I was in the middle of the Tour Divide bike race and was having horrible knee pain. I spent a day icing my knees in a hotel in Lincoln, Montana but it was not enough. I knew without a fit adjustment I was not going to make it.
I was getting desperate sitting in my hotel googling bike fitters. I had never contacted Chris before. He responded almost immediately during his vacation and helped me out. While it was not a proper bike fit as it was over the phone with photos, it helped tremendously and allowed me to continue. I couldn't believe how willing he was to help. Highly recommend.

Chris is brilliant; op 20 worldwide in bike-fitting. He’s also a great human being who cares deeply about the people he serves. I trust him and his judgement on anything bike related.

I used Chris a few years back in preparation for the Leadville 100. I had issues with hot spots and being uncomfortable on the bike, Chris made all the difference! Definitely recommend.

Recently had my new mountain bike fitted with Chris. Chris was super detailed and explained everything along the way. He answered all my questions and made a ton of adjustments to my rig. The bike feels completely different now in all the right ways.
I'd recommend Chris in a heartbeat.

Chris is skilled and efficient. My bike fit me pretty well going into the fitting, but he was able to fine tune my saddle and added a 1mm shim between my cleat and my shoe. It’s amazing how that 1 mm shim affected me. I thought going into the fitting that I just was bad at lifting my left hand, but I suddenly felt totally comfortable once my shoe had the shim. Chris clearly can identify and solve problems quickly. If you need a bike fit, I definitely recommend Bicycle Fit Guru.

Coming off of 2 years of injuries related to cycling and triathlon, i was getting pretty desperate. Even physical therapy wasn't helping like i hoped it would. Just one visit to Chris helped identify my issue, adjust my bike and make part swap outs as needed. This allowed me to get back on the bike much more comfortably than ever before. Wish i would have visited sooner! Thank you for your advice and great work, Chris.

Great experience with a bike fitting. Chris is very good at what he does. My bike feels totally different, in the best way possible. The comfort went up, and the soreness went down. A+ work. I will definitely be using his services, again.

Chris is a true medical professional. Besides helping me adjust my bike, he noticed a mechanical abnormality in my shoulder that he suspected was the root of some pains I was having. This prompted me to look at my mechanics from that point of view and improved my overall health tremendously.

The moment I sat on my bike Chris immediately saw issues. His knowledge is amazing. We worked through multiple iterations of tweaks and component changes until the bike felt completely different (in a good way).
Can't recommend this service enough!

Absolutely wonderful experience working with Chris. He really knows what he is doing and will do everything in his power to make you both more comfortable and more powerful on your bike. I've had fits before where people would just use their ReTul or other fit bike machines, plug in the numbers, and the fit was OK. And while Chris has all those tools, he has the wisdom and experience to only use that tool when appropriate. Most of my own fit was on my bike and he was able to use some crazy adjustable stem thing that let him effortlessly change around my position.
My original session with him was actually to find myself a new TT bike, and I came in with an idea of what frames I was interested in. But after he did an initial assessment with me, he showed me how the frame I was looking at would not give me as much adjustibility for my body vs another (which ended up being cheaper!). He then made sure that my fit measurements were sent to the bike shop as they built up the bike so that it came to me as accurate as possible before he got to see me actually on the bike. And when the bike was setup wrong, he took it upon himself to advocate for me to the shop owner to get things corrected!
The most amazing thing about my fit though was how he was able to really analyze my own biomechanics while pedaling in realtime and with slow motion video to see where I was losing a little bit of power and/or restricting my breathing. Throughout my fit he kept tweaking little things here and there, with each one making me feel maybe 1% better. But when you consider he made about 20 such tweaks, I came away instantly a much better cyclist, not to mention FAR more aero.
Once I left too, Chris immediately followed up by sending me an e-mail with all of my fit measurements, and also working with me on selecting some additional components. He's always quick to respond to any questions I have had between fits as well.
I have had other fits before that like I said, were OK, but there is nobody that I would recommend in the Twin Cities aside from Chris. His title is the "Bicycle Fit Guru" and for very good reason.
