I went to trailside because they sell magnum ebikes and I can say it was excellent. The owner (Hans) was extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. Work with my wife and I to dial in our new bikes, never making us feel pressured. Finally he supports veterans, keep up the good work.

This is a great bike shop, located conveniently along a great biking path. Hans was very generous with his time and resources (bike pump, restroom, water) and was more than willing to offer advice about mechanical questions / concerns. The shop has everything one might need in a pinch on a bike ride and much more. The service was excellent, a needed stop after a long morning of biking that equipped me with the products and knowledge I needed to complete my Wisconsin bike tour. Thanks, Hans!

Great and fast service! I called a few other places and they were weeks out. I brought my new ebike in for a tune up and they explained what was needed. Highly recommend!

I called 5 other bike shops in my area to get an estimate for the assemble of a bike that I bought for my granddaughter and it was still in the box. Most of the shops gave me a price of $100. or more for assembly and it wouldn't be done until the end of July!! Then I called Trailside, and they couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! They gave me a estimate of $30. to assemble the bike, and said it would be finished in about two days, then they will call me. Well, they called me back in ONE DAY to say the bike was ready for pickup! When I went there the next day to pick up the bike, the person helping me could not have been any nice and helpful! The bike was assembled perfectly, and they stood by their $30. estimate! (I had to tip them a ten!) I will definitely use Trailside again for any of my bike needs!!!

When you are in desperate need of a very specific bike and you are trying to put together the transaction from over 1,000 miles, you really need someone you can trust. All I can say is, Tom went the extra mile for me and got me just the bike that was needed. Even when I could not finalize the deal on time, he still held the bike for me. When shipping a long distance, you really want someone to do a good job of packing and Tom and his staff did just that. Thanks again for your excellent work and support.

I went here to have my wife's road bike converted to an upright hybrid. Nigel spent a lot of time giving me recommendations and advice and we soon came to an agreement. He displayed excellent knowledge and offered ways to keep the costs down, (even talked me out of more expensive changes and explained why). The bike was ready sooner than promised, cheaper than promised, and it looked spectacular! It looked like a brand new purpose-built hybrid. The shop is located right along a public trail and is very convenient. I have shopped there for myself and have been extremely pleased. The selection of bikes and gear is very extensive. I can honestly give Nigel and his shop my highest recommendation. Keep up the good work! I'll be back!

I have ordered 2 or 3 times a year for the last 5 years approximately from Trailsidecycle and I circle 30 km daily to work. I just had some problems on the way and quickly resolved them. A convenient way to buy, the tires are about 50% less than the local bike shops here. I service my own bike and make sure I order the parts I need in advance. Nice and easy!

Without a doubt the most down to earth bikeologists you can work with. Excellent service and reasonably patient, more so than I would have been if roles were reversed. They did an unscheduled tune up and some modifications on a bike I purchased a while back. Finished in less than an hour while they were in the middle of what looked like a huge work load. No charges or complaints and even answered some stupid question I was asking. Seriously, if you care about your bike go there because they care about your bike too. Thanks guys I really appreciate your help today!

I went to Trailside to buy my first road bike and had an awesome experience. I returned a couple of times before buying my bike because I was comparing bikes at different stores. The staff was very patient and had answers to all of my questions. They were knowledgeable and friendly and Hans was nice enough to give me a discount on some of the accessories I bought with the bike. I will definitely return and recommend the store to others.

Great bike shop located on the WE energy trail( New Berlin). In the past few months had to have repairs done three times. The owner helped me immediately and fixed the problems quickly. Two cable changes and a flat. Great price and very prompt service. Keep up the good work!!!

At the end of my ride I tipped over and hit my rear derailleur and it quit working. It was stuck in the two highest gears. I called Trailside and they said, "Bring it on in, we'll take a look." In a half hour, it was a quick adjustment and a new chain and my bike was shifting perfectly. Thanks guys!

They are a small shop not a big box store so they have winter hours so call before you head over. When they are there they are really willing to help customers the best they can. Highly recommended.

The Reid bike I bought is a great bike. I ride from downtown Waukesha to Milwaukee, on the trail daily. It's super fast,fun, and reliable. I get compliments everywhere I go. It changes gears easily, and it was a great investment! I love this bicycle! People have stopped me and asked about the bike, and the electric kit they added. I always recommend that you go to Trailside Cycle and talk to John or Nigel..

Stopped in here looking for a chainring and a break for a BMX bike. The staff was helpful and nice to talk to. I ended up get a great price on a nice break set up. This is a great lil store that I will be stopping at more often.

After a lot of deliberation, and patience from Hans, finally made my first purchase of a bike in at least 15 years. I knew I wanted something unique, growing up with BMX race bikes, I wanted something like a BMX bike for adults. Hans walked me through my options, and discussed the pros/cons of each. Since the store is more independent than others in the area, I wasn't getting led to 1 bike because it was the only one that fit the bill from their main supplier. Looking at offerings from the smaller boutique companies like BMC, Marin, Jamis, and Surly, I landed on the Jamis Komodo 27.5+. It was the style I wanted and within my budget, but lacked some of the features I had to have. Most importantly, I wanted a 1x front chain ring to remove the clutter/weight/complexity of a front derailer and multiple chain rings. Also possibly a solid front fork. I was told by other shops that this was not as simple as I believed, and would cost a lot to modify, and I should just pick a doubly expensive bike from their "Big Brand", that already have the features I wanted. That isn't how Trailside Cycles operates. Hans assured me that the mod is (not to undersell it) quite simple, order in a new chain ring, remove the derailer/shifter/cables, do a little tuning and I'd be all set. Hans told me he would order the part on Monday, it would take a day to get the part, and another to install it, should be done on Wednesday. He was done and gave me a call the SAME day, literally just a few hours later. Took it apart, saw the clearance issue with just installing a new chain ring on the old crank. Had a correct crank/chain ring in stock, and did the work that night. All of this was completed for the cost of parts. No labor. I also got all of the original parts in case I ever want to go back to stock. If this is the bike you want, with this change, don't get upsold to a bike double your budget. It's small shops like Trailside Cycle that put an importance on YOU, the customer.
