Josh and his colleague set up our new workout room and suggested that we need to have mats underneath each piece of equipment which turned out to be a great look and also protect the carpet from high genes and so on. This could not have been a better experience! From the day I walked into the show room I was very well educated as to the difference in commercial and residential machines. Any question I could think to ask was readily answered. I felt extremely confident that we had chosen the exact equipment we needed for our new fitness room. Spectacular service did not stop there… I was kept informed every step of the way. We we’re in a situation where the owners of the complex were flying into town on Thursday and you guys made a special effort to get the equipment in and install on Monday! The delivery guys were fantastic !! They paid great attention to detail, kept everything cleaned, tested all the equipment and answered any questions we had regarding the use and maintenance of the equipment. My wife and I decided to purchase bicycles after not biking since we were kids. We received personalized attention from our salesman Scott that helped us decide what bicycles to purchase. Scott and several other employees took over 40 minutes to demonstrate how to properly attach a bike rack to our vehicle and to make sure the bikes were adjusted properly! I had the best experience EVER yesterday at Scheller's!!! I had purchased a indoor cycling bike from Facebook marketplace. It's a basic model, but in near perfect condition, and I got a great deal on it! I brought it home, only to realize that I was too short for it and was not able to pedal comfortably. I called Scheller's and they immediately put me in contact with Josh (who was AMAZING). He listened to my issue, had me send him some pictures of the bike and spoke with the parts and repair team about some of my options. He got back with me quickly, and said that they would be able to help! I brought in my bike, they watched me pedal a few times to see where the issue was and figured out quickly how to help me solve this problem. They end up getting me a new seat, that sat lower and even cut the bike rod to shorten even more. They had me get on it several times to watch me pedal, to make sure it was exactly where it needed to be. I was able to bring home my bike the same day (within the hour actually). The best part is, everything only cost me $30 dollars. I could not have asked for better service or a better experience. Josh and the other staff was so nice and incredibly helpful. They definitely went above and beyond! Thank you!

My husband and I purchased Citizen 2 bikes a few months ago and came in for our 90 day check up. We have been riding the bikes almost every weekend and decided to add a few accessories. Jerren took time to help us pick out a computer, bag, oil, and emergency tire change supplies. He also took time to teach us how to change a bike tire and he installed the products we purchased. I attended a very informative class today on basic bicycle inspection presented by Seamus Silliman. It was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to better care for your bike! After I went home and worked on my own bike, I had additional questions and called Scheller's and spoke with Scott, who told me to bring the bike into the shop. Seamus was kind enough to look at my bike and further explain maintenance procedures to me. Great shop with great staff. Zach knows his stuff, was very helpful, and changed my tube for free which had blown out a week after 3 miles on my new bike. He also replaced my old bike's tube very quickly and was able to replace my old tire for free with an extra stock tire that had been taken off a recently sold bike. I've only been there a couple times, but they will hand out some free items that they've changed out of other bikes and have stocked up. I am definitely going to be a regular customer at this store.

I've been a customer for almost a decade now, and I've always had excellent service. Most recently I had Shawn come out and fix my treadmill that had a component fail after a couple thousand hours. Not only did he restore it to perfect working condition, but he went way above and beyond to make sure it was properly tested and the working area was cleaned up before he left. I highly recommend! I've also had my bike tuned up at the Clarksville location every year for about 9 years.

I would like anyone in the market for fitness or cycling equipment to consider Schellers. My husband and I decided to upgrade our home gym and had several large pieces of equipment delivered to our home. We also had some equipment that was removed and taken away. The guys that came to our house were Josh, Dakota, and Jose. I can’t say enough good things about these three. They were great with communicating their arrival time and what needed to be done. While they were at our home, all three were extremely polite and very good with our 7 year old, who asked a million questions. They kept everything very neat and clean. They even helped rearrange some existing equipment so that we could put everything where we wanted it. I am so pleased with everything from the fitness equipment to the staff. My wife and I purchased an adult tricycle from Scheller's and the experience was great. The provided space for my wife to ride the tricycle and were helpful In selecting the features. Their suggestion was to get the geared tricycle and that was spot on. We returned in a couple of days to get rack to carry both the tricycle and a road bike and again the selection was perfect. They assembled the rack and helped to place it on the car. The assembly was well done and everything is working out well.

We went in for a simple tube replacement for the back tire. I was surprised at both how inexpensive it was and the great service we received. Specifically, they fixed both brakes which had not been aligned correctly when we brought it in. I will definitely choose to come back next time we need bike repair.

Recently I moved and found on the day of the move that the moving company was not able to transport my fitness equipment. I typically do not write reviews but this is an exception for the excellent experience I had while shopping for an ellipitcal. I had researched models online, but there simply wasn't enough info to assist me before making a purchase. I decided I would do some leg work and visited Scheller's. The experience from the time I walked in the door up until date of delivery (yes, it ended with a sale) was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable. Now, fast forward to delivery because this is typically where everything goes south. They've made the sale and the major part is done (unfortunately some businesses feel that way). But not Schellers. It was the opposite by far. Jason and Brandon delivered my equipment and they were AWESOME! They approached my door with smiles and upon greeting them they asked to see where I wanted the equipment so they could map out the best way to bring it in to avoid unnecessary problems with getting it through doorways and down steps. After getting it set-up they gave me the 411, answered all my questions, and was patient and courteous the entire time. Trust me, I've had my share of deliveries and at times I couldn't get the delivery person(s) out of my home quick enough, but these two I could've let hang around forever. Kudos to Scheller's for having such a GREAT staff and for making my purchase experience very pleasant from start to finish.

Always a place to go to hands on try the products and get in depth information between models and manufacturers of their fitness equipment.....coming out of 2020, I am committed to shopping small and local businesses....bought my current treadmill from them in 1995. The motor just gave out and for equipment that old it wasn’t worth replacing. Several manufacturers to pick from when we were looking for industrial type equipment that will last us.

Knowing I had one week to find someone to move my treadmills to a new location and the movers were scared to touch them; I called Scheller's for help. I spoke with Josh, who was very helpful while personable in scheduling. Martin and Bobby picked up my treadmills from my home the next day. Josh from Scheller's stated that they would hold them for my family til we relocate in a week. That was a load off my mind! The two men were very respectful of my home and extremely polite with excellent manners. However, I did have to pay extra, but it was well worth it.

An incredible experience all around starting in the showroom with Scott (who helped me for over an hour), the follow-up for install with Greg Scheller himself and Mike, and the actual install itself with Mike and Brian. At least three months passed from the time of my purchase until my space was competed and the equipment could be assembled. The guys checked in with me along the way (Greg even made a house call to see where the equipment was going to be installed), and when I was finally ready, it was as if I had been in the store just the day before. This was like an old school customer service experience from beginning to end. I would very highly reccomend these guys with enthusiasm!

We needed a cable for our weight training machine. There are very few options to replace/make cables, especially for machines with no name plates. We contacted Scheller's via email, and discovered they custom make cables at their Preston Hwy location. Took the broken cable into the shop, they measured it and we had it installed in less than a week. If you miss quality customer service, please visit a Scheller's and you will be overwhelmed - they are fantastic. Scheller's is our place for fitness equipment and repairs. Most recently they were a huge part in the successful and safe move from our Heuser River Road location to the Mellwood Art Center. The knowledge of how to move such bulky and heavy and expensive equipment was invaluable. I don't think we could have done it without them. Greg Scheller came and stayed for 2 days assisting my staff with the move and building a platform himself for the rented forklift so equipment could be lowered safely from our 2nd floor location at River Road. He truly saved us from what would have been a very scary and unsafe situation of loading equipment onto the bare forklift and likely losing it in mid air! We are so grateful and appreciative for the partnership and most of all our friendship. Great Staff, Great Store! I am not sure where to start. I bought a used Specialized Hardrock Ultra back in February. Living in Okolona for years I was familiar with Scheller's being there on Preston. So after I bought this bike I called about some gear adjustments. Anyway, when I brought the bike in for a recommended tune up Dan waited on me. He was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I later returned on several occasions and I will either ask for Dan or he will see me and come greet me and see if I need help with anything. He has helped me pick out a new seat on one visit a helmet on another, a car rack, twice, etc... Always going above and beyond to help me out. Well I recently tried some trail riding and was hooked after a couple of trips and decided I wanted a 29er. So back to Scheller's I went looking at my options. My wife and I don't have much disposable income, so I couldn't just walk in and buy the best bike available. I had to find a bike I would be satisfied with for the money I could spend. Again, Dan assisted me greatly in my efforts to find a bike I would be happy with and could afford. I am the proud owner of a new Trek Marlin 29er. (Purchased on June 16, 2012) After I finally got my wife to go for a ride with me on the bike that was thrown in on the deal with the previously mentioned used Specialized, we both realized very quickly that bike wasn't going to work for her. I started looking at used bikes, and looked at some new Schwinns on line. She will not be riding as aggressively or as frequently as me so I couldn't see spending the money on a high end bike for her. But the more I looked at used and big chain store bikes, it was a no brainer to just spend a little more money and get a good quality bike with knowledgeable people to stand behind it and service it. So last night my wife and I were once again back at Scheller's. Dan helped us pick out a bike for her. We ended up getting a Trek 820. She is happy with the bike and I think its a perfect bike for her. (Purchased June 21, 2012) I just wanted to take a few minutes to write a short (well I guess it's not very short) thank you to Dan. Dan is a great asset to your company. I look forward to a long term relationship with cycling, Scheller's, Trek and "Dan the Man"! Sometimes you really do get what you pay for! I just wanted to thank you all for your great business and staff, and of course in particular, Dan.

I saw two vans with tools able to help with all kinds of troubles on the road...flat tires, seat adjustments, and more flocked around them. My bike was in a crash, and the chain was wedged in very tight. Thank you Cooper, Marty, and Greg for being there, getting your hands/gloves dirty, and getting me on the road again. Excellent place. Large, large selection of bikes, bikes, and bikes!... all there for hands-on entertainment. I tried out several bikes. What was nice, and better than I expected, was how great the salespeople where. I thought I would feel like I was being pressured by car salesmen, but that was not the case. They answer questions and then leave you alone to browse... no matter if making a purchase or not. Though I was not looking for such items directly, there was a large selection of fitness equipment. It also appears that this places services bikes and fitness equipment as well... but I have not needed those services yet.

Lots of excersize equipment. Like the Middletown location, the employees and staff know there stuff. I could pick the employees brains for hours. You really get rhe impression they live, eat, breathe bicycles. They sell quality new bicycle equipment and bikes. From novice to everyday rider, this is the place to go, in my opinion; in Louisville.
