I recently brought the Bike in for a tune up and they completed it very fast and it rides awesome now. Plenty of parking in the back and they have a cool button to help open the door! This shop is great, I travelled about 40 min because they had a bike in stock that I was looking for, and they quickly helped suggest a different size once I was there that would better fit her height (she kind of fell between sizes based on height, but the staff helped me make the right decision based on their experience). He knew the optimal position to be in while riding and explained in great detail how small changes to a bike fit can impact how your body responds while riding. Eric and Ilene are The Dynamic Duo of Bicycles! Ilene is super friendly and handles the scheduling, ordering, customer service, and front office function seamlessly.Eric is a legend in his field! He is the most knowledgeable and user-friendly bicycle expert I have ever met. I explained my cycling and medical idiosyncrasies and he translated it into "bike". We connected, and I just knew I would get the perfect bike and the perfect fit. I knew from the onset when I ordered my bike during the pandemic that it would take a long time to arrive. Neither of us thought 20 months. However, Eric took all the measurements with incredible precision, refitted my current bike to keep me happy in the interim, gave me some suggestions which immediately led to a PR, and kept me abreast of the timeline. I knew my new bike and Bicycle World experience would be worth the wait. When the long-awaited pickup date arrived, the bike was ready for me to jump on and fitted to my measurements. We had pre-discussed the pedal system, shoes, and appropriate bicycle computer for my needs which were on hand and ready to install. He even he taught me how to use them!I purchased a 2023 Trek Domane with Sram AXS electronic shifting, tubeless tires, Speedplay pedal system, and Wahoo Elemnt GPS computer, along with Shimano road shoes and a Smith helmet. He even filled my "road kit" with all the appropriate gear!Where I live, I have the choice of many reputable bike dealers. I choose to drive an hour away to take advantage of Bicycle World's service and expertise. Thank you Eric and Ilene!

It isn't often that one has to drive over two hours to buy a bicycle, but such was the case for me, as no shops within one hundred miles had any suitable inventory, currently, or for the foreseeable future. In expanding my internet search, I came upon Bicycle World in Mount Kisco, and expecting more disappointment, was actually surprised to see that they had, in stock, several high-quality brands in my size. I phoned the store to confirm that they, indeed, had the bikes in stock, and after a reassuring conversation with Ben, in which he took the time to explain the various options and why a particular model was best for me, we reserved the bike and scheduled a time for a fitting. I was greeted in the store by Ilene, one of the co-owners, who was extremely friendly and helpful. And even though I was thirty minutes early for my fitting, I wasn't made to wait. Eric, Ilene's husband and co-owner, conducted the fitting, and honestly, it was the best bike fit I've ever had. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, not only about bikes, but about biomechanics as well. I'm a kinesiologist, so I can appreciate it when someone has a true understanding of human motion. More importantly, Eric was very thorough, gave me time to provide my own input, took his time in fine-tuning the bike to me, and didn't rush me as I needed time to get the feel for the setup and ask relevant questions. In a time when internet purchases are in vogue, it's really refreshing to experience truly caring, personal and exceptional customer service, delivered by people who clearly love what they do. Driving over two hours to Bicycle World in Mount Kisco was well worth the effort, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks to Ilene and Eric for a great experience!

The quality of service is extraordinary. The depth of expertise that Eric has made it very easy for us to pick out a new bike for my wife. It turned out that the differences between what she thought she wanted (based almost solely on aesthetic considerations) and what would actually be the best bike for her, were substantial and incredibly important. They are friendly, answer all of your questions, and do exceptional work. My old road bike had annoying gearing issues that multiple NYC shops couldn't seem to fix. No more squeaks! I’m back to stealth riding mode. Thank you so much for taking good care of my bike - I know I should do a better job at it however you guys do a wonderful job of fixing all that I broke and replacing necessary parts. I may need to pop in again, to have that rear gear tweaked a little bit - going down to first gear sometimes it doesn’t click in right away. The staff is not only highly knowledable in bikes, they went above and beyond to make my 5-year-old feel comfortable. After servicing her bike, they asked her to sit on it to make adjustments. She felt shy, and to help her feel more comfortable, they made excuses as to why they had to step away, but just far enough so they could still see her without her noticing. While this is a small gesture to some, this was a huge one for us. They genuinely care about the customer.

Kudos to Eric, who patiently spent time within his busy time explaining to us how to properly maintain a bike as well as how to safely ride a bike and change gears. I found Bicycle World treat customers well, charge very fair prices for tune ups / repairs, and the turnaround time is much shorter than compared to another well know chain stores in the area. Going forward, I would rather drive 30 plus minutes to Bicycle World for any bike related issues than going to a shop nearby by. Good to have such a good and consistent local business around where everything else is out of ordinary.

It was a pleasure to purchase my son’s Trek Marlin 5. The staff is super friendly with that small town, family owned charm. They were very helpful with all aspects from choices to purchase. Our bike needed to built. So when they completed it they reached out to let us know that it had a scratch on it. When we got there for pickup, we looked at the scratch. It was minor and they went above and beyond for that scratch. That’s how much they care about your bicycle, they love bikes! Bought a Kuat Bike rack and two Trek bikes about 4 years ago here. A pleasant experience and never regretted stopping in on a whim. Recently the rack was damaged (without the bikes attached) in a parking lot mishap with a fellow shopper in CT and needed to seek BW advice. Not our fault however we wanted to see if it could be repaired and minimize the expense for the other party. After some thought we got a new rack and attached in 30 minutes. The Kuat rack is the best for SUV’S. With bikes attached the rack will tilt and give you access to the back of the vehicle. Hope this helps!

I wish I found out about Bicycle World in the beginning. Let me explain, I went to my LBS to look at a Specialized road bike, and there was one bike in the store I was looking at, I tried out the bike, but I thought the bike was too big. The owner of the shop, kept on telling me it fitted me perfectly, unfortunately I trusted the owner and bought the bike. After a couple of rides, I knew the bike was too big. At this time, I decided to buy a new road bike and sell my current road bike I bought in May 2010. I searched on the internet for a person who knew a lot about fitting a rider for a road bike. I came across a person name Eric Marcos the owner of Bicycle World, all the reviews and testimonies were amazing. I decided to travel over 1 hour to checkout Bicycle World, what you get is out of this world service from Eric, and Bicycle World staff. Eric took his time and gave me a fitting and told me which road bike would fit me perfectly. Afterward, I placed an order for a new 2011 Felt Z2. You see most bike shops just want to make a sale, but Bicycle World just want to take care of you and make sure you get the best experience and service. Bicycle World will answer all of your questions and spend time with you regardless if you're buying. I love Bicycle World and recommend the shop to all people who love riding. You won't regret going there.

BW has been my ONLY bike shop since I first visited in 2012. The shop can fix anything and their pricing is super fair. Eric and his crew do everything they can to help you get back on your bike as quickly as possible! They have kept me safe on a well maintained bicycle. They fix and maintain my bike as if it were their own bike. They have offered thoughtful advice from what tires to use, what saddle might be best, best value bicycle pump, and even what routes to try! The gear and cycling clothing are the best quality and pricing is as good as any online site....but at Bicycle World Ilene will encourage you to try stuff on to make sure it fits right! If you are interested in a proper bike fit, go to Bicycle World and have Eric fit you. Exceptional attention to detail and a very good listener! I come here from southern Westchester and it is always worth the trip. It is also conveniently situated near the Harlem North Train stop! No better shop around!

I've always loved riding bikes ever since I was a kid. I'm far from a professional, constantly lost on mountain biking trails, but I enjoy myself. Needed a new mountain bike and BW was great. Their selection was fantastic. I was fitted on the spot (for free). The purchase came with a pair of free tune ups. After riding my bike for a year, I love it. The salesman went over the options of a few bikes, listened to what I wanted to do with my bike and selected one that I have been very happy with (a Trek Xcaliber 6). They stock everything you need accessory wise. I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for my 1 year tune up. 4 guys in the back with their noses to the grindstones tuning bikes. That should tell you how large of a community trusts them with their bikes.

I went to see Eric on the recommendation of a cycling buddy. Fantastic bike shop. After buying a bike elsewhere, I was plagued by lower back pain on rides. I scheduled a fitting with Eric who took nearly two hours to ensure fit that would eliminate pain. The fitting eliminated the pain for a few months. After it recurred, I brought my bike back into BW, where Eric made a few more adjustments. I'm now pain free and can't thank Eric and his team enough! BW goes above and beyond in every way. EDIT 1/5/17: After returning to BW to purchase a new pair of cleats, I got an email from Ilene just a few hours after leaving the store. Apparently, the shoes had just gone on sale shortly after I bought them, and I was given a $75 in store credit to use! It was awesome of BW to do this, and I would give a 6th star if I could.

Best Bike fit ever! Eric is amazing. My wife and I have had other shops do a "bike fit" and then had to go to Eric to redo the job after the other place could not get her bike comfortable. It is amazing what a bike fitting, done by a master bike fitter can do. It is the difference between numb hands, sore knee(s), a sore butt and then pure comfort with no pain. I have ridden bikes for over 30 years and thought I was fine. My wife bought me a fitting as a present and I said ok. Eric spent almost 2 hours and adjusted my seat, shifters and pedals (and shoe cleats) and when I went for a ride the next day I was blown away by the lack of pain and increased power I had. He made several small changes that made a HUGE difference. If you think your bike fits you, it doesn't really fit until Eric dials you in. It is so worth the money I can't even begin to say. We spend 1000s on bikes and equipment but forget the most important part. For the price of a good helmet or shoe you can get the most important thing....a custom fit! A half inch can mean all the difference between a sore knee or numb body parts and pain free riding that will keep you going longer and faster without injury from not being aligned correctly. After I bought a second bike for my wife we tried another shop closer to our house with lots of facy equipment for fitting. They did a really bad job and then we brought it to Eric and Bicycle World for a redo. I teally learned my lesson. Just because someone has a fancy shop or says they do bike fittings doesn't mean they can do a good job. Eric fixed her bike and my wife is pain free on her other bike now. Eric is a "level 3" master bike fitter and in my opinion kind of a magician and savant in the way he can spot subtle details that make such a huge difference. I can not recommend them enough!!! Excellent repair services and product selection too btw.
