Reviews of Bike Works Seattle

Keelan(?) Fantastic service from this shop. The employees are up most professional. They get busy for sure so pick you battle. Good service takes time.
Shop tech there keenly inspect the bike and even sourced new attachments for better performance.
Cannot express my trust for this shop. I’d probably let them do my taxes.
Cristina Morgan
Truly a fan of this place and all they represent. I've stopped by several times to shop for parts, a bike, or just to ask question. Each time I've been met with helpful folks who answer questions honestly and graciously. Yesterday was no different.
Jessica Rabbit
Helpful and non judgmental place. Highly recommend this shop.

Best local bike shop in Seattle! You can find fantastic deals on used bikes and parts here with outstanding service and knowledgeable, competent staff to help you. Kellen built me a custom bike 8 years ago and he is still there to help me with my new bike today. Bike works provides a terrific service to our community, every city needs a shop like this one.
Andrew Bowerman
Great selection and price. Always have what I need at a great price and keeping my bike on the road. Calen is without a doubt the best, a bike parts wizard.
Miguel Sanz

This place is amazing. They provide a real service to the community. The wheels on my bike that I use to get to work disappeared and they were able to set me up with used parts and great service for such an unbelievably reasonable price. Great people too. Thanks!

Awesome little bike shop. Nothing about them is little though. You'd find accessories and parts everywhere you look. I was able to find everything I needed for my bike and some more. I got lights, gloves and chain lube. I was in and out in like 8 minutes. One of the guys who worked there was super nice and helpful. It seems like they sell and repair everything bike related. I will be back for more bike goodies.

Donated my mountain bike there. The staff helped me find a bike that fit my needs.they where very knowledgeable on what fit and where able to let me test drive a few until we found the right one. Friendly and very helpful crew. This will be my go to place for now on. I was very impressed with how they are with every customer that came in and how they helped them right away. Plenty of new and used parts, rims, frames ect. I would always recommend this place for the beginners to the daily riders. Thanks to these guys,I am a happy rider. Awesome place.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. I came in looking for a particular bike for my large size and they gave me an array of options to try out and even took some bikes out of their storage for me. Even though I didn't make a purchase at the end, all of the staff were helpful, polite and enthusiastic. If you're looking for a great LBS that is truly community focused (they are a non-profit), then I highly recommend this humble shop to all riders with all needs and experience levels.

Jim, Bike Works Program Coordinator, is a gem. I saw the Mobile truck today and asked if he could work on my derailer, he assured me that he could. I brought my bike back and he fixed my issue and made sure my bike was safe to ride. The service that Jim provided was professional, skilled, and friendly. I would highly recommend this bike shop and Jim's services!

If you need a bike. Go here.
These folks are friendly, down to earth, and all about getting you on a bike that works for you. They are unabashedly all about increasing cycling safely and with joy.
I have never felt judged here. They take amazing care of everyone from the barest beginner, to the hobby bike builder, to those seeking burner bikes, to the professional racing cyclist. And each purchase funds their programs to spread their love and knowledge of cycling and bicycle building and repair.
They sell mostly refurbished bikes from donation at extremely reasonable prices. But you can also get lights, parts, gloves, and helmets here. They have welcoming and useful classes, earn a bike program for kids, and open workshop times for a small fee so folks can use tools and someone is there for advice.
Cannot recommend enough.
I have gotten a commuting bike here and 2 bikes for Burning Man that have gone and come back strong.
They also give me advice and teach me something every time I come in.
This place is good for community, product, and customers. Best use of your money. Go. Here.

I came in with my old mountain bike of 16 years to see if it was worth repairing. They looked it over and told me that if I kept the bike a little longer,I would find it wheels up and dead in my storage. They showed me bikes that just came in and I picked out a couple to test. I only had a really small budget and could not get the high end bikes there. They came thru with a bike that fit me great and was in my price range. That was three months ago,and have been going there for things ever since.I have put over a 164 miles my bike and plan to put a hole lot more with the help of this shop. Great staff and they love what they do and show it. Seattle needs places like this all over because I would recommend these guys to every who owens a bike to come in and get the help they need. Thank you for the opportunity to share my great experience.

I called and asked what I needed. Answered right away and there was a part I needed, price is reasonable, I went there picked it up. There was a line in front of me, during pandemic, I got what I want and glad their service. Keep up the good works guys.
Michael Allen
Knowledgeable and friendly staff with a great selection of unique used bikes and parts galore. Great spot to order your new bike, buy something that has been restored or build it yourself from their parts bins and open shop times.
Elizabeth Harris
A really fabulous organization with deep roots in the community. They've offered professional wrenching, quality bikes, education and support since 1996.
On the retail side, I especially like that they sell used bikes, bike parts and tools.
James Brooks
These people are awesome, they went above and beyond to hook me up. They were very busy yet got my bike on the road several days earlier than the original estimated repair date so I could attend a planned ride.
I will be a customer for life.
Jim Perich-Anderson
Great nonprofit recovering and refurbishing bikes to give to kids in need - also teaches kids how to repair bikes and ride then safely. PLUS, a regularly scheduled drop in bike repair, with full set of tools, and assistance, all for a small donation!
