Just purchased a nice used bike from Julie and she gave me a good deal. A good bike will last a long time as long as it is taken care of. When I need to get anything added to it, I'll go back to her cuz I know she will stand behind her work.

Holy where do I start I went to earls. I needed my crank to come off because it was stripped and earls wanted to charge me 150 and I did not have that much money so I looked for some other places to go and I found Brett’s bikes and I decided to give it a try and she took the part off for free and had amazing prices on other things that I needed for my bike and great service definitely recommend!

What an absolute pleasure it has been for me working with Betty's Bikes. I am new to bicycling and needed some help choosing a bike. I tried multiple times to contact one of the "premier" local bike shops and they were not helpful at all. At one point, I was told flatly that they were too busy to help me, and could not let me know when someone would be available. In stark contrast was Julie at Betty's Bikes. Julie took the time to have a pleasant and leisurely conversation with me the first time I called. I then bought an old bike from Craigslist that Julie refurbished for me. She was a good listener and set the bike up just the way I hoped for. And she did so at an unbelievably reasonable cost. And that's not even the best part--I dropped my bike off on a Wednesday evening, Julie had surgery that Friday, and my bike was still ready the following Monday. Totally bonkers. I plan to have all of my future work done at Betty's.

Betty is one of the most incredible humans I have ever met. She is beyond friendly and super helpful. The shop itself is amazing, huge selection of bikes, parts, and accessories. Lots of used bikes that she fixes up and resells in top-notch condition. The shop also buys used bikes, which is super awesome. Being a small, locally owned business, I can't think of a better bike shop to do business with than this one.

If Google would let reviewers throw a sixth star into a rave review once a year, I'd give mine to Betty's Bikes.
Going to Betty's was by far the best experience I've ever had at a bike shop. I'd put off taking my road bike in for way too long, in part because I usually dread dealing with the attitude and judgement that I associate so deeply with interacting with underpaid, underemployed staff at your typical shop. But Julie was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient, and her set up was super chill. I called late on a Thursday afternoon and she apologized she couldn't get me in the next day. I ended up booked a time to come in on a Saturday, and then when the work ran a little long, she offered to meet up the next day to finish up. She was happy to talk through all the tasks that needed doing, and was happy to put me to work, so that I'd have a better ability to take care of my bike in the future. In the end, she was going to only ring me up for a tire and a brake line (both for way cheaper than I've seen anywhere else), when really we did like four other things. For the first time ever in my frugal life I made sure I paid double the asking price.

Really like this quirky, eclectic little shop... have bought and sold a few bikes here, as I live in the area. All types and price ranges. I like the fact that it's a non-profit that started on a shoestring, and has been able to survive for six years while helping the community. The owner, Julie, is friendly, bright, and knowledgeable. She also runs a repair school for those who would like to get certified, and perhaps get a new career.... or get serious about repairs and building. Lots of cool books on many subjects and coffee, too !

I called up a few different bike shops back in March to help me with my new e-bike. Betty's was the only shop able to help me same-day. Very kind people. Would recommend.

Tucked away down the path, These people are awesome and will take care of your every bicycle need. They can help you choose a bike to fit your needs, allow your test ride it. If you have any issue with your bike they have the people to fix it. Just give them a call if they don't seem open.

Highly recommend, amazing service and great price. And she tries hard to get you a bike unlike some places who shoo you away if you didn't book it online!!!

Betty's Bikes is a wonderful place, which will get your bike fixed, and keep an open door to your neighbors while doing so ...
