floor pump so decided to have greggs pump the air with the compressor. The bike mechanic took my wheels and in less than a minute I hear "pop pop" the sound of beads seating in the rims. Then the guy charges me $32 for putting air in my tires. I asked him why such a high price for pumping an air into the bike tires? Then he said "our shop is a large shop and it's expensive to maintain the shop". The receipt shows for fixing a flat on two tires. Greggs just lost a customer today and I will not recommend this shop to my friends. Riding bike is a hobby to me and I would be more than happy to support the LBS, but I will not support Greggs cycle. Update: Rob From greggs cycle called me to address the issue today. He took time to investigate and called me to clear up the misunderstanding. He gave me store credit and assured me that Bellevue Greggs Cycle is not only about making profit but really care about the service they provide to customers. Thanks Rob, for your dedication to excellent service. Thanks Alex @ greggs cycle in bellevue for helping me with my White industries ENO FREEWHEEL. Now my bike is rolling like a butter. Happy bike.
