Brought my Cruzbike recumbent in for routine service and a minor upgrade last week. Darryl dialed in the new air shock such that it performs well w/o needing further adjustment thus far. Thomas took the time to ensure the work met my expectations and dispensed helpful advice along the way. Highly satisfied with their service and would recommend.

I came in for some advice on a new wheel set. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. They gave me some good advice without pushing a sale on me. I eventually purchased my new wheel set from them several months later. They are a great group of guys. I often joke with Chris and Adam about how I always leave with something every time I visit to the shop. Mark is a cool and knowledgeable guy also. I highly recommend this shop for your biking needs.

UPDATE: Still the best bike shop in the city. Their entire team is so nice, maintenance crew takes the time to explain things, give you text updates when service is completed. ORIGINAL: This is the best bike shop in the city. Really nice, no pretention. They also sell you what you need, not trying to push you to spend more. Their service guys are really nice, too. They don't talk down to you as mechanics in other shops do.

I purchased my Liv road bike at Bicycle World a while back and just recently brought it in for a proper fitting. I'd been having some knee and IT band pain when going on long rides. Not sure why I waited so long! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and set me up on a trainer to watch me ride. They partnered with Physio2Geaux (highly recommended) for a comprehensive bike fit and checked my range of motion and discussed prior injuries. It turned out my bike needed several adjustments that I was unaware of. Since my bike fitting I've had no pain issues on long rides... I am in the thick of training for an endurance ride and am feeling great! Wonderful people and service. Thank you!

Inexpensive new bikes with a wide variety including bike gear and electric bikes. Also a neat space inside. They give a year of tune ups with a bike purchase. Rick was super helpful getting me a new set of wheels based on my height and needs. He even showed me how to remove a tire when I asked. Overall a good experience. I recommend this place over other bike shops in the New Orleans area.

I had a great experience at Bicycle World! I don’t know anything about biking, but I love spin class and I came into the store looking for some new bike shoes to use with my Peloton bike. Marc was super helpful and explained the different types of shoes to me, then showed which ones would be best for my foot and for the Peloton specifically. The ones we picked are a perfect fit and are very comfortable. I will definitely be back for any future bike needs!

This cycling shop far exceeded my expectations. There was a variety of bikes, ranging from beginner to advance rider. Most important, was the price variance. Again, the price was geared to the riders' cycling level - for beginners there were high quality inexpensive bikes, for advance riders there were specialized bikes wit higher price tag. All and all, awesome place w/ a courteous and talented staff. Loved the visit and purchased my first bike on my first visit - didn't have a need to go anywhere else.

My wife and I bought our first road bikes here. Staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and (most importantly) patient. I don't remember our sales rep's name, but he answered questions and worked with us for well over an hour without the slightest hint of agitation--even though we weren't buying the most expensive bikes in the shop. The old beagle who wonders the store is a nice touch too.

Went in today unsure of what I wanted. I was quickly approached by Thomas who was not only knowledgeable but real. He asked me what I wanted to do- Gave me his recommendations and let me ride a few bikes. He told me what I should concern myself with and what wasn't really important. No pressure- totally cool guyI had no intention of buying today but felt totally confident in my purchase once I had. I realize $500 isn't that much for a decent bike when it comes down to quality etc., but it's a lot to a normal guy who just wants a good bike for the rough and tumble streets of NO. I totally spent more than I wanted- and I'm sure I'll pay for it later- but I'm totally satisfied. - Now I'll update you when it actually comes in (they didn't have my size in the color I wanted)

A super friendly staff and a good selection of bikes, parts and accessories. It's a good bet you can find just about anything you need when it comes to biking. And the staff comes from many differenct facets of cycling. So therei s usually someone who works there that's into the same kid of riding as you.
