We rented bikes for an hour with our kids, ages 9, 10 and 13 - it was so fun! A fantastic way to spend a couple hours exploring the park and getting a little exercise (much needed after the endless eating here in NOLA.) The service at this place was excellent - Donisha, John Kyle, Byron and Luis helped move a long line along quickly, outfitted the kids with their right-size bikes and helmets and pointed us in a good direction for exploration. We biked all the way to the lake and back. Highly recommend! (Also with kids, recommend the putt putt in this park.)

We did the night time swan boat ride with our two toddlers. The lake at night was so pretty and the boat ride was so unique. The employees Bryan and Louis were very friendly and even offered my kids a jacket because they were cold. Would definitely go back!

Such a fun swan ride. John and Bryan were working when I went and they were super attentive, helpful, and nice. It started raining and we were able to get a rain check to come back and finish our rental time. Highly recommend for a fun thing to do in the park.

This was my first Swan boat ride and I was not disappointed. From the gentlemen who we rented the Swan boat from and the young man who gave us our life vest, were so pleasant to interact with.

Alabama OUTSIDErs

We rented the 4-6 person Surrey, and let me tell ya, it will wear you out. Haha! We ride bikes all the time, so we're not out of shape. But these bikes made you work the entire time, just to go 5mph or so. It's not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to be prepared. We still had a lot of fun and it was definitely a worthwhile experience. The guys working there were nice and professional. You need to have a little patience when you go, because I think it's just two of them and they have to help people into/out of boats, get bikes out, process transactions, etc. You definitely need to do it at least once!

OMG!!! WE HAD BLAST!! Travel Agents took over New Orleans…As a Travel Agent I get a chance to do Market Research for my clients. First time visiting New Orleans it was exciting riding a Paddle boat on the waters at night. Here’s a few pics for you all…it’s a must to experience the City Park to ride them.

We rented a surrey bike here. It was so much fun, but beware that it is hard work! We got the bike for an hour (the minimum rental time) and surrendered after about half an hour, but it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, even offering a 20% discount when they realized my husband is a veteran. The park is very pretty. The path was good. No complaints at all!
