Taylor, Kelly, and everyone else were a sheer pleasure to work with! They were patient as I chose my model, accommodated my first color choice, accessorized it exactly the way I wanted, and had it ready to go in time for my trip around the world. Loved the buying experience and love the bike!!!

I love bikes very few things in the world is as peaceful as peddling away feeling the sun on your face and the wind whistling around u. So it's nice to have a solid conversation with others who share your passion. My bike was fixed with minimal expense and minimal fuss. Joined the bike federation and will soon be enjoying the perks. The place and staff are well informed, helpful and fast. Lots of presents for the cyclist in your life. The only thing that saddens me is how often electric bikes were mentioned and how sad it is the Southside is so lacking in bike trails. The electric bike is lovely but there's something to be said in knowing u did 20+ miles on your steam. Also with the rising obesity rate and gas prices biking could do so much.

My absolute go-to for advice and help with my bike. I bought a GT Aggressor Pro 2 or 3 yrs ago and have been slowly upgrading every part. I readily admit to not knowing some stuff when it comes to bike building so Wheel and Sprocket has become my second home. The guys have ALWAYS been helpful and always given me great advice and prices on stuff, even throwing in small fixes and adjustments for free (I had a bent brake rotor but didn't have the tool to adjust it). Today i decided to regrease my wheel hubs and managed to lose 3 ball bearings, Home Depot is charging $1.27 for one ball bearing, I called Wheel and Sprocket and Chris checked his personal supply and told me to come on over and I could get them at no charge. I love this shop and the people are really great.

Stephen (Steven? Sp?) RULES. He spent a ton of time and energy helping me revamp an old bike I loved and purchased off Craigslist, making it safer and a real pleasure to ride, and aesthetically pleasing as well! It’s hard to find bike mechanics who make you feel welcome and like you aren’t crazy for loving old things. 5+stars, I will be back.

My favorite thing about Wheel & Sprocket (any location I've gone to) is I have never had anyone try to sell me anything I didn't need. In fact, so many times staff have steered me away from the more expensive things I was looking at to the cheaper version because it makes more sense for me. That's why I try to buy any bike accessories from them at this point.
10ish years ago I went into their store at Hales Corners to get a bike. I hadn't had one in a while, and was looking at some of the more expensive ones and the sales associate after asking what I planned to use it for told me that other than for visual appearance, the expensive model isn't needed for me and I ended up getting a nice hybrid bike instead. I always appreciated that they didn't try to sell me the more expensive one when they could have.
I stopped riding for years and suddenly decided I wanted a cruiser bike. I went to this Bay View location and was asking about them, tried a few, and kept saying how my hybrid bike was old and junky. He asked me to bring it in so I did and he basically said it was a really nice bike and in great shape. He said I could get it tuned up if I wanted, and then that employee looked and said it didn't need anything really so I should save my money. I decided to keep my bike and have now gone back to get a lot of accessories that make my rides feel more safe like a better helmet, lock, lights, etc.
If you want to go somewhere to get actual advice on bikes and know you aren't going to be encouraged to buy the most expensive thing unless it actually makes sense for you.. go here! With their advice I've been getting back into riding and I've been using my 10 year old bike I got from them and it's been great! They actually care about biking and want to help and are not pushy at all. Their prices are pretty good too and pretty much the same as even Amazon now so why not support a local business run by actual people who care?

Quiet. Clean. Long walk to the front door, or you to go up a lot of steps.
Cafe is cute but small. It took a long time to get waited on. Coffee and muffins were both good. Staff could be better about talking about the bikes. There are a lot of beautiful bikes here. I have always wanted a electric bike but No one approached us, two women, at all. It was difficult to find the restroom and even harder to find someone to ask where it was.

I was once very happy with this store, but they recently told me that they were unable to do a basic tune up on my bikes because they did not have time.
Follow up: Jesse contacted me personally and made every effort to make things right.

Jason hooked it up today. My boyfriend and I were just starting out on an all day bike ride and I got a flat. I was thankfully very close to Wheel and Sprocket and was able to walk my bike straight in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I walked my bike straight in and Jason helped me get a new inner tube within 20min. And I was back on the road. This was the best customer service I've ever had a bike shop.

Had a great talk with Chris Keidel after having some nuts and springs stolen from my bike - gave me some replacements to get me back on the road and tips on gear that would help prevent it in the future. 10/10

I needed new tires and rolled in on a Saturday. Was greeted right away and Levi was helpful in showing the tire options for my bike. Tires were replaced and tubes within 30 minutes. I also grabbed some new handle grips to boot. Levi was exceptional and professional.

Recently had my bike here for a tune up, new chain and new tire. In what I’m sure is a very busy time for them, I had my bike back and ready ride in less than two weeks! Professional and friendly staff. Also this is such a baller space, like come here just to walk around inside. I believe they have a cafe/bar inside and also huge picture windows where you get surprisingly good view of downtown and the Hoan bridge

The new spot here is awesome! Needed to swap out a chain and had fantastic service from Victoria who was able to fit me in right on the spot. Her and the rest of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Would totally buy a bike from here

Wheel & Sprocket nailed it. Originally housing steel component manufacturing for the railroad industry, this renovated building provides a dynamic, bright atmosphere while artfully incorporating its manufacturing roots. In addition to everything else you'd expect a bike store to offer, this location sells local crafts and goods, perfect for decoration or gifts. Oh, and don't forget their coffee bar, which is worth a visit alone. What an excellent addition to Bay View and Milwaukee!

I came by the bay view shop last evening with my wife to check out a few road bikes. Having done quite a bit of research, i really just needed to sit on a few bikes to determine my size so I could narrow down my options.
I was approached by Joe Arnold while looking. He not only went out of his way to find me a certain bike to test fit and ride, he also let me bounce questions off him for quite a while - giving his honest thoughts right back. Never did I feel pressured or put off by a “sales guy”. He was honest, professional, and personable - and truly shows what the importance of a local bike shop is.
Over the years I’ve probably bought half a dozen bikes from W&S. However I’ve found myself bouncing between locations after a few negative interactions at certain w&s stores. Joe stood out having given me one best interactions I’ve had with one of your employees.
That’s all - just wanted to share my positive thoughts. Too many people only share negative opinions nowadays. My wife and I thought it was worth sending a note.
Buy Joe a beer for me!
