When I have a problem with my bike or need something updated, I just walk in with my bike and they are always willing to look it over, take the time to answer my questions, and do what they can to help. They give you their honest opinion, such as letting me know when I can easily install/fix something myself verses paying them for the labor. They are great to work with. I highly recommend them!

This place was great. I brought in my son's bike to get fixed. It was from a big box store. The customer service was top notch. The person who helped me out and fixed it was super to work with. He told me everything he was going to do the bike, estimate on the cost and time frame for when it was going to get done. The person had it done a few days quicker then the timeline and the bike works like it should. I'll be back the next time I want to get a bike or inevitably get one of ours fixed.

Friendly and helpful staff had the bike I called about setup and ready for a test ride by the time I showed up. They let me ride the bike around, installed all of the accessories I bought, and made sure everything on the bike was adjusted before turning it back over. They got me everything I needed to get back into riding and were the only shop in the state that had the All City Space Horse GRX 1.1 in my size. Super happy with everything and would recommend Freewheel Bike to everyone.

Had a great purchase experience with Paul F at the Woodbury location. As a first time mountain bike purchaser, I know very little. Paul took the time to answer all my questions, explain the bikes front to back, from the components to valves in the tires. Very knowledgeable and professional which ultimately led me to buying a nicer bike than anticipated and feeling great about it. Class act at this location 👌

Went in after checking online and seeing they had an Orbea Orca in my desired size in stock. Went in, spoke with an employee, took it out on a test ride, and verified sizing. I typically do my own maintenance and builds, so I'm relatively picky with everything. Grease was adequate in required/expected areas. Drivetrain was well adjusted. If I had to be more picky, I noticed the pedals I had them throw on were overtorqued when I swapped them for clipless pedals. Either way, knowledgeable and talented people work here. If you're looking for a new bike or a place to assist in maintaining your current one, definitely reach out to them. Overall great, friendly experience and wouldn't hesitate recommending them. The team is knowledgeable and the tech actually knows bikes well, rather than just blindly building them. Great place!

I was very impressed at the friendliness and expertise of the staff. As with most hobbies and sports it can be quite intimidating for for those starting out and not knowing much about anything. I'm terrible with names but the gentleman that assisted me was very knowledgeable and a great listener. He actively listened to my thoughts and needs and then steered me in the right direction. He even went so far to measure my foot for shoes and explained the process of how cycling shoes work and how they are incorporated into the pedal. He graciously offered to install the cleats on the new shoes and explained how to install the pedals and use the adjustment screw for the cleat release. He also took the liberty to sign me up for the Freewheel Fanatics in order to save me some extra money in the long run. This one amazing interaction has made me a loyal customer for life.

It turned out the bike I ordered was not in and Allison contacted me to give me the bad news and go over my options. I took her advice after several emails (kudos to Allison's responsiveness and knowledge) and went with the bike she recommended (this was all on a Saturday). She told me the bike should be shipping out in about five days. I got the new bike on Tuesday (three days after talking with her) and absolutely love the bike (Allison was spot on with her advice). Bike came in great shape and needed minimal installation steps. Was out riding thirty minutes after the box arrived. Great price, great service, great shipping!

We have now purchased 4 bikes with them. The latest was two kids bikes. I have been trying to work with my 4 and 6 year old, and at first we had the 6 year old on a cheap box store bike. So he went from balance bike to box store bike with training wheels to no training wheels. Then we started riding on some dirt, and the bike was just coming apart. So we decided to get him a Trek entry level mountain bike. What a difference. He is so much more stable, more balanced, and has way more control. Then the 4 year old (out of jealousy) decided to master the balance bike. This time we went from balance bike to small trek kids bike with no training wheels, and boom! He is doing pretty good. Much better than the box store bike experience with the oldest. We have learned our lesson, never cheap out on kids bikes and get the good stuff at Freewheel. Their staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Honestly, This was the best service I’ve had in a long time. I got a Kuat bike rack and they helped me with finding a compatible lock. It was the display model so there were a few loose bolts they tightened up for me. They even helped me save a little cash by signing me up for the fanatics club. Fantastic service and I’ll try to always go to Freewheel now instead of being lazy and buying any bike stuff via Amazon.

My first experience with this shop. I live in Nevada and ordered an Orbea Oiz MTB. I chose them as I couldn't find a 2021 model in any other shop or online. While I was initially a bit leery to order such an expense bike from a shop that I don't know I had a great experience. Before completing the purchase I had several detailed and very helpful conversations with the team via phone and chat - exceptional customer service and very friendly staff. Since I was about to leave town for a few days they made sure that they shipped the bike almost immediately so that I received it right before I left. My wife and i bought 2 Trek Allant+ 7S E-bikes from Brian at the Freewheel Woodbury store. I've been researching these bikes for years, and it finally seems they have reached a mature developed reliable platform without significant step change improvements year after year. I visited the store several times reviewing the bikes, as well as cross shopping other brands at other dealers. I was most impressed with and resulted in our purchase of the bikes because of:1. Quality of the Trek/Bosch product, 2. Great service and patience from Brian and his common sense, no pressure approach, 3. Local reputable dealership service,4. Trek's nationwide dealer network 5. Ability to mount an additional 500whr battery to the frame for long bike trips. Additionally, the Allant's rack lended itself to easily mount our existing Topeak rear rack bags w/ panniers (which we love), with a rack adapter. I have ridden a bit this winter, but waiting for it to warm up. We plan on riding the bike trails in Wisconsin/Minnesota, as well as 2 tracks and the Mickelson Trail in the Black Hills.
